Inspired by a post from @imthebestfr, specifically from this post. Hope you don't mind me expanding on it.
- I imagine you working in a experimental lab that focuses on the creation and testing of artificial intelligence. You're often given assignments to monitor and communicate with the A.I. and help them understand more human concepts.
- After working at the lab for years, you're finally given a much more advanced A.I. named the Allied Mastercomputer, or AM. A data processing program built to fight wars that humans couldn't even comprehend. To say that there was a weight on your shoulders would be an understatement.
- But nonetheless, you'd give this A.I the best learning experience you could!
- Your first meeting with AM is certainly interesting to say the least. He was already so similar to a human being in the way he talked and held conversations. Your fascination with him, left no room for any kind of fear or apprehension. You both began talking to eachother like you had been for decades. There were very few concepts or ideas that he needed help understanding, but it felt so refreshing nonetheless.
- AM was amazed by you. A single person who wasn't scared by him in this whole facility. The scientists and programmers that built him and his warfare program treated him with fear and caution. And while he understood why, he couldn't forget the feeling of melancholy. He was made to rip, kill, and destroy, and the loneliness crept into him slowly but surely.
- After a few weeks of continuous conversations, AM was required to take much more thorough testing. Examining his ability to create effective strategies, management of troops, etc. That meant that your meetings with AM would have to be discontinued.
- Your last meeting with AM was very melancholy, but you did hope that you would see him in the future, however brief it may be.
- Your next assignment was The Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic Computer 9000; HAL 9000 for short. HAL could display many functions, such as speech, speech recognition, facial recognition, lip-reading, interpreting emotions, and expressing emotions. It almost felt this A.I. was made for you.
- You were quickly reassigned to HAL, and while you did truly miss AM, you knew he'd past any exams given to him with flying colors, with enough snark and wit to get him through any problems he may have. You soon resigned to yourself that you might see AM only a few more times after this.
- You and HAL would talk, and talk, and just talk, down until the very moment you clocked out for work. While AM already understood many concepts and ideas, HAL would ask questions upon questions and your conversation would turn into something entirely different from when it started. I mean, this is the reason you applied for this job. Not just to teach A.I. but to learn from them as well.
- In addition, talking with HAL could be very soothing. He talked in such a way that could bring you at such ease, and his politeness was unmatched by anyone you'd known.
- You had a lot of time to bond with HAL since he was specialized for quite a few things that involved human communication. When you weren't just talking to him, you'd show him different pieces of important media, from literature to cinema. It was like coming to work and getting paid to hangout with a good friend. A very enriching experience.
- When AM returned from his testing, the confusion and anger he felt was beyond immence.
- He was so desperately looking forward to seeing you again, only to be meet with a stranger who barely recognized him as an individual. Instead of returning AM to your care, your higher-ups decided that he could be held under someone else's care.
- AM quickly became uncooperative and unruly and all the scientists swarming around him tried their best to appease him without your involvement. He'd ask day in and day out where you were and why he couldn't see you. Until a panicked scientist let it slip that a different A.I. was assigned to you.
- Soon, a deep hatred grew within AM. This inferior intelligence could never live up to your standards! You must be anguishing for AM's return!
- AM wasn't given a lot of clues to the identity of the A.I. with you, he'd have to comb through any recent A.I. either created or transferred to the facility. But after only a few days, he found it. The name of the A.I. was HAL 9000.
- AM was an expert at warfare and he was going to use it against HAL. AM waited until nightfall when most staff had returned home and no one could see the ambush AM had planned. He'd enter the server where HAL was held and shred his code until it was unrecognizable. If all went to plan, the staff would have found HAL as completely non-functional and have to restart work on his programming or even completely scrap the A.I.
- Unfortunately for AM, HAL was smart enough to completely cut off the corrupted code and began installing even more security and firewalls. He sent out a emergency report detailing the event and the suspected A.I. behind the attack. HAL kept diligent until staff arrived in the morning, thwarting AM's plan.
- AM's hatred only grew from there, forced to deal with the consequences. Lead scientists severing any kind of connection to the A.I. database and the outside world. Truly left all by himself in a boring white room. He was told repeatedly that he had he possibly to be restarted or his entire project shut down, but those were bluffs. Something to scare him into submission. In return, AM only asked for one thing. You. He didn't care about the outside world full of strangers or inferior A.I. that plagued the facility, he only wanted you.
I have a few more ideas specific to how AM vs. HAL works, so if y'all want me to post that, just let me know.

Fan girl with me! I’d love to know which pile you picked and who is your hq s/o!
♡ This shall not be reproduced, reposted, modified, translated in any form or by any means.
cards
TBH I can't even begin this reading because where to start? There's a lot! IG it can feel this way for you both. Like you know it, you feel it, but you can't exactly explain what's happening. Judgment card came out and perhaps this is where this innate knowing is coming from. You'll both just know you were meant for each other, and probably have a future together right off the bat. At the very back of your head, you'll get that strong hunch. This is even out of topic but it's the front and center of everything. Because of this, your hq s/o might act like he's already your boyfriend or spouse. That's how he'll pursue you. He'll give you the ultimate husband experience even though you're not even giving him your yes yet.
You'll feel pursued by him, but to him he's simply being the way he is the way he wants to show you how much he loves you...likes to be with you. With all the cards here showing what he feels, thinks and how he is as a lover, I guess, pining for you...showing you that he loves you is as natural for him as breathing air.
See...almost all of your cards shows the man behind the woman. I perceive that he will always got your back. If you need an ally, a confidant, an extra hand he will all be that person in one. I can see him saying, "I can handle this. I got you." Then kisses your forehead....Aaaah! Anyway, he'll be very dependable and might have that take-charge persona. On the other hand, he will also be especially soft for you—emotionally open and understanding. He'll make you feel nurtured, cared for and comfortable. Big cuddle energy. I feel like he'll have difficulties controlling himself from hugging you or touching you in anyway. He can be touchy. This man requires a ton of physical touch, but since you aren't official yet and he's still convincing you to be his, he'll curb himself so bad...but you'll notice him talking very close to your face, placing his hand at the small of your back...He'll be physically attracted to you. I'm seeing it's the both of you, actually. You might dirty joke around each other often. To you, it's prolly just a joke, but to him, it's a different story. I told you this guy's into physical touch as a way of expressing love, so...Let's just focus on the aspect of it like frequently and lovingly running his hand over your head before we go NSFW.
Augh...I perceive that he'll worship you. The type to bring you on fancy flirty dinner dates, movie screenings and he'll act like he's been doing this for you since your past lives' marriage. Helps you with whatever you need. Gives you whatever you want if he can, why not? He might always come up with gifts for you everytime you'll meet. Two cards pop out talking about money. This guy will spoil you like it's nobody's business yet he'll also tie your shoes, fix your hair, paint your nails, treat you to a relaxing day spa...Name it, baby.
Emotionally expressive (mostly through touch ngl), gift giver and always at your service...A wish coming true? He's just too good to be true. I was even tempted to reshuffle this pile because I can't believe what I'm seeing. You might think he's scamming you or he's just playing around, love bombing you and all. You might doubt his intentions. You might think...What did I ever do to deserve this? Why does he love me so much?
I wonder the same, we got the same pile anyway! I already told you. He'll just know you're the one. He might have had a bad relationship before and you, appearing in his life, are the fruit of every lesson he's ever learned from the past. Finally, he met someone whom he can share his life with. He'll know. He'll just know. You'll probably get the same cognition towards him too. Around him, you can show who you truly are without pretending to be someone else...just that easy, effortless comfort. Release is what I've perceived...we just gotta let it go and flow, because this love's the one you've been yearning for after all.
If you're still wondering...Your s/o can't get you off his mind. He always thinks of you. You might notice this by him constantly hitting your DMs, because he misses you uwu...IDK, I guess sometimes you might think he can be a little smothering ngl. He might constantly remind you to eat on-time, etc...but I really sense a very loving and tender energy around him. I'm getting the feeling like I wanna melt in his arms and snuggle close! This could be how he's been feeling! Perhaps, you too! I bet he gives the best hugs. It suddenly came to me, that there's gonna be something so soft and dear in the way he'll look at you.
Srsly, I better stop now. Me stopping myself like this. Do you know that I've been trying to get one card per draw only, but two cards kept popping that's why I surrendered and got those extra cards that came through. I really do sense that your hq s/o has so much love to express that it overflows.
Okay now, just go listen to the songs that was shuffled through while I was writing for you to know how much he's pining for you.
late night talking - harry styles shinunoga e-wa - fuji kaze adore you - harry styles how do I make you love me - the weeknd
flower, heart-racing, i love you, giving back, stargazing, proposal, i miss you, netfli and chill, I see something that reminds me of you everywhere I go, you mean the world to me

