---
You were fucked. And, fuck, did you know it.
“You idiot!” you cursed, “Do you wanna die? How could you be so stupid?”
Your partner in crime (literally) turned to you with a crazed grin on his face, high on the rush. “What? Don’t tell me you’re scared of some little sheriff.”
The sheriff, in question, is none other than Gojo Satoru. Not only was he the youngest sheriff in the region, but he was an incredible shot and phenomenal horseback rider. The man was known all throughout the west for his strength, wit, and impeccable skill as a marksman. And he just so happened to be the man hunting you down as you speak.
“Am I scared? Am I scared?” you yell in disbelief, “Hell fucking yeah I’m scared! You just had to rob that bank, didn’t you? Toji, this is insane. We’re going to die, and it’s all because you wanted a little extra cash to blow at some saloon since you’re shit at cards and are always too drunk to make a reasonable gamble!”
His eyes widened at your statement, “I’m just down on my luck that’s all!”
You roll your eyes and continue pacing around the small room, almost internally counting down the minutes until you're inevitably caught and thrown in a cell to rot. Maybe Toji could tough it out in jail (assuming he wasn’t hanged for his crimes), but you knew you weren’t cut out for that kind of life. It’s not like you meant to get caught up in this life, after all. A few bad decisions led to this nightmare of a reality, and now you were about to ride this sinking ship with the buffoon in front of you who was pushing 40 and still thought it was a good idea to devote the little cash he had on reckless gambling instead of caring for the adorable, perpetually scowling son he left behind to pursue a life of crime.
“Don’t give me that look, doll,” his tone is sickly sweet but showing no real affection or warmth. “Don’t forget that you’re an accomplice in this crime too. Who was in the carriage waiting for me when I ran out of the bank with the cash, huh? Oh, that’s right! It was you!”
Running your fingers through your hair, you sit down and rest your head in your hands. “Don’t remind me, asshole,” you spit out, tone equally as harsh. “You think I wanted this? I didn’t know you were gonna do that shit! I owed you a favor- one favor, Toji! What, you think because I owed you one, I wanted to spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder for the most feared sheriff in the west? Believe it or not, but I don’t want to live this way!”
He huffs and sticks a cigar in his mouth, lighting it and letting out a puff of smoke before meeting your eyes again, “Well, tough shit, doll. This is the hand you were dealt, and now you’ve gotta decide whether or not you’re gonna fold.”
You roll your eyes, sensing a migraine coming on. “Shut the fuck up with your poker references, Toji. You’re not good enough at any card game to warrant that kind of talk.”
“Bitch,” he mutters under his breath.
You turn around and are about to rip into him when you hear the sound of incoming horses and a voice call out, “They’re just up ahead!”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Toji curses as he puts out his cigar and stands up hastily. He looks around the room frantically and meets your eyes before darting out of the shared space.
“Fuck! Toji, come back!” you shout as you rush after him. You’re not all that well-versed on running from the police given you’ve literally never had a reason to do so. To say you’re relying on Toji to get you two out of this predicament is an understatement. After all, that man has committed more crimes than interacted with his own son.
Running out of the room and following his footsteps, you exit out the backdoor. Your jaw drops to the ground at the sight in front of you. Toji sat on top of your very own horse, grabbing her by the reins and turning to you with a devilish smirk on his face. “Sorry, doll, I gotta cut ties here. ‘Can’t afford to get caught, you know? I’m sure you understand. Let me borrow your horse, yeah? I owe ya one.”
You can’t even fully process his words, you’re seeing red with the amount of rage consuming you. Frozen in place, you watch Toji ride away on your horse, effectively abandoning the house that was about to be raided by police.
Toji gets a fair distance away from the house before you hear the same voice yell, “There he is! You lot track him down. I’ll stay back and search the rest of the house. He had an accomplice. I’m sure they’re hiding out here somewhere.”
As soon as the man is done speaking, you hear multiple horses run off in Toji’s direction. You’re scared shitless of what’s to come. You just know the man about to search the house is the famous sheriff you had just been professing your fear of to that backstabbing bum who stole your fucking horse. Even though you know you’re thoroughly, laughably, undeniably fucked, you can’t help but laugh internally at the thought of Toji being captured by the sheriff’s men. You hope they don’t hurt your horse, although you doubt she’ll be yours much longer since you’re about to be sent off to jail.
Cutting your losses and acknowledging defeat, you walk back into the house, ready to face the renowned sheriff. Walking back into the kitchen, your footsteps alert the man of your location, and he makes his way into the room.
If you weren’t scared out of your mind at what’s to come, you might have started drooling, honestly. If this man weren’t known for his near superhuman abilities, he would have been known for his looks alone. You had never seen or even heard about a man that looked like him. He had bright white hair that peaked out from his hat. His skin was so fair and beautiful you swore he was made of porcelain. His lips were a pretty pink that somehow had a glimmering shine to them. He wore black denim with a black button up, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, exposing his large hands and delectable arm veins. For a reason unknown to you, he wore a blindfold over his eyes. You could only wonder what his eyes looked like, although you imagined they were as beautiful as the rest of him.
He looked unreal. This whole situation felt unreal. You still hadn’t wrapped your head around the fact that you were about to be arrested let alone the fact that you were standing in a room with a man that looked like that.
“Well, well,” Gojo chuckles, “Here I was thinking Toji’s accomplice had to be some ugly brute with a tobacco addiction. But here you are instead.”
You rocked on the balls of your feet out of nerves, “I- I’m sorry to disappoint.”
He laughs fully this time. “And a sense of humor, too? What did Toji do to get you roped into this in the first place, huh?”
Your eyes widen slightly at this. It’s like he could see right through you. Was it that obvious that you didn’t live a life of crime? You suppose it’s times like this where your naturally expressive face and body language actually benefited you, as Gojo must have known about the true nature of your involvement just by the way you reacted to his presence.
“I, um…” you tried to pick your words in a way that made you look the least guilty of committing a crime. “I only agreed to help him since I owed him a favor…”
This seemed to pique Gojo’s interest. “Oh? And what did the lying, deceitful, manipulative, gambling addict do to earn a favor from a pretty girl like you?”
Your face flushes when you process his words. Warranted and accurate insults about Toji aside, the human embodiment of perfection called you pretty.
You must have been frozen in place for a second or two because when you blink again, Gojo is standing closer to you and leaning inward, “Are you with me, sweetheart?”
Eyes widening, you nod your head vigorously and elicit another chuckle from the man.
“Well,” you sigh after being able to mentally calm yourself, “he helped my family in a tough situation. My mother was very sick, and Toji just so happened to have the proper remedies to heal her…”
Although you can’t see his eyes, you can tell that Gojo raises his eyebrows in curiosity, and his silence prompts you to continue.
“Believe me, I never wanted to help him out. Or, at least, when I agreed to help him, I had no idea he was gonna drag me into this mess. But I couldn’t just walk around my house and pass by my mother without thinking that, if it weren’t for that lunatic, she wouldn’t be with us anymore.”
Gojo hums and brings his hand to his chin as if in thought. “I bet your family would be pretty disappointed to see you now though, right? Doing all this for your mother is admirable, but you still committed a crime… What kind of sheriff would I be if I just let you off the hook because you told me some sob story and batted your eyelashes at me, hm?”
You didn’t know how to react to his words. Sure, he’s right, your family would be disappointed to see you in this position. You’d never gotten into any sort of trouble before- certainly never done anything illegal.
“You thought you owed a simple favor, sure… But last time I checked, the pathway to heaven wasn’t paved with good intentions.” he tuts. “But jail time seems a little harsh, no? What do you think we can do to solve this little problem?”
Your heart is beating so hard that you wonder if Gojo could hear it from where he stood. “Please, I’ll do anything. I’ve never broken the law before, and I can’t afford to leave my family and go to jail.”
“Anything, huh?” Gojo smirks and pulls down his blindfold to reveal the most striking, beautiful eyes you had ever seen in all your life. “Well, how could I turn down an offer like that?”
You almost didn’t even process his words since you were so stunned by his eyes. In your entire life, you had never seen such a bright, beautiful, magnificent shade of blue. You had seen blue eyes before, sure. But, like the rest of his appearance, his eyes looked mythical.
“Quiet all of a sudden, huh? No ideas for your substitute form of punishment?” The young sheriff walks around you like a shark circling its prey before the bloody, inevitable attack. “You’re in luck, sweetheart, because I’ve got just the perfect penance for ya.”
Before you could get out a word, he’s behind you and pulling you flush against his firm chest. You let out a soft squeak at the sudden sensation and move to bring your hand to your mouth to prevent any other embarrassing noises from spilling out. Gojo notices your timid movement and quickly wraps an arm around you.
“Nuh uh,” he says in a sing-song tone, “part of your punishment is letting me hear all those pretty little noises of yours, do you understand?”
You nod repeatedly in acknowledgement and remain stiff in his hold, unsure of how to react next. You weren’t entirely dumb. Were you dumb enough to help Toji commit a crime? Yes. But you weren’t so dumb that you didn’t understand what Gojo was hinting at with his little punishment “substitution”. The thought was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. If you had a stronger constitution, you might have just denied Gojo and accepted jail time instead. But, here you were, helpless in his arms and doing your damnedest to keep from embarrassing yourself any further.
Gojo runs his free hand from the top of your shoulder all the way down to your hips. “Such a soft, dainty thing, aren’t ya? Caught up in all of this and so, so desperate for a way out… It’s no wonder why Toji played with you like the toy you are…”
You shiver in his hold.
“You see, my eyes can be quite sensitive. But now that my blindfold is off…” he leans in closer and inhales against your neck, taking in your sweet scent that he could practically smell the nerves radiating from. “I’ve got a better view of this pretty, little toy. And I’m just dying to play with her.”
He removes the arm from around your waist and begins to unbutton your flannel at a leisurely pace that has you both shaking in your boots (quite literally) while also wishing he’d hurry up and just rip the shirt open completely.
“Never wanted Toji to…” you pause, embarrassed to finish your sentence.
Gojo continues to undress you and just hums against your neck while his long fingers continue their work. “Never wanted Toji to… what, sweetheart?”
You swallow, “Never wanted Toji to… to play with me.”
The young sheriff raises his eyebrows and sports his signature smirk, “Oh, is that so? Does that mean you want me to play with you?”
Clearing your throat, you nod once more, “I’m just trying to follow the law, sir.”
He laughs at that and finally pulls your shirt open and off your body, revealing your bra-clad chest. “Follow the law, huh? Is that what they call it nowadays?” He removes your shirt altogether and undoes the clasp of your bra with almost concerning expertise. “Well, better late than never, I suppose. Maybe you’ve learnt your lesson already… Although, I better punish you further to make sure you don’t forget- just in case.”
Once your torso is completely bare, Gojo spins you around and crashes his lips onto yours. You let out a gasp, and Gojo’s tongue uses the involuntary noise as an invitation to push into your awaiting mouth.
You’ve kissed your fair share of men before, though most were drunken kisses at saloons that you almost immediately regretted. Kissing Gojo was unlike anything you had ever experienced- practically everything about him was a foreign sensation, honestly. His lips alone had you feeling like you were vibrating, and the faint taste of strawberries on the tall man’s lips left you just as breathless as the kiss made you feel.
He brings his large hands to your hair and tugs against the strands, making you moan deeper into the kiss. His lips are hungry against yours, and he eats up each and every sound you make from the smallest of whimpers to the sudden gasps.
You reluctantly pull back for the kiss and look him in the eye, half-lidded and hazy already. “May I… touch you too?” you ask timidly. You’re hoping more than anything he’ll say yes since your fingers are itching to feel even more of him against your skin.
