Is Yuusaku's ghost a product of Ogata's imagination, or his hallucinations, or he's really some kind of ghostly presence near him (the last one is all up to Noda if he wants to play with supernaturality of course) because to my sense he's a manifestation of Ogata's subconscious therefore closest to being a product of Ogata's imagination/mind.
My theory is that Yuusaku's ghost is a manifestation of, or representation of Ogata's conflicts in mind (his moral conflicts, especially his repression of guilt vs what he thinks and persuade himself to think he feels) and I see this fitting with Yuusaku being a flag bearer (and therefore an icon) like he's there to represent something, to stand up for something.
So we all know Ogata's mind enormously repressing his feeling of guilt by persuading his own self into thinking he has none and it's normal as a coping mechanism and then here's the hauntings of dead Yuusaku who was the exact opposite of him with thinking and morality and the existence of guilt, as if appearing in manifest of Ogata's own inner conflicts in his subconscious. Because Ogata knows he feels guilt and it is real, just can't release it out. Basically what he's thinking represents what he's saying to himself, and dead Yuusaku is what he's saying against himself someplace in the back of his mind › the inner conflict
I just loved this as a concept, that's all, and wanted to share it with you to see how you'd react because I love your way of thinking, wording and observations. Thanks for taking your time for reading <3
Canon never quite said.
The closest we have to canon implying what Yuusaku is can be found here when Ogata says there's something he always refused to face... and then we're given the answer with this visual of Ogata facing Yuusaku...
...so you can see Yuusaku as the personification of his guilt.
I personally do prefer this implication but this doesn't exclude the fact Yuusaku can also be an akuryō (悪霊 “evil spirit”) as Ogata calls it or a variation of some sort as in Japan there's the belief things and feelings can take a life of their own and become spirits.
So having Ogata's sense of guilt... take a life of its own would make sense for them... even though not so much for us as we, instead, view ghosts solely as the spirits of DECEASED PEOPLE, not as spirits of objects, feelings or whatever.
So yeah, I'm on your same page with Yuusaku being the personification of Ogata's sense of guilt from that far chap 164 in which he started to see him in place of Asirpa.
I find it more interesting if it's all psychological and there's no supernatural involved... but for Japanese people it can very well be that both are at play.
As I'm mostly out of the fandom I'm not sure if Noda even revealed something else about the scene so I fear I can't help with it.
Thank you for sharing with me your theory, which matches quite close with how I also prefer to interpret the scene and sorry if I couldn't be of more help.

The series is not 100% clear on the matter. But a lot of fans have observed that there's a fair bit of evidence to suggest that Nagito wasn't lying about his illnesses, despite surviving his original prognosis. And that him insisting he was lying afterwards was just his attempt to keep Hajime from getting close to him.
There are multiple pieces of evidence in the various mangas showing his inner thoughts, that point to the stuff about his dead dog and the plane crash being truthful. And if he was being truthful about something as insane as a meteor hitting a plane at the exact moment it was being hijacked, the dementia + lymphoma claim isn't quite so unbelievable.
There's also his behavior throughout the series. People have pointed out that a lot of it is fairly consistent with symptoms of someone with fronto-temporal dementia. His tendency to ramble, impaired empathy, inappropriate social behavior, etc. His pale skin and hair, along with his skinny physique also suggests his body is quite sickly.
Sorry for dragging this out a bit. It's just that when it comes to Nagito's illnesses, a number of fans can treat him very hypocritically. To use Nekomaru for example, he frequently does strenuous physical activities that a person with a heart condition shouldn't be doing. Yet no one accuses him of lying about his illness. Nor do people claim that Toko fakes her split personality, even though Syo isn't a very accurate portrayal of dissociative identity disorder.
Oh, thanks for taking the time to message me! First of all, I want to say that I'm not specifically accusing him of lying, just that it can be interpreted as a lie because the math between the life expectancy he said and the actual time he lived after he was declared sick doesn't add up. I'm not sure about the EN fandom, but I think more people interpret it that way, at least in the JP fandom.
I also do not want to criticize anyone who thinks his illness is true. I was more wondering why there is a difference in interpretation between the JP fandom and the English fandom wiki. The Danganronpa Fandom Wiki says "While it is left ambiguous in the game, his illnesses and backstory as well as his school profile in Danganronpa 3". I don't have the official setting materials of the anime, so I'm not sure, but I did a search in Japanese to see if anyone mentioned anything like Nagito's illness was written in them, but I couldn't find any mention of it. So I just said that the source of that line is vague, but that's all. I mentioned that more people in the JP fandom have the interpretation that his illness was a lie, but of course there are various fanfic made under the assumption that the story of his illness is true! I am a fan who played DR2 almost immediately after it was released in Japan, and if I remember correctly, there was a mixture of both interpretations among those who finished the game at the beginning, and gradually fans accepted the one that the illness was probably a lie, because the life expectancy he talked about and the time when the school trip in NWP started did not match. (I guess a lot of fans just wanted Nagito to live).
Sorry for repeating almost the same sentence, but I know there are people in both the JP and EN fandoms who would interpret it as real, and I'm not trying to determine which is canon at all. In the post I commented on, the OP seemed to be considering which way to interpret it, so I thought telling about the interpretation in the JP fandom might be a kind of clue to the story. I don't want to criticize those who interpret his illness as true.
However, as for the information written on the fandom wiki, I want to know the source! If anyone knows where the information is written, please let me know!
I didn't mention some of the things you wrote, but I hope you understand that's because I don't want to be particularly critical or anything like that. (And since we were originally only talking about Nagito, I don't intend to expand the discussion to other characters.)
Again, thanks for taking the time to message me!

Mana: What It Is & How To Absorb It
For the last decade I have done a study on Elemental Magick, and what I found is very interesting!
This post is dedicated to exploring the concept of Mana as magick energy.
