Just got put on hold to "In the Hall of the Mountain King." Between fits of incredulous laughter I wondered what message the company was trying to send. My guess is they thought "A rotating playlist of recognizable classical music sends a classy and professional tone," but all I heard was "You're about to be sent on a wild phone call goose chase you stupid asshat, so you better buckle up your five-point harness and brace for the most frustration you've ever felt in your life."

Song of Norway (1970) is a bad film by any metric. A musical based on Grieg's life - if by "based on Grieg's life" you mean "had almost nothing to do with it" - it was a critical and commercial failure.

Probably what is both the most memorable and goofiest segment is the trolls part (you know, all big musicals back then had a live action and animation section). It would not be worth mentioning were it not for the fact that virtually all of the trolls are based on the great Theodor Kittelsen's artwork.
