Nostalgia
I'm going to relive my history with the site a lil, but it's already running long, so I'll put it under a readmore.
When I was first told of Neopets in ~2000 I was frequenting a Digimon oekaki (drawing board) and drawing Lopmon/Floramon/Kiwimon with alarming regularity. I joined Neopets because friends on the oekaki asked me to. I made a blue shoyru, which I painted purple because I liked the user hrobi's purple shoyru Antorcha and the art on the site card for Antikia Lighten. I think at the time I thought the site made the card based on the user's pet.
I joined my friends' guild, and in a guild event I won a silver paint brush and re-painted my shoyru. It was actually pretty interesting, because I was trying to make her look mirror-shiny in art I made of her, and that taught me a lot about colouring. I played for a bit over a year. I legit talked about 9/11 as it happened in that guilds' lil chat area. I had to calm down an American kid who went by the name 'Piggy' because her parents were REALLY upset about it and she was panicking. And shortly after I lost interest and the login details.
When I came back March 1st 2002, I made my kuroi_muchi account but occasionally I would look up my first account. It was wiped in the purge, however. The first pet I made on my kuroi_muchi account was a gelert... But I didn't connect with the old gelert art and didn't feel inspired by it.. Also, I forgot to capitalise her name, and that bothered me. I pounded her. She still exists on-site, but now she's a Woodland Poogle. As I write this, she is 8005 days old, so she is almost 22 years old, like my account. Her owner plays semi-regularly, but was last spotted about three months ago.
I still have the second pet I ever made on my current main, but she's on a side account. She's a Halloween Aisha named Itla, and given I always drew the red 'outfit' as part of her fur I don't want to remove it to put other clothes on her... She was my first serious roleplay character (a demon catgirl RP'd on MSN messenger) and now I like to joke that she's happily retired.
Shortly after making kuroi_muchi, I found a Neopet-themed Oekaki called 'Sako's Oekaki'. This drawing board was accessed via Sako the then-shadow aisha's petpage. Sako's petpage is now a jumbled mess of broken script, but it mentions the Oekaki to this day.
My Halloween aisha was quite popular there! The board focused quite a bit on aishas and roleplay, as well as art. There was an ongoing theme with angel and demon aishas - and my Halloween girl was obviously one of the demons. I'm not even going to say it was cringe - we were kids playing with concepts of belief and morality. I feel like that's pretty important when you are developing your world views. I made a lot of very dear friends there. Actually, I met my first ever girlfriend there. Long distance, but cute and meaningful. One of my friends from that board wanted to make plushie pets together, to match. Plushie grundo/chomby MPs were under 100k np, so we made those. He made a grundo, and I made Kijiwa the plushie chomby. And I kinda fell in love with plushie neopets after that. I wanted to make more... but then conversion happened and they lost a lot of their charm, and gosh they were EXPENSIVE, so I didn't until much later.
When the purge happened a lot of people had long lists of names they wanted, but I only had one. My name is Rain, and I like birds, and I like the meaning of 'rainbird' - a bird that sings to warn of an incoming storm. Rainbird was the only name I grabbed when it was released, and they became the pet to represent me. For a while I lab zapped them, unsure what would work as 'me'... But I eventually decided that they had to be a bird, and I would acknowledge my love of plushies and try to draw them the way they should look. So Rainbird is a plushie bruce. If Toy had been around I might have been tempted, to be honest! But I quite enjoy my fat purple penguin.
Rainbird is female on-site (but uses they/them) because I made them before my own public transition. It's one of the few things I might like to change, if it becomes easier/cheaper in the future. I am aligned more with masculinity than femininity, but... Well, it's fine to have little markers of how I've grown. Hell, I 'announced' my transition subtly with art of Rainbird. Before the pride flags were added to the site, and when discussion of the subject was against the rules. I wasn't discussing it, though. I just... drew a bruce wearing a bow.
I think I won a gold BC trophy for this picture.
It's probably silly that I can connect a lot of memories to a pet site. It's probably silly that I have a rainbow chomby plushie on my desk right now, when I'm in my mid-30s. It's probably silly how sentimental I'm feeling about all this. It's probably silly to be running a blog dedicated to a 25 year old site and the art that people make based on it. Sometimes it's nice to be silly.
This year I made Teald - based on an OC I have been writing and roleplaying for years. It felt like coming back, looping around to something familiar. I will take inspiration from strange places, and I will bring my inspiration back to places I know. I am glad the NCUCs came back - realistically, that faerie lenny mp probably would have sat in my SDB for years more. I just don't like the converted lenny art. But I knew that if Teal was anything, they'd be a faerie lenny.
I don't know why I felt like sharing all of this. Perhaps this too is a little marker I am leaving online, so I can look at it years from now and remember. If you read it all... well, thanks. Thanks for coming on this stroll down memory lane with me. There's more I didn't add - I have many more Neopets, after all! But this felt worth sharing, or at least writing down somewhere.
Stay excellent.

Work in progress Wednesday
Now, I've never done this before (nor do I know if I will do continue to do this but thought I'd at least do it once) this WIP doesn't need much more work, other then a read through and maybe a few word changes here and there but enough of that, enjoy this draft from my skyrim thieves guild fanfiction "The one who lived". Inspiration for this post: @thequeenofthewinter
(Brynjolf's pov)
"Did you get what I told you?" Raven questioned, as I walked in. "Yep" I smiled, tossing her a coin purse "just hope they don't mind a couple missing gems" I grinned, folding my arms. "Brynjolf" Raven exclaimed, as I pulled a couple flawless emeralds from my pocket. "You know I can't help myself lass" I chuckled, earning a deserved look of disapproval from the guildmaster. "Fuck off" she retorted, walking away. I shook my head with a smirk and repocketed the two green gemstones, taking a seat between Delvin and Vex "you sure are good at getting yourself in trouble" Vex snickered, shoving some drink down her gullet. "Like everyone else in this gods forsaken cistern, the trick is to get yourself out of it" I replied. "Whatever" she said, leaning back in her chair. Heh, good ol' Vex. Suddenly, the tavern went still and silent. I looked around trying to figure out why, as I did, I noticed a blue spectral mist hovering over me. "For once. Someone tell me they can see what I'm seeing" I exclaimed, I'd bet money this is Mercer. Delvin and Vex nodded, one right after the other. I sighed, this is going to sound crazy "Mercer?" I asked staring at the anomaly. The mist moved to the side, "the one and only" he smirked, his transparent from taking shape. I rolled my eyes and turned back to the table, hoping ignoring the situation would have some sort of desirable effect
"Am I drunk or are you weirdly calm about this Brynjolf?" Delvin spoke up, doing what the others seem to be too afraid of, breaking the silence. "Maybe it's because he's been pestering me for weeks at this point" I explained annoyedly. "You can blame Nocturnal for that" Mercer laughed. "I don't blame Nocturn for anything asshole" I grumbled. "You could've told us about this" Vex snapped. "Are you daft?" I shot the Imperial a frustrated look, "you really think I would just tell you I had Mercer Frey's fucking ghost following me around and make myself out to be a madman?" I added. "I thought you already were a madman" Mercer said, a smile plastered to his deathly face. "You shut the fuck up" I exclaimed, the chair falling to the floor as I stood up. "You killed Gallus and tried to kill Raven and you expect me to not be piss'd off" I exclaimed, "first bandits ruin the only home I ever knew and then you try to fuck up everything else, hell, if it weren't for Aisha, Raven and Sofie I'd be convinced the soul reason I existed was to be miserable. Now leave me the fuck alone" I yelled, anger engulfing me. With heavy breaths, I made my way out of the tavern, slamming the door behind me.