So, what is Mana? There are many theories but the short answer is power. It is magickal energy that exists as particles. A concept that is very common in Anime. In fact, the concept is so common that it was adopted in RPG video games. However, it is hard to say which one said it first. If the concept of Mana is so widespread, then it must be grounded in reality.
Before we continue let's get one thing clear: Magick is real. The beings you invoke in your rituals and spells actually do exist on the astral plane. The energies we summon: The Elements, natural energies, the powers of spirits, etc are very real. This is not, and has never been, a metaphor. It's not just "spicy psychology." Don't let witchy social media fool you into believing that you don't have real power.
That being said - what *exactly* do you think powers our spells? It's not spirits if that's what you think. The truth is that the beings we invoke in ritual are not the ones that fulfill our commands. If that were true then Atheist Witches wouldn't be a thing. They don't even work with spirits. If that were true, then Wizards who work with Chaos Magick Theory couldn't create Servitors. Sigils wouldn't work. So, what is the other option? The answer you are looking for is Mana.
So, I ask again, what exactly is Mana? I have a working theory: Mana is the particles of energy created by the combination of Solar & Telluric power currents. I found the answer I was looking for in John Michael Greer's The Druidry Handbook as well as several other books by various authors. But my main sources have come from fantasy anime, namely Fairy Tail, Black Clover, Akashic Records of a Bastard Magical Instructor, and The Rise of the Shield Hero.
In The Druidry Handbook by John Michael Greer, he mentions the currents of what Druids call Nwyfre (noo-iv-rah). It is the same energy that the Chinese call Chi, the Japanese call Ki, the Hindus call Prana, and we call Mana. There are two main energy currents: the Solar Current and the Telluric Current. My theory is that these currents converge in the atmosphere all around us to create the energy we refer to as Mana. This is why so much anime and so many RPGs visualize it as particles of energy in the air. Because that's exactly what it is!
So, the more scientifically minded among you are probably asking "If Mana is real, then why can't modern science measure it?" My reply is "Who told you we can't?" Consider this scientific research on how the Law of Attraction works. Your nervous system plays a big part in all of this.
Mana is basically the same as electricity, or more accurately - light. It's not that difficult to deduce if you consider the facts. In anime, Mana particles always look the same: like photons. Consider that our entire Multiverse runs on electricity. Our very bodies are electric in nature. The Solar & Telluric Currents of Nwyfre that create Mana are electric & magnetic in nature. Telluric Currents are what create ley lines, aka magnetic flows of the Earth that generate the Earth's electromagnetic field. Mountain air is so healing due to the higher concentrations of Solar Nwyfre.
This is the same reason why we use copper to wire wrap our crystals. The same reason why we work with clear quartz (piezoelectricity). The reason why we work with natural substances such as herbs and oils (trace amounts of stored electrical potential via atoms). The very reason we say to build your Wands and Staves and other Tools out of wood and metal (electrical conductivity). It's also the exact reason why we say to never use plastic in your Craft (because it is non-conductive). And finally, it's the reason why intention controls how our spells manifest (thoughts are electrical impulses).
I will end my research paper here. I hope you have enjoyed my research! I have many more metaphysical research papers to write and publish.

[Magi rewatch] Episode 10: His Name Is Judar [Part 1]
UGO-KUN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???
>:O
Markkio's voice sounds so creepy. Good fit.
I like to think myself a creative person, but then something very simple will turn out to be beyond me. I usually use "Idiot King" cuz how else do you translate it? Well, "His Stupidity" for one. Not a bad choice at all.
This bitch has no reason looking this pretty.
"Yo, I'm here."
D:<
Also, I love how they all got so dumbfounded by Judar's appearance that they forgot to resist (Alibaba) or stop him from resisting (the guards). It was like, wait a second, we were doing something here, weren't we?
Ahbmad, you dumb bitch.
RIP
I SWEAR the Moon is always full
Despair
Small thing, but the fact that Alibaba still refers to Ahbmad as his older brother.
Aladdin, you are a blessing when you aren't awful to women.
Mood
Ok, that's different. Here Ja'far say that Sin will announce the results, while in the manga it was "Sin said we will announce the results"
On a different note, I haven't noticed Masrur previously, but it looks kinda funny. Man, how tall is that guy. Or maybe how small are these doors?
Ok but
Listen-
(I couldn't find a better pic, I'd have had to rewatch the movie)
Ok, jokes aside, here it's definitely Sinbad speaking. In the manga, again, it's hard to say who it is, though I've wanted to assume this part about the negotiations falling is said by Alibaba. But I don't know. I'd have probably needed to, idk, know Japanese & read in the og language to see if there are some differences in the way they talk (cuz I assume there are), but based on a translation it's a little harder to say.
Ok, again, WHY are they changing the dialogue so much? Here Sinbad is like "the negotiations have failed, which is why we gotta fight the military now" like, bro. First of all, that makes his entire "I make a point not to get involved in other countries interanal affairs" even more of a joke than it already was, and second, he's literally instigating the goddamn rebellion here. The show, ironically, portrays him to act the exact smae way goddamn Al-Thamen does, only he's "on the right side". Sure, it's kinda fun, given what happens later, but this sort of behavior should've raised red flags since the day one?? Hell, if not Alibaba, then ALADDIN should've been able to tell, given he could see the resemblance between what Balbadd & the Kouga Clan are going through. Ugh
"Up until now you could've only fight them as a band of thieves, but now you can't fight them like equals."
I really, really don't like these changes.
In the manga it's Aladdin and Alibaba who comment that Sinbad is amazing & yeah, that's a king for you. Here it's some random citizens.
Also, Alibaba looks so sad in the anime? In the manga he clearly admires Sinbad. There might be some sadness there, too, but not on the same level?
Then again, here these ppl are also saying how he looks like a real leader, so I guess it could make him feel a bit bad, lol
Hm, I wonder what does that mean
T H E M O ON I S A L W A Y S F U L L
Also, Judar's here
He does look good in here, ngl
The anime just never manages to catch the unhingedness of some of these moments smh He doesn't look like a madman, he just looks like a regular weirdo who thinks war is neat.
