Ok, I love movie trivia, and as soon as I watch a movie, I look up trivia on IMDB... did anyone else see... or remember...

On Trolls 3 there was a piece of trivia that said something like:

"Though Brianna Mazzola provided the singing voice of Velvet, Amy Schumer provided the voice, which was great casting because she acts like her In real life."

Or something like that basically saying Amy Schumer was as bad as Velvet... did anyone see that? Does anyone remember that? Am I just crazy?

Never met her IRL, but she's being straight up dragged on Twitter with her new movie announcement...

Name an actor/actress who once had a really BAD music career and give an example.

I'll go first.

Ed Skrein (Deadpool, Rebel Moon, Transporter Refueled) used to be a rapper for a while. He was known simply as Skrein and it was through this that he started acting. One of his industry buddies (Plan B) made a movie called Ill Manors and wrote a character (named Ed) specifically with Skrein in mind to play him.

I've listened to several of his songs and can say that most of them are pretty bad. I only like two of them and between the two I only consider one to be semi-decent. These are Reach (semi decent, but his accent makes you laugh) and Once Upon a Skrein (which makes me laugh my ass off every time I hear it).

Honestly, this guy's life is a freaking roller coaster to read about. I'm not even playing. I'll talk about it in another post later (cause I'm a freak about movies and actors like that) but for now I'm gonna stick to the rap thing.

None of this is to say that Skrein doesn't have any musical talent. He DOES. That's highlighted in the Netflix movie I Used to be Famous that he starred in, where he plays a washed up ex boyband member who really wants to get back in the game. There are a few songs in it, and most of them are actually pretty nice.