(Vex's pov)
Wow, not sure I've ever seen Brynjolf this mad. Mercer's ghost stood silently in the middle of the room "just let it be known, you deserved every bit of that and then some" Sapphire barked, knowing more of the story behind Bryn's outlash then anyone else in the room. The ghost of our former colleague evaporated as Raven, Aisha and Annabelle walked in. "What was all the yelling about?" Raven exclaimed. "I'm not sure what else to say, except you need to go find you're husband" I explained, gesturing towards the door. Raven stared at the door for a moment "Vex keep things in order, Aisha you're coming with me" the dunmer exclaimed, she and Aisha walked out in search of their firey redhead. I wonder where he took off to?

I am stupidly excited to see Moga Sweetheart's outfit in Sunbreak! Tri is my first MH game and so Moga Sweetheart is also my favorite Guild Gal - I read somewhere her name is apparently Aisha? I actually did set this as my layered armor back in GU, it's just so cute.
I mostly made it with no thought for skills and stats lol, it's not as good as the full Golm armor I already made, but man, the maxed out luck skill is no joke.
Look at them mantles drop like rain, baby.
The Rathian mantle drop is so funny because I didn't even hunt Rathian, the target was Mizutsune and I just used Rathian as free damage while Wyvern riding...and got a mantle. When I near decimated the MR Rathian population a while back trying to get a mantle and had to give up lol.
Oh, and it matches well with the Cohoot Spelunker Crew outfit too.
#monster hunter rise#monster hunter sunbreak#sunbreak#mh rise sunbreak#mh armor#still mostly inactive i just wanted to gush about this set real quick lol

Omg you have warrior u oc’s ?! Please tell me about them!
I've been in the fandom for a hot minute and a half, so I got a few and they break into two generations lmao.
1st Generation (2013-2014) Made for funsies.
2nd Generation (Present) Made for the future issue we're working on.
It's kinda hard to talk about the 2nd Gen ones without spoiling too much, so I'll just stick to stuff that's irrelevant or not covered in the draft??? They'll be at the bottom, so feel free to dip out of the post if you don't want spoilers.
With that said....
*Inhales*
Gen 1 OCs
Ophilia - Y'know how almost everyone had some fem unicorn/pegasus to ship with Hevvin lmao; uhh this one was mine. She's less of a character and more like a concept. I liked the idea of a counterpart to Hevvin's 'magical creature killing things on purpose' with a 'magical creature killing things on accident'. She's supposed to be a clydesdale like pegasus that was also poisonous to the touch. She was used to being hunted for her feathers, and was supposed to have long fur/hair. But like really hated humans because they wanted her magic to hurt each other; made no sense for her to have a human disguise, but eh. Also I was an inexpirienced artist, so I made her super skinny/tall like all my other drawings, but really she should have been BUFF. I never gave her a concrete personality and was too nervous to do anything other than use her as a dress-up doll for different outfits that would fit the aesthetic. In hindsight she doesn't really fit in the world (Aisha denounced pegasus existing, and Hevvin's human form is canonically from one of Leenan's lost spells soooooo) but I still like the idea of a character that was poisous to the touch. Ended up finding a VN series that scratched that itch, so I officially retired her. She did make a cameo in my fic Plain Gold Ring as one of the monsters Emet ran into on her adventures. This is what she'd look like if I made her now.
JD (Can't find his full name, my gut says Jasmine Diane???)- Made for my fic Plain Gold Ring as a travel campanion for Emet and Rhodri (because there's no one else in the comic their age lmao). I knew I wanted a 'neutral' party for them to talk to so they weren't always talking to each other. He's the youngest of seven brothers, I think he was 11??? (him and his brothers all were given girl names by their stubborn mom who thought naming the baby before birth would give her a girl). He's a very meek and gullible person and a grain farmer; the kind of kid Rhodri usually scams. A pushover toatie made sense for an added member to the squad, so I had Rhod drag him along and they made him do all the stuff they didn't want to do. He ended up being a fairly practical and chill person as the story progressed, whose biggest flaw was not speaking up. He used the adventure to step up in the world and act as a merchant (so he sells all the treasures and junk Emet finds overseas and doesn't like.) With the happily ever after being them forming an adventure/merchant guild. I seem to remember submitting him to the OG tumblr for review (I can't remember why) but he got artist approved! I snuck him into the background of pg 28 of Ambrosia since we needed people in the streets according to the thumbs [that by no means makes him canon, it's more an easter egg than anything else]. I still really like him and the idea of his fam from a worldbuilding standpoint, though I have 0 plans for him. I may go back and revise Plain Gold Ring, if so, he'd get developed further.
Gen 2 OCs (Spoiler Reduced)
Belladonna Ashenburrow (sp?) Age 13 and a half
Biological daughter of Freya Ashenburrow and her 1st husband (supposedly), but not the oldest of Finn's cousins. She enjoys studying ediquette/customs of other cultures, making tea pastries and torturing her step sisters's tutors until they quit. Permenantly housebound, Bella is determined to get married first and be a celebrated nobel lady to spite her family (not that she's made any progress thus far). She is first in line to inherit the family home as the only descendent that is blood related to the Ashenburrows AND holds a noble title AND willing to marry any noble her family picks out. No one in the family is happy about this. Her mother and father are deceased and her step father is always away at work as a woodsman. She refers to everyone in her family by cutsey nickname versions of their names with exception of her grandfather (Papa) and her step father (Mother's Second husband). Her aunt and grandmother try to pretend she's not in the house. (She is LOOSELY inspired by the tale of Cinderella, in that she has step-sisters and an akward family)
Rosaline Ashenburrow Age 15
Technically the eldest of Finn's cousins, she entered the family through her father's second marriage (and as such is not a blood-realitive). Despite that, she was very close with her cursed step-mother and was her unofficial favorite child. Her favorite story from her step-mother was how marrying her father made it feel like the curse was gone, that true love isn't the first love you find, but the one you build through hard work. She wears Freya's old dresses to feel close to her again, though they are extremely dated. Still, she struggles with adapting to the expectations of noble ladies and often falls short of her aunt's expectations. Rose enjoys gardening and has an interest in white witchcraft, but is too scared to pursue it in the home given past events. She discovered of Leenan's existance after her suitor accidently triggered an old hex Leenan had left behind. (He got turned into a bear mid proposal; he's kinda stuck as a bear until further notice). She's inspired by Rose Red from "Snow White and Rose Red".
