do you think it's a good idea to hide the fact im a proshipper on my new self ship blog??? im just afraid to get doxxed or sent dms to kill myself. ofc i'll block antis but putting proshipper in my bio is kinda like im asking to be harassed and i dont want to deal with that bullshit 😭

what i recommend is that if you do want to disclose that youre a proshipper, id stay away from the main selfship tags if i were you and use the proselfship tags as if theyre sensible enough to block out the tag, you shouldnt have much of a problem. antis are a ticking time bomb so if you DO want to stay in the main selfship tags and want to be safe, heres what i got for you;

-> keep anon asks off as most of the time, antis are too wimp shit to send you hate if they cant be anonymous

-> if you want to post dead dove content, id steer away from main fandom tags or main selfship tags as its 50/50 if they even have proship tags blocked atp

-> uhh guhh uh thats all i got man 😭

ultimately, you dont have to completely leave the main fandom or selfship tags as theyre for everyone and it doesnt matter but if you do want avoid discourse or drama, i'd atleast take caution with using them. anyways if anyone else has got advice, feel free to reblog or comment.
