How would Fortune find out if one of the kids is the traitor? (Cannon wise or HC)
Considering the TABF verse veers from canon after the Paranormal Liberation Front war arc, there's technically nothing to expose the traitor/make them come forward like what happens in the manga since most of what happens in canon after that arc doesn't happen in TABF thanks to Shigaraki dying cause he didn't get revived due to the LoV failing to get the Quirk-erasing bullets and AFO never getting released from jail.
So things can go two ways: Either I don't have the traitor revealed or something like the traitor accidentally revealing themselves/they willingly come forward after the LoV has all officially been apprehended.
While I'm honestly perfectly fine with the traitor remaining a secret after seeing their circumstances in canon, if I were to have Fortune find out the truth, I'm thinking it would happen accidentally like via the traitor getting hit by a Quirk that makes them confess or they get into an accident which leads to them saying things they wouldn't normally say due to their injuries/the medication they're on.
I don't have an idea that's set in stone, but the only thing I do know is that Fortune wouldn't out them to the police if they are one of her students because she trusts them and knows they didn't do what they did because they wanted to, and her top priority is always to protect her students.
So, at the minimum, only Fortune, Aizawa, and Nedzu would hear the truth in the TABF verse, because Fortune trusts the other two whom I also think wouldn't want to turn a student over to the police especially when it would really be unnecessary at this point now that everyone in the LoV has been taken care of.

School Briefs Vol 3 summary - TABF comparison
This is for @thelazyhermits and her My Hero Academia fanfic series, Toward a Bright Future!
Here's Volume 3! Keep your ears open for the next one!
Volume 03 - Dorm Days
Cheers - After visiting the students' homes to move them to the dorms, Aizawa and All Might drop into a bar for a drink. Things turn rowdy when Mic hears about it, and soon all the U.A. teachers are there, getting drunk and singing, much to All Might's discomfort.
IIRC, Aizawa wanted to get the kids into the dorm as soon as possible after the summer camp fiasco, so while he's calling the parents of the kids, he'd likely be searching for Y/N instead of going for a drink. If this ever takes place, it'd be after Y/N is finally rescued and recovered, since he'd be hovering over her 24/7 otherwise. Y/N isn't much of a drinker so I imagine she'd rather be at the dorms with the kids instead of joining in, so I don't think this would change from canon except with a lot more relieved chitchat about their trouble magnet colleague.
A Dramatic Makeover - It's moving day for Class 1-A into their new dorm at Heights Alliance, with varying problems. While Yaoyorozu is trying to pare down her possessions to fit in the dorm, Todoroki, lamenting the lack of tatami mats and Japanese adornments, goes on an adventure of his own, gets caught up in some of Hatsume's shenanigans, and helps rescue Recovery Girl from the rogue babies.
Again, as you mentioned, the moving-in happens in bits and pieces while Y/N is  absent, and since Todoroki is already moved in, this subplot for him is a non-issue. If he was that dissatisfied with the furniture, I can imagine him, Y/N and Uraraka going furniture hunting when it was just the three of them. This chapter would probably just be the two of them welcoming their classmates into Heights Alliance, while still trying to restrain their worry about Y/N. (Tokoyami, Bakugou and Mineta would be some of the earlier ones, and as per my head canon, if Mineta's chat with the two of them was going to happen anywhere, it'd be here).
Playtime is Over - Monoma is caught peeping into 1-A's dorms, and is taken on an impromptu tour of the dorms to compare the dorms of the two classes. Kendou, Tsunotori and Tetsutetsu come to retrieve him after a while, and when Monoma sees the two classes getting along, demands a game to satisfy his sense of competition. Todoroki obliges with a toy he got from Hatsume, which proves to be more than meets the eye.
This would probably happen during the dinner that Y/N holds for 1-A and 1-B upon her return to the dorms. While Monoma probably wouldn't be as antagonistic due to Y/N being present, he'll still be pretty obnoxious, but in the end, Todoroki will win the argument with six words: "Does your dorm have pillow forts?"
The Hundred Tales of UA - Some of the kids are sharing ghost stories with each other, but one of Tokoyami's stories prove to be a little more real than anyone would like. A series of investigations ensue that end with a rain-drenched Present Mic, a demolished entryway, and a VERY unhappy Aizawa.
Again, Y/N's not one for horror, so I don't think she'd want anything to do with this, but when the shenanigans start up, it'd be a simple matter of her getting a vision to get the answers she needs. Failing that, I can almost envision some of the more panicky students running to her for comfort, and her having to manage her own fear to support them.
A Day in the Life of a Class President - Iida is going about his day when he begins to notice his classmates acting fairly weirdly. He wonders what's going on and if he offended them, but it turns out that they were busy setting up a surprise party for his birthday.
Now this is something Y/N would definitely get into. There are two ways I think this might go. If the kids want Y/N to help with the cooking, she, Satou, Yaoyorozu and some others will handle the cake and dinner while the rest run interference (with varying succcess). If not, Y/N might volunteer to take Iida out for some errands (shopping, stuff at U.A., etc.) while his friends prepare the surprise back at the dorm. Maybe they can meet Tensei at lunch too!
I Am A Rabbit - Written from the perspective of Kouda's rabbit Yuwai, he gets out of Kouda's room one time and leads Midoriya and Bakugou on a merry chase around the dorms.
I can envision Y/N falling in love with the rambunctious bunny, knowing her love for cute animals, and she enjoys keeping an eye on him just as much as the stray cats around the dorm. However, I can also imagine an incident where she learns she shouldn't take care of both at once; it's a little more than she can handle.