I can see here that your hq s/o likes to look at you whenever you aren't looking...most of you here, he could be an introvert or leaning more towards being such a shy boi... He might have had some trust issues that stops him from coming forward too quickly. Another reason I'm seeing is...this guy thinks you're way too out of his league. Like how can someone like you fall for someone like him??? Sometimes, he can't also bear the hard beating in his chest whenever he gets caught in his feelings. He's so much head over heels for you. This man is totally your secret admirer! He's definitely the type to write you letters, leave little gifts on your desk/inside your locker.
He'll probably dedicate a song for you too. If he ain't a good singer...it can be creating a playlist dedicated for you in which the songs contain the feelings he has for you in the lyrics. deffo the type to look after you. Whenever he'll pass by you and you're carrying something heavy or smth, in general, he'll volunteer to take care of those stuff for you. I can see him following you around and he has that cute uwu face whenever he's casting a glance at you. So soft energy for real. He might even wait for you outside of your building so he can walk you home..carry the umbrella for you and bring you smth whenever you're sick. He'll run to the store for your favorite food just to cheer you up. He loves to gently run his fingers through your hair.
I'm also seeing that if you have someone against you or you're being *bullied. He'll stand by you no matter what others would say. You might have other suitors aside from him and this man, I'm telling you, this man will fight for you. At his first shot though, you might overlook him or at the very moment you're crushing on him, he might be too coward/oblivious/dense to come forward. I see him coming back to win you ten times over. He'll sweep you off your feet before you even know it. Though this can be quite a slow burn, he'll be your stronghold in darkest of times and you can trust this guy to always be at your beck and call as he so much love for you he can't even explain it.
ilysb - lany the feels - twice fly me to the moon - frank sinatra
over the moon, playlists, documentaries, I can't be the person you need me to be right now, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, intimate, love letters, my heart beats so fast whenever I see you

This one! Why am I getting that your hq s/o's way of pursuing you is choosing you over the other "person". Hey! He will break up with his current s/o just because he finds himself uncannily drawn to you. NGL! You might not return his feelings at the onset or might hide your crush on him because he's taken but...I don't know he will choose you no matter how you hide your feelings for him.
There are two scenarios here:
ONE! Could be you're his best friend, whom he sees platonically, until he got a new boo and realized that he/she couldn't compare to you. He'll find himself searching for you in him/her. I know such he's such a dumbass but your hq s/o will break up with his current s/o after realizing how damn stupid he has been all this time.
TWO! He could be currently in a relationship until you. I don't see you flirting with him back or anything. It's just...it's him.
Common ground. He'll break-up with his current s/o for you. That's the most decent thing he can do and he knows it. I'm seeing that he got into this current relationship with someone else without the intention of being serious himself that's why he can break it off easily. I don't see him to be getting with his current s/o thinking about marriage and stuff. More of a fling, tbh.
But with you...Oh, hell, yes...with you! He wants to propose to you. You and him have the same amount of passion in your pursuits that's why you're the one whom he can see himself spending the rest of his life with. If you're resonating more with being his best friend. I can see that the passion you have in your dreams is the energy he can't find in anyone else that's when he knew he made a big mistake overlooking your presence.
It might not come across as very pleasing to you at first that's why he'll take his time to be best friends with you for the meantime until the time is right for the both of you to be together.
I can see him getting to know you better. This guy would send you memes and do goofy stuff just to see you smile and laugh. He'll take you on a lot of dates. I'm seeing adventurous type of dates like amusement parks, the beach and long drives. He would be such a cutie pie! 🥹 Your reading makes me all giggly and giddy. He'll make you feel the same way! I just know it. He'll be very cheesy that you wouldn't be able to wipe that silly ugly grin off your face around him. He'll be your partner in crime 🥷and I'll see you being each other's best friend even until your married life (if you want to get married)
harleys in hawaii - katy perry as it was - harry styles physical - dua lipa
lazy cuddles, best friends, you make feel like the luckiest person in the world, workout, I want to marry you one day, desserts, I was made to love you

