Day 18 of Christmas: Snuggle Up on the Couch 

You swung your apartment door open and stepped inside, desperate to escape the cold. Sam and Dean ran in behind you, still laughing to themselves as you scurried to turn on the heater. You probably should’ve done that before you’d all left. Oops. You guys drank enough hot chocolate while you were out to fill your stomachs to bursting. You couldn’t take another sip from another cup. You were pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to look at another cup for the next month. You laughed at yourself, knowing damn well that wasn’t true. Dean turned on your tv in the living room while Sam went into the bathroom to freshen himself up.

You went to your bedroom, closed your door, and proceeded to undress and put on some comfortable pajamas before heading back into the living room where Sam and Dean were on opposite ends of the couch, conversing with each other. You plopped down in the middle of them and asked if they’d found anything good to watch. Dean said he was trying to look. Dean finally found some sort of action film to watch. You loved action movies, but you couldn’t focus on the movie. The heater hadn’t kicked up completely yet and you were freezing. 

Dean, being the ever-observant person he was, noticed your poor attempt to stop your shivering. He reached over your shoulders and grabbed your throw blanket hanging over the middle of your couch and draped it over your shoulders. He then reached his arm around your shoulders again, pulling your body into his. You tensed up for a moment before relaxing into Dean’s warm body. Sam looked over at the two of you, and you noticed he looked uncharacticalisticly jealous. You giggled and beckoned him to lay on your lap. He smiled and moved down the couch so his legs would dangle over the edge and Sam gently laid his head on your lap, moving your left so that it dangled on his shoulder. You blushed at the potentially exposing position you were in. If anyone walked in on you guys right now, you didn’t even want to know what they would think. 

But there you all were. Comfortable, and though it took a while, you were warm. And as you drifted off to sleep, you slowly didn’t care.

Alright everyone. I have a little announcement for my spn fans. I am writing a part 2 to "I'll See You in Hell"

I am aware that I wrote that back in 2020, but I have finally had the inspiration to write a part 2. I'm not sure when it'll come out, but it's in the works! I have about 1,000 or so words written! Day 7 of Christmas: Make/Eat Chicken Stew

A/N: Wow! I made it to seven days! This is gonna be my longest series ever! But this is fun! Cheers to week one! And to two more! Just a reminder that requests are CLOSED for the month of December during my Days of Christmas event!

Another slow lazy day in the Bunker was exactly what you all needed, even if you weren’t sure at the time. The last thing you needed was for you or your boys to catch something from being outside too much. It was already a surprise you all didn’t catch anything after playing in the snow for as long as you did. You didn’t want to push your luck. Sam had mentioned wanting a good, hearty, meal lately. And today, you’d give him just that. 

You’d just finished cutting up your chicken breast and seasoning them to perfection. You moved them to the fridge and moved on to cutting up your veggies which consisted of grand red bell peppers, onions, carrots, celery, two mint leaves, and some cilantro.  You’d started cutting up ingredients at around two pm and it was nearly half past 3 when you moved on to cutting your potatoes. You’d called in Sam and Dean for help. You’d need at least half a bag's worth of potatoes for the huge pot you were making. You talked of good and bad memories while on hunts and in the bunker. When all the potatoes were cut, You turned on one of the burners.

You dumped your chicken in the burning pan and proceeded to brown them a bit. After you were satisfied with the color on your chicken you took the pan off and put it on one of the back burners. You didn’t cook the chicken all the way. It would cook in the broth once you put it on. You did the same with the bell peppers and onion. While grilling them for a bit, you grabbed your chicken broth and put it in your pot, and let it start simmering a bit. When the broth was about to start boiling, you added your seasonings to the broth and your pan of onions and bell peppers. You turned off the fire to the veggies and added flour to the pan to thicken it up a bit to a gravy-like mixture. Then turned the burner down for your broth pot. 

Once you were satisfied with the mixture, you added your carrots and potatoes to the broth. After about an hour of cooking and simmering the potatoes, you add the veggies from the other pan. Letting it simmer and adding a bit more seasonings you stood there and stirred the pot a bit. Happy with how the meal was coming out and brought your book into the kitchen and set your timer. After your timer went off, it was finally time to add in your chicken and let it cook for another 30 or so minutes. 