His lips turn upward slowly, and he removes his hands from your hair. You let out a whine at the loss of contact, but he quickly grabs your hands and brings them to his chest. “Look at you, all polite and obedient. Better late than never, huh?”
He pulls you back into a searing kiss and you move your hands freely along his toned body. He might as well be made of marble with how firm he feels beneath you. When you bring your hands to his hair and run your fingers along the nape of his neck, he groans and brings his hands down to cup your ass which elicits a whine from you.
He pulls away this time and before you have time to complain, your breath is taken away by the sight in front of you. He pulls open his shirt and quickly removes his belt. Once the belt is off his waist, he pulls it apart with both hands making a snapping noise. His gaze falls to your hands and you wordlessly offer them to the sheriff. He makes quick work binding your wrists with the fabric. “Just like the handcuffs I’ll save for Toji,” he grins and unbuttons his pants. “On your knees for me, honey.”
You fall to the floor, too hungry for him to worry about looking desperate. He chuckles at your reaction and pushes his pants and boxers down in one movement. His cock springs up and slaps his toned stomach.
Although your sexual experience was next to nothing, you knew that Gojo’s cock had to be the prettiest one in the world. You didn’t even need to see another man’s physique to make that conclusion. Hell, you were never the overtly sexual type, but Gojo’s cock basically had you drooling.
He laughs at your hungry expression. “See something ya like, sweetheart?”
You nod quickly at his question which draws another chuckle from him. “Well, don’t keep me waiting then. Open that mouth of yours and let’s see if it’s as good at sucking me off as it is at getting you out of trouble.”
You eagerly dive in and wrap your lips around the head of his cock.
Fuck. He tastes as good as he looks.
Moaning at the flavor on your tongue, you continue to suck on the tip as if it were your favorite candy. He groans at the sensation but breathes out, “I know you can do better than that, pretty girl. You don’t wanna end up in jail, do you?”
Your eyes widen at the statement, and you quickly take him deeper in your mouth. Bobbing your head quickly, you try to take as much of him in your mouth as you can. No matter how much you hollow your cheeks or hold your breath, you can’t manage to fit him all in your mouth.
How could you? He’s massive.
To say he’s bigger than any man you had ever been with before doesn’t do justice to how large his cock is. Even when you force him in your mouth to the best of your ability, you’re not even halfway down his length. Every now and then, you keep wanting to reach up and wrap your hands around him before you remember they’re restrained by his belt.
That doesn’t keep you from sucking as if your life depended on it- which it pretty much does.
Gojo pulls your hair back in a makeshift ponytail and pushes your head down deeper. “Come on, sweets. Take it allll the way.”
You choke around his cock and tears well up in your eyes. Gojo begins to fuck into your mouth and groans loudly, the sounds echoing throughout the empty house. You really wish Gojo would have taken off your pants before you began sucking him off since you feel the increasing discomfort of wetness between your legs confined by denim.
“Between you and me,” Gojo huffs between moans as he picks up his pace, “I’m glad that Toji didn’t get to see you like this. A dick like him doesn’t deserve a mouth like yours.”
Your eyes roll back at his comment. Desperate for some relief, you rub your thighs together and hope that the friction will alleviate some of the pressure. The young sheriff notices your movement and scoffs. “Didn’t your mama ever teach you some manners? Rubbing those thighs together like some common whore at the saloon?”
You let out a muffled whine at the comment. His words go straight to your cunt and only make you wetter than you already were. He laughs again as if he could sense the impact his words had on you.
The tears in your eyes begin to spill down your cheeks as the speed of his hips increases even more. “Is that tight little throat of yours ready, sweetheart?”
You try your best to nod despite his massive cock ramming into your open mouth. His breath quickens before he groans loudly and hot cum shoots down your throat. You can help but moan at the sensation too. Your jaw was sore, but the taste of him was definitely worth the discomfort.
“Ah, ah, ah,” Gojo tuts, “Don’t swallow just yet, pretty. Let me see that mouth I just filled.”
Looking up at him with wide eyes, you show him the contents of your mouth and frantically bring your fingers to your lips when some of his cum begins to dribble down your chin. Gojo chuckles at the sight and gently closes your mouth. “Go ahead and swallow every drop, sweetheart. You’ve earned it,” he smirks.
You greedily swallow the salty substance and even open your mouth again to show him you had done what he asked.
“You really are a good girl, aren’t you?” Gojo smiles. “But we’re not through with your punishment just yet, pretty. Up against the counter.”
You clumsily rise from the floor and stumble to the counter. Your eagerness makes the man laugh. Once against the hard surface, Gojo bends you over and reaches around to unbutton your pants. Your efforts to contain your excitement don’t go unnoticed by the sheriff as he catches you rubbing your thighs together once more which just makes his cock grow hard once more.
When he finally pushes down your pants and panties to the floor, he stares at your pussy for what feels like ages. Instinctively, you begin to close your thighs out of shyness. “Oh, no you don’t, sweetheart.” He firmly shoves your legs apart once more. “You’re gonna stay nice and still while I play with this pretty pussy. And if you wanna be a brat instead, then I’d be more than happy to give you this punishment down at the station. Would you and this soaking cunt like an audience?”
“No! No, I’m sorry,” you speak quickly, “I’m just not used to men…touching me there.”
Gojo quirks an eyebrow in confusion, “You mean that no man has ever done… this?” He runs a digit against your folds and you squeak at the feeling.
“Or… how about this?” Gojo licks a long stipe up your cunt that has you squealing involuntarily. You shake your head as heat rises to your cheeks. The sheriff hums at the revelation.
A pretty little slut like you hasn’t had her equally pretty pussy played with before?
It must be his lucky day.
“Guess you’re in for a treat then, darlin.” Gojo dives right in with his tongue, and you’re unable to conceal your loud moans even if you tried. The way he flicks his tongue against your clit has you practically seeing stars. None of your past sexual partners had ever taken the time to prioritize your pleasure. And after so many disappointing hookups, you ultimately gave up on sex altogether.
But this changed everything.
The way his tongue sucked and licked your sopping pussy was nothing short of magic. You had no idea you could even feel this good until now. Gojo’s tongue against your cunt made up for every underwhelming hookup you had ever had. And now that you know what it feels like, you’re hooked.
“Fuck,” you whine, “That feels so fucking good. Please don’t stop, sheriff.”
The man hums against your pussy and suddenly pushes a finger inside you. You cry out a wanton moan at the sensation and barely have time to adjust before he shoves another digit inside. The two fingers piston in and out of you at a rapid pace. Gojo pulls away from your pussy and you whimper at the loss.
“My, what a dirty mouth you’ve got,” Gojo teases. “Maybe I’ll have to fuck that mouth of yours again just to clean it.”
You instinctively tighten around his fingers over his comment and he emits a loud laugh. “Your cunt is so honest. You don’t even have to speak, because this pretty pussy talks for herself.”
He removes both fingers from you and instead uses them to rub your clit as he shoves his tongue back into your pussy once more. The coupled sensation of his fingers and his tongue has your eyes rolling back and your hands balling tightly into fists.
Finally snapping out of your daze and able to speak, you whine out, “I’m so close, Gojo. Please let me cum.”
Gojo pulls away for just a second to command, “Cum all over my tongue like the dirty whore I know you are.”
Your scream rings throughout the house as your climax crashes upon you. Your legs are shaking so badly that you almost collapse, and it feels as if electricity is in your veins with the buzz you feel.
Barely comprehensive, you whimper as Gojo removes his tongue and fingers. Although you can barely stand and would undoubtedly fall to the floor if he continued his attack on your pussy, you already missed the feeling more than you’d like to admit.
When you finally snap out of your orgasmic daze, you feel Gojo pressed against your backside.
Fuck.
If Gojo felt big in your mouth, he felt fucking gigantic against your pussy. It’d be like ramming a train through a keyhole. But even though you knew he’d fuck you within an inch of your life, you felt more arousal trickle down legs just at the thought of it.
He grabbed your hips firmly and lined up the head of his cock against your lips. Dragging his cock up and down your slit, he spread your arousal.
“Please no teasing,” you beg. “If I have to wait any longer, I’m gonna lose my mind.”
Gojo clicks his tongue, “If I weren’t just as eager to fuck this tight little pussy, I’d give you another punishment for being so damn bratty and impatient.”
Clenching his jaw, he slowly pushes the tip in and hisses at the feeling on your warm walls. You can’t help but gasp at the penetration. He’s only stuck the tip in, yet it feels huge.
After only a moment of keeping the tip within your heat, he all but shoves the rest of his cock inside your weeping pussy. Gojo leans over your back and groans in your ear and you all but scream at the intrusion.
Before you have time to catch your breath, Gojo begins jackhammering into your cunt at a brutal pace. Tears quickly form in your eyes and drool spills from your lips. He’s just began fucking you and you’re already cockdrunk.
“Jesus fucking christ,” He moans loudly. “How are you so fucking tight?”
You’re unable to form words as he pistons his hips. The sound of skin slapping against skin fills the house, and you have no doubt that people would be able to hear you all the way from the end of the street. His grunts and groans harmonize with your moans and whimpers.
He uses one hand to gather your hair and pulls you against his chest. “This is supposed to be a punishment, but look at you,” Gojo grunts. “You’re loving this. You may look the part, but that good girl routine is all an act. Once a whore, always a whore.”
All you can do is whine at his words, unable to form words to respond with. Gojo laughs at the dumb look on your face.
“What’s that saying? “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time”. And, honey?” Gojo says between moans. “I’m gonna enjoy taking my time with you.”
Beyond what you thought possible, his thrusts increase in their intensity. He’s hitting spots you didn’t even know existed. To say you feel him in your guts doesn’t even come close to describing the sensation. All you know was that you had never felt so full in your entire life.
“Gojo!” you cry out after a particularly rough thrust.
The man smiles with a crazed look in his eye. “Oh? Pretty girl can talk now? I must not be fucking you hard enough then.”
He reaches his hand around your waist and begins furiously rubbing little circles on your clit which has you screaming at the top of your lungs. Your brain was fried at this point. All you could think about was Gojo, Gojo, Gojo…
In your fucked out haze, you tried to maintain your hold on the counter since your legs were going to give out any second now (and Gojo’s grip on your hair was the main source holding you up). The counter top beneath you was covered in your tears and drool, and your bound hands could hardly get a grip on the surface.
Gojo just continued his aggressive pace as he clenched your hair tightly in his hand. “The idea of Toji trying to get a piece of you just makes me sick,” He spits out. “As if a pathetic criminal like him deserves to feel this cunt.”
Even though nothing romantic or sexual ever transpired between you or Toji, Gojo practically saw red at the mere thought of the older man ever touching you. Though your paths hadn’t crossed officially until this point, Gojo can’t imagine any other man laying a hand on you. Insanely enough, he sped up the speed of his fingers in jealously over the hypothetical situation.
“G-Gojo, I can’t-” you attempted to string together words. “S’too much.”
He coos in mock sympathy, “Aw, baby can’t take it?”
You just whine in response, so out of your mind with how deep he is inside of you.
“Well, that’s too bad, sweetheart,” He grunts. “Because this lesson’s not over with just yet.”
Unable to keep your head up, you let it slump down as far as Gojo’s grip on your hair will allow. And just when you think (as much as you even can think with him pummeling his cock in and out of your pussy) the feeling couldn’t get any stronger, Gojo’s tip hits that one spot that has you seeing stars.
“Oh, my god! Fuck, Gojo!” you sob. “Fuck, fuck, I can’t take anymore! I’m gonna cum!”