But damn if his VA isn't awesome
I wanted to focus on this moment, then I noticed Alibaba dissociating
Ja'far on the left 100% ready to cut the bitch, I tell you. It's that empty stare
Not suspicious at all

jpmd update number...is it five? nope ok its number 4
LONG POST AS ALWAYS
what i said in the tags on the last post was true: today we met team skull and went to spindas cafe!!!
OBSERVATIONS
team skull's japanese name is ドクローズ which as far as i can tell means "poison rose" ... ??? nothing particularly rosy about them but sure
koffing called skuntank あにき which KILLED me because yes i know in its most basic sense its just older brother/man who is older & superior to you but the only other place ive ever heard it is in the yakuza games and i literally said in the last post that i was half expecting yakuza-esque dialogue from team skull so this made me laugh so much wwwww
skuntank was very rude (さすが). the first thing he says at all is "どけ!じゃまだ!” aka "move, outta my way!" (lit. "MOVE! (YOU) ARE AN OBSTACLE")
zubat was also very rude and called the guild omeetachi
aniki, nioi (smell/odor), and onara (fart) were all in katakana - makes sense
in politer and cuter news, wynaut's japanese name is so-nano and she ends every sentence with nano (or sometimes just no) which seems really punny and cute lol
spinda uses generally the same polite shopkeeper speech everyone else does, with some vowel elongation (practically every desu/masu turned into desuu/masuu) and several words i didn't know (although let's remember i've only played sky once before now so this was extra new to me compared to everything else)
and a couple polite speech notes: loudred speaks informally to diglett but diglett speaks politely to loudred (probably both superiority and age), and the pokemon that the protags recruit in dungeons speak politely to the protags
today was a bit shorter and tougher than previous days partially because of the spinda thing but also because i was SWIMMING in menus and dialogue. when i walked out of the cafe and chimecho came over to tell me about it i was like ohhh my god another string of text boxes...
i also realized it'd be nice if i could play it more often because the longer i go without playing, the more things i forget :P i got confused by a lot of the stuff in my inventory because i couldn't remember what half of it meant and i had to do a mix of jisho-ing and staring really hard at item descriptions until things came to me...sigh
but overall things are still going pretty well. except for the sentry game, today was round 2 of that and i actually failed twice and got like the lowest prize tier!!!! can you believe that!!!! very flop. but aside from that i'm making my way...and learning boatloads of new words!!
GOOD SENTENCES
けっきょくのところはじりょくだよ。じつりょく。(said by zubat to partner)
somehow i remember this EXACT line in the english version, ~16 years later. this is where he says "it all comes down to talent...pure talent."
lit. "in-the-end NOUNRELATIONSHIP place TOPIC true power COPULA NEW. true power."
へへっ あにきさえいればおまえたちなんかひとひねりだぜ。(said by zubat to partner)
"hehe. if the chief had been there, we would've beaten you weaklings easily." (aniki isn't chief but that's what they call him in english so that's what i'm using)
lit. "hehe. big-brother only/even exist-COND you-PLURAL the-likes-of easily-defeated COPULA ASSERTION"
あっ!うわさをすればこのにおい!(said by koffing to...kind of the partner)
"ah! speak of the devil - there's that stench!"
lit. "ah! rumors OBJ do-COND this stench!"
(when i read "うわさをすれば" and looked up うわさ i said out loud, "hmm, if you do rumors...OH! is this like speak of the devil?" and I WAS RIGHT! BITCH)
そんなことより。おまえたちかねになりそうなしごとはあったのか?(said by skuntank to the gang)
"never mind that. have you guys found any jobs that look like they'll pull in cash?" (i can ALMOST remember what the real english line is but not quite...)
lit. "that-kind-of thing from. you-PLURAL money result.in-seems-CONN.COPULA work TOPIC exist-PAST の QUESTION?"
side note: かね was in katakana here
[LEADER'S NAME]がやられたというのに。。。なさけないな。。。(said by partner to technically themself)
"even though they treated LEADER like that...i'm so pathetic..."
lit. "[LEADER] SBJ do-receive-PAST QUOTE-say.NONPAST のに... pathetic SELF.DIRECTED..."
this one is maybe the hardest one for me to wrap my head around in the entire group...i still struggle with recognizing the receptive form/telling it apart from the potential and having it combined with という and のに which i understand decently and more than decently well (respectively) but not entirely, that was hard...
i was about to say that if i didn't know the english equivalent dialogue i might not have gotten this one but actually i have なさけない hard-memorized (it's in one of my all time favorite JP songs) so i probably could have gotten it from context lol but understanding the grammar helped a LOT
すきなしょくざいをもってくればおいしいドリンクをつくってくれるんだって。(said by pachirisu in spinda's cafe)
"if i bring ingredients i like, i bet (spinda) will make a tasty drink for me!"
lit. "pleasing-CONN.COPULA ingredients OBJ carry-and-come(bring)-COND tasty drinks OBJ make-and-give(down-to-me) EXPLANATORY QUOTE (?)"
still working my way around だって...
きざきのもりのときのはぐるまがぬすまれたんですってね。(said by teddiursa to protags)
"the time gear in treeshroud forest got stolen, didn't it!"
lit. "[treeshroud forest]* POSS time CLASS gear SUBJ stolen-receive-PAST EXPLANATORY-POLITE-COPULA QUOTE SHARED."
