give me a 🍓 and one of my ocs and i’ll tell you some random facts headcanons about them.

1. foi trainee da SM por quatro anos, e chegou a ser considerado para debutar em um dos grupos mais famosos da companhia atualmente (*cough* nct dream *cough*) antes de ser preterido por “não se encaixar no conceito do grupo”– o que considerou lógico, já que um daeyoung inocente não enganaria ninguém mas, depois da quinta promessa de debut misteriosamente adiado e da quinta formação de grupo que “não era boa o suficiente”, decidiu que estava de saco cheio e pediu a recisão do contrato.

2. quase não teve vida social no ápice de sua juventude devido aos longos e cansativos treinos de dança e vocal que eram exigidos; foi por isso que, tão logo se libertou do contrato que mais parecia sugar-lhe a vida, começou a abrir as asinhas para o mundo e procurar deixar o ninho. sua ideia de gravar vídeos de dance challenge veio como uma maneira de sair dos moldes de expectativa tradicionais para quem quer ter sucesso no mundo da música na coreia – e foi bem sucedido em construir fama para si mesmo sem precisar da ajuda de qualquer agência graças ao compartilhamento de seus vídeos por parte de várias celebridades americanas.

3. seu canal no youtube é tão bagunçado quanto o processo de formação de suas trilhas de pensamento: posta desde mukbangs até vídeos de concept dance, enfiando vlogs e Q&As no meio. seus melhores amigos são presença constante em diversos vídeos.

4. se mudou para los angeles após receber convites de alguns coreógrafos e estúdios locais para que ensinasse lá; tornou-se parte da companhia de dança IMMABEASTco, de willdabeast e janelle ginestra, mas continuou a trabalhar em suas próprias rotinas e a dar aulas de maneira independente nos grandes estúdios locais.

5. sempre mantém as unhas pintadas de preto. é parte de sua estética desde que se entende por gente, junto com os múltiplos anéis de prata nos dedos da mão direita e os brincos de argola.

6. gosta muito de moda e acompanha os trabalhos de diversos designers; a melhor parte de sua nova vida como influencer é que passou a receber as roupas e sapatos com os quais sonhava em sua juventude de graça. 

7. é conhecido por flertar com deus e o mundo, mas joo e jisoo sabem o quão fácil é para dae se apaixonar; a verdade é que ele não é muito bom em ficar solteiro e tende a emendar um relacionamento fracassado em outro porque detesta estar sozinho. enquanto joohyun tem pavor de relacionamentos, daeyoung se recusa a desistir do amor e fica tentando arrumar encontros para o amigo a qualquer custo, mal sabendo que jisoo já está trabalhando na questão de maneira muito mais eficiente.

8. tem uma ex que o persegue e manda mensagens constantemente; a garota era extremamente ciumenta e controladora, o que simplesmente não funciona com o tipo de personalidade que dae tem e foi o motivo do término, mas como ela aparecia com frequência em seus vídeos até então, os fãs não fazem a menor ideia de qual seja a razão do fim do relacionamento e criam mil teorias e especulações em cima disso; por muito que daeyoung esteja exausto de toda a situação e das constantes perguntas, se recusa a dizer o que aconteceu realmente porque não quer a expor ao linchamento virtual subsequente.

9. tal como joohyun, também toca violino, e este foi o assunto em comum que encontraram e que os tornou amigos inicialmente.

10. ama teatro musical e sempre foi envolvido no clube de teatro da escola em sua juventude. vem tentado convencer jisoo e joohyun a acompanhá-lo em uma viagem para new york com o objetivo de assistir as montagens de peças da broadway desde que os entende por amigos, mas sempre que conseguem marcar uma data aparece algum imprevisto que estraga seus planos; tornou-se brincadeira entre eles referir-se às tentativas de dae como “a viagem amaldiçoada”.
