Nearly 18 years ago, I set out to relocate my wine roots from Cucamonga, Ca. in search for a region where I could mature my career as well as a place where I believed my family would thrive. When I chose to partner with a Lodi grape grower family to start a new brand, I could have never imagined that the region I moved to would grow into the prominence it is today. The fact that my love affair with Napa & Sonoma would be within a rocks throw of my home ended up providing me with the best of all worlds. Today that decision has given me access to multiple Old Vine Zinfandel vineyards from Lodi’s sub-AVA’s, Napa Cabernet from the Valley Floor, Coombsville & Atlas Peak along with Red blenders for Mark Nicholas Meritage and the Gotti Wine brand not to mention Pinot Noir from Sonoma, Chardonnay from Carneros, Rhône varieties from Clements Hills and the Mokelumne River AVA’s...I could not feel more blessed than I am right now.