He continues to ram against your G-spot over and over again until you’re sure your brain is melting. “Go ahead and cum all over cock. Be a good slut for me and show me that you’ve learnt your lesson.”
When the coil in your stomach breaks, you scream at the top of your lungs and squirt all over Gojo’s cock, soaking both of your jeans. You don’t even get a second to recollect the broken pieces of your brain because Gojo continues to fuck you like it’s his last day on Earth.
“Fuck, did you just soak my jeans, sweetheart?” He half laughs, half groans. Quickly approaching his climax too, he clenches his jaw and furrows his eyebrows. “I’m gonna fill you up, and you’ll tell me what you learnt from this punishment as my cum is dripping out of you.”
His words go in one ear and out the other. All his words sound like gibberish to you. You feel like you’re going to pass out if he continues at this rate.
Gojo swears and his hips stammer before he shoots ribbons of cum into your tight pussy. You swear you feel your stomach begin to bloat with the amount he gives you.
Your body goes limp against Gojo’s, and he holds you up before you collapse. You both whine when he pulls out, and he watches in awe as his cum trickles out of your messy cunt and runs down your shaking legs.
You’re still on cloud 9 (no, you’re on cloud 100 at this point), and to say your vision is blurry is an understatement. No amount of booze at the saloon could have you drunk like this.
“Gojo,” you practically slur.
Still out of breath, he manages to laugh at your thoroughly fucked out state, “I know, sweetheart, I know. Look at that cunt, all pretty and sloppy with my cum. Whatta sight for sore eyes…”
He turns you around to face him and holds on to your weakened form.
“Now,” he begins. “What did you learn from your punishment?”
He could have asked you for your own name and you wouldn’t know the answer. He might as well have filled your skull with cum the way not a single thought was swimming around in your brain.
“I…sorry…” you stutter in confusion. “And Toji…”
Gojo sighs condescendingly. Even though he asked the question, he knew you’d never be able to answer. That was the goal all along.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart… But that wasn’t the answer I was looking for,” Gojo sighs with a mocking pout to match yours. He pulls you closer and you snap out of your daze with widened eyes as you feel his hardened cock once more. “I guess I’ll just have to teach the lesson again.”

details:
Chrysalis represents generosity specifically because of how she's selfish on behalf of her friends. she's absolutely willing to dupe other people and manipulate them if she thinks it'll help out anyone in the squad, even if the fallout could be cataclysmic. This has led to a really bad reputation following her around, and though its not really unprecedented, her friends still keep her around as she means well. It's a bit hard training her out of fawning over other people to try and make them stay, but she just wants everyone well-fed and happy.
Stygian has the loyalty blessing because he's the real ride or die. He would rather physically staple himself to his friends than possibly lose them, especially since he was subject to losing a friend group in the past which left him deserted at a really bad time. Meeting Tempest around that time was the only thing that kept him going, and now he's fiercely protective of his new friend group.
Spike is laughter because I love him. puppy power
Tempest gets honesty because she's extremely blunt, even though sometimes its to the point of insulting, she genuinely just wants communication to be established at any cost. Her straightforward attitude is very effective at stopping Chryssie's schemes and keeping Stygian grounded, and she doesn't mind being an anchor for the team, especially since she used to be team captain on her volleyball team before she lost her arm. The sense of "these people need me" helps anchor her as much as it anchors them.
Sombra can be exceedingly kind, showering people in gifts and lavish trips, assisting them in whatever programs they're in, and he's more than willing to put the effort in and sacrifice things of his own if it means his friends will benefit from it - but it stops there. His kindness is wonderful only to those in his close circle, and most importantly, to Twilight.
though their dynamic sometimes isn't the healthiest, they're all recovering from friendship issues of their own - some done to them, some because of what THEY did to others - and Twilight's the precious sun they seem to rotate around, as being a shut-in only focusing on her studies has given her zero inclination to have any sort of preconceived notions of other people. For friends with a bad past they're trying to work through, its incredibly refreshing, and they would rather die than lose her.
even more additional details:
Sombra collects pretty minerals, and wears a lot of jewelry as a result. He often compares Twilight to precious stones and seems smug about dating her.
Tempest and Stygian are room mates, but they're not dating, sharing a purely platonic relationship. (Stygian is gay and Tempest is a lesbian. they're each other's beards, basically)
Chryssie lives in an apartment Sombra pays the rent to, but only under the agreement that she stop dating people just to raid their houses. It's worked so far, at least according to CCTV footage
once the magic Twilight absorbed disperses into the team, giving them magic, Spike gets dragon attributes along with being able to talk. This means sometimes he eats Sombra's fancy gemstones and there's absolutely nothing he can do about it because if he yells at his gf's dog/little brother he'll get smacked. Sombra is in hell but everyone else loves it
#twibra#mlp fim#my art#basically they're a frankengroup of friends who were kicked out of other friend groups#so they've become more powerful than u can imagine

I was looking through your re zero reblogs and a tag stood out to me. What do you mean you think Otto is a manifestation of Satella? I’m really intrigued by the concept
Ohh! Thank you for the question. So this is a pet theory of mine which is probably wrong but I find incredibly entertaining. Beware this is going to be long and rambley. The TL;DR is probably: the only person who is as obsessed with Subaru as Otto is, is Satella It tries to explain several things that I find weird about Otto (some of these things might be explained in the LN but Tappeis writing style doesn't click with me and so i'm really slow with reading them) :
a) Ottos sudden entry in Subarus story (and the fact that Subaru always meets him no matter what he does) the first time he meets Otto at a pub because Otto made a financial mistake and drank his sadness away. This one's fairly unsuspicious. The second time is stranger. Subaru is going back to the mansion alone in the darkness and meets Otto on the road. Not only that. Otto is standing near the light and waves. Like he was expecting him. Why? Does he do that often - wave to travelers who are just passing by? But the most suspicious entry is his last/permanent entry to the story - his getting saved from the witch cult. Why did the witch cult kidnapp him an no one else? Why did they plan to sacrifice him? Why wasn't he with the rest of the merchants? Suuuuus!!! This at least hints that Otto might have connections/significance to the witch cult
2) why does the whale eat him and not Subaru? Subaru should have smelled tastier so why did it chose Otto? Maybe because Otto smelled of the witch? And if Otto knew that the Mabeast would go after him it would paint his pushing Subaru of the cart in a different light.
3) he's not in roswaals gospel which even has Subaru in it. How/why? Is it really just because he's so insignificant?
So these things make Otto suspicious but they don't link him to Satella necessarily. So here comes my reason for that
3) Otto's behavior in Season 2 don't make sense. Not only is he ride or die for Subaru very very fast while the other is basically nothing but rude to him. He explains this with Subaru saving him but technically that were the iron fang people and Otto isn't thankful to them at all. And even if that were the case - why is Otto so sure that Subaru needs help? As far as I remember he offers Subaru help in every single time loop, even in the ones where Subaru still believes himself to be on top of things (and shouldn't send sadboy pleas help me vibes)
4) And than there is the speech which will save Subaru. And I find it quite suspicious: a) this speech is suspiciously parallel to Satellas speech in the witches tea party it kinda feels like a continuation of it
b) Otto says that he understands that Subaru wants to be strong in front of the girl he likes and in front of the girl that likes him but he shouldn't have to be strong in front of his friend. So the girl Subaru likes is obv. Emilia but why talk about another girl who likes Subaru... who is that supposed to be? Otto doesn't know about Rem. Does he mean Emilia again? But why say it that strangely - or was he just covering his bases. IDK for me it kinda made sense as a Emilia/Satella distinction (or if Otto DOES know about Rem that makes him really suspicious again)
C) Otto takes it very personally that Subaru didn't ask HIM for help. But why should Subaru do that. He technically knows him for what, a few days?
D) Subaru notes that this kind of speech is usually reserved for the heroine (something he also mentioned about being summoned to another world and we know that was Satella - so is that the case here too?)
5) Otto has a lot of parallels to Subaru/Satella has a lot of parallels to Subaru
So all of this could hint to the fact that Otto is a time traveler and/or has some connection to one of the witches (either Pandora or Satella)
But I like my theory of Otto being a manifestation of Satella because it fits neatly into the theme of the parallels between Satella/ Subaru, it is something Satella would do, the thought that Satella sees Subaru dying over and over again and just says: okay have to do everything myself. If he won't accept help if I'm a woman I gotta go in as a guy is extremely funny to me, I believe that being kinda pathetic is an important property of being associated with envy AND Otto is next to Satella the person who most obsesses over Subaru and only Subaru
And Satella could rewrite history if she needed to (that would explain Otto's memories)

Chainsaw Man ch.40-47
🎶Pu-ma man/ When will he find love? (Pu-ma man)🎶
We have now reached the Reze arc, which is the longest one thus far. I get a sense of importance from this one, although it kind of repeats a lot of the same situations we've seen before.
Last time, Makima took Denji out on a date, and reassured him that he does indeed have a heart. Denji's been riding that high ever since, because it's been troubling him for a while now that he might be losing his sense of empathy and other emoitons, but apparently all he needed was Makima to tell him "nuh-uh" and he's fine.
On his way home, it starts raining, and he takes shelter inside a... well, it looks kind of like one of those covered bus stop benches, except it's much smaller, like it's only meant for one person. Then a woman ducks inside with him and she starts laughing, then crying. She says it's because Denji's face reminds her of her recently deceased pet dog.
Denji donated money to some charity collection on the street, and they gave him a flower in return, so he gives this to the woman to cheer her up. Well, he pretends to cough it up from his mouth. On the first reading, I thought he had actually swallowed it, because I wouldn't put it past him.
When the rain lets up, she invites him to the coffee shop where she works so she can thank him properly sometime, and he has nothing better to do so he just heads straight there. He actually makes it in before she does, but she's happy to see him so she just buys him a coffee and sits with him, even though she's supposed to be waiting tables.
So it's basically what we've seen before with Makima and Himeno. Denji meets a girl who acts nice to him, and he immediately falls in love with her. The only real twist this time is that he decided after the date with Makima that he's devoting himself to here, so now he's falling for this girl, Reze, and he feels like he's in a love triangle now.
And what makes this internal conflict so sad is that neither girl actually cares about him the way he thinks. We'll get to Reze later, but I think it's pretty clear that Makima is just stringing Denji along to fulfill some greater plan she has. She told him from the start that he was her pet, and she spends time with him and tells him reassuring things, but only enough to ensure his continued loyalty and good behavior. I can't prove it, but at the same time it seems incredibly obvious.
Let's check in on... ugh... Aki. All the Devil Hunters in Public Safety work in pairs, and Aki's current "Buddy" is the Angel Devil. I thought the Angel Devil was a girl, but turns out I was wrong. Denji thought the same thing too, so I guess I'm not the only one.
Aki loathes Devils on principle, since he considers them the enemy, and he only tolerates them in Public Safety as tools and weapons for hunting down other devils. He doesn't want this assignment, but Makima orders him to do it, because she believes the Angel Devil will prove useful. She told Aki he doesn't have to like the guy, but he does need to at least pretend to get along with him.
But Aki can't even manage that. Angel Devil doesn't really want to do anything. He's considered to be friendly towards humans, at least by devil standards, but he doesn't like being forced to work for Public Safety, and when Aki reminds him that he'll be killed if he doesn't do a good job, Angel Devil concludes that he'd rather die, honestly.
Also, there's a scene where they find a half-digested Devil Hunter inside a devil Aki killed, and Aki asks Angel Devil to use his powers to give the poor guy a painless death, and Angel Devil refuses to do even that, so Aki has to do it himself. So yeah, these two seem to be completely irreconcilable. Aki resented Denji and Power for their unprofessional personalities, but at least they could follow orders.