Clarice Ashenburrow Age 5
Fairytale rules state there's always 2 step sisters; so I thought it'd be interesting to have one be older and one be younger. When she talks, it's in test bubbles with layered crayon/pencil dialogue to replicate how young kids have rapid/repeating speech. She's extremely hyperactive and has grown up in the Ashenburrow home realively unsuppervised (she has Rose, but Rose gets busy with lessons and other things). She's quite the terror, but when she's older she'll focus her energy into playing piano instead of tearing the house apart. She also has a habit of biting people when she's upset. She doesn't remember her mother at all or Freya and often tries to get Senna and her grandmother's attention by missbehaving (it rarely works). I wouldn't say she's a brat, more like an unchecked ball of chaos. She actually adores her older sisters (and her cousin once they meet); but no one has time to play with her 🙁 Inspired by Bell's younger sister in Beauty and the Beast. Fun fact, the disney animation removed her character from the final draft of the movie to make Bell seem more isolated/lonely in town.
I keep flipflopping on whether she should be Bella's step sister or half sister. Step sister would be more traditional and secure Bella's role as heir, buuut half sister would mean Rose could have been raised by Freya for longer and raise the stakes of competition in the house. Either way, she'd be treated the same in the issue she appears.
Senna Ashenburrow Age 37
Not technically an OC, but she doesn't really appear in the formspring or in WUPurgatory; so her personality was concocted by me and Coffee. She's Leenan's elder sister, and the fact Coffee calls her Finn's "wine aunt" makes me laugh because I associate her behavior with my boomer grandparents lmao. Definately a functional alcoholic though, but an ideal duchess (ediquette is on point, dresses immaculate, socialable with all the right people, etc.) She has a "close friend" *cough*wife*cough* whom she's been with since they were 22. She figured she could avoid the pressures of an arranged marriage by supporting one of her sisters; and in return get left alone. Freya seemed like the safer bet (unfortunately she had all girls!) and now is stuck training her nieces on how to care for the duchey. She's been pushing Rose to take control, because she thinks Rose would be inclined to let her do whatever she wants. Until then, she stuck waiting for her parents to pass, but they're stubborn and in good health.
She HATES kids and is mostly taking care of them out of a sense of duty. She's not wicked/abusive, just emotionally constipated and uncomfortable around young people.

The one who lived: Chapter four, part 2 "The ghosts of our past"
Happy WIP day!!
I don't have much to say other than enjoy
And that I'm tired.. and sore from falling down some rocks into a muddy creek bed
After me, my sister and our uncle had to chase our two donkeys back in after they got out and visited the neighbors chicken pin for bit
Taglist: @vvkingofgaybisciutsvv @thequeenofthewinter (if you want to be tagged swing by my askbox)
(Brynjolf's pov)
The girls looked at each other, "well.., I'm honestly not sure what I expected but it certainly wasn't that" Raven spoke, breaking the growing silence. Aisha nodded in agreement, actually I'm not totally sure if the nod was to agree with Raven or if she would rather it seem she was following the conversation rather than not. Raven stood and began to pace "why would Mercer come back?" She said under her breath, mostly talking to herself. "However he came back, Nocturnal had something to do with it" I explained, joining Raven in standing. Aisha followed suit. "Nocturnal?" Aisha questioned. "Karliah can explain better than we can, trust me" Raven replied, her arms folded over her chest as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. I gazed back toward the city walls, wondering why and how things have turned out the way they have, that wondering is in vain I'm afraid. I've wondered this a lot in my life, nothing ever came from it then so I can't see why anything would come of it now.
A rustle of leaves and Aisha handing me my satchel, broke me away from my wondering mind. I took my bag, pulling the strap over my head and arm. "Thanks" I mumbled, my thoughts trying to consume me once again. Suddenly, I felt Aisha's fur against my skin as she hugged me tightly. I sighed into my sister's shoulder, as I hugged her back. "We'll head back to the guild" Raven began, "and Brynjolf, if Mercer's ghost is appearing to you, maybe you can bring him out of hiding". "I'll try" I replied, "you know how Mercer is.. or was.. or whatever" I added, turning my head to stare off into the distance. "Ture" Raven agreed, a hand on her chin in a thinking manner.
We returned to the Cistern and were met with a bunch of cheers, Rune came up to hug me. "Are you gonna be alright?" He asked, pulling away to look at me, arms still hung around me loosely. "Eventually" I breathed. Rune turned and pulled me into his side, laying his arm across my shoulders. The blonde Imperial is somewhat taller than me, at six-foot even I'm not exactly short but Rune is seven-inches taller than me.
"Papa!" Sofie ran towards me, arms out stretched. I scoped her into a hug and she hummed contently. "What happened earlier papa?" She asked. "It's... hard to explain" I replied. I let Sofie down, she hugged Raven before running off to play. I gripped the strap of my leather satchel, breathing deeply. "You sure you'll be alright? Seems like if something can happen, it'll happen to you" he remarked, smoothly moving his arms as he talked.
"Rune's got a point ya know" Sapphire exclaimed, the Nord woman walked over and stopped at my side. Rune, Sapphire and myself are quite the team. Sapph doesn't act like she cares what me and Rune stir up but she's not as cold as she acts. after hearing Rune's story, I started dragging him along on jobs with myself and Sapphire. Amongst the guild, there are some thieves that are never far from each other. Delvin and Vex are usually seen near each other, despite their bickering. If me, Sapphire or Rune are headed out for work the other two usually follow along weather we're needed or not, if we're not busy otherwise. Karliah is usually following Raven around, discussing business matters and such. Other than Vekel, Tonilia would usually be more of a loner but I've seen her hanging around Aisha and Annabelle. That is when Aisha isn't following me around and Anna isn't helping Raven and Karliah.
Raven started toward the door to the sleeping quarters, once at said door, she turned around and folded her arms over her chest. Waiting for us, Aisha looked at me and nodded. I followed the lasses to the guildmaster's office. "Alright Brynjolf, see if you can get this coward to show himself" Raven explained. "Coward?" I asked, raising a brow. "If Mercer's going to appear to you exclusively to bully you and won't face me or anyone else in the guild, then he's a coward. Plain and simple" Raven replied. "Fair enough" I said. "Mercer?" I asked quietly. "Even if you don't show yourself, just know you're in deep shit" I added.
Suddenly, a ball of blackness appeared in the corner that I was staring into. The void didn't say bell-shaped for long, it busted open "Nocturnal.." I murmured.

Re-imagine Snape
Someone recently went through pretty much every Snape-positive meta, sometimes with my own additions, that I reblogged (thank you, sweet person!), and for one, wow! I hadn't realised I had so much of it floating on my blog. For another, rereading one of the posts brought something to the forefront that I was too emotional at the time to formulate.
I sometimes struggle to with understanding criticism of media, when the critical voices come from people with a very different lived experience from my own. I am a cis white female who lives in a country with socialised healthcare, I am fully aware that I am insulated by privilege and accept that there are certain things, that I will never fully understand. Doesn't mean I shouldn't at least try. There is an exercise that I found useful, even though it falls back on the use of... very narrow stereotypes.