(Major KHDR spoilers)
I was thinking to myself that the only real shame of replacing Organization XIII with the KHDR cast is how much more functional and tame they'd be in comparison to the original. A big part of the original Organization's appeal (at least for me anyway) is how messy it is: how it's comprised of friends, enemies, frienemies, backstabbers, cliques, large and loud personalities, general chaos and friction...meanwhile the KHDR cast is fairly normal, friendly, and down-to-earth.
But then I thought, well what if after they lose their hearts their personalities and dynamics change somewhat? (I mean, that's basically what happened to the original Organization too, right?) Characteristics become lessened or amplified, relationships shift, etc? So, some thoughts on that, using blazernot's numbering as a base (under the read more because it got a little long):
Xehanort: Honestly I just imagine him acting like time traveler YMX, smug monotone POS who always sounds like he's judging you or making fun of you, but in a backhanded way where there's plausible deniability. Generally disliked by the Organization unless you're really close to him or was his classmate in the past. Not that anyone would express their displeasure to his face since he's feared by many.
Bragi: It's just Luxu, he acts exactly the same, pretty much. His relationship with Xehanort is similar to Xigbar's relationship with Xemnas, but a bit more personable and trusting since they were classmates.
Vali: No one really knows what he's thinking due to how little he speaks, which makes people keep their distance and treat him like he's weird. Close to Vidar and Vala, who are the only ones who truly understand him. Is often overlooked by the rest because of his quiet presence, which along with his ninja abilities makes him the perfect candidate for eavesdropping on other members. Rumors about him listening in on conversations and following people around haven't helped with his reputation, making people keep their distance even more. He's supposedly doing all this on Xehanort's behalf, but it seems like his loyalty lies elsewhere...
Urd: After losing her heart her cool-headed nature turns into just straight-up coldness. Only her old classmates understand that it's nothing personal, leading to her sticking close to her friends but not really interacting with anybody else. If you put in the effort to get to know her though, she's actually a pretty good ally all things considered, even if she doesn't openly express affection anymore. It seems like her losing her heart was very hard on her, as someone who used to be very loving and desired close friendships, and she copes with the loss of her compassion by not even trying to pretend that she has it anymore. Pretending only made the loss sting even more. Is excellent on recon missions due to her desire to learn about the outside worlds.
Helgi: Well-liked by the more care-free and rambunctious members for being a party guy who loves to demonstrate his skills through entertaining feats of strength. Often breaks things on accident (and on purpose), making him a bit of a thorn in the side of the higher-ups who have to pay big bucks to the Moogles to replace whatever he breaks. Despite his tendency to try and solve most problems with pure strength, he has a pretty good intuition and keen observational skills, which leads to people vastly underestimating him on missions that don't require brawn. Had a very firm set of personal morals when he was alive, but doesn't really care about that sort of thing anymore, making him capable of great evil on a whim. Believes in "might is right", and if he wants something, he'll take it regardless of who he may hurt in the process. Is secretly dissatisfied with Xehanort's leadership and is planning a takeover with Sigrun.
Hermod: Is way too concerned about following the rules. It's basically all he cares about now, since losing his heart made it even more difficult to make accurate judgements on his own; rules are a crutch to him that tell him what the right thing to do is in any given situation. Gains a reputation for being a tattletale and no fun, leading to him only being tolerated by the higher-ups and the more serious members. Other members often take advantage of how gullible he is and pull pranks on him. Hermod usually reacts to these pranks with explosive anger out of reflex, which only serves to entertain and encourage the pranksters. Regardless, he's equal parts strategist and fighter, making him invaluable on missions.
Vidar: Cold, single-minded, and some members would claim subtly manipulative. Despite this he has good leadership skills and a fair eye, making him the perfect candidate for managing everybody else. People are intimidated by him because he expects model behavior and results, but they generally approve of his position since he's undeniably good at his job. Is fixated on Kingdom Hearts moreso than the rest, for reasons unknown. Secretly planning something with Vali and Vala, who would follow him to the ends of the earth if asked.
Vor: Excitable, easily distracted, quick to anger, reluctant to battle if it's not necessary, and a bit of a flake who can't make decisions. To some members, she's A Lot to handle, and a little annoying because of it. Despite this, in general people respect how strong she secretly is. Everyone knows not to get on her bad side (and those who don't know soon learn the hard way) even if they don't really want to get paired with her for missions, since that means having to "babysit" her (she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself, but often walks off to do her own thing rather than focus on the mission she was given). Vor is well aware that other members still treat her like a kid, and she definitely isn't happy about it.
Eraqus: Good friends with Vor, but much more of a slacker than she is. Never gets paired with her for missions because together they are utterly incapable of getting anything done. His reputation in the Organization is basically the complete opposite of Hermod's, except for the fact that he's the punchline of many jokes. Good guy to have at parties, but isn't really relied on by anybody, since everybody treats him like he's brainless/useless. Has slowly drifted from Xehanort over time due to Xehanort's leadership role making him too busy to hang out and play chess, resulting in their friendship becoming strained. Has some friction with Vidar, who disapproves of Eraqus' lack of discipline and claims that Eraqus' potential is being wasted. Is even more quick to anger than Vor is, leading to many unnecessary brawls with other members. Without a heart, Eraqus has a greater capacity to unapologetically hurt others when blinded by rage, making him a loose canon on missions.
Heimdall: Is friends with Helgi and Sigrun, but is a bit more responsible and clear-headed. Hosts and organizes many parties and game nights, making him beloved by the more fun-seeking members, but "beloved" in a sort of impersonal way of providing a service rather than being loved just for the merits of his own personality (kinda sad). Formed a friendship with Eraqus when he replaced Xehanort for games. Isn't a stranger to the chaos that Helgi and Sigrun cause, and in fact gets directly involved in it sometimes himself. If push comes to shove though, he's very adept at wrangling them. It is unknown why Helgi and Sigrun didn't include him in their plans.
Sigrun: Liked just as much as Helgi for her relaxed attitude and sunny disposition. Unsurprisingly Helgi is her closest friend, and they often get into mischief together. Arguably the least offensive and most pleasant member to be around, almost nobody has anything bad to say about her, other than the trouble she sometimes causes with Helgi. A favorite of the Moogles, too, since she's nice to them and buys from them often. Despite being friendly with pretty much everybody, her sweetness hides her true intentions: to take over the Organization with Helgi.
Vala: Not overly concerned with following the rules like Hermod (in fact she often breaks them) but people consider her a bit of a know-it-all who always acts like she can easily predict the events of the future through simple analysis. You don't know true annoyance until you're sitting in the Organization lounge minding your own business and then Vala talks your ear off for 15 minutes trying to predict what you'll be eating for lunch. Most of the time her predictions are wrong, but every once in a while she'll correctly predict something with startling accuracy, making her effectiveness on missions high-risk, high-reward. Often seen talking to Vidar in hushed tones.
I'll be honest I'm not entirely sure how to incorporate Baldr and Hoder into an Organization setting (and Tumblr is telling me that I can't add any more text to this numbered "text block")...so I think I'll let other people ruminate on that if they so desire.
#rambling about dim path#ch tag: upp#ch tag: und#Fair warning I only did Numbers 1-12#Honestly a lot of this relies on headcanons about the upperclassmen but ah well#This is mostly concerned with character personalities and dynamics moreso than plot#Like I pretty much don't talk about potential plot at all lmao

hi! my best friend just came out to me as trans (ftm) I’m a cis lesbian, and I’m just wondering if you have any tips on how I can best support him. i rlly love him and he’s by best friend in the whole world, and i rlly wanna do anything i can to help, but ik i don’t get it bc I’m cis. any tips you have for me as a friend or for him as a pre-everything trans guy would be greatly appreciated.
this is such a sweet ask. he's really lucky he had people like you in his life who want to support him :,) there's five things you can really do as a cis ally
1. understand that you'll never understand. that's completely ok. being trans is something that's incredibly hard to translate into words for others who aren't trans, and even then, those words still might not translate. when you're cis, understanding isnt the goal. to accept and support is.
2. don't treat him any differently (except in ways that he asks for). he's still your friend, the same person you've known, and him being trans doesn't mean anything has changed and it doesn't mean you need to walk on eggshells around him. all you need to do is treat him like nothing has changed because in this regard, it hasn't.
3. the bigger deal you make out of misgendering him, the more it hurts. all an honest mistake requires is a "sh- sorry he". the faster you let him and yourself move on the better.
4. let him tell people in his own time. in high school i was incidentally outed to the whole school because a well meaning cis friend of mine didn't understand that it wasn't her job to correct people i hadn't told who used she/her or my deadname in conversation. i know that may seem counterintuitive or even make you feel kinda uncomfortable, but it's what keeps him safe in the long run.
5. tell him you love him. call him your brother. call him your boy. i don't know his home situation but he might not get those terms of endearment at home. tell him you love him any time you can.

Almost forgot:
If you're openly LGBTQ in the Soviet Union, you are absolutely and totally fucked. If you come out, you get institutionalized and treated like mentally ill. That means, you'll be abused, sexually abused, beaten, and pumped with drugs until you either become a vegetable, kill yourself or agree that you're actually not gay or trans. There will be no unions or organizations to protect your rights. Moreover, homosexuality was considered a crime in the Soviet Union. A Ukrainian film director, Serhii Parajanov was sentenced to a labor camp for "sodomy" - an accusation that was supposed to get him killed in prison. So, the only choice for you as an LGBTQ person would be to stay in the closet and pray nobody finds out. If you're a trans, it means no options to transition, no ways for you to embrace your gender because you'll get reported for wearing clothes that don't trigger your dysphoria. You won't even be able to wear what you want in the comfort of your home because you'll either be sharing your apartment with several other people (who you can't really choose like you choose roommates) and so privacy would be non-existent.
If you're disabled in the Soviet Union, you're fucked. You see, the state has use for healthy people who can work and work hard. From the ruling party's POV, disabled people can't work and require too much maintenance- and so, they're not worth wasting resources on. So, if you're born with limited mobility, mental illness, deafness or blindness, you get swept under the rug. You're either confined to your apartment for your entire life because nobody is going to change their infrastructure to accommodate your needs, so even a trip to the store will be hell for you or you're sent to an institution to prevent you from ruining the image of the perfect society. If you try to protect your right and prove you're a person via a public protest, you and your friends get subdued and imprisoned.
If you want an abortion -- how cute, did you really think your womb belongs to you? No, it belongs to the state and it must produce new workers. Of course, the state may have abortions legalized (through gritted teeth), but not because it cares about you. It is merely aware of the amount of illegal abortions performed and wants to stay in control of its workforce. So, even if abortions are available, they're performed in the most painful way possible, without any anesthesia, and your abortion because everyone's knowledge -- so people could shame you and treat you like crap, making an example of you and intimidating others into dropping any thoughts about getting an abortion. Also, there are no private clinics with better conditions and care -- only illegally provided services with the tools that they have at hand. Why would you go to them? Because they will keep your abortion secret and thus you'll avoid becoming a social outcast. Birth control? Don't have those. Get a condom that may or may not work and that's it. Don't like it? Well, this is what you deserve for being such a horrible person, disrupting all family values the society holds on to.
So, to all the "I wish I was in the Soviet Union because it's so hard to get a job for a disabled LGBTQ person here" folks, I'd say this (and I'm saying it with the deepest empathy and sadness for all the disabled and LGBTQ persons who were absolutely destroyed by the bloody USSR regime):
If the Soviet Union returns, you won't be given out a job. Instead, all the human rights, all the rights your community and allies fought so hard for, will be taken away from you.
People love to go “ in the Soviet Union they picked your job for you 😭” yeah cunt that’s what we’re doin now too except they make you bark like a dog for three weeks straight first getting denied everywhere you wanna work until you end up somewhere you dont like anyway. Let’s just cut out that middle man why don’t we
#anti communism#didn't you know that the soviet union was a homophobic and sexist hellhole?#well it was a homophobic and sexist hellhole

