Album Number Four Hundred Forty Five. “Then Play On” is #fleetwoodmac 's first release with #repriserecords after being lured away from #bluehorizonrecords and a one-off with #immediaterecords . The label would be the band's home until their self-titled 1975 album. The initial US release of the album omitted two tracks that were previously issued on the American compilation English Rose, while the second US pressing further abridged the tracklist with the addition of the hit single "#ohwell ". My copy is the 1970 gatefold on Reprise Records - RS 6368 (the rereleased version) When the double-sided single "Oh Well (Parts 1 & 2)" (released November 1969) became a hit, the US LP was re-released in a revised running order to include "Oh Well", dropping #dannykirwan 's "When You Say" and "My Dream" to make room for it. 購入日： 1982年9月12日 購入先 ：船井通氏（ロッカローラ　岡崎市） ⁡ ロッカローラの船井氏から購入したレコードの一枚。1968年の発売。全英アルバムチャートで一位を記録している。ビートルズの「Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 」が1967年5月、ローリングストーンズの「Their Satanic Majesties Request」が同年12月、そしてこのアルバムは、1968年5月だ。様々なバンドがコンセプトアルバム制作していた。このアルバムは、難解過ぎてどう表現したらいいか分からないけど、一曲一曲がカッコいいし、演奏が上手い。B面は、ハピネス・スタンという少年を題材にしたオリジナルのおとぎ話らしいが、このレコードに「Stan Berry」のサインがある。このレコードの以前の所有者の名前だろうが、同じ名前なのが気になる。 ⁡ Date of purchase: 12 September 1982 Purchased from: Tōru Funai (Rocka Rolla) ⁡ One of the records was purchased from Mr Funai of Rocka Rolla. This album is too difficult to explain, but each song is cool and well-played, and the B-side, which is apparently an original fairy tale about a boy called Happiness Stan, is signed ‘Stan Berry’ on the record.
