Repo the Geneitc Opera and Degrees of Lewdity crossover
-shitty city
-smells like medical malpractice
-sheltered teen unaware of the shadier stuff their single parent does
-sex and violence and lots of debt
But the real reason behind the crossover is PC should get to loudly yell, “GRAVES”. That’s the big rotatable idea.
Hi anon... I saw you send this on Haunting's blog before hehe
Anyway... yes!! That would be so fun! I think a crossover between the two would work best as an alternate DoL universe + not sticking too close to the original story (since there are so many more DoL characters than Repo ones...) I'm kinda picturing Degrees of Brutality if it were more fleshed-out... keeping some of the key events of Repo as special events in the game but expanding it wayyy further if that makes sense?
Also, even if not sticking to Repo's story a ton, I'd still love Sydney being in Shilo's place! Partially because I'd love Sirris being even shadier than they are in-game (which. people tend to ignore their in-game shadiness but that's another conversation LOL) and partially because of the whole dead parent thing for both characters...
IDK right now how I'd shoehorn Kylar in, but I could find a way. And [DoB but also DoL] Harper fits PERFECTLY in Repo to me so . :) twirls them around in my head...
PC being the Graverobber would be so fun too,, just a silly guy making money however they can... ((stares at my OC Dima who . does rob graves and such... hehe.))
Not super coherent thoughts from me here overall bc it's late but I love the idea a lot!! Gives me drawing ideas... Thank you for re-sending the ask here X)
#harper and repo have a strong connection to me cuz the 1st song on pip's harper playlist is zydrate anatomy... LOL#degrees of lewdity#dol#endo.misc();#1am-yan

Im here today to talk to you about one of my special interests;
Señor Danny Trejó
This man has lived such a life at age 79; and is still kicking, but I think people don’t really appreciate all this man has been through to be who he is. I genuinely believe his biopic needs to be made bc oh my goodness.
CW: drug usage, incarceration experiences, tough home life, murder, stabbing, death penalty, violence (feel free to lmk more and I’ll add as pointed out)
Also to note; this is a historical summary. Aka the facts with as little of my opinion as I can manage (while considering that I do have a bias), I do not condone the violent acts mentioned. That being said I do sympathize with many actions being a product of circumstance and that this is a man trying to own his past while using his present to make a better future for himself and others. And THAT is why I respect the hell out of him
Ok let’s start this; spoiler alert I look like
By the end
Ok so Im gonna have to categorize this baby; a note, most of this is from his Wikipedia page and subsequent cited sources
Personal
-was born in (1944) as the child of an extramarital affair; his mothers husband was away fighting in WW2 at the time
-He’s been a fan of the LA Rams since their early days (1946) and some of his earliest memories are from sneaking into games as a child
-he fled LA with his family to Texas as a small child bc his father was wanted for stabbing someone. His father turned himself in a year after moving back to LA
-he purchased his childhood home and as of his 2020 biopic, still intermittently lives in it.
-he completed his high school diploma during his stay at Soledad correctional facility (likely during his time in solitary)
-among his many jobs between prison and film; Trejo helped construct the Cinerama Dome in California (now where many of his films have been screened at today) with a construction company as a labourer, a gardener and part time owner of a lawn company
-Trejo has been quoted to still have fears that his life is all just been a dream and that ‘hell wake up in prison with someone urging him to “go get some chow”
-Trejo has been a contributor to several books relating to prison life
-trejo published a cookbook in 2020 and his memoir in 2021
-As of 2020 Trejo owns 8 restaurants; including a taco restaurant, a cantina and a coffee and donut shop. His rainbow cauliflower tacos made the LA times fav recipes of 2017
-He has been married and divorced 4x with 3 children (however he helped raise 2 additional children with his second wife)
-Trejo is a registered Democrat
-battled liver cancer in 2010, moved to be closer to his mom in 2011. She passed while filming the Muppets most wanted in 2013. Although sad, Trejo recalls he didn’t truly break down until Kermit offered his apologies in character (due to his macho personality)
-In 2019 Trejo witnessed a car accident and helped rescue a small ychild from that very wreckage (trapped in the car seat in an overturned SUV)
Prison
-was first arrested at age 10, first incarcerated at age 12 at Eastlake Juvenile Hall
-was in various prisons within the California prison system from 1956-1969 (conflicting accounts say one term may have been till ‘72)
-notable stints include; three years at Camp Glen Rockey in San Dimas for stabbing a sailor in the face with broken glass, a stint in Los Angeles County in 1961 where he met Charles Manson (who Trejo describes as a “dirty, greasy, scrawny white boy” who was an allegedly talented hypnotist), Soledad in 1968 where he hit a guard with a rock during a prison riot on Cinco de Mayo. Due to this he was sent to solitary confinement and faced capital charges and the death penalty. He also completed the 12 step program at this time.