This is the part of the program where I usually rag on Aki for being a total chump who just lets the plot passively wash over him like a turd in a sewer, but this arc actually goes somewhere with him, so that's a fun thing to look forward to.
Back to Denji, he keeps coming back to the same cafe to see Reze, and when she finds out he never went to school or learned to read, she suggests that they sneak into a school in the middle of the night so she can show him what it's like. Or, I don't know, maybe Japanese schools leave their doors unlocked at night, so this is a popular dating activity.
Reze tries to convince Denji that it's kind of fucked up that he never got to go to school, and that seems to stress him out, so she takes him to the pool and offers to teach him how to swim. She also convinces him to skinny dip, since it's too dark out for them to really see all the nudity.
But then it starts raining, and they go back inside to wait for it to let up. Reze excuses herself to use the restroom, when...
... She runs into this guy, who chases her up to the roof of the school. His exact deal is never made clear, but he's got a contract with the Typhoon Devil, who wants the Chainsaw's heart. He's apparently had experience with these kinds of jobs, and he's had success using targets' loved ones against them. So his plan here is to take Reze captive and use her as bait for Denji.
This doesn't work out the way he expected, as Reze turns out to be more formidable than he expected. She gets behind him and applies a rear naked choke. Then she just starts singing in Russian while he dies. The song is apparently called "Jane Fell Asleep In the Church", and it's also the title of Chapter 43, where this scene takes place. When I google the song, all I find are Chainsaw Man references, including fans asking if this was a real song or something Tatsuki Fujimoto invented for this story.
Once she's finished with that, Reze confronts the Typhoon Devil, accusing him of causing this rain that forced her and Denji back into the school. Typhoon apologizes profusely, as he had no idea she was involved here, but she offers to excuse him if she assists her from here on. Also, she wants him to dispose of the guy she just killed. How do these two even know each other?
Reze says nothing to Denji about the incident on the roof, and invites him to a festival. As they watch fireworks, she asks him to run away with her so he can get out of the Devil Hunter life, but he refuses. His job is going very well lately, and he doesn't want to give that up. This is significant because up until now Denji just appreciated his job for the food and shelter he got out of it, but now he seems to feel a sense of attachment to Public Safety, and not just because he thinks his boss will have sex with him later.
I guess what I'm saying here is that Denji seems to have developed an appreciation for his career in the abstract sense. He's good at the work, and he takes some professional pride out of it, and he feels recognized for his efforts. Reze's whole argument for leaving is that he should be in school and getting more out of life than the bare minimum, but that kind of backfires, because her saying that forces Denji to realize that he already has more than the bare minimum. He just hadn't been thinking of it that way because his ambitions were so low.
Reze concludes that Denji must like someone else, so she goes in for a kiss, maybe to say goodbye, and then...
She... bites off the end of his tongue? I mean, that's creepy as fuck, but wha--? Denji realizes he's under attack, but she he goes to pull his rip cord, Reze pulls a knife and lops off his left hand. What are knives made of in this world?
I guess this is an effective enough way to take down Denji. I mean, he can't transform and he can't call for help, but still, if Reze's trying to kill this guy, you'd think she would have gone for the hands first. I guess I shouldn't tell her how to do her job. Her boss at the cafe keep scolding her, but she got Denji to come back several days in a row for lunch, so she clearly knows how to draw customers. Whom am I to tell her how to kill people.
But she forgot one thing: Denji's assigned buddy, Beam, the Shark Fiend. We met this guy in the last arc, and Makima paired these two off while she was having Power's excess blood drained off. Beam's powers allow him to swim through solid materials, and in fact he was nearby most of the time, trailing Denji discreetly by swimming in the road. When this arc begins, we see the fin on his head following Denji, and he even pops up and Denji chews him out for revealing himself. For whatever reason, Beam seems fanatically devoted to "Lord Chainsaw", and so when Denji ordered him to keep a low profile, he obeyed. And so he kept such a low profile that Reze never noticed he was around until now.
So Reze escalates things by pulling the ring on her choker, which turns out to be a grenade pin? Uh-oh.
So what is this? Bomb Woman? Bomb Devil? Bomb Fiend? What's weird is that a lot of these characters have the same basic concept for their powers, but there's all these unique explanations for how they got this way. Beam and Chainsaw Man look a like, but Beam is a Shark Devil who inhabited a corpse, while Chainsaw Man is the result of Denji merging with Pochita. Angel Devil isn't merged with any humans at all, live or dead, but he just happens to look like a human.
So Reze could be any of these things, or something else entirely, and I think the answer is going to turn out to be "something else entirely". I just noticed her apron thing is covered in sticks of dynamite, so that's pretty badass.
So from here, it's a pretty standard Chainsaw Man battle. Reze quickly catches up with Beam, who tries to defend his "lord", but he's hopelessly outmatched. The only reason he manages to escape with Denji is that some civilian Devil Hunters from the festival notice all the exploisions and come to deal with her. But she's a lot stronger than the devils they're used to fighting, so she makes short work of them. Still, it's enough time for Beam to escape to...
... Well, I don't know where this is, actually. It's some facility used by Public Safety, and Aki happens to be there, so when Beam shows up with Denji and claims to be with the Special Division they get Aki to vouch for them.
Beam can barely speak, but he reports that "Bomb" is an ally of the Gun Devil. Aki wants to know how he could know this, but Beam says Makima made him promise not to answer this.
Reze isn't far behind, and she tries to use her human form to trick Public Safety into siding with her against Beam, but it doesn't work. Two of their guys try to hold her off while Aki and Angel take Beam and Denji away in a car.
So these guys have power to infect a target with mold or something, which seems to stymie Reze for a bit, but then she removes her own head and tosses it into the building like a grenade. That's pretty wild, but we're not done.
I think all of that must have just been a diversion, because the actual Reze is already inside the building, and she attacks the good guys while they're still dealing with the exploding head thing. Also, the body that tossed the head is still active. It runs into the building and also explodes.
There's a fight in the buildng, but I think you already knew how that was gonna go. All the important characters are in the car, and before long Reze intercepts them and shows off the heads of two of the guys she killed, just to make a point. She offers to spare Aki and the others if they surrender Denji, but she's not going to be stopped.
Aki refuses, though, and makes a break for it, and then some other Pubic Safety Special Division guys show up to help. Aki must have called them during his flight from the building. Violence Devil tries to beat her up, but she's too strong, so he runs away.
Next up is Kobeni, who... curls up in a fetal position and begs for mercy. Good hustle, Kobeni.
I'll give them this, they survived the engagement, and they bought time for Aki to put some more distance between Reze and Denji. The whole time, he's got Beam and Angel feeding their blood to Denji, but he's running out of options. She catches up to them pretty quickly, but he can't call for more help, and he refuses to surrender Denji. He talks about ramming her with the car, but seriously, what good would that do?
But then something tears out of the car, and it's...
Chainsaw Man! He's back, and this time, it's personal. Aki warns him that he's still too weak for a fight, but I don't know about that. Denji never had a chance to go one-on-one with Reze before, because he didn't know she was the enemy until it was too late. Also, Denji's pissed because every woman he meets is only interested in him for the "Chainsaw heart", but what about his heart?
Reze tries to feign affection for him as a diversion, but Aki keeps Denji on point. Hey, look at Aki making himself useful for a change.
So then they get ready to fight, and I gotta say, this looks pretty awesome. Reze's got a really cool design, and I like how this grudge between them has been set up. She betrayed him completely, and he's really ticking her off because this was supposed to be a stealth mission, and now she's fighting the entire Public Safety team in the middle of the city.
But we're out of time, so we'll have to pick this up in the next installment. Don'cha dare miss it!

hey babes :) i'd love to hear your input if you're so inclined: to this day i chew on the question how and who mulder would be after the show's finale. what would be his natural progression, a way to grow and be content? fatherhood sure, but would he ever be just that - not a seeker, finder, investigator ...? it's "all he's ever known" and scully's "put it in a book" in iwtb rings hollow to me, like a reduction; folding that complicated person into a tiny box, neat like that abhorrent house of hers in the revival. do either of them really know what's best for the other? duchovny said they'll always be out there searching, it's their purpose. many fans would disagree, would see them domesticated, give them their happy ending; how would that look for either of them? and how for them together? any thoughts? :)
hey baby. i was scrolling my jackson tag looking for revival posts i've written in the past that may help me collect my thoughts on this, and found an old tag that just said "they have to be monster hunting or baby raising they can't just hang out," which seems so fitting lol. and i do love this about them...that they always want to be searching, or building, and how it turns into creating. it turns into desire, even for things that don't make sense.
mulder is always motivated by something very clear, something defined in the very beginning, "nothing else matters to me." and scully is always clearly defined by faith in it, "i didn't believe you, but i followed you." and one of the difficulties of this model is that it can't stay forever. it's like duchovny joking that he thought signing on for the pilot would be easy, that logistically the show would never last, because you can't search forever. you can't hide forever. eventually, there have to be answers. there have to be findings, there have to be conclusions.
and i think that's where they run into that trouble you're describing circa2008 ("this is who i am. it's who i have always been. it's who i was before i met you. it's what i do. it's everything i know." / "so write it down. put it in a book.") and the way that it's almost...cruel. "put it in a book" is a little mean. "it's who i was before i met you." is a little threatening. i don't think scully has ever looked so purely exhausted as she does throughout this film, and she ends up staying in the end.
and it's scary because they're not searching, they're not creating. they're not allowed to. when he starts up again, obsessively looking for the missing fbi agents, she tries to knock him back by invoking his sister. how she's dead and he can't find her and she has been through "too many years" watching him try. (a little mean, a little scary, a little threatening).
he can't find his sister, that investigation is long over, and he's not allowed to look for their son. which he describes in that movie to her as "an emptiness." my latest frustration around here is this indignance that scully would never leave, she's too "ride or die," she's a doctor, she's loyal. it feels extremely unkind to expect her to suffocate in a haunted house, a situation that we have no idea the lengths of except for the few days we saw, because she's dutiful. because she's starbuck.
and he can't put it in a book. fans want the same exact thing that they argue over in that scene. they want the "happy ending" and domesticity that you reference, and they explain by saying he could write. he could teach. he could stay home with the baby. you ask if mulder and scully know what's best for each other, and i think when they do it scares them. they don't want to say it out loud. other times, they don't know what to do with each other any more than i know what to put on them, by writing this. they know that they want to be searching. building. creating. but they don't always have something to look for, and it's hard to build from a haunted house with empty rooms.
there's this moment in the last finale that always rings incredibly sad to me, when mulder is racing around looking for jackson, and scully is anxious back at the house on the phone, saying "find him." and mulder says "i'm gonna find him. i am tired of looking at him on video."
and he sounds pissed off, like a dad with a teenager in trouble (running away with lottery money?? lol), but it's that last line that just guts me. it really makes you remember that we saw this kid as a baby throughout season 9, scully spent the first year of his life with him, she even got to talk to him at the gas station. mulder got infant photos. emails. security footage.
and in founder's mutation when scully asks if mulder thinks about him, he says "i feel like i've had to put that behind me." scully says that she hates herself.
there's this one moment of show-stopping relief in the finale when mulder makes it to jackson. and he says "i know it must seem strange to you. but i've been looking for you forever."
he was supposed to stop, supposed to put it all behind him, but that's not how mulder works. and even in the end, they haven't quite made it. they have what amount to maybe shaky beginnings.
i don't know what it looks like in the "after," if they are able to go home and build something, the way i'd like them to. the duchovny quote you reference is "there is no such thing as that story ever ending. those characters are forever searching. that's what they do. even if we're not watching them, they're out there."
and i think that's hopeful. i think that's nature. i think that's light in dark places, like chris carter says.
