Imosril is a neogender umbrella related to the fear of unreality, madness, things not being quite right, spirals, fractals, lying and deception, delusions and hallucinations, optical illusions, mazes, insomnia, impossibility, and The Spiral from The Magnus Archives.

Imosril is not in itself xenogender, although some specific imosril terms may overlap. While intended to describe gender, imosril may be used for other types of identity as well.

day 3: Talk about either your favourite identity term of yours or a random one that applies to you! Why is it a part of your identity, how does it apply to you?

going to talk about a new one ive discovered about myself, imosril <3

before i discovered this, and even before i got back into the magnus archives a lot of the feelings that i now slot under imosril i fit under kenochoric, due to the lack of language i had, even though it never really felt right. when i got back into tma a few months ago old feelings of when i first listened to it years ago resurfaced. the way they talked about the spiral, about michael, about the distortion felt Right. the madness, the chaos, the nonhumanity of it all... everytime michael was called "it" a rush of gender euphoria went through me. even before i decided to go through radio's spiral tag i thought "yes. this explains so many gender experiences." i immediately leaned into being spiral aligned. and it filled me with euphoria i hadn't felt in a while! i felt happier than i had in months. and of course, when i got back into tma i was suddenly aware of just how many blogs i was following happened to also be into tma, i had somehow amassed a significant number of blogs that posted about the podcast without even realizing. and i realized that radio's blog happened to be one of them! so i searched through its spiral tag and eventually happened upon imosril (which, it also happened to coin) and it clicked with me. i was imosril. that was me. my connection to the spiral had taken its roots into my gender. i finally had words to put to my experiences.