You grabbed a tasting spoon and tasted a bit of everything in the pot to make sure everything cooked correctly. You did a little happy dance as the taste hit your tongue. You added a finishing touch of heavy cream and smiled to yourself. The boys would demolish this no doubt. You turned off your burner and waited for the pot to cool down a bit and made some big bowls for you and the boys. They pushed each other to get into the kitchen first. They’d been smelling the food for hours and couldn’t eat it.

They were practically drooling like rabid dogs as they dug into their bowls. You shook your head and ate your food like a sane person. By the time Sam and Dean had the 3rd bowl they were rubbing their stomachs and ready for a nap. You smiled as they thanked you for their dinner and Dean invited you and Sam to another night in his man cave for another movie night. Dean even let you play your favorite movies. You, Sam, and Dean woke up hours later to you all sprawled across the room from each other and giggling like school girls. 

This was the best night yet.

Day 3 of Christmas: Make Gingerbread Cookies

There was a certain kind of buzz in the bunker today. And no, not from the generator. There was excitement in the air. This happy energy put a certain ‘pep’ in everyone’s step. Today you’d told the boys to save their energy because today you’d all be making soft gingerbread cookies! You’d asked your mother and grandmother for the recipe and they finally agreed to give it to you after a considerable amount of begging. They also decided you were “old enough now” to have the recipe and to pass it on to the important people in your life.

You were practically buzzing with anticipation yourself. You’d gotten up early with Sam just because you were too excited to go back to sleep. Sam was in the kitchen making his protein shake for his run and lacing up his shoes. He’d asked if you were alright since you never got up this early. You told him you were fine, and he didn’t believe it until you told him why. 

“I’m just excited for today! I’m fine Sam, really.��� You said with a Cheshire cat-like smile. 

“What’s today?” Sam asked, a little nervous about your answer. 

“You’ll see Sam. Have a good run, I’ll be in the library.” You rose from your seat and practically skipped to the library. Leaving Sam to wonder what you had planned for the day. 

Three hours later, you were in your comfy bean bag chair in the library reading a new book in a series you recently bought. You were excited but calm as you flipped through the pages, wondering what would happen next. Sam sat in his usual chair, reading one of the Alice in Wonderland books. A small yet content smile on his face as he enjoyed his own little adventure. Peace and quiet wasn’t something hunters got often. Some others would start getting a little antsy by now (and admittedly Dean was), but you all still enjoyed the hunter-rader being quiet. No news is good news in this case. 

Dean woke up a little bit ago, he came to the library and greeted you and Sam with a hearty “Good morning.”, with you and Sam greeting him back. He asked if any of you wanted him to make breakfast, to which you and Sam agreed and Dean retreated back into the kitchen to make some bacon, eggs, and toast for Sam, and waffles for you and Dean. It was a quiet but pleasant morning. After the dishes were washed out by you and dried but Sam. You’d called Dean into the kitchen. Where your afternoon activities would start, and you just couldn’t contain yourself as Dean walked through the kitchen. 

“Alright Y/N, what do you have planned for us today?” Dean said as he met you and Sam behind the counter. 

“I hope you boys got some aprons ready because we are making my grandmother's famous gingerbread cookies!” 

Dean and Sam’s eyes lit up like fireworks as you instructed them to get out a few bowls and you preheated the oven. After mixing in all the ingredients and placing the dough on the baking sheet, the oven went off, indicating the oven was preheated to its set temperature. Sam slid the sheet into the oven. While cleaning up the kitchen, Sam was sweeping up eggshells, sugar, and flour from the ensuing three-way food fight started by Sam, surprisingly. You were all still giggling like a group of school girls and enjoying the relative silence until the oven timer went off, indicating the cookies were done. 

Dean got the first cookie and shoved it in his mouth as soon as the cookies cooled down, moaning as the cookie practically melted in his mouth. Sam and you grabbing your own cookies and following Dean’s example. The three of you made eye contact and busted out laughing. 

The vibes were immaculate that evening as you all retired to Dean’s man cave and watched slasher movies all night long.
