Ok so I’ve been curious about this:

When you played Pokemon Sword + Violet, did your trainer avatars look like Alex & Max? Or something else?

We've been playing as our boyos~! :D Obviously we couldn't get a perfect 1:1 match, but I think we've got it more than close enough all things considered ~

And it's not just the player avatars either, we've stuck to their type specialisations as well ~ It certainly makes for an interesting challenge considering story progression, and you get to see a lot of interesting personality quirks and such with the mons' when in the picnic modes too, which inspires what goes into the story and how I draw the mons.

At time of posting, I've more or less stopped midway in the BB DLC for Violet, intentionally restricting myself from completion until I can get some decent story work done and out, while Hope is just past the Fire Gym in Sword as he only plays to keep pace with my drafts, although I did play Shield a number of years ago, so I've got a good idea of how things progress there anyway. We keep the files separate because Hope plays quite a bit differently to me, which makes for interesting battle-writing and helps keep the boys distinct.

VERA: Grandoise Glamor

Vera is the captain of Cerberus and one of the first characters we are introduced to in the main story. This particular frame of hers is actually one of my favorite units. It is gorgeous and one I loved at first sight!

While I was editing this, I thought to myself why this pose looked so familiar when it hit me that it's similar to one of Jiyan's official art! Not the back shot of them looking back at the camera. 😆😆 Extra points to Vera for showing off her banner spear with the matching weapon coating~

It doesn't help that this coating's appearance really brings Jiyan to mind. There's the green, for one thing. (The usual Vera is mostly, in typical Kuro/PGR fashion, black+white+a splash of color, the red in Vera's hair.)

Then there is also Vera: Garnet's moveset as a (banner) spear user + this particular coating having special effects similar to Jiyan's battle animations with the green dragon...

I, too, am AMAZED at how I managed to capture the above picture! Her Signature Move with the dragon special effect from her Core Passive (think of it like the Forte Circuits in WuWa) is visible in the background. My favorite from this photo set for sure!

I remember when this coating was first released on CN. I thought to myself that this is the closest we could imagine how Jiyan's skill animations would look in the then unreleased Wuthering Waves. Looking at Jiyan now, I'd say close enough!

Ghostwire: Tokyo blind playthrough screenshots.

I love basically everything about this game so far, the way it looks, the inclusion of the supernatural and Japanese folklore into the story, even the combat system; it's unique and very fun, and also pretty easy to use once you got used to it.

Also, I appreciate the concept they did with the "open world": yes, it IS open but you have to be the one making it so by cleansing shrines and torii gates from supernatural corruption so they stop emitting the deadly fog covering Tokyo at the beginning of the game.

Oh, and there are cats; because of course there are.

So far I have been enjoying War Within! That intro was wild...

But, got a cool little lantern for Aidan which I like cause in my D&D campaign I'm in he uses an oil lantern to see.

AND MAN I LOVE THE HERO TALENTS! Hellcaller is so cool! Aidan getting this shadow demon form is awesome, I love it! Might have to make it canon to Aidan we will see.

CERBERUS: Fairy Garment

The first team coating (outfits/cosmetics/skins) in PGR, and it's not for the Gray Ravens. Also my first Punishing: Gray Raven post on tumblr! And again, it's not the titular Gray Ravens 😂🙏

Cerberus is one of the teams we meet in PGR composing of Vera, Noctis, and No. 21.

In the previous patch, the Cerberus team had a couple of firsts for the game: the first Team Signature Move, and first team-wide themed coatings!

For the Team Signature Move: if you play Wuthering Waves, think of it like the Dream Link/coordinated Ult gameplay in the Somnoire.

For the team-wide themed coatings: when PGR releases coatings, it's usually released individually only for characters and independent of their teams or allegiances, with varied themes, so these coatings are really special!

Alongside these was a special story behind these coatings, complete with voice-overs in CN! For a game whose story is presented in a visual novel style, and mostly devoid of voice overs even in the main story, it's really refreshing.