*for the life of me i cannot find きざき on jisho. the only reason i know what forest teddiursa means is because, of course, i played the english version
SHOUTOUT GROVYLE I CANT WAIT TO MEET YOU
どうせ 「いいえ」 えらんでも けっきょくは 「はい」を えらんだのと おなじ けっかに なるんじゃないかとか。。。 (said by chimecho when she offers to have your teammates wait at the cafe and you say no)
"in any case, even if you choose 'no,' in the end you'll wind up having the same result: choosing 'yes,' right...?"
lit. "in-any-case 'no' choose-even-if in-the-end TOPIC 'yes' OBJ choose-past(?)-NOM QUOTE same result TARGET become-TE.COPULA-TOPIC-exists-NEG QUESTION QUOTE QUESTION..."
yeesh chimecho do you have enough particles yet????
i really wanted to see this dialogue because she breaks the 4th wall in english and i don't think i even know about that as a kid and it made me laugh when i found out :3
#mine#its a bit tough because i end up in the mood to play vidya almost every day#but i dont feel like minecraft these days (sad) but i also dont always feel like pmd#because it takes so much mental effort i mean its basically just a maximally fun study session#since i literally have a billion jisho tabs open as i pick up new words and im constantly digging into sentences#the niche that y0 occupied where i could play it with exactly the right amount of thought#and with a GREAT deal of interest and enjoyment#is empty until i can get my hands on kiwami#which will be the 30th OR whenever my mom sells more of my stuff on her social media#whichever comes first...cross your fingers#so lately i just kind of flop around like a fish#anyway. i do want to do a little job grinding but we're coming up on the apple woods section so you'll see that soon#i typically do marowak right before the expedition so we'll see that too#and then it's off to fogbound lake!! wheeeee#still don't know when im gonna do the special episodes...i might just save them for a while#we'll see#pokemon fushigi no diary

CisLunar DevLog #4: Ginga
Aiyetoro Madzimoyo III
Another instalment of development posts is here! Today we are going to be discussion the last side character of the group--Prince Ginga Aiyetoro Madzimoyo III. Out of all of the characters, his design had the least amount of drastic changes. I refined some of the details of his character and his style.
His design stems from a doodle session I had on 4/1/22--I only know the date because I actually dated these doodles lol. As you can see, he was always thought of to be princely, but was originally just going to be a subject for a painting and never used again. It was when I decided to make CisLunar a bigger story that I thought of including him in. The idea of three shady individuals (Lunar, BonBon, and Champs) happily socializing with an extremely high ranking person intrigued me so Ginga was added along with his status.
Even at this stage, I had already given him the name Ginga. I off and on study Japanese and one of my favorite words is ginga, which means galaxy (and I believe it is used for the Milky Way as well but don't quote me on that). I just like the phonetic sounds of it. However, I wanted a strong African influence to him as well. To make a long story short, in my younger years of creating I've been embarrassed and made fun of writing things about my race. It's only in my 20s that I started finally reclaiming that part of me and embracing writing/drawing black characters. With that being said, I wanted his middle and last name to be African to tie him to the culture. Plus like afrofuturism is really cool and I wanted to dabble in creating in that genre. This is where we get his middle and last name: Aiyetoro (Nigerian meaning peace of earth) and Madzimoyo (meaning nourished by water; unfortunately I couldn't find specifically where this name originates within Africa).
He's also the 3rd because I like giving my royalty character suffixes like that.
Another thing Ginga always has is his horn. I've always found horns very magical and mystical and as the Prince of the Cosmos, I imagine Ginga to be a very magical guy lol
Ginga also has human ears. When I set him in this animal appendaged world, I didn't realize that he is the only one in the cast (outside of Cis the Parasite) that has human ears. So I came with an answer as to why: cause he's magical.
At this point, I made him BonBon's boyfriend because I thought it would be cute to have 2 couples in the story. Plus there's an opposites attract thing and I like that trope. It's my story and I get to do whatever I want lolol
Another thing was him being a run away from home for very dire reasons. I'm very poor at writing action stories, so I scratched that out. He still leaves home a lot, but now its because he won't be ruling for a long time so he's just living his life lol. I also went back and forth on his eye color. I finally settled on blue as I liked the contrast against his skin.
As I continued drawing him, a new thing started happening--I began giving him what I can only call a lizard like smile. I did it once for some reason, but I just thought he looked cute with it. So Ginga also has a little reptilian in him as well because, you know, magic. I like to think his birth is peculiar because he's ruling over the stars you know? You kinda have to have a lot things happening to rule over several planets and galaxies. At this stage in his design however, I was already ready to change some things about him. His color scheme matched with Champs, and while they are foils, I didn't want them to wear the same exact colors. I also didn't like that I didn't really try to make his royal attire look regal. So when I started redesigning everyone, I jumped at the chance to make my prince look princely.
Which brings us to our first final sketch! I based his attire based on traditional Nigerian clothing. I made the sleeves a bit puffier to add the grandeur along with a flowy sash. As you can tell, I switch colors around. It was originally orange! I'm very aware that I like using cool colors with a lot of my drawings because I favor them, and I was going to use warmer tones to add some more brightness to the group. However, the orange didn't feel like Ginga to me so I changed it to this really lovely turquoise. in this sketch I loosely mapped out where all of his embroidery and detailing is, but when I do more detailed art I'll add it in. I'm very happy with this! I wanted it to be very special but also easy enough for me to do over and over again. But we don't stop there with Ginga. He wouldn't always hang out with his underworld pals in his robes, plus he needs to blend in or else crowds will follow him. So he has two designs!
Yaaaay!
And surprise! The pearls are a headdress he wears! I made this decision before writing this post actually! For the longest time, the pearls were actually his hair, because magic, but when I sketching out his casual outfit, I really liked him without the pearls. So headdress it is!
Speaking of his outfit, I decided to base it off of some Japanese street styles I saw pics of on pinterest. Ginga is an aquatic type of alien, and I like to think his kinds needs to have some coverage to keep from drying out. I also see him as the type of guy who dresses the complete opposite of how he has to dress while attending royal things. The color scheme came about because we were missing some pastel colors in the lineup, and I think pastels show a sense of peace, calm, and naive cuteness to a character which describes Ginga to a tee. His headphones are from his magic, by the way!
Whoo! We did it! The characters for this part of the stream lore (yes there are more parts planned) are complete!