-His most memorable stint was in San Quentin in 1966; his heron use was exacerbated here. Here he was a debt collector and drug dealer; often engaging and witnessing acts of violence and occasional murder. He also picked up boxing in this stint and became both a champion of the lightweight and welterweight divisions throughout his other prison experiences.
-his final prison stint was five years of a ten year sentence, most commonly believed to have ended in 1969 (aged 25)
-he was known as the gossip queen of his cell block in several prisons
Drug Usage and Recovery
- Trejo had been using Marijuana since age 8, heron by age 12, and cocaine by age 13; all introduced by his uncle Gilbert
-Trejo overdosed on first heron fix (also under his uncle’s supervision)
- participated in his first drug deal at age 7
-completed the 12 step program during his time in solitary at Soledad. He has been quoted being sober since completing this program, and is celebrating 54 years in recovery
- Trejo became a substance abuse counsellor in 1973, and is still actively working to help substance abuse cases today
-in the 1980s Trejo worked in Western Pacific Med Corp, assisting with the establishment and operation of sober living houses. He also lived in the houses at this time
-He was called to help assist with the cocaine usage amongst teenagers on the set of Runaway Train (1985)
-Trejos work as an actor was meant to help further his work as a rehabilitation counsellor and he claimed it helped him as clients would recognize him as an actor
-While filming scenes at San Quentin for Blood In, Blood Out; trejo helped a prisoner (Mario Castillo) through the 12 step program and remained in touch after his release. Today him and Mario remain great friends and both speak around the country in both juvenile detention centres as well as rehabilitation centres about their experiences
Film
-his character Machete was created FOR the Spy Kids film
-the creator of the Spy Kids franchise is his second cousin
-Danny originally got into acting after meeting a boy in a sober living house who explained he worked a day job as an extra to make 50$ a day (in 1980); between the “easy money”, availability with his schedule and publicity he could provide to the Western Living House Org, Danny decided to find an agent for background rolls
-After being asked to help with cocaine issues on the set of Runaway Train, Trejo was recognized by the screenplay writer, Edward Bunker. Bunker has been a fellow inmate with Trejo in San Quentin and was also a fan of his boxing work. Bunker helped hire Trejo as a boxing trainer on the film and negotiated Trejos pay to be closer to ~$330 a day, due to his additional help on set and general knowledge/experience
-Bunker also helped land Trejo a role as a background actor in the prison scenes in Runaway
-Penitentiary 3 (1987) was his first billed role, during which he met one of the members of the Galbino crime family (one of the 5 mafia families in New York)
-in 1991 Trejo turned down a role offered by Edward James Olmos due to a call from the don of the Mexican Mafia advising him to take a role in Blood In, Blood Out (1993) instead
-During the filming of Blood In, Blood Out; Trejo experienced PTSD while filming his scenes in San Quentin. Especially when filming the scenes in C550, his previous cell from his time incarnated there
-Whike filming Anaconda (1997), Trejo was able to negotiate a higher salary when filming in Venezuela. As Trejo enjoyed leaving the hotel to socialize in his off time…during a possible coup. A particular incident with a group of teenagers with AK-47s brandished at Trejo over his combat boots, helped Trejo negotiate the higher salary to REMAIN at the hotel in his down time
-Trejo contracted Hepatitis C shortly before filming Spy Kids and concluded treatment and recovery just before its premiere (however had gotten so I’ll that his cast noticed his weight loss and demeanour in a different project filmed during spy kids post production)
-Trejo produced his first film in 2014
-To date Trejo has 445 acting credits on IMDB (between 1985-2023) and 84 on screen deaths (12 TV, 72 movies) according to cinemorge (+4 are music video deaths, +1 video game death)
-in total that would make Trejos risk of onscreen death per project roughly 20% per project (89/445)
In Conclusion
#danny Trejo#in conclusion this is the celeb I would have dinner with#prison#anecdote#san quentin#biography#life summary#long post#but in all seriousness#where is the biopic Hollywood#cw drugs#cw#drugs#murder#violence#drug usage#death penalty#stabbing#feel free to let me know of any more and I’ll put them here

- alright, time to head back to Far Harbour and tie off all these sidequests.