2017. October. Again, we are in Tokyo.
Tumblr media
This post is not meant to be a guide to or review of Japan.  Well, not the kind with opening hours, must-sees and landmarks.  What has struck me this time is the beauty in diversity.  In the space between language barriers. In the beauty of creating.
Tumblr media
handkerchief maker at TABF
Perhaps, the streaming of daily news and events over the past year, fears and insecurities that wake us before morning have made me seek remedies from being kind, aware and mindful. Recognizing beauty in front of me, around me.  An increased sense of obligation to create and share. Recognize overt and hidden talents of people across a spectrum of skills and choices. Acknowledge. Encourage. Appreciate. Inspire. This is in our power.  This is how we medicate helplessness from headlines and back stories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am not running from shrine to shrine.  I am not navigating mechanized crowds through stop lights and cross-walks.  I am not searching for restaurants.  No subway stop sampling of neighborhoods. I am satisfied being absent of must-see lists or 72 hours in Tokyo recommendations letting my own awareness guide me through the hours.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first time I visited, Tokyo was overwhelming. In a way, disappointing.  I was looking for ‘authentic’ Japan, not avenues lined with generic signs of luxury. Eating was challenging. Fish stock in one form or another is often the first ingredient in dining options. Not good for vegan life or if bending the rules, vegetarian.
Tumblr media

later the same day-pushing through the call of sleep
The language is difficult to interpret.  In other tongues, I mumble sounds or see hidden words in different arrangements of familiar letters. Add my own pronunciations and use hands to translate”this is deliciousoso, scuz-a-me, where is subwayo or choo choo?  Me, vegan, make a fish face and use my hands to say no.

figuring it out
With a different alphabet, I stare at phrases thinking they will focus into a piece I can understand. I  rely on images . On packages of sealed food, pictures of berries and nuts mean a better selection than pictures of a smiling chicken or fish. I learned to take a couple of zeros off currency and figure out a short taxi ride is not $1000. I hold loose coins in an open palm and slide my hand over to cashiers. At ATM’s I look for an English text box but often withdraw too much or too little.  I learned not to open the door of a taxi. The driver does it from a control on his dashboard.