When 50 Shades of Grey suddenly went mainstream, I found the best way to explain why I disliked the franchise, despite it's fanfic origins, was to substitute the names of the protagonists with arabic sounding ones. Anastacia and whatshisname Mr. Grey became Aisha and Yusuf. And suddenly the fact that the male protagonist demands authority over what the female one wears, eats, where she lives, what she buys, who she socialises with and what she talks about, all outside of their sex play, stops sounding edgy and kinky, and starts looking a whole lot like abuse. Because we are conditioned to recognise abuse only when applied to certain groups, when viewed through certain lens, and it was easier to identify what my exact problem with 50 Shades was, only when I fully leaned into the stereotypes, eliminating my blind spot.
Now, reimagine Severus Snape as a black boy/man. He grew up poor and disadvantaged, in a town/part of town where most people had similar struggles. His home was abusive and neglectful, and he is socially awkward, whether as a result of the neglect or because it is something inherent to him, it doesn't matter. Despite having gained access to an elite school and showing talent, it is clear that his upbringing makes him an outcast. He is discriminated against and is further sidelined, subtly and overtly, by other students, by teachers and by the Headmaster. He is sorted into a House where the majority of racists are sorted into. He is denied access to networking opportunities by Professor Slughorn, despite his show of aptitude. He is constantly and viciously bullied by boys from very rich, very privileged families (I know, that only Sirius and James are from Ancient and Noble Families, but they are also the main driving forces behind the abuse at school; Peter and Remus were at best characterised as hangers-on), and his teachers ignore it; to the point that when his life is endangered the Headmaster outright refuses to even publicly aknowledge any wrongdoing by the responsible parties. He has no recourse against bullying, because he is much more in danger of being expelled himself if he retaliates in kind than to receive justice if he follows the acceptable course of action; and we don't really know how much bullying or peer pressure of participation he was under from his own housemates.
He will have very quickly realised, that even if he manages to finish the school he will have a very hard time to be compensated fairly for his work, despite his talents; because people will look down on him either because of his class background, or his race or his lack of social graces. And his only friend, a white girl, despite sharing the disadvantage of class and race (in the sense that she is also not a pureblood, since blood purism was used as a metaphor for racial inequality), she had a very different experience than him. One - she didn't grow up in an abusive household, two - because her family wasn't quite as poor as his, since, you know, her dad didn't drink away all their income; and three - she was planted into a much more socially flexible environment to make connections, aka the Gryffindor house.
Hell, even the way that some parts of HP fandom insist on hypersexualising the relationship of two prepubescent children is consistent with the portrayal of black boys in media. Because a thirty year old white man is a considered a child, but an 11 year old black boy is seen as a man. And if he is a man, the only thing he could want from this innocent white girl must be sexual in nature. Thus all the accusations of a 9-yr-old Severus stalking Lily somehow making sense.
And while I am not going as far as to equate the Death Eaters to Black Panthers, I do remember that the latter were often vilified as violent thugs and armed gang members, when what they actually wanted was to create a unified, defensible front, to be able to provide a safe, nurturing environment for their weakest members. Circling the wagons, if you want. If the Death Eaters weren't comprised of bigoted purebloods with more ambition and money than ability, but of muggleborns and muggle-raised halfbloods who would seek to increase their bargaining power in the Wizengamot and with potential employers, how quickly would they be labeled terrorists, intent on destroying the traditional pureblood ways? They wouldn't even have to kill a single pureblood.
What if they vowed to never accept less payment for services than what is fair, to never accept abysmal working conditions (except maybe to gain the mastery and then adios, motherfucker) and contracts with immoral stipulations; to invest in each others entrepreneural ideas instead of finding investors from pure blood families; at best accepting loans from Gringotts, because if anyone understands unfair treatment, it is goblins? What if they wielded their combined buying power among their own businesses and charging purebloods horrendously; what if they only apprenticed the children of their own circle, especially if the halfblood master of the field was the exceptionally gifted one and thus much more sought after among purebloods? Their social and financial power would be significant enough for a potential Minister of Magic to invest into courting their voting bloc, and for the Guilds to consider representing their interests. They wouldn't have any power on the Wizengamot, not at the beginning, but not every pureblood family was aligned with blood purists, though it is a big question, whether they wouldn't ally themselves with their former enemies once they perceive the ‘unpure’ as a threat. But if they would at least gain one pureblood family as a dissenting voice in the Wizengamot, as an avatar to promote more egalitarian laws... and then reinforce their message by applying the financial pressure... it is not unreasonable that at least some changes will be made. If this sort of power is what Severus imagined to gain from joining the Death Eaters... I can't actually fault him for that.
But I went off on a tangent. The point is, that Snape is one of the few characters who genuinely regretted his actions, but was still perceived as a criminal and a convicted felon, who only escaped imprisonment because an old white privileged man still had something to gain from pressuring him into a life of service and danger. The way his character arc is handled is also reminiscent of the discussions of the school-to-prison pipeline and incarceration rates in the US. And when he died, he died an ignominous death that no one but Harry Potter even valued. No one else would ever see him as a hero. No one else named their child after him, not even Draco, in whose protection Snape was so invested. He stayed a footnote in history, his contributions to the war effort forgotten or attributed to the man that manipulated him; the man who was lauded a hero and managed to finagle a state funeral while Snape bled out on a dirty floor in an abandoned shack and no one knows where his body is, still vilified as a Dumbledore’s murderer and Voldemort’s bootlicker.
What I am saying, is seeing Severus Snape as conceptually a black man changes a lot in how i perceive his character, despite not changing even one word of canon.

my username was ghost_chaser66, i had a yellow aisha, red gelert, blue zafara, and my fav of all of them was my green shoyru...he reminded me of darby the dragon : ) also i had a ‘ghost hunting guild’ LOL. on the boards i had glowing purple text and my icon was jhudora...quite an aesthetic combo, i think i even set up the text to be like a gradient between black green and purple u know...just to REALLY set the proverbial plate there.... tbh i never got like heavy skilled at it as a kid, like mostly i rly used it for was the games and boards ...baby’s first social media if u will. the idea of talking to other ppl was rly novel to me. remember the rp threads where they’d just be the most normal things like ROAD TRIP RP !!! comment to join ! and you had to be like........ **gets in car** *smashes mcr cd in** where we headed lol. or family rps ‘yes can i be the mom. my mom name is gonna be beverly **sighs, gets in drive thru line for chicken nuggets** ’
or egg hatching rps and u just walked in like ‘yes ill take the one with the leaf on it that’s green’ and then op would reply back later like ommmmggg congratulations your LEAF EGG hatched into PLANT BEAST ! ^_^ her wings are made of sticks and twigs! and u were psyched about that !

