I need to get something off my chest.
FFI arc in inazuma eleven isn't my favorite season in the franchise. But there is one thing that is hilarious too me for no reason.
That thing is..
The fact that everyone is from other countries, which means that
A LOT OF THE PLAYERS WOULD EXPIRIENCE CULTURE SHOCK. Maybe not big time, but it would still be there.
Imagine the European players talking with Asian players about like core childhood memories and the European players are like
What the fuck...
And I'm so sad that people don't talk about it.
Or they do, and I'm just stupid as fuck.

“Sounds perfect. I guess I’m gonna have to teach y’all about sushi. Since, you know, I’m cutlrured and all that shit.” Aaron said as he stood up and stretched. “When are we going?”
“Thank you, babe. Don’t gas me like that. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while.” She said before checking her phone for messages after posting the video to instagram. “Oo, so I was talking to G because I want to take you to get something to eat after we left here. I invited her too. How does Japanese sound?”

Online Minorities
After analyzation of the readings for this weeks module topic of online minorities, I was able to find several links from the readings to the accounts I follow. For the topic of online minorities, I focused primarily on Timothydelaghetto’s social media accounts since he is the only minority of the three accounts I follow. Though the other accounts may be apart of online minority communities but I thought this topic would be fitting for Tim’s account. According to the Cisneros and Nakayama article, the authors claim that there is an issue of old versus new racism that that we are currently living in a “post-racial” society (p. 109). Cisneros also states that a large part of the post-racial society is the “color-blindness” that factors into more racism. An example of the this type of racism being deployed in Tim’s account was he posted back in 2012 titled, “racist meal time”. A parody of epic meal time, this video uses comedy to cover up the potentially offending stereotypes of Asians. At one point of the video he pretends to eat dogs, but the comedy covers up the racist intent of the joke. Though comedical, videos and comments like this one show that we are lvingin a culture where it is now acceptable to be racist as long as it is funny. Ciseneros also talks about the concept of “context collapse” and I was able to find an example of this from Tim’s Twitter account(p. 117). “So much subliminal racism against Asians!”.  On page 122, Cisneros concludes that our cutlrure affects new media communication and I think this is exemplified in the anonymity and ease of saying offensive or racist things to minorities. Timothydelaghetto is a media personality that is known to be a “black Asian” even though he is not African American. In the Florini article, she talks about the concept of “signifyin”(p. 224). This is the linguistic performance of wordplay to depict black culture. I found dozens of examples of this on Tim’s twitter of him using slang that is typically used in the black community. Terms such as “ain’t”, “bruh”, “finna” are terms used by him that signify being part of the community. These are just a few examples of the terms of the many “signifying terms”. Florino also talks about the subject of “black twitter” and Tim uses is verbatim as well as taste to fit into this community which also happens to be an online minority. In the way he dresses to his Jordans that he wears, the taste he deploys typically aligns with the black community but because of the way he talks and dresses he is better able to fit into this minority community. The vernacular Tim deploys allows him to fit into the black community. Another thing that I found that aligns Tim with the black online minority community is the concept of shared ideology. Being liberal is primarily a black demographic and he also takes a democratic political stance further aligning him with this community. Going back to the Cisneros article, the claim that blogs and forums are the new avenue for deploying the types of racism as opposed to social media as a whole. I found this relates to Tim’s account because he is a vlogger and uses this type of media platform to communicate his ideas and opinions. I found a hard time relating Tim’s account to concepts in the Boyd and Magnent articles however. In all, the concept of old and new racism online is definitely shown through posts and replies to Tim’s youtube videos and tweets. We discussed the concept of context collapse as well as the color blindness that enables online racism on media platforms because of the anonymity factor of media.