- i levelled up in the bowling alley, so decided to take the Intimidation perk. it hasn't felt great rp-ways to be just senselessly murdering everyone who looks at me funny, so maybe this'll help me avoid that.
- this should come in handy.
- delivered the Mirelurk Carapaces to the Mariner.
- reported back to Small Bertha, she ran off to talk to Avery about moving some settlers into the Lumber Mill.
Bertha: If you give us some of those Acadian Fog Condensers, my friends are ready to homestead that lumber mill. Avery: Surviving is about more than taming Fog. We got to stay together, Bertha. Teddy: Bertha knows this Island better than you, Avery. We give folk some Condensers, materials, and a chance to build defenses, and we'll survive all right. Avery: Well, I won't stop you. But until we deal with the Children of A̷t̷o̵m̸- settling the Island again... It could blow up in your face.
- it sounds like Avery is kind of a play-it-safe middle-grounder just in general. was the late Avery 1.0 like this, adding another reason for DiMA to pick her for replacing, or is this the programming he gave his operative?
- checked in with Cassie Dalton.
Cassie: Wonderful! That's another chapter successfully concluded. You truly are the heroic avenger I hoped you were. That's right, the farm is yours. Your own little piece of the Island. It'll take work to get it up and running again, but you'll have help. Now, I don't have to tell you that the bonds of blood and family are strong, as strong as any a person can know. But if you ask me, the strongest among them is the bond that exists between two married people. That's why the last part of this tale is the hardest one for me to tell. My late husband Daniel was the best fisherman this Island ever saw. He and his crew had a favorite fishing spot out by Brooke's Head Lighthouse. Turns out some Trappers moved into the lighthouse, no doubt because the Island told them to. They're all crazier than a bag of Molerats. Their leader was having a little target practice. Shot Danny right between the eyes. Killed him just like that.
- (already did this one)
Cassie: Then it's done. It's finally done. All those lives that were lost... all those debts, finally repaid. And it was no son or daughter of Far Harbor who stood up to the Island and avenged the Dalton bloodline... it was you, an outsider. A Mainlander. The final chapter's been written. The story has come to an end. This is a day I never thought I'd live to see. Thank you. Cat: I found a holotape from the last guy you sent to the lighthouse. He thought your whole story was a lie. Is it? Cassie: A lie? No, no. It was true, or at least, there was truth in it. Was there a little harmless exaggeration as well? Perhaps. But some things are more important than the truth.
- WILL THIS GAME PLEASE STOP PREDICTING WHAT I’M ABOUT TO SAY THANK YOU!!!! ffs.
Cassie: Look at you, for instance. You've seen the Island's dangers and survived. You've learned something valuable. What's more, the Island learned something, too. It knows you're not some green-backed Mainlander who can't tell up from down in the Fog. The Island will respect you now, and that's more than I can say for most who step off the boat. Well, I'm a little old to leap up on a horse, but I have got something close to a treasure. This is an heirloom that's been in my family for... let me think... oh, for at least a generation or two. The Island knows this weapon. Oh yes. You carry this, and it'll take you seriously. Off you go, now. My story's over, but yours? I think yours is only just getting interesting.