did you draw much as a kid?
i actually didn’t! i think i wrote more than i drew tbh...or maybe it was half and half. and then when school started all my focus shifted to getting straight A’s and being the best in everything \o/ if i could go back in time i would tell younger me to stop trying to please dad all the time, you will end up the black sheep of the family anyway the minute you stop, do what you want. i did more than my fair share of old legend of zelda fanart though....i was OBSESSED with Malon and Cremia and Romani from OOT/MM, i built websites dedicated to them in the 90′s early 2000′s. i had an entire alternate universe written up and drawn about the women of the series - my second favorite being Nabooru, and then Impa, and the Twinrova witches. oh gosh and actually even earlier than that, i was in ‘The Aisha Pack’ guild on Neopets (the very FIRST guild on neopets supposedly) which was a huge part of my life during the early 90′s. it was essentially a clubhouse full of crazy cat ladies in training, but there were inside jokes galore with the jabba wabba board, and we would write adventures about our ‘pets’ and draw them in silly costumes like pirates or witches or ghosts. omg i could probably still recite the old Aisha Pack song if i tried. something about the old Lenny bird. i can still remember the names of the older girls i idolized in TAP - sithel, quest, indigokitten, rainribbon. they were SO COOL and i was always too shy to be part of the inside group. they say the internet is forever but i am almost 100% sure that particular section of history has faded completely.

Two in one I’m on a roll! Anyhow, I thought I’d jump into Emeline’s side of the family before moving back to Aisha and Isran – I want to tie the two together but I really need to introduce these two and elaborate on their relationship with one another and Rosie before I do that! They haven’t gotten enough attention when they’re both incredibly important members of Rosie’s family – after all, this is where our Rosie got her name!
A warning for death and violence however! If you’re sensitive to those themes please keep them in mind before reading!
More Info underneath!
To avoid confusion, I’ll be referring to our Rosie as just Rosie and her grandmother as Rosalie!
Continuing from that, I’d like to introduce a new face: Rosalie Julienus-Asarmeson (The first of her namesake – though she took the title of Rosalie Sr. with Rosie’s birth). To be blunt, Rosalie has had a rough and difficult upbringing that led to the short-tempered, and brash woman that Tulius would eventually meet. She grew up an orphan in Bruma, abandoned at a young age and left to fend for herself in the cold mountains. Occasionally a pitying member of the Fighter’s Guild or the Great Chapel would offer her help only for Rosalie to promptly stick out her tongue and declare she didn’t need any help. She was considered a bit of a nuisance and continually sought after by guards who she’d smugly give the slip.
However, years of further and further alienation built Rosalie into a distant, frustrated soul. Her few good deeds would go unnoticed upon a mounting pile of small ones and the citizens of Bruma never quite understood how to connect with a child whose very first memories of the city were coated in loss. Attempts were made on both ends but never at the same time, or at the very least, not enough to make Bruma her home. At fifteen, she left and made her way to the Imperial City, desperate to find a sense of worth. Rosalie found the closest semblance in the Arena.
It was when Rosalie won the title of Champion that she was recruited by the Imperial Army, years later. She’s noted for her incredibly strength and resilience – even fighting bare handed and by whatever means in order to win. Her potential is finally recognized and though Rosalie would never admit it, it’s the possibility of finding that support system she’d always lacked that convinced her.
However, she almost immediately comes to regret this when she’s put under the command of Tulius, a newly promoted captain given the task of keeping Rosalie out a trouble for a minute training Rosalie. The two are almost always at each other’s throats, bickering, arguing, and fighting until it almost reaches a breaking point. Almost. Things thankfully, begin to change when Tulius (definitely not after being given a stern talking to from his command) stops trying to make Rosalie do things his way, and instead attempts to appeal to her. He observes her habits, mannerisms, and actions and attempts to implement that into her training. Rosalie of course, notices this and moves to the offensive – changing her movements and throwing him off at every turn. It’s confusing and frustrating and ultimately culminates into the very thing they should’ve done from the beginning: talk.
It begins as a furious argument – Rosalie upset over Tulius constantly trying to get in her head and Tulius then enraged that he wouldn’t have to do any of this if Rosalie tried to work with him! Rosalie then admits that she doesn’t know how to work with others, she’s always been on her own, why would she immediately bend over backwards to appeal to some stuck-up captain? This opens up a dialogue, and the two have a deep and meaningful conversation that points them in the direction of friends. Both take steps to be more thoughtful and patient with the other and soon enough, Rosalie becomes Tulius’s closest friends and advisor. Through years of surviving and fighting on her own Rosalie had become an excellent strategist, and Tulius had roused the strength and loyalty in his soldiers to carry out these plans. They became an inseparable duo and along the years, those feelings of friendship became more.
As a couple, one could often find the two sneaking off plenty of times to spend time with each other – people figured out soon enough, they didn’t have to say there was an ‘impromptu meeting’ but the lovestruck doofuses did anyways. Their relationship was always full of understanding and kindness, and even when the famed and feared General Tulis was at his most vexed, he could always be calmed down by equally feared Legate Rosalie just holding his hand. Rosalie and Tulius had a single daughter, Emeline, who they adored with all their hearts and souls. It wasn’t rare to see a baby Emeline in a sling on Tulius’s back as he tried to have a meeting or Rosalie doting on her toddler in the middle of a training. Rosalie wanted to be there for her child in all the ways her parents never had been. She truly loved her daughter and eventually Rosalie more than words could ever describe. Tulius too, was a notorious sap, who could be in an absolute rage only to melt at the sight of either his daughter or his granddaughter. (His famed ‘sweet voice’ was a well-known joke among the soldiers)
Rosalie was one of the most highly valued and respected members of the Imperial army, commended by Emperor TItus Mede II and even offered a place among the Blades. She could’ve easily been alongside Tulius as General had she not had that fateful meeting with her own former soldier, Ulfric, who initially idolized Rosalie. She was this intelligent, and masterful Nord leader among the Imperial forces and in his eyes, exemplified everything he himself wanted to be. Rosalie herself, kept him at a distance. He was a gifted young man who’d trained among the Greybeards but he always teetered along an edge. He struggled connecting with others from his training among the Greybeards and blindly loyal to the traditional, fracticous ways of Skyrim that Rosalie never understood.
She did her best to steer Ulfric towards growth and act as the supportive figure she never had in her youth when Ulfric was kidnapped in the midst of the Great War. This would eventually culminate in the dangerous, hateful figure seen in the Civil War who eventually kills Rosalie when the two meet again, with Imperial Legions investigating early Stormcloak sightings. (Not shortly after Civil War is declared but many hadn’t considered it with the scale and ferocity seen with Rosie’s time. Many thought it’d be a lengthy but ultimately useless endeavor. I’d say 188? Making Rosie 13) Rosalie’s death is considered a catalyst for the size and intensity the Civil War is seen with in Rosie’s day. Rosalie’s death was considered a tragedy all throughout Cyrodil, and Tulius himself was despondent and guilt-ridden for not being with her for months afterwards. Inadvertently, Tulius distanced himself from much of his family, even Emeline, and Rosie’s visits to Cyrodil lessened more and more. Their relationship is only rekindled when the two reunite again in Helgen and Tulius is fueled by revenge and frustration. Rosie joins her grandfather to seek vengeance against the man who destroyed not just their lives and families but those of so many others.