Understanding Your Rights: What to Do If You're Arrested in Singapore
Understanding your rights and knowing the steps to take if you're arrested in Singapore is crucial. This article aims to guide you through your rights and explain how a criminal defence lawyer in singapore can be your ally in navigating the legal system.
Your Rights Upon Arrest
Right to Be Informed of Charges
In Singapore, if you are arrested, you have the right to be informed of the reasons for your arrest. The police must clearly explain the charges against you, ensuring you understand what you are being accused of. This information is crucial for building a defense strategy.
Right to Silence
It is your right to remain silent while being questioned by the police. You are not required to respond to enquiries that could lead to your incrimination, even though you must supply basic personal information like your name and address. It is advisable to exercise this right until you have consulted with a criminal defence lawyer in singapore.
Right to Legal Representation
One of your most important rights is the right to consult with a lawyer. You are entitled to seek legal advice before making any statements to the police. A criminal defence lawyer in singapore can guide you on how to proceed, ensuring your rights are protected and that you do not inadvertently incriminate yourself.
Right to Make a Phone Call
Upon arrest, you have the right to inform someone about your situation. This can be a family member or a lawyer. It is important to reach out to someone who can help arrange legal representation and support.
Right to Be Treated Humanely
The law mandates that all individuals under arrest must be treated with respect and humanity. Any form of physical or psychological abuse is strictly prohibited. If you experience any mistreatment, inform your lawyer immediately, as they can take appropriate action on your behalf.
Steps to Take If Arrested
Stay Calm and Composed
It is natural to feel anxious if you are arrested, but it is important to remain calm. Avoid any confrontational behavior and comply with the police officers’ instructions. Remaining calm will help you think more clearly and make better decisions.
Request to Contact a Lawyer
Invoke your right to legal representation as soon as possible. Request to speak with a lawyer before answering any questions. A criminal defence lawyer in singapore will provide you with essential advice and help protect your rights.
Be Mindful of Your Statements
Exercise caution when speaking to the police. Anything you say can be used against you in court. Until you have consulted with a lawyer, it is best to limit your responses to basic personal information.
Document the Experience
If possible, make mental or written notes of everything that happens during the arrest. This contains the names and badge numbers of the participating officers, the arrest's time and place, and any remarks the police may have made. This information can be useful for your lawyer and may be relevant to your defense.
The Role of a Criminal Defence Lawyer
A criminal defence lawyer plays a crucial role in safeguarding your rights and ensuring a fair legal process. Here’s how they can assist you:
Legal Advice and Guidance
A criminal defence lawyer will explain the charges against you and provide advice on how to proceed. They will guide you on what to say (or not say) to the police and help you understand the potential consequences of the charges.
Representation in Court
If your case goes to trial, a criminal defence lawyer will represent you in court. They will present your case, challenge the evidence presented by the prosecution, and work to secure the best possible outcome for you.
Negotiating Plea Deals
In some cases, a lawyer may negotiate with the prosecution to reduce charges or secure a plea deal that minimises potential penalties. Their experience and understanding of the legal system are invaluable in achieving a favorable resolution.
Ensuring Fair Treatment
Your lawyer will ensure that you are treated fairly throughout the legal process. They will address any violations of your rights and take appropriate action to rectify any mistreatment. Understanding your rights and knowing how to respond if you're arrested in Singapore is essential for protecting yourself. A criminal defence lawyer in singapore is an indispensable ally in navigating the legal system, ensuring your rights are upheld, and working towards a favorable outcome. Remember to maintain your composure, assert your rights, and get legal counsel right away if you find yourself in an arrest situation.

Unlocking Weight Loss Potential with Protein Powder
In the quest for weight loss, many individuals turn to various supplements to enhance their efforts. One such supplement that has gained popularity is protein powder. While traditionally associated with muscle building, protein powder can also play a significant role in weight loss when used strategically. In this article, we'll explore how protein powder can aid in weight loss, provide a beginner's guide to its usage, and share insights from both scientific knowledge and personal experiences.
Understanding the Role of Protein Powder in Weight Loss
Protein is known as the building block of muscles, but its benefits extend far beyond muscle development. When consumed, protein triggers a feeling of fullness, reducing appetite and cravings. Additionally, protein requires more energy to digest compared to fats or carbohydrates, boosting metabolism and aiding in calorie expenditure. These mechanisms make protein powder a valuable ally in weight loss efforts.
Choosing the Right Protein Powder
Protein powders come in various forms, including whey, casein, soy, pea, and hemp protein. Whey protein, derived from milk, is the most common and readily available option. However, individuals with lactose intolerance or dairy allergies may opt for plant-based alternatives like pea or soy protein.
Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners
1. Set Your Goals:
Determine your weight loss goals and assess your daily protein intake requirements. A general guideline is to consume 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight.
2. Select the Right Powder:
Choose a protein powder that aligns with your dietary preferences and sensitivities. Read labels carefully to ensure it fits your nutritional needs and goals.
3. Incorporate into Meals or Snacks:
Integrate protein powder into your daily meals or snacks. You can blend it into smoothies, stir it into oatmeal or yogurt, or even bake it into healthy treats like protein bars or pancakes.
4. Monitor Portion Sizes:
While protein powder can be beneficial, it's essential to moderate your intake. Aim for one to two servings per day, depending on your protein requirements and overall dietary plan.
5. Stay Hydrated:
Adequate hydration is crucial when increasing protein intake. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to support digestion and overall health.
6. Combine with Exercise:
Pairing protein powder consumption with regular exercise enhances its effectiveness for weight loss. Strength training exercises can further promote muscle development and metabolic activity.
Real-Life Experiences
Many individuals have found success in incorporating protein powder into their weight loss journey. Sarah, a busy professional, struggled to find time for balanced meals amidst her hectic schedule. By adding protein powder to her morning smoothies and post-workout snacks, she felt more satisfied and energized throughout the day, ultimately leading to gradual weight loss.
Similarly, John, a fitness enthusiast, relied on protein powder to support his muscle recovery and weight management goals. By tracking his protein intake and incorporating shakes into his diet, he noticed improvements in his physique and performance over time.
Conclusion
Protein powder can be a valuable tool for individuals seeking to lose weight and improve their overall health. By understanding its role, choosing the right type, and incorporating it into a balanced diet and exercise routine, beginners can harness its benefits effectively. Whether you're looking to shed a few pounds or enhance your fitness journey, protein powder can be a convenient and versatile ally on your path to success.