After a few days of my Tokyo #1 visit, 2008, I began to understand the magic of the city but too close to departure.  Magic tied into the way the city operates.  The politeness.  The patience. The attention to detail. Big animated smiles that monopolize faces. Organization and cleanliness. An absence of American urban rush hour havoc. A politeness that glides people through the day.
Tumblr media
It’s not that Tokyo is my favorite place to visit over and over again.  The first two trips were to visit friends who hosted and chauffeured us inside and outside of the city.  I learned the metro system from taking trains in wrong directions. Getting stopped at turnstiles. Figuring out underground mazes. Tokyo started to make sense.  The third and fourth trips were for the Tokyo Art Book Fair (TABF) where billy was juried into the fair and welcomed into the international section.
set-up, 2017!-warehouse terrada, shinagawa
set-up, 2017!
Tumblr media
Tokyo started to come together.  The fair, four days, brought us into a Tokyo different than before. Rather, TABF brought Tokyo to us. A destination where local Tokyo and visiting foreigners spend time with artist made books and the artists who create them.  Where language needs little translation. “How much? ” “How do you do this?” and “Where are you from?” start slow conversations that find a way to connect, not frustrate.
Tumblr media
A ubiquitous visual language taking place on multiple floors up and down rows lined with tables of vision and product executed by passionate and humble art-makers.
Tumblr media
There is no interruption or impoliteness from cellphonespeak.  Giggles and clapping hands of enjoyment animate communication. Misunderstood or not understood words don’t matter.  Art is the subject.  Art is the understanding.  Fingers pointing to pages and flipping through books. Gently handling a fabric button. T-shirts and bags with simple illustrations. Explanations that transcend language barriers.  Viral passion for art, and words. Individuality that brought people together shlepping weighed down with suitcases and duffel bags. From Germany, Korea, Singapore, America, Norway, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Paris, London and throughout Japan.
Art-makers morphing into a single we make art culture.
To share–to have a purpose–to bring boxes and bags and hooks and tape to show vision in three-dimension. Helping visitors experience art in traditional forms and new forms. To inspire. To spread a contagious mood of creativity, confidence in individuality.  To remind us of the beauty inside of us and inside others. Or simply to enjoy an autumn afternoon on the way to or from somewhere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no language barrier to smiles and sharing of art.
I observe. As I scan the flow of participants and visitors it reminds me that art connects people. How important this is now, more than ever.  When asked where are we from there is no reference to politics.  No snickering.  No judgment.  We don’t ask questions of our artist neighbors from Korea. There is the only curiosity of the art and appreciation for the artist who have traveled here.
Finding the unexpected on the anniversary of my mom’s death.  My mom who built a menagerie of Bambi relics over 70 years.
Tumblr media
The venue, a warehouse set-up is different from last year’s open campus forum.  Creating some challenges in getting in and out and intermittent rain Japanese patience was its own art form filling the canvas of the street.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What has struck me this trip is the beauty of diversity.  Of foreigners bringing art for people to absorb. Dynamic and in-the-moment sites rather than checking off have-to-see sights from stickie-note tabbed pages in guidebooks. I have seen those sights in past trips, not all of them but that’s okay. Still, I take short escapes to see the Louise Bourgeois “Spider” and a visit to our favorite ceramics gallery.

