i finished this in 2.5 hrs i know im crazy but i’ve been craving a mingus fic like this i think there are not enough words to describe how much i love every single word in this

i kept a running note of my fav lines so i cld paste them back on here once i was done but i stopped at about chapter 18 because i just kept reading until i remembered it again MDSJKGHSKJH but i think it’s safe to say the quotes i did keep were all indeed about how glorious mingus is. absolutely perfect. here’s the list in case (also has some live reactions from some moments i just. yes):

i still have no words. i’m most likely going to continue thinking of this until the next century. truly splendid, magnificent, spectacular, beyond any comprehensible language in this whole universe. my heart truly only beats for this fic only