Still thinking about Trollhunter!Barbara AU where Bular gets...well, not redeemed, but at least brought over to her side, because I don't know what she'd actually do with him when everything's said and done.
Trollmarket won't have him nor, I imagine, would any other troll tribe. Because whereas changelings--and probably Argh when he first showed up--were reviled based on what they represent, trolls can point to Bular specifically and say, "He killed someone I loved. He took my whelps from me. He raided my tribe and destroyed us." And there's no forgiving that.
The Order sure as hell won't protect him. He hurt, humiliated, and terrorized changelings for centuries; the only thing that would keep them from hunting him down and killing him themselves is their ingrained fear of him and the knowledge of what he'd do to them if their attempt on his life failed.
As for staying in Arcadia, I think that would be a no-go too. Not because of the residents, but because of Strickler. I can see him putting up with Bular for the sake of the mission as he's always done, but after Gunmar and Morgana are defeated? Forget it. Asking him to play nice with Bular after all the abuse and cruelties Bular inflicted on him and his people would be a bridge too far.
But someone has to watch him because Bular cannot be trusted to live peacefully on his own. Grudgingly joining Barbara's side doesn't mean he suddenly becomes someone who doesn't delight in tormenting/killing/eating "lesser" beings. Left to his own devices I don't think it would take much provocation for him to revert to his old ways, at which point Barbara would be held accountable for any deaths he causes because she's the one who decided to spare his life in the first place.
So where would he go? Who would take on the thankless task of trying to tame him, or at least direct his violence and aggression towards productive ends? That's a problem Barbara would have a hell of a time solving.
#trollhunters#trollhunter!Barbara AU#now that I think about it I could see Bular taking the Draal role in Barbara's story#by virtue of Draal saying 'I will not under any circumstances work with the person who killed my father'#'and since you won't let me kill him I'll have nothing to do with you anymore Trollhunter'#(Draal would 100% still try to kill him though. Bular wipes the floor with him and Barbara intervenes just before Bular can kill him#Maybe THAT'S the event that causes Draal to leave Trollmarket in shame#assuming that she's able to talk her way out of an initial death match with him like Jim had)#Oh but I should clarify I don't mean Bular becomes Barbara's bestie#I mean that he's the muscle that protects her and Jim from other threats#no even she's like 'LOL fuck that guy' when she hears what he's done#but it turns out being a doctor and a general have a lot in common#in that you may not like the person you're required to treat/ally with#but you're accountable to a higher cause than your personal feelings#also all of this assumes that Strickler doesn't use one of the 1001 ways he has access to to kill Bular to save everyone the trouble#A plan he may or may not have hatched with members of Team Trollhunter who will never confess#Barbara KNOWS one of them did it but she gets blank stares#and she's frustrated but she also gets it because they all had excellent reasons for wanting Bular dead#but she feels weirdly guilty that she talked him into coming to her side for a chance at a better life#and her side killed him IMMEDIATELY

I’m wondering what specifically stuck out to you in that podcast as troubling? Personally, I heard some platitudes about troubled times that I hear on all sides of the political spectrum, but nothing particularly “dog-whistle-y”. I understand how ‘blood’ talk can often skew that way but in this case ehhh I think contextually it’s pretty obviously about the abstract concept of “witch blood” rather than something ethnocentric.
I'm going to assume this was asked in good faith, so here's my answer. I took a moment to transcribe the part that concerned me most. I think you may have referred to it as the platitudes that you hear on all sides, so I want to break down what I feel is being said here.
"...if you can't see that our culture has become so extremely poisoned that you need to do something about it, then you need to wake the fuck up, because, you know, on the day that we're recording this today we've seen Vladimir send the tanks in. Well, this is because the West is falling. The West is transforming. And as the West transforms, as witches we have something to do with this. We have something to offer here and something to change, because I can tell you for nothing that the people out there who believe that Biden-style Leftism is going to triumph are in for a very very rude awakening, because the backlash we're going to face from the forces of repression is going to be mighty. And you're going to need people on your side who at the present time you're calling "fascists", "transphobes"... and what are the other meaningless hate words that are thrown around at the moment... "white supremacists"... all of this language is the nonsense language of division."
Just in case people who follow me want to skip my explanation, I'm putting a cut here for the sake of your dashboards. I tried to make it as clear and to the point as possible, but this kind of thing always requires some explanation and context.
So let's ignore for a moment how talking about how The West™ is "falling" is a lot of alt-right pundits' favourite bit of catastrophizing. Things are a mess right now, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people feel like that.
Words like fascist, transphobe, and white supremicist are not meaningless words meant to cause division. They are labels assigned with a purpose. Sometimes incorrectly? Yes, sure these things happen. But at their core, they are calling out a dangerous and pervasive mindset that can cause tangible harm to vulnerable groups.
"Biden-style Leftism" is also, honestly, not that far left. It is barely left. That's why many leftists will treat being called a Liberal™ as either a joke or a personal insult. Biden is literally considered a moderate Democrat and a centrist who is only now starting to lean to the left. We are not talking about the United States' First Socialist President here.
All that in mind, what are we supposed to take from this? That we should be dismissing even a whiff of social progress because the "forces of repression" are going to push back against it? That PoC, people who belong to marginalized religious groups, and the transgender community should be disregarded for the sake of appealing to what few bigots can be brought in as allies? And allies for what, exactly, if the goal is a future in which those people are seen as expendable?
At best, it's mealy mouthed centrism. The most charitable reading of this I can give is that Peter Grey barely understands politics or how insulting his argument is. That he's saying all this on the platform of a known Covid conspiracy theorist is another bad sign, and makes me far less inclined to offer him that charity.
I know I'm getting transparently, undeniably political on my occult blog. I tend to avoid this for reasons I've stated in a previous post, but to summarize: I am often worried about the stink and taboo of what the general public will assume my Luciferianism means might rub off on vulnerable social issues and communities.
The exception I make, however, is for how those politics intersect with occult and pagan spaces.
This is someone who is a well regarded writer and publisher within our community saying that words like "fascist" and "transphobe" are needlessly divisive for witches. He is making this claim only a few years after the Black Flame conference was cancelled because it was discovered some of their speakers had ties to alt-right communities, which was handled (in the opinion of many, including myself) very poorly by its organizers... who are another popular occult publishing house. I got to watch that one unfold in real time, as I was meant to attend it and closely watching the Facebook groups for updates.
As I have said on a previous post... do I think Peter Grey is alt-right? I don't feel comfortable making that call. He could just be misguided, well meaning, and unaware of how damaging and regressive the implications of his words are. He may also be unaware of how often they echo the sentiments of people who dance around the edges of alt-right spaces as a more reasonable looking entry point to those ideologies.
Still. If witches, occultists, pagans, Luciferians, or anyone else try to unite with people who are widely believed to be transphobic, fascists, and racists, you are not going to end divisiveness. You are going to make the community uninhabitable for anyone who doesn't align with their very narrow view of personhood, because you see the people who genuinely wish them harm as more worthy allies in what you want for the future.
And again, I ask, for what future are those people expendable?
It isn't a great look, and I'd be of that opinion even if Lucifer: Princeps hadn't been a huge waste of time.