- “at least a generation or two” pfft. i bet both the head and handle have been replaced a couple of times too. (didn't max out my inventory again, thankfully).

Dima was far too out of it to notice he'd been trailing behind someone on his way home from the bar; with blood trickling down their right temple and a bottle's worth of hard liquor swimming in his system like it was a koi pond, they could hardly walk without bumping into the occasional dumpster. He'd pissed someone off again, over something trivial like debt or an affair, maybe even a murder accusation—it was all starting to bleed together in his head, no pun intended. They didn't mind the taste of copper on his tongue or the way his bruises painted reminders of his very much real existence in this world, but he'd seen the honest fear and concern in their brother's eyes and so they'd promised themselves to drink less. But alas. Dima was never the reliable sibling of the two. Entering the sliver of light that flowed from the main street in a river stream, he eyed the rock in the stranger's hand with a strange smirk and clamped his teeth down on the butt of an unlit cigarette, staining it with a bloody fingerprint when they tried to light it up. “Sure,” was his answer, as monotonous as could be. They pulled out a pocket knife from their ragged jeans, flipping it over so that the blade would face him instead. “Just make it clean. That rock's not gonna do shit.”
Open Starter somewhere in the streets of Locke Row
Valentina was more than slightly annoyed coming out of the police station. She wasn't sure what part of her in their paperwork classified her as a snitch. Sure, she didn't really know who killed Daniela, but she certainly would like to know. What is the likelihood of her forming a friendship if she couldn't be trusted to not blab to the pigs? Val kicked a can through the street, turning onto an empty alley way that lead to her house. It was a good five minutes into her walk when she felt someone walking behind her but when she turned she'd seen no one. Choosing to ignore it she turned back, but after a minute or two she picked up the first rock she came across and called out. "Are you trying to fucking die?"

bad ideas : d.k
my first dima piece! gave it my best go - and I’m sorry for how long it’s taken to have complete. i’m realising I go from like full stories to drabble pieces, so bit of a mix currently but I hope you’re all enjoying them regardless. anyhow thank you to the anon who helped me with dimas name (still clueless but trying)
masterlist (i’ll organise it soon, probably when I am done writing yikes) also the gif probably will only work on mobile sorry. I made it in giphy (im trying)
“I really don’t think this will be as good of an idea that you guys think it might be.” I mumble as I nervously bite at my nails as Ilya and David go through the plan one last time before we drive down to the dealership.
Ilya glances back and shakes his head. “He’ll love it really, Y/n.” He says reassuringly, but I remain unconvinced. “Sure he might be annoyed initially, but even Dima knows how old that shitty car is.”
My mind wonders back to thinking about how beaten his car currently is and the number of dents he has caused it over the years. “You know this will mean the world to him, even if he seems ungrateful.” David pipes in as we turn the corner, entering the dealership as all of the cars are on display.
“No going back from here.” I mutter as David parks and we enter the dealership, hoping to leave with a nice enough car that will make up for destroying Dima’s current one.
*
Walking into the office with everyone else Ilya and David are both filming whilst I go ahead and greet him. “Hey, babe.” I say sweetly, trying to suppress my nerves as I hug him tightly.
“Hey, I can’t stop Y/n.” He mutters as he pulls away from my hug. “My lawyer needs to meet me and I’m already late.” He grabs his jacket and I can already sense his anxiety levels rising.
Before he has a chance to leave the office everyone is stood there with cameras and his annoyance becomes more obvious as he clenches his jaw, I remain standing behind him. “Dave, I need to get to my car.” He states, holding his hand out whilst David films him, unable to conceal his big grin.
“Okay,” He shrugs his shoulders before walking out where the boulder remains suspended over his car and immediately he rushes over in a panic.