———————————————————————————————————–
My apologies, I know that’s quite a bit! But Rosalie’s character is so extremely important to the motivations of Rosie that I couldn’t ignore her! Tulius too is also someone who’s relationship with Rosie has a lot of depth and change throughout her story that I really, really wanted to at least touch on it! That being said, here’s a few more lighthearted facts!
Extra!
- Rosalie almost sobbed for hours when Emeline told her that she was naming her daughter after her biggest hero, her mother. Rosalie spent all her years as Rosie’s grandmother striving to be the best example possible and even was the one to introduce Rosie to the two-handed weaponry she adores so much.
- Tulius calls his granddaughter, ‘Rosebud’ and spoiled her to no end. He and Ehsan would write letters exchanging gift ideas when birthdays or holidays came around.
- Emeline as a child used to steal her father’s cloak so he wouldn’t leave her for his ‘boring meetings.’ She was glued to her father’s hip all throughout her childhood and was without a doubt her father’s daughter.
- Rosie and Rosalie will eventually meet again in Sovngarde when Rosie goes to vanquish Alduin. It’s a heartfelt and teary reunion and Rosalie leaves many messages for Rosie to send back for the family she misses so dearly. It brings back a bit of light that Tulius had long thought was gone when Rosie relays the message to ‘wait just a bit longer’ for them to reunite.
- As a child, Rosalie’s only source of comfort and idolization came from the Hero of Kvatch. She adored hearing stories of his rise to heroics and courage that never faltered even during the most difficult of times. (He was a little bit more of a shy doofus but most people don’t entirely remember that) It was his stories that made the harsh, cold nights a little easier to weather.
Anyhow, I hope you all enjoyed this important look into Rosie’s family and even more so hope that you have a marvelous day! If you have an questions feel free to send them my way!

ok i’m back with an updated wishlist (that’s a little better formatting i think?? who knows). so if ur interested in anything below, send me a mesage or like the post and i’ll reach out to you!
anyway i’m joey, a 24 y o enby (they/she), looking for some f/f, m/m or any/nb plots preferably. i prefer writing on either tumblr or discord, and plotting on discord bc tumblr ims are,,, messy. can’t link bc tumblr butchered the tags but the rest of my rp info can be found on my blog.
plots.
werewolves - i have this idea where one muse is a werewolf who lives with their mum or dad in a cabin in the woods and second muse is a newly turned wolf who has no idea what’s going on so A has to adopt them and help them through their first shifts and introduce them to the world of wolves and what not. bonus points if its nordic/scandinavian with big norse mythology vibes
period vampires! i don’t have much to say for this one bc there’s lots of directions we could go, i would rly love to play a jodie comer fc for this perhaps..., kind of like interview with a vampire/anne rice style vampires maybe?
i love anything to do with fae lore, esp the rly traditional stuff. also love anything from holly blacks’ fae verses. changeling plots are particuarly *chef’s kiss*. i also have a fae bard (indya moore fc) that i app’d a group with and then said group died before it started so let me live the dream.
i have a faulty android muse that i’d love to plot with in a setting based off cypberpunk 2077 (or the original 2020 ttrpg). based on this super old comic from tumblr where the android escapes half-broken from the corp that made them and breaks into a techies’ shop to fix themselves up
fantasy mumus in settings like the elder scrolls or dragon age or a generic ass fantasy settings where we could just make a bunch of ocs and stick ‘em together in a guild like in ur standard dungeons and dragons set up. i have a lot of dnd ocs. and a lot of them will never be used in games so??
something rly cutesy and farmcore with like stardew valley/animal crossing/harvest moon vibes plot where its all whimsical and rural and fervently anti-capitalist but has maybe some soft fantasy vibes (look i just rewatched the animal crossing film and im,, in love once again, bonus for older muses looking for a city escape). i also saw this post that mentioned a witch running a cat shelter like that it;s thats the ship. cat shelter witch x former corporate wage slave turned farm girl. i’m a genious.
okay so my thing with fandoms like hp is that all the rps out there are canon or semi-canon and i just want all ocs, burn everything jkr loves and remake hp into something less racist and transphobic.
girl’s. boarding. schools. enough said. could either have a dark academia vibe with a murder mystery OR ghosts/cults/general spooky stuff (or both??).
have any of y’alll read angelology? nun and a cute academic team up to stop nephilim from destroying the world with gabriel’s lyre and then it turns out nun is a nephilim and academic is like actually, nope and suddenly they’re enemies? Love that
fandoms.
so i’ll rp anything in these verses. preferably oc but there are some canons i rly want to do as well.
the elder scrolls, fallout, dragon age, the witcher, borderlands, stardew valley, dishonored, life is strange, cyberpunk 2020, animal crossing, pokemon, adventure time, she-ra and the princesses of power, the raven cycle, any holly black book, percy jackson, the magnus archives, welcome to the nightvale
particularly looking for a bubbleline or catradora plot right now!!
faceclaims.
i usually pick the fc to match the muse rather than start with fcs, but these are the ones i’m particularly interested in using! they’re not extensive lists and i’m generally open to anyone that isn’t too problematic
female - hunter schafer, zendaya coleman, barbie feirrera, natasha liu bordizzo, moon gayoung, krystal jung, neve campbell, rachel weisz, tati gabrielle, kiernan shipka, alisha wainwright, lalisa manoban, kimiko glenn, sophie skelton, naomi scott, anya chalotra, maya hawke, emmy rossum, shay mitchell, ryan destiny, lyrica okao, tessa thompson, jodie comer, arden cho, bruna marquezine, maisie williams, danielle mcdonald, aisha dee, natalie dyer, doona bae, malese jow, sofia byrant, alisha boe, medalian rahimi, hayley kiyoko, jessica parker kennedy, vanessa morgan, lana condor, summer bishil, zoe love smith, erinn westbrook, candice patton, danielle pineda, madelyn cline, madison bailey, brianne tju, park chae wo
male - rome flynn, reece king, gabriel darku, nick robinson, gavin leatherwood, aubrey joseph, keiynan lonsdale, seo kang joon, aron piper, ryan potter, michael cimino, rudy pankow, jonathon daviss, jordan fisher, avan jogia, taron egerton,
non-binary - indya moore, liv hewson, theo germaine, chella man
(look im a lesbian who only fouses on pretty girls don’t @ me)

Favorite Characters: Z, A, B, Y, D, L
Favorite Characters A-Z
Z: Zevran Arainai from Dragon Age. Clearly, I am weak for the DA rogues. It took me a while to stumble into this ship. I kind of always kind of steered away from his character for particular reasons that stemmed around a conversation about representation. But his story is touching and heartbreaking and after he popped up in DA2 I went back and finally got around to checking out his romance. Though his friendship with the Warden was never in question.
A: Aisha from Saints Row and Saints Row 2. I went back and forth with this character for a lot of years. She made some extreme choices but I get it. Losing her broke my little heart.
B: Brynjolf from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Love at first Lass. I will not deny it. I totally lost it when he called my character that the first time. I thought I was hearing things. I hated that he wasn’t a more active and included member of the guild. I greatly lament the fact that he could only be taken out to prove how horrible a rogue he really was a few times.