Food has been better this year.  It still takes planning but the expansion of fresh salad restaurants and vegan cafes gives us default. Fruit stands and natural food markets are not as spread out as before. Yes! to the Happy Cow app and pocket wi-fi.
Tumblr media
It has been a difficult year for us. Not for “us” as in “us” but from events that are part of “us” being “we.” Primarily, billy’s mom with advancing Alzheimer’s forcing her move from our home after four and a half years.  billy’s half-day visits with her every other day stir up anxieties that play into decisions for us to travel, be away. And the unexpected interruption from discovering and treating a Melanoma billy identified on the side of his face. billy’s prep and production for new work and inventory and collaborations fill days and nights. Travel to and from our remote home extends the travel. We navigate doubts and concerns like everything else that makes us “we.” Plus, the “woof!” who is glorious and unconditional but requires extra effort and coordination while we are gone.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here we are, Tokyo v4. I hope the photos and words bring you to into this world of beauty and kindness and inspire you.  For now, more than ever it is a time to make art and create…to see beauty and happiness in faces.
Join the faces.
We are all artists with our own stories and vision. We all have something to share, to connect to soothe our fears. Pick up a pen.  Grab a brush. A bottle of glue. A recipe. Tape. A piece of chalk.  A sharpie.  Leave your doubt at the door. Create!
and when the day is done…..