#another tag i found on an old post: 'shit like this is why mulder always dies in the visions jackson had as a kid. he's built different.'#😭😭😭😭#idk if any of this makes one bit of sense. it's an awful lot of words to say 'i don't know.'#i don't know where he is after that bridge. i hope he's with his kids. i hope he's looking for things that he can find.#i don't think that 'happily ever after' looks exactly like this fandom wants it to#but i think they're making something and they enjoy it and they enjoy each other#and as long as they can be out there seeking and building and creating i think they’re okay#thanks for chatting anon i really loved this message even tho i don't really have an answer lol. kisses

I've been thinking about how much I adore Tonks and Remus' dynamic but physically cannot ship them because my brain is being weird about their fucking age gap. this is so frustrating. they would have been so lovely for me if Tonks was like at least 27 in 5th book. Ronks (yeah I'm not calling it Remadora, Tonks hates her birth name ffs) would have been my ride-or-die alongside Jily and Wolfstar for sure.
because literally nothing else that Ronks antis consider deal breakers for them matters to me - not the fumbled way they get together in canon, not them getting married so quickly, not Tonks getting pregnant, not the assumed queer-coding of both characters (which I personally see, don't get me wrong. but it's assumed and who the fuck says they can't be queer4queer anyway?). sure, the nuclear family narrative being pushed so quickly and thoroughly onto them is peculiar but who says they didn't want to make the most of their time during a war? I love wartime drama and they would have been my shit if it weren't for... well. Tonks being 22 and Remus 35 when they meet.
I just can't ship big age gaps unless the youngest character is closer to 30 than 20. which is infuriating, because Ronks is objectively more fascinating because of their gap. my fucking loss, don't you think?
anyway, after thinking of ways I can make Tonks older without hurting the story, I began wondering whether her age is narratively important, and yes, turns out it very much is - for Harry.
Tonks being 22 in order of phoenix makes her the closest of Order members to Harry's age (Weasley twins don't count because they're Ron's brothers first, order members second for Harry) and the one Order member Harry can relate to the most in his youth and desire to fight. She almost perfectly parallels marauders and Lily in first war and represents the fun of the fight, the fire of youth, the confidence of a new recruit, the safety of relatability for Harry. She's one of the biggest inspirations for his newfound dream of becoming an auror. Harry needs Tonks among those older, battle-worn, cautious, secretive adults who don't take him seriously and never look him in the eye, because he wants to be what she is even before realising it and only reflects on it after spending time with her.
all in all, Tonks being 22 matters quite a lot for Harry's story.
now, we have no way of knowing whether Joanne came up with Ronks storyline prior to Tonks' introduction, but it shouldn't matter for their relationship, not in Joanne's opinion - Tonks' youth already fulfilled its narrative role in order of phoenix and stopped being an important asset of her character in half-blood prince.
oh, but unfortunately it still matters in the grand scheme of things, Joanne. you don't just introduce a young adult character (I'm 21 myself and gods, 22/23 is barely more mature), chuck their established age out the window and pair them up with a character in their mid-to-late thirties. and of fucking course it makes sense for a 23 year old to be down bad for some scruffy 36 year old man, it's incredibly realistic! this 36 year old man acting upon such crush is a little questionable, but still realistic (and we know Remus is very flawed, so I'm not surprised). but you know what isn't realistic at all?
Molly - a 46 year old woman, married to her high school sweetheart, mother to 7 children, 3 of which are close to Tonks' age - being extremely supportive of actually engaging in that sort of relationship, going as far as reprimanding Remus for not committing to it. I'm sorry, what? Molly might have some flaws as a mother, but she is nothing if not protective of her kids and those in their age range. She genuinely becomes somewhat of a mother figure for Tonks during their time in the Order, and I just cannot for the life of me understand how Molly could encourage her to pursue Remus and vice-versa, instead of consoling Tonks in her tragic crush and making sure Remus doesn't even look at her like that.
Minerva - an even older woman who taught both Remus and Tonks at Hogwarts, witnessed Remus becoming an adult from his graduation in 1978 up until 1981, then saw an 11 year old Tonks start Hogwarts 3 years later in 1984 - chiding Remus for not being "brave" enough to commit to such relationship. first of all, why the fuck is she involved in that narrative at all? it's none of her business??? she's not in any pseudo parenting role for either of them, unlike Molly, so I never understood why she even has a place to voice her opinion about their romance. second of all, even if it was her business, Minerva - a professor who witnessed both Remus and Tonks grow up so many years apart - would realistically feel pretty weird about such relationship.
those aren't problems with the ship itself, but rather the way Joanne implemented their romance in the story. I think it would be more realistic if Ronks was some kind of fucked up forbidden romance from other characters' perspectives. the way everybody is so instantly supportive of them is quite jarring to me.
interestingly, when I read hp for the first time at 11 I was quite adamant in my belief that Tonks was in love with Molly up until that scene in half-blood prince. a very weird belief for a kid, I know. I just only liked girls at the time and was relating to Tonks quite a bit since her introduction, so I guess I unconsciously decided she was a lesbian even without knowing that term yet. I also had a crush on my teacher in 4th grade and she was quite similar to Molly... yeah, this girl was projecting too much. I didn't pick up on Remus' queer-coding until I fell down the rabbit hole of lgbt discourse at 14, but was pretty shocked to read about Tonks falling for a man at 11. she was so like me until she wasn't :) it's pretty funny to think about now.
in conclusion, I'm hella jealous of those of you who don't have weird brains and can enjoy Ronks to their fullest potential. their canon writing has its issues but they're more interesting for it, truly. I'll stay in my no fun corner, headcanoning them as lavender married, queer-platonic, bisexual besties co-parenting Teddy Alastor Tonks.

Sorry, but I really have to say it, I can’t take it anymore.
A lot of anons you’ve been getting and answering are so incredibly annoying and disingenuous. It’s not a you problem, it’s those weird people. Aside from the fact that they clearly did not read the pov chapters of the characters they hate, they also tie themselves into tight knots because of theories not rooted in canon. Drawing half-assed parallels between characters that don’t have anything in common, coming up with baseless theories and then foaming at the mouth about them as if they’ve been confirmed by George himself. This is weird. Obsessive, even.
While disheartening, it’s understandable when people start hating characters because of said character’s annoying and vocal fans. But let’s not pretend that just because you can come up with theories where you villainise a character or other to justify your weird hatred that it somehow makes sense.
And to be clear, I’m not saying you can’t have absolute favourites, that you can’t be ride of die for a character. You can even ignore any other pov but the one of your fav. I have my favourites as well, it’s normal. But how can you talk stupid shit about a character that you don’t care to read about? You call the antis of your favourite “brainless”, but you act just like them towards other characters and their fans. This is called hypocrisy, btw, and you’re contributing to the disease in this fandom just as much as them.
Truly, I don’t want to be rude or whatever, and this is not meant as an attack to you personally. I’ve just seen like 5 of those insane anons in the asoiaf tag and I had to say something. I hope I did not somehow hurt you, though, tumblr user horizon-verizon, that was not my intention. I wish you a very good day.
Since I don't know exactly which "antis of Dany" you're saying I'm acting like, I don't know if I can take this ask's points to heart, anon. I was under the impression that I've been fair to Jon Snow, Helaena, Alicent, Catelyn, any of these characters that you could be saying that I am not very fair towards; the last Jon snow post (at least my own answer) was about him not being TPTWP...bc he isn't. It's quite obvious in-text. If that anon who said that he was boring offended you and you were offended that I didn't say that they were being too extreme, I can't really help you there. I still said in that post that Jon was important...just not in the way some people try to say. And yes, i still read his PoV chapters, I have said that I just tend to read Dany's and reread them more often. Not that I never read him, that's a gross exaggeration.
Jon Snow is not and never will be Azor Ahai. And never was/never will be TPTWP. This is fact, not "opinion". It's not about "favorites", it's about reading the books and understanding patterns of thoughts and references and reading mythologies and seeing patterns of human behavior within the text. And this isn't "extremism", it is simply reading the books. (As if I ever tried to tail Dany antis in the first place?)
If not about Jon and about how I refute TG's numerous and various points about Jaehaera or Helaena or Alicent, do you expect me to agree with their factually incorrect statements? you know that some even think Jaehaera was supposed to be Azor Ahai or GRRM means to invalidate his entire years worth of writing Daenaera to be mother to Aegon III's kids, right? Am I supposed to say nothing to these egregious absurdities?
All to say that since you still remain vague about what exactly your point is coming from and which character(s) you think I'm being grossly unfair to, I can't really take your points under any advisement. It certainly makes it look like I don't bring up material to back up my claims for all my thoughts about ASoIaF and its fandom, which is certainly not the case. You may look under my "example of green stan nonsense" to see what people say from their own posts.

Hi destiny, I just started reading your posts regularly and I have been loving them 💕 I'm sorry if you already talked about it but I was wondering
When Zendaya posted her story with the pearl ring last year, what did you think about the whole situation ?
To me personally, I saw the picture and thought nothing. Like pretty picture but that's it. And I was checking twitter at the time and no one was saying anything. Then Z deleted, cropped it, posted about focusing on the hat, then Noon.. then the story saying she can't post anything and that's not how she would drop the news. All of this, I thought it was a funny, like ridiculous, but still funny 😂 I dont know why she started to make a big deal out of it because I swear no one was posting about it, it was making any noise on Twitter or any platform.
BUT then Darnell went online and that's when I started to think they were doing too much. The funny story from Z was already a good way to address it, the live and more especially his tone, it made me raise my eyebrows a little bit. I know he would never do anything against Z's wishes so I'm not saying he's at fault, but Z herself and her decision making. She probably asked for him to go live, go on a monologue about it and idk if was the smartest way to deal with that because at the end of the day, he's a third party. He's not supposed to talk about it in that sense (but maybe that's just my personal view about relationships), but Z allowed him to, maybe even encouraged it. So it made me question their dynamic and how effective it is to send him do the "messy work" in a way. Also all of this was happening when Tom was asleep. Darnell sounded lowkey offended about the idea of an engagement. We can only have theories and right now they're doing more than fine, of course, but I wonder if Tom ever actually saw the video of the live and how he felt at the time. I'm not in his head but just from an outsider pov I would be like damn okay We're not engaged (assuming they're not, which we don't even know but still), but do we need to act like this is such a ridiculous idea🙃
To me (again, personal opinion)! the whole situation became too messy with this live and it's an example of needing a publicist before star thing to do shit on your own 😅
My theory is that someone in her family asked about it for some reasons, and instead of searching if rumors were actually going around massively (which was not the case) she panicked, thought something leaked, and (over)reacted immediately. I never saw her damage control being this incredibly over the top, and I've been there for years. I wonder if I'm the only one
and PSA: Im not saying that because I blame Darnell per say, it's not against him I really appreciate him from the little we know about him he's an incredible person and Z ride or die, I'm more specifically talking about her way of dealing with stuff like this. I would've said the same thing if it came from Tom's side. For example, for people who remember that era, when Tom asked Harry and Haz to DM fan pages to take down the vide of Nadia he accidentally posted in his story, I found it silly too. That's not their job. But at least it was done privately, not publicly
Hey, welcome to my blog! 😁👋🏾
Thnx for the sweet comments. 💕
Re: the Pearl Ring 💍 Gate lol 😆
Here's an article about it in case some people are lost lol....
