#immunosuppressants come back to me pls

i’ve been sick for almost a MONTH,, now i’m pretty sure i have a sinus infection,, i haven’t taken my medicine for my rheumatoid arthritis and lupus in weeks so now im in a flare up aGAIN after i was JUST starting to feel better with my new medicine,, this is INSANITY.

Mike & I are going to Austin in a couple of weeks and originally, my in-laws were going to watch the huas for us while we’re gone. But one of their dogs was diagnosed with liver cancer and is now undergoing chemo for it, which means he’s immunosuppressed and can’t be around other dogs right now. So my sister in law recommended one of her co-workers, who took three days to get back to me and said she needed to double check with her fiancee’s work schedule and would get back to me. That was on Monday. Haven’t heard from her since, which isn’t giving me good vibes at all. So I got in touch with a dog walker I know pretty well who boards dogs in her home, but the dates we need to have them there overlap with a client she’d already booked so she’s hesitant to have them stay at the same time.

I really really really don’t want to board them at a kennel. Nothing against kennels- I used to work at one myself- but it’s just not the right environment for Scarlett. She’s nervous enough in new environments even when we’re with her. Add in her fear of strangers and general anti-social nature… I feel like it would be so stressful for her.

So like… anyone wanna come to Vancouver for a few days and hang out with my huas?? I will pay u and ur welcome to all my food. The huas make A+ snuggling companions and there’s a beautiful, quiet park nearby that u can take them for nice long walks. Pls???