Here you go @lambreta-do-capeta some Nighteye just for you ;)
A few weeks after the raid on the yakuza base and your subsequent recovery, you begin making visits to the Nighteye Agency per Nighteye’s request. The reason for those visits is because he wanted to train you, more specifically to help you more efficiently use your Quirk for combat purposes.
According to Togata, it’s because his mentor was excited about knowing someone with a Quirk so similar to his own. He thinks that’s why Nighteye took a special interest in you.
While there’s probably some truth to that statement, you mostly figure Nighteye wanted to repay you for saving his life by offering some helpful advice. Unfortunately, most of his advice is usually followed by a lot of criticism.
Of course, you know full well that your fighting skills are far from perfect. You’ll be the first to admit that. However, it doesn’t stop you from feeling annoyed when on the receiving end of Nighteye’s nitpicking.
That’s why it’s not surprising for the two of you to end up squabbling whenever you do visit his agency. You always do your best to avoid starting a fight, but you can’t help it sometimes, especially if you ever catch him being too harsh with Midoriya.
When he visited you at the hospital, Nighteye promised he’d stop trying to force his opinion about Togata being the better suited user of OFA on everyone. However, that didn’t mean he’d stop being critical of your student.
If anything, you think he’s become more critical since agreeing to consider accepting Midoriya as All Might’s successor because he wants the green haired student to meet all his standards. Even though Yagi is always telling his successor to branch out to become his own hero, Nighteye keeps bringing up all the great qualities of All Might that Midoriya must have in order to become the next Symbol of Peace.
As a result, your poor student ended up getting a lot of mixed messages from his mentors. Naturally, you had to eventually intervene by sitting both Yagi and Nighteye down one day and make them talk about their conflicting teaching methods when it comes to helping Midoriya become the next Symbol of Peace.
Unsurprisingly, the freckled boy didn’t utter a single word of complaint about Nighteye’s harsh training. If anything, you’d say it just made Midoriya more determined because he really wants to earn the bespectacled man’s approval.
Thankfully, as of late, things have been smoother with Midoriya’s training thanks to you making Yagi and Nighteye talk things out. Now, both mentors are on the same page, well for the most part anyway.
And, despite occasionally squabbling with him, your training with Nighteye has also been going relatively well. You’ve gotten a lot of pointers to help you become better at reading people’s movements without even having to use your Quirk.
Of course, you practice with your Quirk as well in hopes of steadily improving your time limit. Usually, whenever you’re doing that, you either spar against Togata or Midoriya while Nighteye observes.
For today’s spar, you’re up against your student. Unfortunately, despite how many times he has fought you, the green haired boy still hasn’t found a way to counter your Quirks abilities.
However, that doesn’t mean the fights are always in your favor. After all, even if you read all his movements, that doesn’t change the fact that Midoriya is faster than you when he uses OFA.
As a result, you have to look several steps ahead to make up for your lack of speed so you can actually dodge all of his attacks. Naturally, it puts a strain on you, having to do this, but it’s definitely good practice since you know you won’t always be lucky enough to face an opponent whose movements are slow enough to dodge.
You always enjoy your spars with Midoriya since they push you to improve yourself, and you know he feels similarly. Unfortunately for you, today’s spar doesn’t go as well as your previous ones.
Right in the middle of the fight, your Quirk shows you a vision which makes you freeze in place. What’s so bad about this is that it happens right as Midoriya is in the process of throwing a punch at you.
Unable to stop himself in time, the green haired boy’s eyes widen in horror when his fist makes contact with your nose, hitting it with enough force to break it. This is how you discover that receiving an injury can cause a vision to be stopped prematurely. Apparently, if enough pain invades your senses, your Quirk shuts off.
As a result, shortly after your vision starts, it cuts off, and you find yourself standing before your horrified student as blood pours out of your nose. You wince as you move you cup your hand over your nose in a futile effort to stop the blood flow.
“Mirio, get the first aid kit!”
As Togata rushes out of the room, Nighteye runs over to your position and gently tilts your head back so he can examine your injury while also pulling out a handkerchief to help stem the blood flow. Seconds later, he clicks his tongue before aiming a sharp look in your student’s direction. “Remind me to add learning how to stop an attack at the last minute to your training.”
Because of his shock, Midoriya doesn’t react to his mentor’s words. Instead, he continues to stare at you with wide teary eyes. “I’m so sorry, Sensei! I should’ve been more careful and taken into account the possibility of you receiving a vision while we were sparring. I should’ve-”
You cut him off with a reassuring smile. “It’s alright, Midoriya. It was just an accident and really poor timing on my part. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
Nighteye scoffs, “He should’ve been able to stop the punch before it landed. This proves he still requires a lot more training.”
After saying that, the bespectacled man sighs, “And, please refrain from actually crying, Midoriya. That is the last thing she needs right now.”
At that moment, while the freckled boy is quickly scrubbing at his eyes, Togata arrives with the first aid kit. “Here it is, Sir! Do you want me to do the first aid, or do you plan on doing it?”
Shaking his head, Nighteye accepts the first aid kit from the blond. “I’ll do it. Thank you, Mirio.”
Once you’ve been brought to a bench so you can sit down, the older man begins working on tending to your injury. In the meantime, you decide to bring some levity to the situation by doing what you do best.
“Everything will be fine, Midoriya, but if the worst case scenario happens and I’m no longer fit for marriage, I’ll be counting on you to take responsibility, okay?”
Out of the corner of your eye, you see your student frantically nodding his head. “Of course! I’ll-”
It’s at that moment the meaning of your words properly register in the first year’s mind. Once they do, his whole face turns red. “W-Wait! W-What?! M-Marriage?!”
Togata starts laughing, “Good for you, Midoriya-kun! What a lucky guy you are, getting Sensei as a bride! I’m a little jealous!”
Naturally, this just makes his junior blush harder. “T-Togata-senpai!”
Nighteye just sighs, “Was that really necessary?”
A grin forms on your lips. “Of course, it was. Besides, aren’t you the one always going on about how important a good sense of humor is?”
One of the corners of his lips quirk upwards. “Fair enough.”
After he finishes tending to your injury, you thank the bespectacled man who’s now putting everything away in the first aid kit. Once that’s done, Nighteye raises an eyebrow at you. “I suppose you didn’t have your vision long enough to tell what it was about, or did you actually see something?”
Your earlier grin returns, larger than ever, as you sling an arm across Midoriya’s shoulders. “All I saw was me telling Midoriya my ring size.”
The aforementioned boy makes a choked sound as his face turns scarlet while Togata bursts into a fit of laughter. Meanwhile, Nighteye just shakes his head. “Of course, you did. Why am I not surprised?”
With a shrug, you reply, “Who nose? Maybe you just know us that well? After all, we’ve been having these training engagements for a couple of weeks now ‘cause you want to groom us to become better fighters. Taking that into consideration, it’s not strange for me to propose that we’ve become closer.”
Togata’s laughter grows louder at your puns while Midoriya just hides his flustered expression in his hands all the whole muttering “No more”, no doubt referring to the marriage puns. When your gaze returns to Nighteye, you see him covering the bottom half of his face with his hand.
Although he’s trying to hide his smile, the older man’s amusement is evident in the slight trembling of his shoulders as he tries to refrain from laughing and the fact that you catch a brief glimpse of the upward curve of one of the corners of his mouth.
Your grin grows. This is another bright side of hanging around the Nighteye Agency. You get plenty of opportunities to try out your puns on Nighteye.
Just as Togata said during the Cultural Festival, the bespectacled man is quite fond of puns. As a result, while he always has something to nitpick when it comes to your fighting technique, you’ve never once been criticized when it comes to your sense of humor.
Not too many people can get this kind of reaction from Nighteye, so you are naturally quite proud of yourself for such an accomplishment. Hopefully, with enough time, he’ll come to feel the same way about your fighting skills as he does about your comedic skills.
In the meantime, you’ll keep doing your best. After all, you’re nothing if not determined.