Anyway... I'm like you, cuz when I first saw her IG story post, I wasn't even thinking about a ring or even thinking she was announcing an engagement lol 😂
I just merely thought she was showing off her outfit, that's all. 🤷🏾♀️ But yea, overzealous fans went gaga and started making all kinds of allegations. 🙄
While I'm glad she cleared things up and stopped the chatter, at the same time, it DID seem to me like she and Darnell were doing a bit too much rofl 🤣 Especially Darnell with his live talking about the topic lol 😆 Like, what are you all trying to hide lol? 🤭
Anyway, maybe you're right? She may have gotten a lot of text/msgs from family members or friends wondering if she was dropping some news, and she wanted to clear things up. Either that, or she just didn't want people thinking that she's engaged (when she's already secretly engaged and doesn't want the media to know 👀). Can you imagine trying to plan a wedding ceremony with the media on your back? That's a LOT of pressure. 🥴
Anyway....
I don't think it phased Tom any honestly lol 😆 Fans have to remember that Tom and Z are partners, so whatever they do or think, they talk about it. Couples usually talk about E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G... And I do mean EVERYTHING lol 😆 Even stuff that you wouldn't even think would be important rofl 🤣 Sometimes, my friend's boyfriend knows stuff that I've told her, and I'm like... 👀
So yea, they're fine. Tom knows how hard it is to navigate a rlshp in the public eye, and he's def on board with keeping his rlshp things sacred... as we saw in how he reacted to the Olivia pics, to the video about Nadia, to how he told the media that he felt that he and Zendaya's privacy was "violated" with those kiss pics in the car, to how he said he didn't want to speak on certain things w/out Zendaya, because this not just his story, it's THEIR story. 😊
So yea, he's fine with whatever needs to happen in order to keep their relationship sacred.

Characters for you soup!!!!!
Sirius and Ron!!!
SIRIUS AND RON LETS GO!!!!!
How I feel about this character:
Sirius — my absolute favourite. I’ve loved him for years and became vaguely intrigued the moment I read Hagrid say his ‘unusual’ name in Philosopher’s Stone (I think I was ten? So 14 years now). He’s a humongous prick he’s highly intelligent he’s hot and uninterested in basically everybody. I need him to be characterised well in fic: far too often he’s written as unhinged in a childish way, which is just Not It. I love it when he makes mistakes in spite of his competency and the mistakes actually make sense (for the situation, his age, his prejudices, etc). He’s so violently his own person and he should be allowed to be.
Ron — Won-Won my beloved. The James to Harry’s Sirius. Ride or die as long as he doesn’t let his insecurities get the better of him. Intelligent little shit who hates studying if he’s not interested in it. Character development King. He’s got so much depth that Ron-bashing fics need to fully mischaracterise him in order to make it viable (and then it still isn’t really). He’s had his bad moments (fourth year and the horcrux hunt comes to mind), but he always comes ‘round again, even if I wish the issues were talked out more. The series wouldn’t be the same without him.
Who I ship romantically with this character:
Sirius — James, obviously. Lily, but usually in a triad with James. Harry, sometimes. Well-written OC’s. Voldemort. Bellatrix, Narcissa. Marlene McKinnon too, though it’s been quite some time since I read any Blackinnon. I like him with Kingsley as well.
Ron — Hermione, Harry, Pansy, Viktor Krum, Lavender. Sometimes an intriguing OC. Draco, when he’s redeemed. I’ve read Ron/Blaise and had a blast.
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
Sirius — Oh gosh, probably Remus,,, but in a non-romantic Prongsfoot situation it’s James.
Ron — Hermione and Harry 100%… though I love a Ron&Draco (post-war and redeemed) situation, as they tackle the Muggle Household Appliances. Ron and Draco versus The Refrigerator Light.
My unpopular opinion for this character:
Sirius — ig it’s that I don’t think Remus is his soulmate or whatever, or that he’s a whiny twink. He’s incredibly shippable, first of all, and he does give off the vibe (in the books) of being a guy who generally conforms to a Straight Wizard Standard in terms of looks and values. He doesn’t look or act particularly muggle, but he’s fascinated by the culture; he doesn’t regularly paint his nails either I don’t think, and when his nails are painted it’s probably bc he had a tea-party with his (grand)daughter—he’s not scared of displaying femininity, but he’s not actively performing it . I also don’t think he was physically abused by or genuinely hated his parents. A kid doesn’t need to be all but (or literally) tortured physically to run away from home.
Ron — he’s not dim, or obsessed with food, or nothing more than comic relief. He’s a witty tactical genius, the youngest son, who sort of pales in comparison to Literally Survives Anything, The Chosen One Cockroach Harry Potter and Brightest Witch Of Her Age Hermione Granger. But he’s still an integral part of the trio, and he’s an incredible wizard when he applies himself, and he’s funny and logical and emotional. I think him and Hermione are cute together too.
One thing I wish had happened with this character in canon:
Sirius — I wish he’d lived. If not for Harry then for himself. He should’ve grown old, free and happy.
Ron — I think him helping George with WWW is a fun choice, but I think it would’ve been grand if he’d taken over a pub or something. Never starting Auror training, just immediately working at the Hog’s Head or the Three Broomsticks or the Leaky Cauldron and later taking over the place. He seems like the type — warm, funny, sociable — to be around people, listen to their problems, talk to them. An easier, slower life.

More thoughts on blood of Zeus
Was it revealed who cut Herons thread?? It doesn’t make sense for it to be Hades, nor does it make sense for it to be any of the other gods.. was it Gaia who did it because she wanted to release the last titan?
Poseidon is such a weird character in this because he acts like such a bitch.. we get it, he’s scared of Hera. Why is that his only character trait.
While I do like that Hades was motivated by love, he felt incredibly passive. I did say that it felt underbaked, and it’s because a lot of the time the series focused on him, he’s not actually doing anything. Half the season he’s giving exposition to Seraphim to try to convince him. And the other he’s letting Demeter walk all over him.
I also don’t like when they make Hades hate the underworld. If I’m remembering correctly, hades doesn’t actually hate the underworld. He’s pretty okay with it. Instead of having him hate it, just stick to his story with Persephone and wanting her to be with him permanently.
I also feel like Demeter wasn’t given any blame at all in Hades and Persephone’s predicament. She’s the entire reason why they have to split up every six months. So why does it seem like Zeus is being blamed for that, when it’s all Demeter fault. I really want Persephone to cuss her out and tell her how toxic and hypocritical she is.
Zeus’s trial served no purpose. I’m disappointed in Hera for once again allowing herself to be embarrassed by Zeus. But the whole reveal that Hera was the reason Zeus gets to rule the heavens added nothing and went nowhere. What’s the point of this revelation?? That Zeus shouldn’t be the ruler of the heavens??? This trial did absolutely nothing and I don’t understand the point of it.
The funeral games also served no purpose. They said the winner of the games gets Zeus’s ring and a clue to the stone to be the next ruler of Olympus.. so why is it that despite what the games was introduced as, that’s not what they ended up being. Zeus gives Heron the ring and that’s it. These games were pointless. It could have simply just been the gods grieving, but nope.
Speaking of the games, Ive seen people say they feel like Ares character changed. And I can kinda see what they mean. He didnt have much of a character in season 1, but he didn’t seem to be a hostile asshole like he is in season 2. Also, the whole thing with Persephone didn’t feel in character. At all.
I will say that I can understand his anger and hatred of Heron because he’s the result of what happened between his mother and father. I do wish they explored that anger more, and why he’s been so hostile, but they needed an asshole God and Ares fits that bill. Wish they gave him more scenes with Aphrodite as well.
Hera felt off. I don’t like how she allowed the other gods to speak to her that way. Yeah she feels bad but she’s still a powerful god who will not tolerate disrespect. After all they’re all riding for Zeus who was the cause of everything. She should have called them out in following someone who clearly does not care that his actions have consequences and yet they’re upset at her for reacting to his actions..
Herons character continues to be a disappointment. I’m not mad he’s the child of prophesy, I’m just mad he’s bland and boring. There’s nothing interesting about Heron and the series doesn’t do much to make him interesting. It thinks we should care because he’s the son of Zeus.. but Zeus has many sons, so he’s not special in that regard.
And here’s the thing, he could be interesting. They tried to make him a complex character by not wanting to save the men that tried to rape his mother even though other people will die in the process. That’s actually really interesting to explore because it deals with complicated feelings of doing what’s right and doing what you feel is justified. But instead of exploring these feelings Alexia just says some words and those feelings are gone.
The series also tried to make it a point that Heron needs to learn to forgive Seraphim.. the issue with that, is that that is based strictly upon what Gaia is telling Heron to do, not something that Heron wants to do. So it feels fake and phony that he wants to forgive him and wants to save him, because he’s not doing it on his own free will. He’s doing it because someone told him too.
And the thing about Heron and Seraphim, is that I will always be on Seraphim’s side, because he suffered more than Heron ever did. He was 100% right in killing his uncle and his sons. No he didn’t need time give them for what they did. They deserved to die and I’m glad seraphim killed them. I hate stories that says revenge is bad.
And then we get to Herons power.. he really is a Mary Sue lmfao. But they try to force this idea that Heron having this power is scary and he’s scared of being corrupted by it. That would work if we knew anything about Herons personality. Is he the type that can be corrupted? I don’t know because the series didn’t give him a personality.
Now that I think about it, I think they’re trying to parallel him with seraphim… someone pointed that out, and now that I think about it, that’s most likely what they were trying to do.
Problem is, is that it made sense with seraphim. It doesn’t make sense with Heron. At all. Like I said, seraphim suffered more than Heron ever did. His power doesn’t come from having a God for a father. It came out of desperation to survive. Seraphim ate the giants flesh, not because he wanted power, but because he needed that power to survive. Heron was just Born with it, so he never had to actually suffer to gain that power.
Speaking of my favorite character Seraphim.. I said it before but he’s still the most interesting and best written character in the entire show. Even when they forced a love interest on to him, he’s still better written than anyone in the series. Honestly, I think seraphim is their favorite character and they know that seraphim is liked more than Heron so they put all their thinking into his character. Because even when it misses, like with the love interest, it’s still better written than anything going on with Heron.
Anyway, I’m tired of this idea that Seraphim needs to be redeemed. He did nothing wrong and I’ll stand by that. Electra deserved to be killed by him. She was the worst.. nah but seriously, I feel like Seraphim’s actions in the first season wasn’t explored enough for my liking. Why was he going around converting people? What was the purpose of that? Was it the demon blood? Did he want to create his own kingdom? Why was he changing people? Because that never gets answered or explored.
I would have liked if they explained why. They gave him the speech claiming that the world was so messed up that people weren’t free. So why not go into why he was changing people. One of the prominent things about Seraphim’s backstory, is that he ate the giants flesh in order to gain the power to fight back against those who were causing problems. So why not have that be his thing. All those who converted did so because seraphim gave them the power to fight back against their oppressors and the ones who did them wrong. They were all victims of something.
That would be something that Hades would like about seraphim. So why not have that be the thing that bonds them together. The desire to right what’s wrong. Hades whole thing is about being just and fair. So he’ll allow Seraphim to get another chance at life as it’s not fair he died due to the gods meddling. No strings attached to his new life, but Seraphim has to help him with one thing that doesn’t require him much problem.
I would also add a scene of Electra and Seraphim having a talk and why she never once asked Zeus to bring him to her and to call her out on how she pretended she cared, but didn’t do anything to make sure he was alive and well and took Zeus’s word over being a mother. He needs to call her out, because how dare the show say she’s one of the only two people that prayed for him over the women who actually saved him and the one who took care of him.
