I feel like mams would crumble every time he hears “I love you”,

not in the sense of him being so inlove with mc, which is is, but it’s more in the sense of not hearing it very often, since the brothers all seem like they express affection more with actions then words, and clearly he’s kinda bullied, so I’m sure he has moments of feeling unloveable. he savors every moment Mc tells him such a fact because he doesn’t know if the next day they’ll suddenly stop loving him, or if they’ll just suddenly not be around anymore, their mortality will always scare him the most…

And now we think we may have an alternate universe episode

So imagine this alternate universe is in his head and it’s if Shannon hadn’t died (are we ripping off buck? Yes but friends who match trippy coma dreams together stay together?)

and throughout the coma dream obviously things aren’t working out for them but we keep getting vague references of him hiding something or playing a role etc (this may be a niche reference but who here read the steal my sunshine fic by @cal-daisies-and-briars ? THAT like the trippy comp het references except merged with Shannon alive comaverse) and obviously surprising to absolutely no one the big secret is this man is stonecold gay but we don’t get told that till the end of the episode after he’s already woke up and we end on a cliffhanger of a buddie confession

Omg and one of the things in the comaverse COULD be that if Shannon had lived buck and him wouldn’t be so close (adding to the hints throughout the dream because why is the world so similar but THIS isn’t) and he wouldn’t be as involved in Christopher’s life and ahhhhhhhhh now I’m thinking of all the ripple effects because of how entangled they are in each others lives and how much those significant emotional moments impact them- like what would buck be like if he never had the will conversation? Or even something as small as ranting to Eddie abt his parents and getting that validation of his feelings? Or Eddie if buck hadn’t helped him through s5? So many thingssss

Back on track- this realisation of his motives in romanticising his relationship with Shannon and what his real relationship was like could be such a quick way to wrap up the Shannon/kim storyline

5. What's your least favourite clan? Why? I spent like ten years staring at my v20 pdf and soul searching and weirdly enough... Toreadors? I think its the Toreadors. I don't dislike them, they're just the ones I'm least likely to reach for. I chalk it up to the fact that I work at a theater as my day job, so "Immortal Art Guy" has less allure. Hecata/Giovanni. Both campaigns I ST for are fairly necromancer-light (small towns/SI infested backwoods) and I haven't gotten the chance to build a OC within the clan yet. Something I def want to do in the future!

Marcel very much channels my college-aged self: rarely sober and always having to improvise around my own poor planning (and that planning was poor bc I was constantly stoned oops).

Also, the father/son mentor/apprentice dynamic Ana has with Kliment is in part inspired by my own relationship with my dad, who spent a good chunk of his life as an animator and taught me how to draw. I'm still semi-decent at it, but I don't have any art that's fit to post for the public gaze lol. 16. Do you have a character that was created from a dumb/ silly idea but now you can't imagine not having them?

Marcel!!! He started as a burner character--a burnout librarian caught stealing from a Tremere's private collection gets sired as a joke between Elders. A hapless, college DnD wizard expy fledgling Tremere to use as a chew toy while I learned v20 (it was my first ever WoD game!), but then he went from 0 to the walking embodiment of Eye Of The Storm in roughly a dozen sessions. Fun Fact: I had the basic concept for Anatol sketched out waaaaaay back in 2020, because the intention was that he'd be Marcel's replacement. But then Marcel just... never died. Head-on car collision? "Thank God I was drinking." Abducted by SI? Survived. Sabbat doppelganger out for his neck? Diablerized. Werewolf? (barely)Survived. Demon? He thriiiiiiiived, bay-beee. He's STILL up and kicking after 5 fucking years of sessions. The Elders who sired him as a joke? Dead. Also? He's Prince now, fuck you. Half the city is in a literal sinkhole, don't worry about it, that's a problem for the next Prince. He's fucking a koldun who looks like the Shape Of Water fish that lives at the bottom of Lake Michigan. He now owns the most popular freshwater fishermen strip club, the Hook, Line and Sink-Her. He's picking up mycology, much to everyone's protestation and distress. It has been canonically confirmed that a universe where Marcel is born and the city still stands intact does not exist--more omen than man. So, the average MLB team owner (Go Lampreys).

27. (Dream Chronicle) Where and when is it set?

Oh lord this could be so many thingssss. Early 2000's Mammoth Cave region in Kentucky is one of my fav places I've built for my own vamp game, though if I had to choose somewhere that I haven't developed... prob stick with the same region, but in at the turn of the century when cave exploration/exploitation was booming in the area.

That, or something set in the 70s/80s, a midwestern town with a large limestone mine. Ideally that one would have its fair share of Mage shenanigans, as well.

i agree 100%. and this may be a hot take, but i think there comes a point where his caregiver complex becomes exhausted. bc with allllll that libra energy, he really does crave peace and balance, but he can feel like he's the one doing everything to take care of everyone. i think he would feel super overwhelmed with love if you wanted to really take care of him too. like obviously he would still need to do things for you too in order to feel needed, but for someone to step in and fully take care of HIM i think would calm his soul so so much. and at that point, it's like REALLLLY who is he without you? bc you give him that sense of belonging, value, and love.

i get vibes that when you're home together, channie will absolutely be touchy and clingy and want to spend time with you, but he def still needs his space to go out and explore, which he does when he's out of the house or away from you. with all his sag in mars energy, he needs to get out and do thingssss. like i def think he'd be the type to have his own little world at home and never reject seeing his friends just bc he's in a relationship. but when he's home, he's with YOU. he probably also doesn't get very much time to spend at home, so it makes it more special when he does get to see you. it becomes his feeling of relief at the end of the day when he can finally let his guard down and have someone else care for him and him care for you. he's such a cutie.