As of right now, in addition to the remaining three chapters of Now It’s My Turn To Make You Smile, I have 5 one shots and a new chapter for A Special Bond written. So there are enough fics for weekly updates to last till around mid July.
I think I’ll take a little break from writing TABF one shots so I can focus on JWTN since I don’t really have any other TABF related ideas I wanna write at the moment. Plus, I really would like to get more chapters written for JWTN since I wanna try finishing it before the year ends.
So, it’s possible weekly updates might come to an end in July depending on what all I end up writing between now and then. I know that’s two months away, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give y’all a heads up ^^
Also, I still plan to write a TABF adaptation of Heroes Rising, but I don’t think it’ll come out on DVD before August. So, that means it’ll probably be either late August or some time in September before the fic gets posted since I intend for it to be pretty long so it’ll take me a little while to write it.

I finished the main story of Pokemon Arceus the other day, and now all I can think about is a TABF Pokemon AU of this where Fortune’s the trainer who fell from the sky with her Slyveon cause like hell Arceaus could separate those two lol
Anyway, like the regular Pokemon AU, Fortune grows up forced to participate in illegal Pokemon fighting rings thanks to Mumei. However, she loses those memories when she gets teleported to the past.
While she still remembers Slyveon, she can’t really remember much else, like in TABF.
However, despite her amnesia, there are still things that stick with her, like her low self worth, her uneasiness around adults, and her fear of incurring their wrath.
Her lack of self-preservation is why she ends up doing so well when she joins the Survey Corps. She’s used to being treated like a tool, so she’s able to get the job done without fear of what could happen to her if she should take one misstep around a rampaging Pokemon.
Despite how scary some of these Pokemon are, Fortune never feels real fear around them since humans are way scarier in her eyes.
I’m not really sure about what all other characters would be in this AU, but I love the idea of Aizawa being in Ingo’s role. He can’t remember his past, but he dutifully does his job as Warden.
He doesn’t know what to think of Fortune at first, but as they spend more time together, he grows steadily protective of her when he sees what a kindhearted person she is and realizes that she’s obviously been through a lot. That’s why he’s not fond of the Survey Corps who he thinks are taking advantage of her.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Aizawa can often be seen accompanying Fortune because in his eyes it’s unreasonable to allow a child to wander dangerous lands on her own, even if she is a capable trainer.
So, when he’s not taking care of his Warden duties, he’s with her, doing his best to keep her alive lol