Heron and Seraphim’s episode could have been done so much better if instead of a forced love interest, it was his caretakers that Seraphim went to go see. It wouldn’t make sense geographically but I would have made it work. This way they can speak about their mothers. Have seraphim reveal part of his backstory to Heron and have heron reveal his and what he had to deal with. How he hates the man who killed his mother but he also has conflicted feelings because that man is his brother. Have seraphim reveal the men who killed his mother were his cousins and that he also killed his uncle who tried to kill him as a baby and that he doesn’t regret what he did, because they deserved it. He asks Heron if he believes Seraphim deserves it, and Heron answers that he doesn’t know, because he knows that a big part of the reason his mother is dead, is because of Hera.
I really love seraphim and I want him to be happy.
The ending was weird. Why was Gaia so mad??? She’s acting like the gods were perfect before and didn’t backstab one another.. Poseidon does it the most. Her reasoning was weird. I feel like she was the real villain and wanted a reason to unleash the titan.

Some thoughts on Empress Ki
There are a lot of things I love about this drama (there is a reason it's in my Top 5 sageuks) but one of them is how uncompromisingly bleak it is.
Nobody gets a happy ending because you cannot have one in this environment. It does not matter if you keep your soul and your morals and your heroism (Wang Yu) or you descend as a way to survive (Sung Nyang and Togon) - there is no way out.
It's a never-ending circle of power hunger and trauma and damage and it forces people into their roles regardless of how they started. For example, El Temur is not a uniquely power hungry minister and Togon is not a uniquely put upon emperor - it all repeats in endless cycle. I love that after Togon takes down El Temur, there is no end in triumph. I am thinking of a scene early on where Togon literally grovels and begs El Temur, the man who killed his father and brother and tried to kill him. In any traditional revenge narrative, he'd eventually take the man down and yay, victory, the end as we flashback to that grovel scene and go aha see it was worth it. But not in this drama. El Temur is taken down and so Togon avenges his family and SN avenges hers (sort of - it's pretty telling that she started out wanting revenge on Togon but ends up with him; nothing is clear cut) but guess what? They don't get to ride into the sunset because we then have El Temur mark 2 - Bayan. The whole system is set up for talented ambitious non royals to try to control the royal and the royal to fight them and everyone ending up a monster.
I mean, at the very end of the drama, as Sung Nyang is left as the Dowager Empress, it would not surprise me if she will end up another version of Togon's mother, ruling through her child, more power obsessed than anything. This drama is very much "power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely" but with an even bleaker caveat - but if you don't fight for it, you will be killed.
The thing is, when I see the young SN and Togon in the beginning eps of my rewatch, my heart hurts for them - SN still so right and idealistic (and thinking the worst is behind her) and Togon a puppy even if seeds of damage and madness are there (how could they not be with his background.) If they saw themselves at the end of the drama, they'd be horrified. This drama is very much not about love healing - love does not heal or save any of the main three or any of the supporting. But it's not even the narrative of loving dooming you either. It's just that love may make dwelling in a pit of monsters more bearable but it won't heal you or defeat the monsters.
Both Togon and SN had only two choices - Togon from birth and SN from the moment she ended up in Yuan - become a monster or die. With or without love, that calculus does not change. Loving Togon did not make SN worse just as loving WY did not make her better - she did what she did to survive regardless of any romantic entanglements. And with Togon, love did save him in a sense - without SN to fixate his incredible powers of obsession on he'd have become a monster without any shred of any feeling, as opposed to a monster in love. Because the choice is not to heal or chose darkness for either of them tbh - it's what you grab onto in that darkness, if anything. (The fact that the greatest, most useful, most loving gift he ever gave SN was that epic murder spree he went on once he found he was dying, in order to clear the path of safety for SN and their son about sums it up.)
And yet - the drama does not give you even a relief of "well this is Yuan and its royal monsters, it's better elsewhere." It’s everywhere. Wang Yu is noble, smart, competent, tough, and utterly incapable of relinquishing his soul. All that gets him is death. But then crossing any line to keep himself and his loved ones safe got Togon death too. And all of SN's drive and strength got her utter loneliness and a path of eventually becoming a monster to be removed by the next generation in a never-ending cycle.
Anyway, gonna stop but god I love this drama!

It had been simple.
Going through the motions, investigating things that Nahida asked him to, picking fights with arrogant scholars, reading as many books in the forbidden section as he wanted to, rejecting invitations to go drinking with Cyno and Kaveh, writing when he felt like it, teaching Collei how to read.
He'd pretty much moved on. And by 'moved on' he meant that he compartmentalized, putting past events into a box and throwing them into a corner of his mind that he never visited.
So he hadn't expected to be hit with reality quite like this.
"Are you alright?" Haypasia asked him.
The thing was that Fujin was in every sense, a fallen God. Had it been the days of the Archon War he might have even taken Nahida's place as Archon of the people of Sumeru, and Celestia itself would have acknowledged him.
And the one person who'd seen his very core and had become his one and only worshipper and follower now stood in front of him and she had no idea who he was. That was the price he paid for erasing himself from history. Not that he would want her to remember him anyways.
There couldn't be any world where she would have wanted to serve a pathetic failure of a God. She'd witnessed his short reign and then watched him fall.
"I'm fine," Fujin crossed his arms. "I don't see how I wouldn't be fine. Did you really think I'd be weak enough to get hurt from someone as small as you knocking into me?"
"Oh dear," she said, scratching the back of her head. "I didn't mean to offend you."
"Offend me?" Fujin laughed. His stomach was twisting into knots. She was important to him. So important to him that he felt it in his non-existent soul. The failed God in him desperately yearned for the devotion of its only devotee.
But he was nothing to her now. Not even a memory. He didn't even exist in a world before now. Not to her at least.
"If you offended me, little girl, I'd have thrown you out a window. Remember to watch where you're going." Fujin turned and started marching away. He couldn't even consider this as her betraying him. By erasing himself from history, he'd been the one to betray her, not the other way around.
"Wait a minute! I'm not-"
"Haypasia? Is that you? Getting confused and lost as usual then? Are you back after having eaten all the drugs the Forest Watchers could pump into your system?" Fujin heard another student call out to Haypasia and he stopped in his tracks.
"How dare you! I research a legitimate field! Also that was incredibly rude to the Forest Watchers! Watch your tongue!" Haypasia cried out.
"Everyone here knows that you and the Forest Watchers are in cahoots to get more fundi-"
Fujin grabbed the student's collar and swung them so they were dangling out of a window.
"How about you try finishing that sentence?" Fujin snarled. "I wonder how long it'll take for you to hit the roots of the Divine Tree of Wisdom? Plenty of time to reflect on the brainlessness of your actions, yes? They call the Akedimiya the center of all knowledge and wisdom in all of Tevyat but all I meet are buffoons who cannot rub two brain cells together but are riding on the esteem of their school. Tell me, how many things have you achieved? Surely you must be one of the top students of the Akedimiya if you are able to wag your tongue so freely?"
"Mercy!" The student cried out, gripping his hand tightly, eyes wide and fear all over their face. Their limbs were flailing, obviously not wanting to die.
"You talk about the Forest Watchers stealing funding they don't need. I should throw you into a Withering Zone and see how you fare. Then you can prove they don't need funding, yes? As long as you manage to get out alive, of course."
Everyone in the hall was staring at him, terrified.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It was rude of me to say-"
"Hat Guy!"
Fujin sighed. That stupid fucking name. He needed to bring this up to Nahida. He turned to see Tirzad, one of the older Vahumana scholars staring at him in scandalized horror.
"Put that student down this instant! This is a sacred institution! You cannot bring your uncouth bullying in-" Tirzad began.
"Well," Fujin said, "I'd like to see you do something about it then."
He was about to go back to threatening the student when he saw Haypasia again. She looked scared. Scared of him.
Ah.
She really didn't know who he was. She didn't know that she had seen everything. But she no longer knew him.
Fujin laughed a little.
He didn't know why he felt such a keen and aching sense of loss. He had known for five hundred years that he was destined to be alone and unloved. That was why everyone had either thrown him away, used him, or left him.
"Nahida will understand," Fujin told Tirzad whose jaw dropped at him using the Archon's name so flippantly and casually and then he let go of the student.
Several people including the student screamed as the student went plummeting towards the lower levels of Sumeru City. Fujin flipped everyone in the hallway off, glanced at Haypasia's face, and then jumped out the window.
He caught the student just before they hit the pavement. Then he gently lowered them to the ground where they collapsed in a heap.
"You should write a book," Fujin grinned. "'How to offend Hat Guy and Survive'. How does that sound?" He patted the student's shoulder and then decided to meander into the Grand Bazaar to maybe find Nilou and watch one of the theater's rehearsals before Nahida found him and scolded him for throwing people out of the windows again.
His mind wandered back to Haypasia.
He wondered if she had enough funding for her research. He had a stupid amount of mora and people were allowed to anonymously donate to students.
He hissed under his breath, trying to squash the failed God that lived in his hollow chest. Haypasia wasn't his anymore.
He crossed his arms and unhappily headed to the Grand Bazaar.

What do you consider are Asami and Iroh's best qualities?
Have been thinking of a few ideas for a fic but I would like to know what do you consider their most valuable qualities in general.
Ooh, fic? You've piqued my interest!
I'd answer this differently though depending on if you mean their best qualities overall or their best qualities for each other.
Overall
Asami: quick problem solver, ride-or-die friend, caring and empathetic, thoughtful, intellectually curious, selfless, will have your back in a fight, strong moral compass, stands up for what she believes in, fast learner -> the kind of person you want on your team no matter what
Iroh: quick problem solver, protective, incredibly brave, self-sacrificing, curious, open to the world, willing to change his mind with new information, dedicated, service-minded, will not give up ever -> the kind of person you want between you and the scary
For each other:
Asami: caring, a balance of sexy and intellectual, cosmopolitan, brave, all-in, a love of ideas but a bent towards the practical, looks hot in a suit, drives really fast -> the kind of woman who will light up all of Iroh's senses
Iroh: an actual goddamned gentleman, show over tell when it comes to affection, thoughtful, dedicated, bright and willing to engage on subjects he knows nothing about, sexually generous, adventurous, wants to make the world a better place, bit of a nerd, also likes to go fast -> the kind of man who can go toe to toe with Asami and be turned on rather than threatened

your friendly trainer's guide to: APEX KORAIDON
Something to bear in mind: dont catch him. Actually don't look at him. Don't be within 1000 feet of him. It's probably best you're not even around the crater base at all should he be prowling on the outside walls. He absolutely knew you were coming and in fact is probably hunting you as we speak-
But let's say you miraculously survived and even managed to catch Apex Koraidon.
He hates you.
Oh he absolutely hates you.
The worst thing you can do is mistake him for an animal. Apex is something akin to an ancient misplaced being; he has complex thoughts and needs ( though very angry and very proud ) and basically throwing him in a pokeball is calling him less then that. He's both a predator and a dragon with an incredibly intricate culture, rules and even language and he won't tolerate disrespect or being mistaken as Pokemon in the regular sense of needing domestication or friendship.
And he's still going to actively hunt you out of revenge as soon as your guard is down. Apex is a prehistoric predator, the apex of his time and dominant of his species. He was made in a world without humans and that everyday was one to survive. He's not made for domestication, he does not WANT domestication, an easy or kind living, or companionship. He's evolutions perfect killing machine made to take down mega fauna in solitude. He thrives on territorial clashes, fights with mesozoic giants like Tyrantrum and Roaring Moon over kills, and driving out rivals from his hoards, mates, clutches and territory.
In fact giving him offerings, kind words or otherwise is an insult to a proud ancient dragon and will make him two times as hostile. You're calling him weak, a hatchling, prey or otherwise and any proud dragon and predator would sooner die with their dignity then get help like prey.