It may be a little while until the next dev log as I need to make things for it, but it will probably be about some of the artists I created that plays on Cosmic Canary radio! I'm going to actually spend some time working on one now. Here's a preliminary sketch as a teaser~
Thank you so much for reading~
Seeee youuuuu next time!

I think I've loved every single hairstyle on Mingi. He has such a great face, it seems to work with everything — I like his shorter hair, his longer hair, his mullet, and everything in between!
You know, I never even considered that those little polaroid albums could be photocard holders! It's such a good idea.
Omg! That's soooo many albums!! An actual MOUNTAIN of albums. I bet you were excited when they all arrived! I would've been losing my shit. Ohhhh, I have the limited All to Action, too! You did well to get that as a surprise! 🍀
Your K-pop centre looks amazing! Full, yes, but amazing~! I think it'd be SO easy to have an entire room bursting with merch! Collecting kpop stuff is so dangerous... for your finances AND your sanity. I would spiral so fast. 😭🌀💸
I got the tarot deck from a Kickstarter, they're by an artist called Bana! They're very pretty! Although, they're a bit big. I think the normal/glossy decks are smaller/the usual size. But I saw the word 'holographic' and I couldn't resist. It was like I was having a flashback to collecting shiny trading cards as a kid. So, now I have to shuffle them with the widest hand stretch known to man. But it's worth it~!
That deck you have is super cool! I love dark and mysterious things! Why not add a little drama, and a little spooky mystique, to a reading? Waittttt, there's a Star Trek deck?? Thinking about it, I suppose there's probably a few at this point. TOS is one of my comfort shows! And I also adore the alternate original/kelvin films! ✨
If you haven't already, I hope you watch Lucky Oppa! Woosanhwa are so comfortable and relaxed on that show. The vibe is great. It's wholesome. They're eating well. They're surrounded by a soft pink aesthetic. I loved everything about it. There's also an episode with Wonho... which somehow has the opposite vibe?? He seems so nervous/shy!
Exactly! NO ONE is asking for the queer community to get any special treatment. All anyone wants is to be treated the same, to be treated equally, without any conditions. Queer hosts/fans/friends should be communicated with in the exact same manner that cishet hosts/fans/friends are. It's not a big ask.
One Day at a Time is such an amazing song!!! (I think they're all amazing, obviously, but you get it! It's important to me AND it's amazing!) I played it in my mom's car the other day... and she turned it down to talk, I was so OFFENDED. 😂 Good lil Boy!! That's a great one. I'm gonna be SO interested in what you choose in the end. There really is SO MUCH choice. 😂
I've recently discovered a similar shop to the one you mention! It's a few hours from here. But they're a queer, inclusive, body positive tattooist and the energy seems great!
Oh, you're so right! I've never really thought about it but Joong ALWAYS looks amazing with unnatural hair colours! And I think San does too?? Pink, red, blue. They all looked stunning on him! Though, I have to admit, the pink still has me in a chokehold. 😭😂
OMG. Wooyoung looks so TINY in that picture? And adorable?? I love him so much. 🥺
Talking of men looking tiny... have you seen this picture of Hongjoong and Mingi that's doing the rounds? It reminds me of that one stage where Joong appeared behind Seonghwa, with that backpack, looking like the smallest man in the world. 🥺💖
Did you see the kcon check in mission where Yunho had to hug everyone??Jongho was NOT getting hugged that day. 🐻 Him and Joong really said no thank you. be gone. 😂 Meanwhile, there's nothing that would improve my mood faster than a Yunho hug! 🤷♀️😂
I absolutely love the polaroid flip books. These ones hold 96 pcs each. The only thing is that if you have baseball card or Japanese sleeves they won’t fit - just a hair too big. But I found American Standard sleeves (56x87mm) work perfectly — Ryker and Ultra Pro both make good, sturdy ones in that size (I prefer DragonShield but couldn’t find the right size V_V).
Kpop is such a money drain, you’re entirely right. And I just learned OnlyOneOf is finally putting out a nightstick. Super excited but please I need to save money (I also need to get Ateez’s summer phonebook but I might wait until my friend gets hers in - she bought two and is selling one so I might snag that instead since I don’t need the pobs.) I finally got the blue and yellow Movements in, so my Ateez albums are complete — now just need to hunt for pcs for each of the albums.
I love holographic cards lbvs - they are so pretty - I may look and see if there’s a way to get them in the US now that the kickstarter has ended 🤔 And yes! They have a TNG one - which is the one I want, TNG and DS9 are my two favorite series; and they also apparently have a TOS one.
The TOS Deck
TNG Deck
I don’t personally care for the Kelvin films >.< - I’m a sucker for the og; I like TOS and as I said above, TNG and DS9 are my two favorites (Quark brings me so much joy, the little troll, I l love him) and I really am enjoying SNW …. Definitely have a crush on Pike and Spock, as well as Ortega.
I will definitely watch it! I have been watching some non-kpop stuff lately that I needed to catch up on lol - so I will have to watch it here soon! I adore Wonho 😭 I miss him - will have to watch that too.
Yesss, I like pink Joong but I have a particular soft spot for his Cruella de Ville hair from Guerrilla ngl, esp with the ponytail.
Omg he looks so TINY. I know it’s an optical illusion but it’s hilarious; they have bookend rappers - the tall big one and the tiny lil one lol.
I have seen that video of Yunho, I howled. Jongho and Joong both were ready to throw hands when he came for them 😂 Poor Hwa just looked confused and then resigned like, well, this is my life now.