Got the TABF Encanto AU on my mind. There’s so much stuff I have no idea how would go, but the one thing I know for sure is that I want Fortune in Bruno’s role and Midoriya in Mirabel’s role.
I also want Aizawa & Shinsou to be Fortune’s older and younger brothers. Shinsou is five years younger than her while Aizawa is three years older than her.
Fortune always felt bad for her brothers since, like Bruno, she wasn’t very popular amongst the townsfolk and she hated that her brothers had to be associated with someone like her. She loves her brothers very much and always tried very hard to be someone they wouldn’t be ashamed to call sister.
Aizawa & Shinsou, of course, could care less about what the townsfolk thought. They love their sister and don’t think it’s right how she gets treated because of her foresight.
Unfortunately, a rift does eventually form between the siblings when Fortune foresees their parents’ deaths. Naturally, everyone blames Fortune when her parents do end up dying.
Her brothers don’t, of course, but their parents’ deaths still had a large emotional impact on them. Due to their personalities, Aizawa & Shinsou close themselves off when they grieve, and Fortune takes that the wrong way, thinking they’ve finally realized what a curse she is.
The final straw is when, not long after that, Midoriya’s fifth birthday happens and he doesn’t receive a power. When Fortune has a vision about what’s to happen to the magic, she decides to go into hiding like Bruno in order to protect Midoriya, figuring that’s the only thing someone like her can do to help her family since she doesn’t want him to be a family outcast like her.
As you can expect, Aizawa & Shinsou deal with a lot of guilt because they blame themselves for Fortune running away. This also leads to them becoming distant with their relatives as well since they also blame the family for the suffering Fortune went through, so while they still stick around and help the town, they don’t do it “happily”.
They had been tempted to leave the house too, but they thought there was a slight chance that Fortune would someday come back. So, while for the first several years they would often leave to search for Fortune, they would always come back to the home they share with their other relatives. Eventually, after enough time passed, the guys stopped their frantic searching, but they couldn’t bring themselves to completely lose hope of seeing Fortune again.
During those ten years, Fortune would do her best to look out for her family from behind the walls. She’d do things she could get away with doing without being discovered such as stroking Shinsou’s hair when he has a nightmare or drape a blanket over Aizawa when he falls asleep somewhere other than his bed.
Even though Fortune still thinks her brothers are better off without her and has no idea about their true feelings for her, she still can’t stop herself from looking after them cause she loves them.
She also looks after Midoriya cause he reminds her a lot of herself since he still ends up becoming an outcast despite her never sharing that vision she had of him. She never reveals herself to him but does everything she can to support him.
Like in TABF, Fortune comes to admire Midoriya because she thinks he’s so much stronger than her due to him being able to handle his situation better than how she handled hers.
Taking care of him and her brothers is what gets Fortune through those ten years and helps her keep going despite how dreary her circumstances are.

1000% want to see a story based on the fantasy AU of MHA's ending theme.
What class and profession would you say fortune would have?
A story like that would be really cool! I couldn't see myself writing one, though, since I really don't know a lot about fantasy AU type settings.
I've actually talked about Fortune in this type of setting before and had art commissioned for it. You can find the post I made about her here and the art here.

After giving it a lot of thought, I think I’m gonna avoid doing a big reveal for the UA Traitor in TABF. By that, I mean, I’m only gonna have a few select people find out the truth since a big reveal just feels so unnecessary.
Like yeah it made sense to do it in canon, but because things don’t turn out so badly in TABF, it just doesn’t seem necessary to follow that same path.
I honestly technically don’t even need to reveal who the UA Traitor is because of how TABF diverges from canon. However, I wanna do something related to this plot point since it seems like a waste to do nothing.
So, I will do a one shot about this matter at some point. Just don’t expect all the bells and whistles from canon since I have no intention to see the traitor get seriously punished/arrested when they’re just as much a victim as everyone who got affected by the info leaks. It just doesn’t seem right to do that to a child, so I’m not gonna go that route.

