Hello! Thank you! I do have the intention to finish it, but I couldn't say when. It's been 2+ years since I posted the last chapter, and I really need to revisit Brotherhood to get into it again.

Part of Chapter 23 is written, so while I don't know when to expect another installment, here is a snippet:

Random but 2-3 years ago I would have freaked out /so bad/ if I had seen one of my favorite fan artists draw fan art of my favorite ship in one of my FAVORITE AU:S. Now I’m like ‘awww’ for a moment and move on.

I'm gonna start for this one bc sadly I've only found 1 fic about them, I haven't read the whole thing, but for what I've been through, it's pretty good! It's a trilogy and each volume is a compilation of one shots about what happened when Al went to Xing to learn alkahestry with Mei. The titles are:

"Good for the soul", "A source of hope" and "Refuge from darkness" by ClosetFMAfan on ffn

Edit: GO CHECK "Warmer with you" and "Sugar sweet" by @roboticrainboots to die of cuteness. She's also working in another fic Imma die😱!

And if you’re searching for fics about my beloved EdWin, then the first place you should check is @winryofresembool ​ ‘s tumblr and go for her master list of fics! Be ready to be drowned in fluff and cuteness after that, you’re warned! She also has an ao3 account where rn she’s posting one of my fav AUs ever “Love can melt the ice” (which you can also find here on tumblr).

There’s also @luffywhatelse ! She’s posted some cute EdWin one shots here on tumblr too! Go check her!

Some other classics (that you probably know about) and I’ve loved so much are:

- Perfect Blood series by c.mary.c on ffn ➡ In this AU Winry has a blood disorder which makes her special and the military sends a soldier (Edward) to protect her... There’s some angst but it’s so recommendable too)(there are at least 8 fics in this series so go check her account for more 😉)

- Princess Bride by Mediafan ➡  Finished and with a bit of angst but so good in the end!! This is an AU based on the movie by the same title.

- Kingdom by Mediafan ➡ This one is also an AU in which the Elrics (well, the Hohenheims) are gangsters. It’s not finished but the author tries to update a ch every month. This is also one of my favorite stories I’ve read so far! So totally recommend it!

-INaBD by hangonsilvergirl  ➡ I’ve heard a lot of fma fans gush about this one and if they think it’s good, it may be worth it! It’s written in a text format btw. (I’ve only read a few ch tho but I’m planning to continue with it soon 😊!)

Well those are some of the fics I’d liked the most during the short time I’ve been in the fandom, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! And always remember, leave comments to the authors so they know that you’ve loved their work 😊! That will encourage them to keep doing their best to give us the most awesome fanfiction!!

I do think that the term allosexual inabd if itself isn’t harmful, but the way that people like bubga use it as a way to put down others and raise themselves up is gross.

“Something something you’re not oppressed,” you all know the routine. If you can voice criticism of allos then allos can voice criticism of aces and “ace spectrum” people. Two way road, buddy.

Minors can and do experience attraction and sexual feelings. This is a part of growing up for a huge majority of the population. It’s called getting crushes and being curious. It’s perfectly natural and shouldn’t be looked down on or scrutinized. We ought to be teaching teens —and to a certain extent, children— safe and positive habits for their relationships, and for many teens (read: minors) this includes a sexual aspect.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

For published authors, L.M. Montgomery (I love all of the Anne books), J.R.R. Tolkien, Diana Gabaldon, Alan Bradley, Gregory Maguire, Patrick Ness, Suzanne Collins, and @neil-gaiman. Also Hiromu Arakawa because Fullmetal Alchemist is damn near perfect in every way. For fanfiction my roots are in HP. The Shoebox Project by dorkorific and ladyjaida (a Remus/Sirius story) was one absolutely foundational, and I still reread it from time to time; same with @copperbadge's Stealing Harry series. Before text/social-media based fics were very popular, Text Talk by merlywhirls became a big source of inspiration for my FMA fic, It's Not a Big Deal, and cemented it as a medium I enjoy stories being told through. Another one that I have gone back to over and over through the years is The Maddest House by busaikko.

19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

My brain isn't straining much beyond the confines of Hellcheer atm, but I've been toying with a few ideas for Anidala and Reylo. And I'd like to return to Edwin (FMA:B) and finish my It's Not a Big Deal story. I started it in 2014, last updated it in 2020, and it's two chapters away from finished; I really just need to re-watch the anime and see if it sparks any inspiration.

I may have fangirled a bit when I saw you had read my fic. I really love your art (especially the inabd pieces and the comic that you are currently making)! 

Anyway, thank you for the nice words :’) Oh boy, one day Ed will probably have to tell Alan how babies are made and that is gonna be so incredibly awkward (and hilarious). I love it. OH MY GOD, I’m just watching Say Yes to the Dress UK (duh, my guilty pleasure) and the bride told that she had met her future husband when one of them had started to text to a wrong number, and now they are getting married. If this doesn’t make me think of INaBD, IDK what does.