Oh my god WATERBOMB. I hung out with my friends yesterday and we spent a solid like 3 hours talking about it, did you see them?! Idk what gave them the frickin’ right to act out like that but they need to be stopped. Mingi and San especially!?!?!? Like guys please, I am not your strongest soldier here. I simply cannot. (And then with Taemin performing today - It’s been a… Tense weekend lmao
But these finally came in, I am delighted. Displaying them on my desk is not enough, I need them with me at all times, they are so cute 😭

its also so fun when you play gbf and you add a character to your party because theyre useful and they are so good you genuinely start to care for them (zehek my beloved/ also fire yuisis is such a beast, she is literally insane) because they keep showing up on the frontlines and eagerly helping you out. they became blorbo because they worked for it.
oh TOTALLY and also MOOD FOR FIRE YUISIS!!!
she was one of my very early unit so originally she was in my fire team mostly out of "i don't have much else", but after seeing just how hard she was going about it, i ended up caring for her so much???? After that even though i started to get meta units i couldn't replace her for the longest time, i kept wanting to have her in my main line.
(i think i finally benched her only when i got the combo of Grand with Percival/Michael/Wilnas but i legit had her in my main fire team for years only due to that)
That's also how i ended up loving Nicholas!!! His dark unit was one of my very first unit, and originally he was just very useful because of his protection kit, but i remember especially that i was totally thrown out by the contrast of his unit's art VS his voice. Like he looked like the greatest edgelord of all time, and then he opens his mouth and he's the most cheerful guy you've ever heard. The guy carried me during my baby days bc he has a good kit, and eventually i read the Robomi saga only because i had grown to care about him so much that i needed to understand what was up with that. And then i ended up loving him even more! Even now while I have a lot more useful characters, sometimes with low stakes i bring him in the back just because. he's my bestie i want him to stay with me!!!
almost exact same thing happened with Gawain - his wind was one of my first unit, i knew he was linked to the kishi saga but in a weird way, and since he was a defense unit i was finding him rather useful. I got excited from playing him a lot and then he turned out to be a bitch in the FE, but i had grown to like him so much at this point that i couldn't go back and i've been a Gawain stan ever since (which served me SO WELL, i played the long game and the next year Savior of Dalmore came out and now everyone appreciates MY rude little meow meow!!!!)
also i bring those two up like that bc ironically both are voiced by the same VA so i definitely feel like this was a call out for me, bc i really did flag both of them as "big brother material" right away (esp after learning said VA voiced one of the character who has heavily impacted my childhood, on an anime i rarely watched in Japanese. I watched it recently in Japanese with a friend and i was like "ehehe look i love him, best-worst big brother of all t- wait why do i know his Japanese vo- WHAT THE FUCK.")
Altair also definitely counts in this category, he was the SSR i got from my SSR beginner ticket so he carried me early on, so i liked him soso much. Thanks to him i had a set up for "full team CA at first turn" before Relic Buster existed, and i was so proud of my set up. But now with RB he's basically obsolete.....
i'm sure there's more characters who would apply but those in particular really stood out to me bc i genuinely adore them so much and it really was first because of how useful they were.
really peak type of blorbos <333 so glad you had that too!!

Here’s a random reylo ask for ya- did you ever have any theories/HCs early on in shipping reylo (cuz I believe you’ve said you were shipping since TFA) which you didn’t end up being into as much, or at all anymore as TST progressed?
Hello! Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this.
Story Time
So I saw TFA the second day it came out. I left rather bewildered- one, because a new actor I'd never seen before in my life (adam driver) gave such an unorthodox performance I couldn't stop thinking "The fuck does this guy think he's doing???" namely the interrogation scene where I don't think any other actor would have, nor could have, played it the way he did. I'm still shocked by the choices he made with his line delivery in that scene but in the best way possible. It's hard to explain. Anyway, that's one. Two also goes back to that scene. In middle school, back with Tokyo Pop was big, they held their very first manga contest for us regular american people to try our hand at Japanese style manga. Well, I felt like I could write, and my good friend at the time (she still is- we keep in touch!) could draw like a crazy person. So we decided to try for it. The only problem was, being middle schoolers, motivation and scheduling wasn't our forte. I did manage to write a short script excerpt of a story that had been brewing in my head for awhile at the time, and while I think I did eventually hand it over to her (I was suffering from perfectionism), the art never happened. We tried again in high school but then high school angst got in the way and it still didn't happen. Regardless, I still now had the only real concrete piece of writing for this story I had been sitting on for a couple years now.
Eventually....well, time moved on.
Cue "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", a sequel film I was INCREDIBLY skeptical about. I'd been watching star wars my entire life. My dad took me as a little kid to the big deal re-screenings of the original trilogy they did nationwide before the prequels came out. I had a lot of Opinions on this movie series. I had just moved to NYC and was out for a walk when I passed by Bloomingdales and saw, a bit to my shock, that their store windows were full of (allegedly) screen-used costumes and props from the upcoming TFA movie. I crept closer, had a look. Han Solo was the only thing I recognized. The rest? Unfamiliar. Alien. I had seen zero promotional images for this movie before encountering these windows and had only heard some things. I made guesses as to what everything was, before rounding the corner and being confronted with an irrationally tall costume. "Oh, is this the darth vader rip-off? lmao" (the only thing I had concretely heard about). "This guy had to be on stilts surely??" Kylo Ren. Funny at first, but the longer I stared at it, I shit you not, the more unsettled I got. I actually got *scared* staring at this costume. I took one very poor, very shaky picture, and basically ran away. (I regret not taking a better photo but oh well). I run into an article the next day at work about the movie and it happens to have the trailer and I decide, sure, ok, I'll give it a watch. Those windows were interesting at least. I basically had my tickets bought by the end of the day. So here we are, back to the theatre, sitting here as this audacious actor delivers the most ballsy performance I've seen the whole film as he interrogates the heroine, and I listen to what he's saying, and then, it hits me.
This. Is my story. These are my lines. I wrote this exact same exchange in middle school.
What the fuck??
This meant a lot of things to me. This meant that I knew where this story was going, and where it was going I liked very much. I went back to see the movie again a second time about a week or two later. I had to be sure-- I wasn't just imposing what was already inside my brain all these years onto a totally different story on the screen, was I? I watched, and waited. And sure enough....no, no it had to be it. These two? I know exactly how this is going to go down.