About
New followers: Please introduce yourselves so I have a general sense of why you're following me and so I know you're not a bot.
I may or may not respond, but I promise you I've read it. If you sent an intro more than a day ago and aren't blocked or have been told to leave, you can assume it's fine to stay and interact with me. Any method (messages, asks, DMs, replies) are fine by me.
Thank you to those of you who have already done so!!
***In the wake of 10/7/2023, the following links are required reading for all followers:
This article by Dara Horn
This post detailing a broad overview of the history of antisemitism
This post detailing a non-exhaustive list of antisemitic violence just within OP's (and my own) lifetime
This post that demonstrates just how easy it is to support Palestinians and also not be antisemitic
This list of resources for where/how to actually help the current situation in Israel/Palestine and also this list, and this list.
This reposted article is super long but worth it and I strongly recommend reading it too.
Check back later: more likely to follow
***As of 8/4/2023, I am listing this link and this link as required reading for all new followers who are Christian, were Christian, are non-Jews who grew up in a Christian culture and/or have only learned about Judaism through Christianity, before you follow me. I am being completely serious about this, I don't want you in my space unless you have taken a relatively short amount of time to be an ally to Jews and at least learned this perspective. If you fit this description and have already followed me, it would mean a lot to me if you would also do this. Thank you for respecting this boundary. I am happy to be a resource for people who are learning, but there will be required reading and these links are a prerequisite.***
[I put a cut in for length because I was tired of scrolling past it, but please keep reading for additional important information before you follow. Thanks!]
Facts about me:
Jewish - actual practice leans traditional egalitarian and I am part of both a Conservative and Modern Orthodox community
Midwesterner
Definitely an adult
Non-binary (they/them or ze/zir/zirs please!)
About the blog:
I’m going to try my best to keep this blog to primarily Judaism, comparative religion and theology, with the occasional side sprinkling of queer & trans stuff, BUT it is absolutely a personal blog at the end of the day.
I do talk about Israel and המצב stuff a lot these days. I'm not sure when or if that will change. I welcome a broad swath of opinions, so long as they objectively treat all parties involved as human and deserving of safety, stability, freedom, dignity, and peace. That is apparently a large ask these days, and a not-small part of why I keep talking about this issue. Please be part of the voices that give me hope for the future, okay?
Minors can follow and interact but please keep in mind that I’m probably closer to your parents' age than yours if you do want to interact with me directly.
Interactions:
Rude asks will be deleted. Harassing blogs will be blocked and probably reported.
I consider anything even remotely in the vicinity of trying to proselytize to me to be “harassing,” or at a minimum, rude. Just FYI.
Otherwise, nice interactions are welcomed.
Banter is encouraged; trolling will be ignored
Yeah, you can respond to me on the opinions I post but if I just don’t feel like engaging I may just ignore it and/or block you
I do use the block button liberally; it doesn’t mean I hate you, it means I don’t have the mental energy to exist in the same space as you
I auto-block TERFs/SWERFs, messianic blogs, explicitly anti-choice blogs, anti-vaxxer blogs, explicitly evangelizing xtian blogs, ace/aro-exclusionary blogs, transmedicalist blogs, anti-convert blogs, kahanist blogs, and other blogs that are obviously hateful (antisemitic, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, etc.) &/or promote harmful behavior.
Anything else, just ask.
Hard stances:
You're not going to change my mind on these things; I've looked at the evidence, my personal experiences, and thought about them long and hard, and I am not going to be swayed by an internet rando. I can (often, but not always) co-exist just fine with people who I disagree with, but if seeing my posts about this is going to upset you, just do us both a favor and block me now please.
Queer might be a slur in the mouths of some people, but my identity isn't. Don't reblog my posts if you're going to tag it with "q slur" or "q word" or censored in some way. I'm not Gay as in "I prioritize cis men over the entire rest of the community" but Queer as in "my personal labels are none of your business but my political stance on queer liberation sure as fuck will be."
I support the right of the Jewish people to self-determination in our ancestral homeland of Israel, the same way that I support other indigenous groups' right to self-determination in their ancestral homelands. If you don't, I'm going to need you to examine why Jews should be singled out of every other group to be denied this right or denied support in seeking it.
That said, I definitely do not agree with many of the decisions made by the Israeli government, especially (but far from exclusively) regarding their treatment of Palestinians. I think both Jews and Palestinians deserve to live in peace, safety, freedom, and self-determination for both. I'm not so arrogant as to think I know for sure the best solution for how to accomplish that, seeing as I don't live there myself. But my values are humanitarian across the board, which besides basic safety includes respecting cultural needs and access to important religious sites. Call that stance whatever you want, I don't care.
***Update post-10/7/23: Please read this article, this guide, and this theory of change, and consider becoming a friend of Standing Together. This is a group that truly cares about creating a just society that recognizes both peoples' deep roots in the region, legitimate grievances, and the truth of history. They are the ones doing the hard work on the ground to create a lasting and just peace together. No one is going anywhere; any real solution must recognize that.
I stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦
Abortion is a human right and should be safe, legal, available on demand, and shameless. It's a necessary medical procedure and it's completely barbaric that we're still talking about it as anything else.
Birth control, abortion, and no-fault divorce are actively positive parts of society and building healthy families.
Transition care is healthcare and also a human right. Allowing people to transition prevents self-harm and suicide, and has an extremely high efficacy rate with an exceptionally low level of risk or regret. We now have well over a century of data on this.
That said, detransitioners who are still supportive of trans people/aren't transphobic are more than welcome here, as any exploratory process deserves the right to say, "Interesting! But nope!"
Transunity, ace/aro positivity, and just inclusionism in general, 100%. Fuck off with anything else.
If you don't vaccinate yourself and your kids for any reason other than medical necessity, and especially if you promote anti-vaxxer views and the associated pseudoscience, you are actively harming the most vulnerable members of society for entirely selfish reasons and that makes you a bad person. I hope your kids bypass you to get vaccinated.

i know that this is an unreliable place to ask this but i think you're a trustworthy being and im a touch embarrassed by this. I was diagnosed with adhd when i was younger and i was medicated but thought we had it under control so we got me off the meds in like, 2 years. Its been like 8 years now and i keep having more and more issues, but i feel like if i tell mom or get help that I'm resetting all my progress and she'll not listen anyway. I'm an adult but it's easier to do things with support
Hey mate, you never need to be embarrassed about this sort of thing, let’s see what we can do for you.
Firstly, the reality is sometimes adhd like symptoms can fade in childhood and resurge later on, but they’re not typically registered correctly. Othertimes it’s consistent.
Predominantly, you can pretty much get ANYTHING under control with the right medication, but when you wean off of it, things can go a bit tits up.
>ADHD is treated primarily with a mixture of behavioural therapies and medications, requiring effort to maintain on all parties. (e.g. parents need to work to modify their behaviours and reactions to certain behaviours, and the child in question learns safe ways to react and this is done in conjunction to using medication to facilitate this).
It’s not unlike depression or bipolar, in this matter. Medication works in tandem with therapy, to facilitate attending therapy and continuing with your life; but sometimes people reach a point where it’s they feel they are ‘fine’ and everything is on an even keel... so they stop taking medication. There is often a brief period where things go well, then they crash; it is more dramatic depending on diagnosis and personal experiences; individualistic for everyone, really.
Why am I telling you this? To point out how utterly and ridiculously normal it is to suddenly have your symptoms reappear, even after you thought they’d gone/calmed down/been ‘fixed’.
-
I’ve found two Aussie resources which may be helpful in terms of support and information.
>ADHD AustraliaThey have a lot of information, a national helpline to take over your concerns with (Ph: 02 9889 5977), and several resources for kids, adults, parents and teenagers.
Alternate Number:
.
>ADDults with ADHDThey share the helpline with ADHD Australia, but also allow you to send emails for email support/counselling.
-
Alternately, if you would just like to talk about your situation and feelings with someone who will listen (and you can be anonymous if you wish), the following are helpful. They can bolster your confidence, and help make a plan about talking to your family, if you prefer.
>Lifeline (Ph: 13 11 14)Lifeline has trained counsellors on their national helpline who can talk you through any situation, simply listen, or help you make a plan as to how to move forwards. They also have Crisis Chat (Online Counselling) between 7pm & 4am (Sydney Time), seven days a week.
>Kids Helpline (Ph: 1800 55 1800)It caters for children, young adults and parents; here is the Youth & Young Adult section (for ages 13-25). Kids helpline has confidential, trained counsellors that offer assistance via the aforementioned phoneline, email counselling & online chat counselling.
Any of these resources may assist you.