Y: Yoshi from Super Mario World. [Thank you for making this one virtually traumatizing. After not being able to even think of one I did a random search for characters starting with Y, and was disappointed that I forgot my favorite dinosaur.] Yes, this one is a stretch. But it was this or Yashia, a soft-hearted soldier on Korriban worried about her friend.
D: David Anderson from Mass Effect. What can I say, I adore the mentor relationship that is threaded into
L: Lucien Lachance from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. He scared the bejeezus out of me the first time I woke up and say this black-cloaked fella just being creepy. I did enjoy him in Oblivion, though his death saddened me. I was really pleased to see his return in Skyrim.

Alright, I prep myself to make the post for a second for one of Eve's paths as we all know I adore Code Ultimate's path, I love-hate the Code: Sariel path now before you all grab your Adds, or whatever. Wait do the smaller part of the Adds in the Els community bugging Eve to this day? I don't hang out in most places in the game. Also this is my opinion
I still liked the path don't get me wrong but before, I was in a guild and this was when I had 2 Eve's one is a Code Nemesis and the other was the Code Battle Seraph as i was playing her path. Hooo boy " This class is easy" a guild member said, I mean it felt easy but realizing you had to spam like El Crystal Spectrum when it goes out but because I wasn't a Code Nemesis where whenever I got the chance to update my buff, it was waiting for the buff to end ( they made it now to switch from that to Electric Heart not at will that much but COOLDOWNS), but this was also the time where I barely did pvp this Aisha having Slow movement to where I socket my spar gear with Attack speed and Movement Jump speed, so I outspeed her and she got all rude because I had a little experience of the pvp setting plus freeze attribute. Yeah I asked a friend in guild for idea and they told me that, really, I should've experimented a bit but hey my skills were doing more of my damage when ready, but yeah a base level 12 Aisha just really wanted to beat a level 23 Code Electra, I was nice to tell her she can teleport when she gets up, and she didn't realize she had mp to fight back and evade me like all the other Aisha's but thats not what this is about, I'll make a post of the best kinds of people in pvp I met especially that Grand Master who wouldn't let me attack at all with a Crimson Avenger, I cann tell you all about it in the future.
but after CBS, oh my loooord I wanted to give up, but because it was still one of Eve's paths. So I gave up, so rest the class for years, until I asked here for some pro and cons. I played casually with my friend so we were even level of bossing and clearing, really spammed support with Critical Aura, El Crystal Spectrum Blue, Electric heart combined with Energy Needles while chugging MP potions. So really I loved just clearing waves after waves after waves until a good length of a straight line is Psychic Artillery. It is fun clearing thats only how I solved the situations in dungeons.
But now the part of hating the path is, aside from lagging especially in Sanders Secret dungeon that place is naturally laggy to my game, and friends currently as a host and on their own knows it is laggy for them to but side track already, CBS skill Thousand Star although I love the naming for it, you have to make contact for Mass Release to even use the skill but most CBS and CS have it up and not use mass release at all but it hits regardless when you attack, except its Mod counterpart where it will hit anyways as Mass Release. But the fact that, like I don't mind if people say its the best Eve class(because it can clear) but really, chugging MP and it will screw you over once or twice from my own solo experience as a Code Sariel like literally I knew but I wasn't expecting to pay for all of my Mana Potions more than my Potions, and then dying by mistake thats always fun, but in a light hearted note she was my first Eve to be third class before my Code: Empress and Code: Nemesis. Did I mention that my Code Sariel managed to survive Solace while my friends Lunatic Psyker kept getting whooped, that was fun to watch mostly until i spent my ressurection stones on him.
#Elsword#Elsword Eve#Another Code#code: electra#code: battle seraph#code: sariel#C:El#C:BS#C:S#CEL#CBS#CS#Devinrockx#Devinrockx moments#elsword liked disliked love-hate#Eve

Mabinogi Drama: Graterilsi vs Ruricy vs Milktea7 vs Prudentia - Extended version
2020 UPDATE:
I have been informed that one person involved in this drama has been arrested and incarcerated. Faith has been using his guild, Prudentia, to target young girls for sexual abuse. Obviously I condemn this piece of shit and I regret not calling him a lying gaslighting piece of shit when I had the chance.
The current officer of Prudentia has accused me of calling all his victims “tainted”, which is complete nonsense. All I had said was that I refuse to recommend any other guild from now on (except the one led by EC’s former leader) because I don’t know which ones will turn out to be secretly run by pedos like Prudentia. He claims this is proof that I deem all the girls to be “tainted” and that “it’s not fair because they’re trying so hard” to reclaim the guild name and remove the associations with Faith.
I will say that I do believe that the name Prudentia and guild entity itself is tainted with Faith’s pedo-shitbaggery. He made and used that guild to abuse minors. He was so proud of that guild and always signed his posts as their leader, even during times when he wasn’t actually the in-game leader. I can’t imagine why the current management is trying so hard to maintain a guild that has become his pedo legacy. None of that means that I blame his victims in any way. They did a fantastic job of bringing him to justice and I applaud that.
This officer has a history of misinterpreting everything I say in the most negative way possible and while I try to be lenient towards ESL* speakers, I’m quite convinced that it’s intentional malice at this point. There will be no more diplomacy with Prudentia, new management or not.
*he’s Serbian and it’s not like his English is poor enough to actually be used as an excuse anyway
The original drama write up is preserved below.
================
Hey Alexina server!
If you know me, you probably know me as Eralea. A small subset of you, however, may know me as Naryador - longtime active member and current leader of Elvencrusade.
The drama mentioned in the title of this post occurred partially in my guild discord server, and is how I ended up taking up the leadership position (cleaning up all their fallout - thanks, ladies!)
You may have seen this FB post from Graterilsi/Aisha/Donna/Daphne/whatever name she’s going by now (she changes it as often as she changes her fashionogi). You may also have seen this response from Ruricy/Daisy/Yuno. For the most part, their stories mostly focus on the followup weeks and only vaguely allude to the explosive drama directly preceding the part where Ruricy gets Aisha locked up.
I’m here to tell that prequel story. This dates back to late last year, blowing up on the 11th of Dec 2018.
Elvencrusade and Prudentia had been guild allies for most of the year at that point - the officers from Prudentia were taking a more active role in the alliance by joining the Elvencrusade guild server. What none of them knew was that there was an undercurrent of hostility among the Elvencrusade members the entire time they were there, centered around one individual called Milktea7.
MILKTEA7 VS PRUDENTIA
Milktea7 was not in Elvencrusade. He was friends with many of the guild members, so he was allowed in the server as a guild ally. He also had previous drama with one of the officers of Prudentia, which led him to have a bad reputation with many of their members. His friends sided with him, obviously, and they were out to get the Prudentians.
Every day, every single day, Elvencrusade management would hear Aisha demanding in voice chat to “kick out the Prudentia spies”, “block them from all the channels”, “ban all the naive bitches”. Ruricy would report back from outings with Aisha, saying that she’d spent the day complaining about them and gossiping about their past dramas.