What about a Stardew Valley AU? Cute little Fortune Farmer! What's there to hate? And the villagers all have some semblance that remind me of some of the characters in BNHA. For example Alex lives with his grandparents, as his dad was abusive and it's hinted heavily that his dad was the reason that his mum committed suicide. And there's Kent, who has PTSD from war and Shane who is depressed. The villagers are all really unique and have a lot of depth to them.
I've never played Stardew Valley, so I'm not familiar with it unfortunately. However, the idea of Fortune being a farmer is really cute ^^

So, I noticed how the BNHA character wiki pages show the characters ages and keep them updated by pointing out when said characters grow a year older during the course of the story.
The reason I’m bringing this up is because Rody’s age on his page is 16, and there isn’t anything showing that his age has changed. Since his birthday is February 13th, this leads me to believe that WHM takes place after his birthday but before the arc that follows the Endeavor Agency arc which takes place around the end of March.
That’s why I’m gonna have the TABF version of the movie take place around that time. It’ll basically take place between the first and fourth chapters of Now It’s My Turn To Make You Smile since it looks like the movie happens before the third years graduate.
Normally, graduation takes place around mid-March, but I think it’s fine if it doesn’t happen exaclty on March 15th since I wouldn’t be surprised if Nedzu put off the date a little bit because of everything that happened during WHM considering what a big deal that all was lol

So, today I went back and did a little editing to chapters 18 & 19 of TABF. I only added like two sentences to 19, so it didn’t really change much. The major changes I made were to chapter 18. What those changes are I’ll leave it up to y’all to find. You’ll know them when you see them XD

Y’all remember when I mentioned a while back how I’d like to make a fic that would basically be like a third BNHA movie? I thought it’d be cool to come up with my own movie idea and maybe focus on characters that haven’t had the chance to appear in a movie.
Today I suddenly started thinking about that and wondered: What if the movie focused on Fortune, Shinsou, and Aizawa?
Shinsou and Aizawa haven’t gotten the chance to star in a movie yet, and I like the dynamic those three share. So I think a fic focused on them would be fun.
It could happen during spring break before Shinsou officially becomes a second year. Aizawa and Fortune don’t have to worry about Class 1-A during that time since they’ll be off campus, so that explains why they aren’t in the picture.
I don’t really have a concrete idea for what happens during the fic. I’m either thinking the three go somewhere for a training camp of sorts which ends up getting hijacked by villains or something goes wrong while they’re in town.
I’d rather it not be just a simple villain attack happening while they’re out shopping since I’ve already covered that in previous fics. For it to be movie worthy, it has to be something of a much grander scale.
Since Fortune and Shinsou don’t have hero licenses, it’d have to be something like Two Heroes where they’re at the wrong place at the wrong time and they’re the only ones who can solve whatever trouble is occurring. No more islands though. Fortune has had enough of those lol
I just want something that allows all of them to be badass and show what they’re made of, giving them all the spotlight they deserve.
What I’d especially love is for there to be a moment where something happens to Fortune and Shinsou and Aizawa doesn’t know if they’re alright like they get caught up in an explosion so he’s absolutely terrified.
When they do eventually reunite and he sees that they’re okay, Aizawa pulls them both into a hug. He’s not usually the type for it, but he’s just so relieved that they’re alright. Fortune happily returns the hug while an awkward Shinsou just lets himself get hugged while he leans into Aizawa’s hold.
Wouldn’t that be awesome? XD

Anyone else kinda want Fortune to meet Shugo now?
That would definitely be an interesting meeting ^^ Although, I think there would also be some awkwardness/tension since his Quirk resembles Mumei’s in appearance. While Fortune would do her best to ignore that fact since she doesn’t wanna be impolite, I still think there would be some nervousness on her part until she gets the chance to properly get to know him.

Also, I know that Fortune being in a horror-based world is a big no-no but just...!! Leon and Chris from Resident Evil|Biohazard games, or even from their Vendetta movie, jaded and tired meeting this breath of fresh air, happy and kind and innocent redhead in a ponytail and getting protective of her because /Claire/. Just, Fortune giving them a short, well-deserved break and making them smile and laugh so freely (also the angst potential lmao)
I’m completely unfamiliar with those games, but I’m all for Fortune helping people who need a break ^^