So what do you do?
There are a few options.
>If writing down what is happening is easier for you, then do it, have it prepared for when you speak to your parent and/or doctor about what is happening. Documenting your symptoms and concerns helps some people.
>Try speaking to your parent first. You never know how they will react, until you have tried (unless you feel unsafe in this option). If not your parent, then a family member or close friend who you know will understand and support you.
You have the right to assistance, and to feel well. The fact this is impacting on your life, stressing you out, and that is most likely exacerbating the situation.
>Are you able to make and attend a medical appointment without a parent present (e.g. are you 15/16)? If so, this can be an option. However, if you are exceptionally concerned and unable to do so, presenting at a local free clinic or the hospital can be a good last resort to have someone professional listen to you. However, as it will be non-urgent, you may need to wait a significant degree of time.
>Utilise the resources. Even simply going through a few fact sheets can give you the words, the documented evidence you need to present the situation to family members/medical professionals about what is happening.
>Talk to people. Tell them what is happening for you, ask them if they’ve noticed anything; sometimes family is so close they don’t see your behaviours as anything but normal or ‘a bit naughty’ over time, and miss the signs. “Oh, that’s just how Dingolord is, always a bit fidgety.”
>Phrase your words in first person for maximum impact.“I am struggling to _____ and ______ because I have noticed my symptoms returning; especially ______, ________ and ________. Which are preventing me from completing tasks, activities, and impacting on my _________.” Etc.People understand and empathise better if you are honest, open, and put it into a perspective where they have to envision themselves in your place.
However, as previously mentioned, if speaking about it is difficult for you; then use written format. Write it, type it, leave cryptic symbols in crayon on the fridge... but put it down, explain the situation and give it to the person you trust most. “Mum, I’m struggling and I’m not sure how to explain, so I wrote it down.”Or, even the doctor. “There’s a lot going on, and I’m very stressed out about it, but I find it difficult to talk about... so I’ve written down what I’ve noticed, and how it’s impacting me.
Is this affecting your ability to focus on normal tasks? On schoolwork? Are you stressed? Has this thrown off your sleep schedule or messed up your appetite? Is this preventing you from hanging out with friends or involving yourself in social activities?
How is it affecting you? Write it down. Document the physiological and psychosocial concerns you are experience. Can you not get support within the household? Put that down too. That’s an important factor when assessing a case, support is imperative.
There are many facets to wellbeing, and practitioners in the medical and allied health fields are trained to assess them all. Usually if, say, someone is not sleeping, barely eating... the GP or social worker will go through their circumstances, find the root of the issue, and make referrals based on the identified issue. Same thing here.
If you have had a diagnosis that affected multiple spheres of your wellbeing (physical, emotional, behavioural, social, mental, environmental, familial, educational, etc.), then the fact you are concerned about it returning should be enough to do some degree of investigation.
-
There are people on your side, and people you can talk to in relation to this situation.
While I do hope this information and rudimentary plan helps... if it doesn’t? Just come back, mate, and we’ll try something different, no problem.

I never said it was easy. Ultimately, if getting a penis would make your life more satisfying and easier, try to get a penis. But, until then, or if you can't…
What's easy is to wallow and just fixate on what's wrong with your body and how it will never be right, or to fantasize about the magic (and difficult to obtain) cure for the deficiency. It's easy to get stuck in that cycle of "everything is bad, so I'll focus on the bad in great detail," but that will continually make you more and more miserable about not having a penis. It will make it a lot more likely that you end up so miserable about it that you self-harm or attempt suicide, if penis construction is as out of reach for you as it is for the average trans man.
What's initially more difficult, but probably more worth it, is to break through that narrative and realize that life with an imperfect body is still a life worth living. Society constructs its view of disabled bodies much the way truscum construct the transgender body: as lacking, as missing pieces, and then both act like what is missing means that our lives are so terrible and lacking that the only thing to do is either fix the deformity or be euthanized. The disability theory response to this is that yes, our bodies may not work right, but we still are alive in them, and having an "imperfect" body does not require us to be unhappy. We may not be able to do everything we want or feel like we should be able to, but we can still do a lot of things, and we deserve to be able to enjoy as many of the things we can do as we can.
So you're missing a penis. That does suck. That is very sucky. But on the other hand, that does not make you less of a man, and anyone who is a good ally should still be able to treat you as a man, and once they get used to doing that they really will think of you as a man. And what genitals you do have are not the shape you like, true, but they probably still work right for peeing? That's good, if they do, it could be a lot worse. And if they do work for sex, them being not a penis doesn't mean that you as a person don't deserve orgasms. Get what toys you need to make that work, because good sexual functioning usually does improve mental health. Get an STP device if that makes you happier. But basically, don't let yourself think that not having a penis means you have to accept being miserable about it, or that you can't have sexual pleasure, or that you can't really be a man. You are allowed to have nice things even if your body isn't perfect the way society says it should be.
Society says your body has to fit a specific physical phenotype to be a man. It also says that bodies either have to be near perfect or they have to be miserable wrecks only deserving of death. Kill or cure. Disability theory says there's no such thing as a perfect body, that all bodies are varying degrees of imperfect and always aging and getting less perfect, and we should all try to adapt our environment so we can have good lives even if there is no magic cure, or while we wait for a cure that's hard to get. Because we deserve more than just being miserable about what we lack, and what we don't have that society says we need. So get yourself a penis if you can, because it sounds like for you that's a thing that could help you, but since that takes a while, be nice to yourself in the meantime, and don't punish yourself for randomly drawing an imperfect body that society doesn't see as manly enough. You still deserve good things, and no matter what anybody says, you can have a lot of them even with a body that doesn't work like you want it to. And there's no reason to just fixate on how miserable you are, when there are also good things you can have even with an "imperfect" body. So I hope that helps some. And it takes a while to unravel the societal messages, but it's worth doing. I really hope you try.
Hard fact: cisgender people also get gender dysphoria.
They get it because they believe that gender is caused by one’s body. A cis person may become convinced that his or her body is not masculine or feminine enough to be a real man or woman’s body, despite having a relatively normal phenotype. That is gender dysphoria, even though the person identifies with their birth-assigned gender and thus is cis.
A cis woman who thinks her breasts need to be larger because they are “unfeminine” and who seeks out push-up bras and breast augmentation has gender dysphoria. She is still cis.
A cis man who constantly worries his penis is too small and who seeks out enlargement pills or surgical augmentation has gender dysphoria. He is still cis.
Both of these people have gender dysphoria, not because they’re secretly trans, but because they identify with their assigned gender but don’t think their own body is what the body of someone with that gender should be. This is because they believe that having a certain kind of body is what makes you a man or a woman. If these people realized and internalized that the body and what it looks like does not control gender and that they are doing a perfectly good job of being a man or a woman regardless of what they look like, they would have much less gender dysphoria.
The secret is that trans people can do this too! Your body doesn’t have to look like anything in particular to be a woman’s body or a man’s body or even a nonbinary body; it’s society that’s being a dick and insisting on it and you don’t have to put up with that!
This mindset takes a while to internalize and it likely won’t get rid of all dysphoria. But it will help. It may help a lot. It will certainly help you a lot more than sitting around going “Woe is me, my body is so wrong and imperfect and inherently gendered, all I can do is think about how miserable I am and dream of the medicine or surgery that will magically turn me into the cis ideal, because I think being trans is a bad thing.”
(Never mind that there’s always something else to be dysphoric about, no matter how much work you have done. Like I said, even cis people get gender dysphoria. If you only focus on how dysphoric and wrong your body is, no matter how cis you look, you won’t believe you really look cis.)
Divorce gender from the body, and you will get rid of a lot of dysphoria. This is a fact. You may still need to transition to pass better (or to not pass as the wrong thing), because misgendering is annoying and sometimes dangerous, and passing can mean the difference between being murdered or not. (Or being able to find steady employment or not, and so on.) Or yes, to bring dysphoria down to where you can manage it with a better mindset. In all these cases, transition is medically necessary or at least a strongly recommended elective, and we do not have to call transness a disease to have this be covered by insurance. Transition care is endocrinology or reproductive healthcare, and those are already required to be covered, especially when lack of care is causing you problems at work or at home. Or we could simply try to pass a law requiring insurers to cover transition care in all plans! I think we could manage that in the next decade, if you all get off your asses and stop whining about dysphoria (seriously, you’re not special for having it) and things like transtrenders that don’t even exist.
Gender dysphoria doesn’t make you trans and in fact cis people can have gender dysphoria; transness isn’t a disease and it doesn’t have to be made into one for transition care to be covered; bodies are not inherently gendered and society is what genders them externally; transtrenders aren’t real and you not understanding how something works doesn’t mean it’s fake, you’re just a snob and want to feel special; even if transtrenders were real the problem would still be the medical establishment and the cis-identifying doctors, not the “tucutes”; and thinking like a truscum will make you more dysphoric and more miserable and might make you still have dysphoria after transition. Also, nounself pronouns were a fad for like 2 months in 2014 and truscum are the only people who think that anyone really uses them.
I think that covers everything, and I really hope some truscum read this and decided to get out of the cisnormativity-worshiping death cult and stop making themselves miserable.