This happened throughout the entire two months we had the Prudentian officers as guests in our server. We attempted to explain that we were allies with them, we tried to compromise by limiting them to only the public channels - nada. None of it was satisfactory enough for the Aisha and Milktea7 faction.
(It should be noted that the Prudentia members are not entirely innocent in all this - they would also nag us to break ties with Milktea7, telling us to just kick him out of the server, asking us why were we associating with such a toxic person. They’d send us complaints about him, as if he was part of our guild. PSA: Milktea7 was never part of Elvencrusade, please send your complaints to his actual guild and actual guild leader, thanks.)
Kicking Milktea7 out at this point would have greatly destabilised the guild, given that many core members at the time were openly siding with Milktea7 and believed that the Prudentia girls were intentionally provoking him to get a reaction out of him. On the other hand, select members of management (actually mostly Ruricy) was friendly with Prudentia and didn’t want to upset them either.
In hindsight, trying to please all these ticking time bombs was a mistake, because they were going to explode eventually.
RURICY AND AISHA LIGHT THE FUSE
On that fateful day, we received a request from Prudentia: They wanted us to allow their other officer into our guild server - the one who previously had drama with Milktea7. Elvencrusade guild management agreed that this was a definitely a no-go and that we would quietly and politely decline their request, given past history and current tensions.
For some reason, Ruricy didn’t pick up on the part about declining their request, and immediately goes to Aisha, saying “GOOD NEWS! [drama officer] is joining EC!!”
This provokes Aisha to go into the VC to repeat to everyone that [drama officer] was joining the guild (she wasn’t), starting a massive wave of FUD among the members. Aisha was threatening to leave the guild and start her own guild and server “without any bitches and spies in it”. Some people were freaking out and saying they didn’t know what Elvencrusade management were up to, forcing them to get along with these “spies”. Other people started telling stories about [drama officer]’s past scandals.
Amidst all this chaos, a different officer of Prudentia chooses this unfortunate moment to enter the VC. Milktea7 immediately flames her and accuses her of snooping, and everyone leaves the channel. Aisha requests that I set up a VC that was limited only to guild members, because those horrible untrustworthy spies were intruding on private discussions.
Meanwhile, Faith, the leader of Prudentia, was DMing me to complain about his officer-girlfriend being abused in the Elvencrusade VC, as well as to get to the bottom of the whole drama. While I was trying to explain the situation to him, I suddenly hear Aisha saying in the new guild-only VC that “Nary is talking to Prudentia, she’s taking their side!”.
See, Faith had assured me that the discussion about the drama would be limited to only the members of management within both guilds. Aisha was not a member of Elvencrusade management, for very good reason - she’s a drama-monger. She’s quick to throw fits and spread stories of questionable veracity. And given that she was the one person who was demanding the ousting of Prudentia the most, she was the absolute last person who should be hearing about it. Faith explained to me that she was their friend IRL and that she was in that VC, so of course they were talking to her about it.
This is the point where I realised Aisha had been two-faced towards the Prudentians the entire time - pretending to be their friend IRL and in DMs, while turning around and screeching in the VC every day to demand they be kicked out of the server. I also suddenly understood why she had been referring to them as “naive bitches” all this while.
I opted not to alert Faith and the rest of Prudentia about this. He believed that Aisha was his friend, and he was likely to take her word over mine, anyway. Honestly, it’s not my problem, and I don’t really care if she wants to play them all like fools. My problem was that she (and Milktea7) was bringing their drama into my guild and causing a rift between the members.
(Side story: This wasn’t even the first time Aisha brought Prudentia-related drama into the Elvencrusade server. We had previously been unwilling witnesses to a Prudentia vs Movimentum argument that she was fanning the flames of. Like, seriously, can you guys not use us as a battleground? FFS)
THE FALLOUT
When I woke up the next morning, I was informed that Ruricy had a psychotic freakout, tried to force Aisha to pick between herself and Milktea7, and then finally called the cops on Aisha.
That story is told elsewhere and I’m sure everyone has already enjoyed most of it anyway.
I would like to point out that no one in Elvencrusade has been “tortured” by Milktea7 - that’s all in her head. The reason she accused us of not acknowledging her pain is because no one else would agree with her about him “torturing” people. (As far as I can tell, he “tortured” her by telling her that her boyfriend is manipulating her and by being rude to said boyfriend.)
He is an entertaining jackass, however, I’ll give you that.
I’m sure Ruricy will type out another outrageously long response to this post, so I’m going to say this now - I can’t be bothered arguing with whatever insane bullshit you come up with this time.
No, seriously. You drag people into a whirlpool of nonsense and then conclude something completely different from what people are saying. You were the sweetest person ever 99% of the time you were in Elvencrusade, and then all this happened and you revealed your hidden psycho bitch to us. It’s really telling when, despite all the awful backstabbing shit Aisha has done, everyone in the guild still sides with her over you. All these other people who don’t know the real you might fall for your manipulation, but I’m not making that mistake any more.
I also know exactly what Aisha is going to say in response to this too - she’s going to say that Nary broke her trust again. No, babe, you broke my trust when you created a huge pile of lies and bullshit for me to clean up. I know you’ve been telling a highly dramatised one-sided version of this story in Viper’s circle. Did you tell them your role as the poisonous snake? I doubt it. Make no mistake - I was fucking worried sick when you were locked up and I side with you when it comes to how Ruri treated you, but you need to stop causing me so much damn trouble.
Milktea7 has since left the guild discord server and threw a fit when I refused to let him back in. He doesn’t seem to understand that this is his own mistake - his drama caused the guild to split, and most of his friends had left to form their own guild. There is very little support for him within the remaining and new members. I know you’re reading this, Milk - it’s entirely your own fault if the majority wants to keep you out.
Last but not least, Ruricy had the conceit to believe that Elvencrusade would disband after she left. (HAHAHAHAHAHAH) She was also wrong about that - we’re still here and still active.
If you’re looking for friends and would like to join in on mafia, food debates and karaoke night, pop an application at the guild stone at the Filia Moon Gate. We run nightly Girg raids at 8pm Sydney time and the occasional black dragon spam. Guild rules: No drama-mongers and no using general chat as a battlefield. I’ll cut you 💚

for the duo bingo, how abt emet and rhodri :3?
Coffee comes through with the good shit.
Well if it isn't my guilty pleasure gremlin ship. (Honestly why aren't soulmates on this dingdang bingo).
I'm a big fan of ships that say buck gendernorms and boy does this one fit the bill.
You also got juicy annoyance->friends->lovers which is always fun.
Buuuuuut this ship got slept on because, well, it's straight passing and Rhod wasn't as popular as other characters. OTL
When you're in a small fandom, anytime your ship isn't THE ship, you're in rare pair hell. I made comics and fics with these two, but the most Aisha put out was some margin doodles (I ate that shit up).
Back in the day, I wanted them to be an adventuring/battle couple, but lately I've been shifting toward Rhodri taking over the Tailor's Guild so Emet can go treasure hunting.
Ugh, they're just so cute, and supportive of each other: canonically. I just want them to be happy.