And whatever you do DONT pet him, or ride him, or any of that sort unless you want to be trampled, thrown off violently or your limbs going missing. Not unless he says so. A dragon's scales and plume are a mark of power. In his time the brighter more battle worn hides and feathers are to be admired and respected. Touching them without permission or needlessly is a backhand and especially if you attempt to touch the softer underbelly or fringe. Same thing with trying to climb him. As said before, he's not an animal or a tool and doing so is saying different. You're going to be mauled.
A relationship with Apex is near impossible and any exceptions are in the extreme cases or by force like a masterball. In hypotheticals the closest one can get for him to consider you an equal rather then prey or an enemy is being his rival where he considers you as worthy in battle. Things like challenges, bets, and competition in ancient dragon culture is venerable, pitching ones own raw power against another. There is no respect for competitors who cheat or use anything else but their actual strength. Yes even the loser in the bet has at least the dignity that they committed with their power only.
Before being driven away from their kill or den of course.
Apex does not owe any one person his attention, his strength, or his nonexistent friendship. Any working together is usually done by force of circumstance and only for that time. His literal ideal life is hunt, rest, breed offspring, protect his den and hoard and then die if not from injury let it be in battle by a bigger opponent. Nothing else and he's happy with that.
#ooc┇╳#headcanon tag#hes still actively hunting the remaining professor out of revenge#why the fuck do you want this homicidal bicycle#just paint a cyclizar red and get it angry. youd have a better chance with that then apex koraidon

They Can Live In My New World Or Die In Their Old One- Chapter 1 Diplomacy
Ok so with the rise of fantasy stuff on Tumblr for Leon x Reader, figured I'd throw my hat in the ring with this.
Summary: You are known among the kingdom as The Mad Queen, a ruthless woman with a large military. Seeking to take your rightful throne, nobody who has ever seen you has returned before, all thought to presumably be dead. Your strength is unequal. Ser Leon Kennedy is a knight sent by King Graham to ask for a temporary truce. Hordes of monsters and the undead rising, the kingdom couldn't fight two wars. But how does one reason with a Mad Queen?
Once upon a Time blah, blah, blah. The sweet innocent princess needed her noble and good prince in shining armor to come to save her from some giant monster. But this was no fairytale, no damsel in distress. No prince with a noble heart, and good intentions.
Ser Leon never questioned the orders of his king, he’d fight hordes of monsters whenever the man gave his word. However, riding straight for the Mad Queen’s castle alone, it felt incredibly foolish. He had never seen her, most who did, didn’t survive to tell the tale. The current King only had the throne due to deception, and backstabbing. The previous king- the Mad Queen’s father, had been murdered on the Throne along with his son. The Queen had fled the capital to the ancestral home, taking their daughter with her. The current King had been elected by the people to rule, and while he had publicly spoken against the assassination no further efforts were made to bring justice. He was just a kid when it had happened, but his father had been a knight and the situation had upset him. Why the King refused to act when the knights found the man always puzzled Leon.
Leon had heard enough during his time as a Knight to know many were unhappy with the new King. That if the original King son’s escaped they would support him in retaking his rightful throne. But those murmurs had died as time went and the King proved himself a dependable man. Under him the knights protected the kingdoms, that was how Leon saw it anyway.
“Halt! Why is one of the King’s knights approaching our Queen’s keep?” A soldier with a sharp spear pointed at his horse, brought him out of his thoughts. Another soldier had a spear pointed at Leon himself. Behind were more men on large horses. The men looked northern, an oddity to see this far from home but he supposed fanatics could come from anywhere.
“The King sent me to speak with your Queen. It is in regards to the recent uprise in monsters and the dead rising,” Leon spoke clearly. He couldn’t show weakness before these men especially, northerners were tough. The knights often said one North man was as strong as 10 Southerners. With a gruff noise one of the men with a spear nodded his head, and the one on the largest horse took off towards the castle likely. Leon looked closer at the men, no sigil easily seen, the northern houses were all recognizable. They spoke nothing to him spears still pointed defensively at him. If nothing they were loyal to a fault, but this was going to be a long wait from the feel.
“This throne is rather pitiful don’t you think,” you murmured looking upon the seat sadly. You were met with a large huff. Your hand traced the seat, it was made of cold stone, not the righteous victories your ancestors had used in crafting the throne in the capital. As the large doors were thrown open, a long red and black tail flicked in front of you defensively from his perched position behind where you stood.
“My Queen! There is a foreign knight here to speak with you!” You emerged from behind the tail, upon recognition of the voice. “Where is he from? An ally of ours or an enemy?”
“He claims the False King sent him, he wants to speak on the monsters and dead. I don’t get a sense of ill intention, I believe he spoke the truth m’lady.”
“Very well allow him to ride here, thank you as always Ramsey. You make an excellent messenger,” you gifted him a soft smile. He bowed low.
“As you wish my lady,” Ramsey turned swiftly and exited. Slowly you set yourself upon your makeshift throne. You rested your chin upon your wrist as you waited for the knight to appear before you. The creature behind you dipped off the wall, and you followed its movements with the sounds in the surrounding air.
Leon hadn’t expected to be let in, very less to be allowed to ride to the castle alone. As he rode, he noted the bustling towns all full of supporters. Men tending to crops from all different parts of the continent. It seemed cozy even, kids playing, women cooking out in the open. He expected the Mad Queen’s followers to be savages, coated in blood, everyone wielding a weapon. He couldn’t get distracted, he needed to negotiate with the woman not envy the lives of her people. He spurred the horse on further along the worn-in road. It was a 20-minute ride from the gates to the castle, where there were more military men. Presumably, the Queen’s Guard then led Leon and his horse along the outside of the castle. Leon brought his horse to the stables and secured him in a stall away from the army’s horses. The men of the Guard guided him through the castle to the doors before the throne room. Outside of it stood the Lord Commander of the Queenguard, a man Leon recognized, the illegitimate son of a great house in the western region of the country; Setanta. He was built frankly like the castle itself, large and imposing. He even rivaled the legendary knight Chris Redfield. He was only known however because of his skill as a fighter, even being illegitimate- he had the natural fighting skills nobles learned their whole lives from birth. His grin was like a wolf as he gestured to the doors for Leon. They opened slowly, and the dread set in.
The woman was sat upon the throne, the entire back wall was broken away, letting the wind blow through the room freely. The Queen herself was dressed in a black leather-like dress, on her left shoulder sat a deep rep cloak that had a scale-like pattern on it. A platinum chain attached the cloak to the dress crossing her body, atop the chain on the cloak was a dragon head, her family’s symbol. On the other shoulder was another scale-like pattern providing armoring. Under the dress was firm pants like a soldier, and similar boots. Those scales though, looked almost too real to be armoring, like they were actual scales taken from some beast. He quickly bowed before her, this was about diplomacy, not his personal beliefs or inquisitions.
“Rise and speak your peace before I decide against it,” her voice was cold and commanding.
“King Graham has sent me to ask for your aid in killing the monsters that have been appearing. As you must be aware, the dead have been rising recently, they’re destroying everything in their path and inflicting mass casualties.”
“And how exactly is that my problem? If you haven’t noticed, none of my men have been lost to this threat, nor the rise in monsters.” She stood up to look down at him, perfectly collected.
“We want to propose a temporary peace between our camps. Set aside our war, and focus on the war against the inhuman,” he had to control his anger. Good people were dying, you truly had to be cruel to not care. The air picked up, ruffling his hair and disrupting the cloak on her shoulder.
“And what would I get in return for this peace? What could the False King ever offer me?” The woman wasn’t even disturbed by the violent winds. Leon almost didn’t believe she was human anymore, no human could be used to that level of wind.
“We’ll give you the man who murdered your father and brother!” Leon had to shout to hear over the violent winds.
“That’s not good enough for me to spare any of my strength on,” with that something large landed on the wall shaking the building, and the wind suddenly stopped. Atop the wall sat a large white dragon, its large maw open and growling. His eyes widened and he felt a deep need to shutter. He had faced large monsters, horrifying beasts, but never something so ancient, something thought to be dead. The great white beast had its wings extended, to block the surrounding air from disturbing the room.
“How about a little compromise? You give me the man who killed my family, so I may serve my justice. And in return, while you go fight your little war against the dead, I won’t destroy your False King.” You were testing him, he knew it deep in his bones. The Mad Queen was cold and calculating, cruel, but she was just. You wanted him to call his bluff.
“You just spoke of justice, but that doesn’t seem very fair. All we do is lose a man in our kingdom but you offer nothing. For a princess who cares so much about justice and equality, that doesn’t seem very just or fair.” Your eyes turned sharp, and he immediately knew one word was wrong. He called the Mad Queen a princess, and the rage that boiled underneath your surface was expressed with another shuddering of the building as something bigger landed. A second dragon larger than the white one had landed on the opposite wall. It had the same black and red scales present on your shoulder armor.
“Never call me a princess!” You had crossed the room in an instant, and the roar from the larger dragon deafened him briefly. “I am the rightful Queen, your King stole my throne when those rats of men had my father killed!” Leon was prepared to die right then and there. Burned alive by your two dragons, another corpse in the pile of the Mad Queen’s bodies.
“I apologize, m’lady,” he hurriedly spoke involuntarily. You took a deep breath, and as you calmed the two beasts did as well. Leon marveled at them, and now the pieces clicked. The northerners followed strength, which was stronger than a woman who commanded 2 legendary beasts. The lack of casualties also clicked, between the strong military and the dragons, what could get to the people who followed you?
“However I appreciate the confidence it takes to speak against me. Even if your logic is incorrect, I appreciate a bold move such as that. I have a man I may be able to give you to aid in this plight against the undead. I will write to him tonight, come back in a week’s time. If he agrees, he will accompany you, as a sign of my goodwill. If not I will have another man for you,” Slowly you returned back to the stone-carved throne. The dragons flicked their tails down to either side of the throne like your very ancestry was there beside you. Deep within something screamed, ‘That is what true royalty looks like. Not a man on the throne with no real power.’
“Thank you, m’lady. I truly appreciate it, I’ll bring the prisoner when I return.” Leon knelt before turning to leave.
“Give me your name before you leave, so the guards will allow you here when you return.”
“It’s Ser Leon Kennedy.”
“Very well then Ser Leon Kennedy, safe travels. Oh and don’t forget, while you may fight this war against the dead, your scarier villain will be here watching. Plotting and planning her attack, never forget that. I will come for my throne.”
“And we’ll be prepared for that too.” He hid his smile, he hadn’t expected to enjoy the challenge you brought.
As the knight separated the castle Setanta, entered the throne room. The two dragons were leaning down, each had their snout pressed against one of your hands. For such ferocious beasts, they were like pups for you. “So who are you sending? While I’d love to flaunt my talents, I don’t appreciate them calling me The Mutt, can’t promise I wouldn’t kill one of them over that.” You chuckled shaking your head.
“You’re my loyal Wolf, the Lord Commander of my Queen’s Guard, you’re going nowhere. I was planning on ‘El Escorpion’ someone I trust can hold their own.” Setanta let out a low whistle.
“I don’t know if I should be complimented, or if I should pity him for having to deal with all those bastard knights. I just have one question for you though?”
“I’ve never known you to hold your tongue, ask the question.”
“Why do you let them get away with thinking you’re a cold and cruel woman? I know you want to help, why did you have to hide it?”
“Because if they knew, they wouldn’t respect me. You were never respected because you are an illegitimate child, I was born legitimate, but because I am a woman if I show kindness to the enemy I will never get my rightful throne. Besides to a certain degree, I do want to watch them all die, all who stand between me and justice. I won’t have justice until I sit atop that throne, my true ancestral throne, with that False King gone.”