A few months later I visited back home and even managed to dig through a box and find my old script. I read through it, sort of shaking a little. My heroine- Light- had also been captured- by the Dark- and the song and dance were the same- Where am I? Does it matter? I can see everything. I'm not giving you anything. A summary, and as some years have passed again I have lost the print out in a box again, but some of the dialogue was ver batum.
I knew exactly where this new star wars story was going because I already wrote the damn thing in middle school, word for word, and if you thought for one second I wasn't going to tune in and defend this arc, that I never managed to get published myself at 13, with swords and shields and knives for my own personal middle school catharsis then you were dead wrong, my friend.
This may have seemed like a very round-about way of answering this question, but I wanted to give context, substance, because all of this ^^^^^ up here? It defines, explicitly, why I'm even here to begin with, and why I fought so hard from day one. There was nothing to abandon, or question, or shed. Because I already knew this story by heart. I had already written it!! And I still think ants and DLF and JJ Abrams and Terrio and the rest of those bastards can pry it from my cold dead hands, because truly they butchered my baby and while I may live with that, I'll never forget it.
Thank you for the ask, friend.

A Game With The Owner Of The Kitsune Bar - Shylock - April Fool's 2022 SR
-- Chapter 1
(Location: Shylock's bar, day)
Patron: Haah… The sake served here is exceptional as always, Shylock. I'll have another bottle of the same.
Shylock: Thank you very much. However, please be careful not to overindulge.
Shylock: May I offer some warm snacks to avoid getting overly intoxicated? I personally recommend the "Fluffy-soft Simmered Fried Bean Curd".
Patron: Oh, that sounds great. That's a popular dish among fox yōkai, right?
Patron: Speaking of foxes… Hey, does that purple-haired fox come around these days?
Shylock: Are you referring to Murr? I haven't seen him around in a while.
Shylock: He's a fickle and whimsical creature - I couldn't hope to anticipate when he'll stop by next.
Patron: That's a shame. I quite like to gamble with him while sipping on your delicious sake.
Shylock: Oh? As the master of this establishment, I simply can't allow my guests to go without entertainment.
Shylock: If you wish to gamble, I will offer myself as your partner. I don't know if I can provide the exact same excitement as Murr, but if you'd like, I would be happy to play a round.
Patron: Oh, those dice and that bowl… Are you sure it's okay? I'd love to, but if I win, wouldn't you be upset…?
Shylock: Fufu, I won't be losing easily.
Riquet: ……..
(location: shylock's bar, evening)
Shylock: Riquet, now that the shop is closed, let's settle in for the evening.
Shylock: Now, what shall we have for tonight's meal? …Riquet?
Riquet: Shylock, what were you doing with that customer that just left? The thing with the dice?
-- Chapter 2
(location: Shylock's bar, evening)
Shylock: My, you truly are observant. It's a game called Chinchillorin.
Riquet: "Chinchillorin"…?
Shylock: Yes. You shake three dice in this bowl, and determine the winner based on the outcome of the rolls.
Shylock: But it isn't simply about whose numbers are bigger - you may also achieve a better score if you roll several of the same number, or a particular set of numbers in sequence.
Riquet: Wow… it looks really interesting!
Shylock: I don't run my games as seriously as a true betting house would, though. Sometimes I may join in several rounds myself, or discount the entry fee for particularly sharp players.
Riquet: A betting house…? So the game is gambling? That's immoral, Shylock.
Shylock: It's just a little bit of extra entertainment at the restaurant - and not as sinful as you may think, Riquet.
Shylock: If you wish to bet something, it needn't be money, but can instead be something much sweeter. For example... the right to decide what's on the menu for this evening.
Riquet: …I see… Does that mean that, if I win at Chinchillorin, I can pick whatever I want for dinner?
Shylock: That's right. What do you think, Riquet? Why don't you try a round, and then you can decide if it's truly immoral?
Riquet: …Okay. I wouldn't want to assume things about a subject I'm unfamiliar with, after all.
Shylock: Well then, Riquet - what would you like to have for dinner?
Riquet: I want to eat egg kinchaku.*
Shylock: Hm… then I will be in favor of inari.
Riquet: Oh, yay! Both options are delicious.
Shylock: Then, the stakes are set as kinchaku versus inari. Let the match begin.
--
TN: kinchaku (literally "pouch") is a japanese food item where a filling - in this case it's egg - is wrapped in a fried tofu "wrapper" and cinched at the top, like a little pouch. inari is fried tofu - shylock is cooking it in his chibi 4koma, and traditionally it's said to be a favourite food of fox spirits.
Bonus: home screen tap line
"Aburaage", is it? So it is is an ingredient used in the Sage's world? The word is entirely unfamiliar, but for some reason, the thought of it sets my heart alight with an uneven pounding... what a curious feeling.
(TN: aburaage is also a fried tofu snack. his fox senses must be tingling)

Hi! Can you write Jotaro reacting to his small s/o cursing out someone twice their size in their own native language? I think his reaction would be funny if he could tell that the victim was trying to insult them and then his s/o goes off
-----
Jotaro Kujo x gn! small! reader
Omg yesssss
Since you didn't say which Jotaro, Imma just choose the SDC one
Also, this is my first request ever on this platform- and I just recently joined so----yee thank you, I hope that is what you wanted & I hope you enjoy
TW: a bit of swearing
Japanese
Readers native language
I suck at titles, help
Tiny body with a big voice
Jotaro watched (Y/N) as they waddled infront of him, excitement clear in their face.
It's been a very long time since they were in their homecountry, let alone the city they were born and spent their whole childhood in. (Y/N) could barely contain their emotions as they walked through all too familiar streets, passed all too familiar buildings, many of them looking the exact same as they remembered.
