Imagination Awards Revival

Hello Everyone!!!!

I was thinking of bringing the awards back, because lately I’ve seen many people in the 1D tag still writing and still very much deserving of awards. There’s been a HUGE influx of stories coming in at wattpad, AO3, tumblr and various other sites since we held the last awards in 2016.

The rules have slightly updated due to the site being shutdown. As a result, it opens up other opportunities for fanfics to count in the awards.

Hey guys!

We got a little announcement to make. Since we’re back and building our team at the moment, we were wondering if you guys were interested in having a mini awards for Christmas-themed fics? 🎄🎅❄️❤️

There are a lot of great stories out there, especially on wattpad that deserve to get something nice this holiday season. Any 1D boy is welcome, as long as it’s Christmas-themed.

We’re considering only 2 awards will be given for the mini event:

Best Christmas One Shot

When are the results going up?

We’ve had a few problems with the production of the badges and have gotten a new artist. She’s working at them now so we are waiting on them really. If needs be, we will post the results before we receive the graphics.

Do we as authors need to send you faceclaims even though we dont know if we won? Like if we were nominated at least

If you were nominated, send in your face claims. If some of the winners don’t reply, then we will post our results and the authors in question, can get back to us with their FC’s. Hope that helps love :)

Hi, I actually wanted to start a set of awards. I personally appreciate and respect the hardwork you and a few other award blogs do to celebrate the work of other authors. And for inspiring me to take this initiative. But unfortunately, I don't have any team to help mevon that. Any help on how to find people who are interested?

Thank you so much for your kind words. They always mean so much to us. Personally, what we did, is started chatting on the boards at 1DFF and then ideas came from there. The main team is just two people but we use various graphic artists and we also we have other friends that we talk to from time to time.

I’d suggest going on a network like that, finding like minded people and going from there. It’s always good to have other awards blogs helping you too. When we started, we had The Rooftop Awards full support and we still do to this day.

Have a chat around and see what happens, just make sure that you’re happy with the finished product and stick by your rules and such. We’re happy to help aspiring blogs :)

We are currently under way with discussions of it as we are administrating a few changes. It’ll be completed a little after our awards have finished as they are currently our priority.

I nominated someone for Best Harry and it's not on the list? You said 10 noms per category and there's only 9 so I'm wondering what happened?

Some things were taken off if their reviews were too high or if they’ve won the same award before. Can I ask what the fic in question was as we might be able to give you more information as to why it was removed. 

If it fits the criteria then we can add it again but we’d need the specific fic.

Are you going to be doing a winter awards? If so, when are they?

We are doing a Winter Awards. Our dates are usually around the Rooftop awards as we try not to have both on at the same time. They’ll probably begin mid December or early January.