And just as planned the boulder slams down onto the bonnet of his car, smashing the windscreen.
Dima is speechless, stood with pure rage and horror whilst everyone laughs around him. Everyone except me.
I move to stand in front of him and hold his hand, but he lets go and runs after Ilya as he stands on top of his car, smashing the windscreen until it falls through. “Fucking piece of shit.” He yells before chasing him across the field whilst David is hot on their tails, filming the entire thing.
“I didn’t think it would turn this sour so fast.” I mutter to Phil who shakes his head in disbelief.
“I’m sure he’ll be okay,” He says as he pats my back lightly whilst I wait in a horrible sense of anticipation keeping the keys close in my pocket.
As Dima comes back, his shirt in his hand as he catches his breath he walks over straight towards me.
Before I can react he takes me into the office, “You fuckers stay out here.” He spits and they all comply as he walks me inside towards Ilyas office. A heavy sigh sounds as he leans against the desk whilst I hover by the door knowing the camera in here is already set to film.
“I’m sorry your car is destroyed,” I say softly as I walk over and lean into him. “you might need these.” Placing the keys next to him I watch as he glances down and picks them up.
“No Y/n, no.” He says, shaking his head as he looks up at me with a mixture of anger and confusion. “You didn’t buy me a fucking car, you just didn’t.” His voice is pure disbelief, but I shrug my shoulders before heading towards the door.
“Guess you’ll have to see what’s outside.” I say, trying my best to smile but his irritation about the entire thing is making it harder.
He walks over, placing his hand on the door closing it. I remain still, leaning against the wood as he rests his arm against it, closing in on me. “My car wasn’t that bad, baby.” He says softly and I chuckle quietly.
“Dima,” I start. “your car didn’t have automatic windows. We had to hand crank them up and down.” I joke and he pulls a face. “Plus all the dents and us nearly getting gassed last week.”
“Yeah, I forgot about that.” He laughs quietly before kissing me softly. “You still shouldn’t have gotten me a car though. There’s no way I can repay you for such a thing.”
I shrug my shoulders before resting my arms around his waist. “You don’t need to repay me for it, D. I just want you to be safe when driving, and for us to enjoy our road trips and not fear for our lives.”

Dima often loitered outside convenience stores or gas stations like a human-sized cockroach, a morbid tale of Kafka's Metamorphosis if he were somehow more repulsive and smoked more than the United States could burn fossil fuel in a second. It wasn't a rare occasion for teenagers to ask him to buy them liquor or a pack of smokes; on better days, Dima would do as asked, responsibility be damned. This time, he'd pocketed the money, baring his teeth as an intimidation tactic—two of them missing, one replaced with a silver crown—when one of them had attempted to kick him in his shins for not giving their chump change back. Now they were left to their own vices, nursing a can of beer on the curb as they watched someone throw a temper tantrum over something insignificant. “The fuck you think? Do I look like someone with that kind of money?” Although it wasn't entirely true; Dimitri had stashed some away, courtesy of Myles' family—which was his way of saying he'd stolen it from them. But it was all for the 'I Fucked Up' fund: debts, their little brother Alexei's life-threatening medical emergencies, or family packs of ramen in moments of desperation. “Lottery is a scam. Designed to make you enough money to buy another, and before you know it, you're selling yourself on the street. Ain't pretty.”
( open; outside of a convenience store )
"Fuck," June hissed beneath their breath - nickel in hand as she scratched away at the lottery ticket; the fourth one in hand, tucked beneath one another. Not so much as two dollars, nothing but forty dollars wasted. They dumped the lottery tickets into the trash besides them - an aggressive shove; paused for a moment, before starting to kick the trashcan - all her frustrations let out on the poor bin. "Fuck's fucking - fuck's sake," More swears followed - a long string of them, until June was huffing and puffing, blowing strands of hair away as she glanced up at someone only a few feet away. "The fuck are you looking at?" Nickel still clutched firm in her hand - glanced down between it, and them. "You got ten dollars on you?"