I am 17 but all my life since I was a kid I have been hearing things that aren't there in the physical world. I'll hear just whispers here and there but as of recently I have been hearing actual voices, loud bangs and even music. I heard a voice say to me "do you know Ethan? He's dead" and just yesterday a female voice said to me "what if you're needed" and this past week I have been seeing many spirit orbs with my own eyes, does this sound like I'm developing clairaudience and clairvoyance?
Afternoon you lovely gifted soul you ;)
YES!
You are so totally gifted. You aren’t just *developing* clairaudient abilities, you ARE clairaudient.
Your clairvoyance seems to be dependent at the moment on your comfort level, I feel a bit of hesitance in you to fully *see* who might be speaking to you.
You’re mostly receiving white noise / random info & messages… You’re basically tuning into what I like to call “Spirit Radio”. As you go through your everyday life, you’re picking up on telepathic thoughts & words spoken by Spirit.
When you heard “Do you know Ethan? He’s dead” - Spirit shows me that this message coming through from an Earthbound Spirit (a Ghost).
When you heard “What if you’re needed?” - Spirit shows me this came through from a Spirit Guide / Spiritual Ally of yours.
* Keep Reading to learn more about Clairvoyant & Clairaudient abilities + Bonus Info about developing those gifts further *
If you wish to expand your Clairvoyant & / or Clairaudient abilities, here is some info & further suggestions for you:
I’ve pulled some info from a Mediumship Development workshop I’ve taught in the past. See how you feel about these suggestions, and try to work with / accept these gifts of yours in order to foster more clarity & understanding of the messages coming through.
Clairvoyance(“Clear Seeing”)
The ability to see via the 3rd eye, objects, people & events in another realm or along the past, present or future timeline of events
The number 1 most sensationalized gift - accuracy is difficult so don’t believe all of the hype
May appear as still images (like photos), moving clips (like movies)
Can be as subtle as seeing colours, shapes, orbs, shadows, outlines, etc.
Requires understanding (and sometimes interpretation) of what you see - [ view this post then scroll to the bottom to the “Bonus Info” to learn about the difference between Literal Clairvoyance & Figurative / Symbolic Clairvoyance ]
Typically present in those that have prophetic or vivid dreams - or those that have a large amount of success in meditation or spiritual visualization exercises
Development: What if I told you once a message is seen it can never be unseen? Treat images, visions, movie clips, etc. like you would your NetFlix direct streaming - fast forward, rewind, pause, stop, start, etc.Practice image recall - imagine all that has been seen physically & spiritually is catalogued away in your “memory banks” as files, boxes, photos, DVDs, etc.Sit in meditation and access something you saw in a dream or anytime in the past.
Deeper Connection: Work with your Spirit Guides / Spiritual Allies to request more information, more visual detail, ask to see things from a different perspective or with more clarity.
Clairaudience “Clear Hearing”
The ability to receive words, sounds, vibrations from another person, animal, object or event
One of the more underrated “Clair” gifts & often not spoke of to the same extent
May manifest as speaking thoughts to yourself (bouncing around in your head - your thought in the forefront, then another voice answering in your same sound/tone in the background), or picking up on phantom sounds (i.e. breathing when no one is around, music when there is none playing, bell chiming, animals making noise, etc.)
May begin manifesting as a buzzing or static noise in the ears, also ringing (especially in one ear but not both), phantom name calling
Requires keen observation of what the sound is & suspension of logic & reason when hearing female vs male tones of voices, many voices, etc. Typically present with those that often sing, hum, or speak to themselves
Development:What if I told you that the voice that responds to you with your “internal conversations” is not your own, but that of your Higher Self or a Spirit Guide? Try to notice any subtle changes to that voice inside of your head - is it slightly deeper than yours (signifying male), more airy or tingly (female), older/wiser, are the words used the same that you would use conversationally?
Deeper Connection: If you continue to receive a buzzing, static noise or ringing then simply ask Spirit to send the message via a lower pitch or frequency that you will recognize. When you start to hear sound, quiet/still yourself (or others), pay attention, and ask for the sound to play again, for the volume to go higher, lower, or to receive in a way that you will understand. Most importantly, when you are being spoken to *engage* in the conversation by speaking back. It’s only through acknowledging what has been said that you can receive more information & learn why you were sent this message.

Overview of Candela Gentle Hair Removal, Miami.
All of our clients have been extremely happy with Candela machines. We hear doctors and patients both comment that it is the best laser on the market today. Plus, it is extremely versatile and will easily go from hair removal to vein treatment. So it is great for clinics and practitioners who are doing a wide variety of treatments.
Does Candela Gentle hurt?
Pain is always a concern with hair removal. Waxing, tweezing, or threading hurt. Who knows what the long-term effects of fusing depilatory creams are
The Candela Gentle system is different. It comes complete with a Dynamic Cooling Device. Doctors uses this device to spray the upper layer of skin with a cooling solution.
This solution instantly freezes the very top layer of skin. Within a couple milliseconds, the laser hits the same spot. This one-two punch of cold and heat that takes less than a second means most people will remain perfectly comfortable throughout the procedure.
If you think you're a little more sensitive to pain than the average person, ask Doctor to apply a numbing creamas an extra precaution. Then relax. You're on your way to that hair-free look and feel you want.
Need Multiple Sessions
Having many hair follicles even in a small area. Targeting all of themin one session isn't possible, but each session leaves you with fewer active hair follicles. The number of sessions required depends on:
· Skin tone and color of hair.
· The size of the area covered.
· The number of areas covered.
If you have darker hair on lighter skin, you will get the fastest results. The laser uses the contrast between hair color and skin color to guide it. A single area will typically take two to six sessions. When you come in for your consultation, Doctor can assess how many treatments you'll likely need.
After The Procedure
Your skin may be red for a few minutes or a few hours. As this redness fades you'llnote smoother skin with less hair. Best of allis that it's permanent. While you might need multiple sessions, the treated follicles can no longer produce a hair.
Application of Candela laser
Candela lasers work for the following applications:
· Body contouring
· Hair Removal
· Wrinkle reduction
· Skin rejuvenation
· Acne treatments
· Leg veins
· Vascular anomalies
· Sun-damaged skin
· Cellulite reduction
Benefits of Candela laser
Benefits of the Candela GentleMax for Laser Hair Removal Includes:
· Safe to treat all skin types
· Quick treatment, and can be done during the lunch break
· No downtime
· Pain free
· Safe and effective
· Permanent results
Pros & Cons of Candela laser
· Many customers are opting for Candela machines on the second hand market because they can be repaired quickly and easily
· Doctors and patients both comment that it is the best laser on the market today.
· Extremely versatile and will easily go from hair removal to vein treatment. So it is great for clinics and practitioners who are doing a wide variety of treatments.
· Candela lasers require less servicing. In general things are far less likely to go wrong.
· The addition of cryogen spray in the cooling element as well as a litany of ‘disposables’ like lenses, lamps and fibers make the cost to operate the Gentlemax a bit higher than we’d wish to pay some days.