The (Y/HC)-haired turned around, walking backwards, to look at Jotaro. "I'm so excited to show you around! There are so many cool, abandoned places I used to play detectives with my childhood friends! Oh, we could go to my favorite food place too! I swear, their food is the. best!"
The corners of Jotaro's mouth rose ever so slightly, only visible to those who pay very close attention to it. He, too, could feel a slight tingle of excitement in his stomach, not only because (Y/N)'s excitement was so contagious, but because he was geniunely interested to find out more about his lover's country, culture and childhood.
They have been lovingly pestering him for months about flying to their homecountry, wanting to travel with him without having to stress out about possible stand user attacks.
He couldn't fight back a smile at his lover's wide grin and bone-breaking hug when he finally said 'yes' to the idea, covering it up with a tilt of his cap and his signature "Yare yare daze..."
"Just don't get us lost.", his deep voice paired with his intimidating resting face made a few people around them stare, slightly concerned for the (Y/HC)-haired, since they were so short and seemed so fragile, easily broken physically and mentally. The fact that the people didn't understand a word they said didn't make things better.
(Y/N) just giggled and took the black-haired's huge hands in their much smaller ones and began to lead him down the road, ignoring all the stares.
The taller one let them drag him from place to place, listening to them rambling on and on about whatever they had to say, occasionly adding something from his own childhood suitable for the conversation.
It was safe to say that the both of them were happy with their choice to travel there. They opened up more and more to each other, strengthening their bond and relationship.
As it was getting darker they decided to head back to the hotel they checked in earlier that day. The (Y/EC)-eyed one swung theirs and Jotaro's hand back and forth a bit, a slight skip in their step.
The black-haired wondered how they still got so much energy after walking around the whole day, climbing hills and jumping around on playgrounds.
"Oh? Isn't that the little midget? Oh, it is!"
(Y/N) stopped dead in their track, immediately recognizing that voice. Jotaro stopped as well and looked down to his better half, confused, before locking eyes with the source of the voice.
It was a teenager with a buzz cut, a little shorter than Jotaro. He had a smug grin on his face as he stepped closer to the couple, his hands in the pockets of his jeans jacket. "Oh, would you look at that? You were able to get yourself a living ladder."
"Go away, Drake, your insults are lame."
He stopped right infront of them and slightly leaned over (Y/N), throwing a shadow over them, "I just try to go easy on you. Don't want you to start crying and cause a scene.", his grin grew a bit. Jotaro didn't understand a single word and just stared the guy down, having the feeling he was trouble.
"I hate you with every inch of my body, you know that?"
"Thank god, that aint't a lot of inches then.", he laughed and then turned his attention to the taller male, "But seriously, you must be retarded if you hang out with that dwerf...You even listening? Man, your mind seems to be fucked up just like your choice of clothi-”
"Would you shut the fuck up!?"
Both of the boys slightly flinched at their sudden outburst. Even Jotaro's eyes widened slightly, never in the world would he have expected that his lover was even able to be so loud.
The (Y/HC)-haired pressed their index finger against Drake's chest, "Listen up, Buddy. Take all your self-doubt and go talk to someone instead of letting out your frustration on others! I am sick of being your god damn punching bag!"
Jotaro listened with widened eyes. He didn't know what exactly was going on, but seeing his lover so angry and passionate about what they were saying made him a little proud. He coulodn't help it but to cheer them on internally.
Especially seeing how small Drake suddenly seemed to be, compared to (Y/N), completely taken aback from their words.
(Y/N) rarely stood up for themself, both Jotaro and Drake knew that, making that situation even more surprising and scary, mostly for Drake.
After their yelled speech, Drake wasted no time and got out of there. They sighed and ran a hand through their hair, "Sorry about that...", they muttered as they looked up at their boyfriend. He, however, was still stuck thinking about the way they were glaring at that guy, not sure if he actually found it cute in a way or downright terrifying.
The black-haired tilted the brim of his cap downward, muttering, "Yare yare daze...", under his breath.
That was an interesting day for sure.

I'm going to do a Definitive Ranking of the top ten bnha ships because... Well because Im tired and also read a really cute nejiyuyu fic this morning anyway:
10- Melissa/Shoji. No I will not elaborate.
9- Any combo of the alleyway trio. Truly incredible, iconic, let them fight in more alleyways together please. "It's your power" "you can't suffer my mistakes" "I've never seen Ingenium make that face" hello. Battle couples galore.
8- any combo of the golden trio. Green tea is adorable. Iideku chapter almost gave me motivation back. Iida and Uraraka truly are the most capable couple in the class and also a battle couple too. All three can hold hands too.
7- Inko/Toshi/Dave I'm a genius ok I know.
6- Masaki/Tensei, I just know they'd vibe if they'd ever interact with each other. I want Tensei to gush about Masaki saving everyone who survived Jakku ok. I want them yelling at Tenya together.
5- RockLock and his wife, hori give me her name or else I love her ok
4- Fuyuhana- the inherit tension between two eldest daughters who were constrained to futures as housewives by very similar fathers for nearly opposite reasons who couldn't save their brothers that turned murderous who's family comes crashing down who show strength in opposite ways and one deceives others and one deceives herself and the tragedy that they will never meet due to one dying at a child decades ago. But hey that's what fic is for
3- Nejiyuyu- truly a bonus for those looking at the character pages. Yuyu likes cute things and thinks Nejire is the cutest. Nejire's favorites were translated into English as lilies except the exact same word with the same spelling and pronunciation in Japanese is "Lesbian genre stories" so. You know. And yeah as a bonus I do sometimes throw Melissa in there but these two deserve more content anyway
2- Duo (/Trio) Holders- literally nothing funnier than the fandom deciding that Second and First had to be romantic and that's how the quirk was first passed on, and also on no evidence said that Second probably rescued First from the vault. And then they were correct and also got an extra holder thrown in the for so many different fun options.
1- Miritama. Hori really did just make them soulmates who can sense each other's pain with no explanation but a whole lot of innuendo. Showstopping.
