God where do I even start. They are so insanely devoted to each other from the beginning, within the first arc Killua proves that he's ready and willing to kill for Gon and protect him no matter what. They go through so much together over the course of the series, and even though they have other friends it's the pair of them that are inseparable. They are both insanely devoted to one another and are willing to go extreme lengths to protect their friendship.

Hey, just to let people know: The submitter for the poll I'm queuing right now for posting in uh... ten minutes... added a piece of fanart not drawn by them (I assume, as they said "by [username]" rather than "by me") as their suggested image. While the fanart is great, I can't use fanart without explicit permission from the artist (sent to me via Tumblr, not through the form, as I can't verify you are who you say you are through the form), as that would be reposting someone's art without permission! Please attach official art if you're going to submit an image!

I'd still prefer to use official art as fanart isn't always immediately recognizable if it's not in the style of the original, you know? But IF someone were to contact me and say "you have my permission to use this art for this poll" I would at least consider it.

Catching Kira is overrated. Let's talk about not getting caught as Kira.

This is the reverse of @couldtheycatchkira where I give you a character and you determine if they could survive as Kira.

Important note: Assume the character is completely willing to be Kira. @wouldtheybecomekira already exists.

There are six categories:

Never caught or suspected: Not only does this character live to actually create their new world, but nobody ever suspects it was actually them! I better not see you vote people into this category just because you like them or it'd be funny. Actually it being funny is valid

Suspected but never caught: It's about a five percent chance. They live to make their new world, and while people have certainly suggested it being them, and some believe it, there's just not enough evidence to convict them

Suspected only by whoever caught them: The general public was fooled, but someone, likely an enemy of that character in their canon, caught on to them and brought them to justice.

Suspected and eventually caught: Look, not even Actual Kira was perfect. They slip up little by little, and they get caught.

Caught almost instantly: Oh, all of that character's worst enemies die day one? Yeah, if they don't stop to think, it's pretty easy to lead investigators straight to them before Ryuk has the chance to not tell them some critical information.

Known, but can't be caught: In other words: "I'm Kira, whatcha gonna do about it?" For characters whose abilities outside of the Death Note mean that facing the law is barely even a possibility for them. (This one is a late addition, so early polls won't have it.)

(Results/Unqualified To Say): If you don't know, don't answer. I do try to include supplementary information when I know the character, and get it out of the submitter when I don't, though.

When you submit a character, please include their source media, and if you can, an image of them from their source media.

Additionally, ever so often we'll run polls about the Shinigami Eyes Deal and Relinquishing the Death Note and your memory of it.

For the Shinigami Eyes Deal:

Takes the Eye Deal instantly: As soon as it's on the table they accept. Yes, they did hear the part about losing half their remaining life span. They said they accept.

Takes the Eye Deal eventually: They'll come around to it, or if they think they don't have that long a natural lifespan left anyway.

Takes the Eye Deal due to desperate circumstances: They're forced into a bad spot and just need to get someone off them right now, or their life is gonna shortened by a lot more than half.

Uses someone else who took the Eye Deal: You can choose who, and what circumstances allow this to even be possible.

Never takes the Eye Deal: They just don't. Ever. It's either not worth it, it's too easy, whatever.

For Relinquishing the Death Note

Relinquishes Death Note permanently; no longer needs it: They've done what they needed with the notebook. I know I said we're assuming they're completely willing to become Kira, but we never said anything about staying Kira.

Relinquishes Death Note permanently; only way to survive: Investigators are getting too close to their trail and if they're interrogated they'll definitely crack. It's possible they also make someone else become Kira, but this is a one-way street. They do not remember this, ever.

Relinquishes Death Note temporarily; never regains it: It's very hard to stick to a plan you don't remember making. They relinquish the notebook with the intent of getting it back, and simply never do. Either to a change of heart, circumstances not allowing it, or what have you.

Relinquishes Death Note temporarily; regains it: The perfect alibi, perfectly executed. You can fill in the blanks for what their plan was and how it works, they're Kira, they'll do it.

Never relinquishes Death Note: Again, they just don't.

And also also, you can submit strategies for what you would do if you're Kira! These can be found under the tag "Kira's strategies," and are polled with the following options:

Flawless Strategy; Why didn't Light use this, is he stupid?

Great Strategy; On par with Light

If you have subscriptions to Post+ blogs that were paid for via an in-app purchase on Android or iOS, you’ll need to cancel them on your device (we’ve also emailed the people who were subscribed this way). All existing Post+ posts have been converted to private posts.

The latest version of the iOS app, 32.8.1, has a fix for a bug that was preventing images from being rearranged when making a photoset.

Submissions in your inbox on web no longer display a duplicate avatar for the submitter.

Mentions in private group blogs’ posts will now send a push notification, like other mentions, but only if you’re a member of the private group blog.

You’ll no longer receive a push notification about your own reply on a group blog’s post that you’re a member of.

Also something I just thought of, since people are out here submitting blorbos to @who-do-i-know-this-man-s4 it actually would do some good to give some handy tips on things to avoid when submitting character images (aka pet peeves I've had while doing this)

Number 1 thing to note: NO NO SUBMIT A LINK TO A YOUTUBE VIDEO! In general, if the link you submit requires a screenshot, YOU should be the one to take a screenshot. It will be significantly less annoying for the submitter than for the poll runner.

Also AVOID IMDB if possible. Their images are weird as hell and don't count as images. If imdb is your only choice screenshot the image you need. Never link to imdb.

Speaking of screenshots, if you have an image you want to submit but need to upload it somewhere to copy a link from, just post it on tumblr. Some people submitted images they uploaded to site called "imagebiz123 .borg or whatever and half the time those straight up did not work.

Check the filetype of the image (easy way to do this is to save the image to your device and see what file type it is). If it isn't PNG or Jpeg then screenshot it.

And lastly, just take a moment to really consider the contents of the image you are sending. I've had to manually put a censor bar on a comic cover because it had a baby baby vomiting right on the cover. That's gross. Of you're submitting something like that it's your responsibility to find a better image, or at least cover the unsavory parts yourself. Same thing goes for gore and anything close enough to nudity to make tumblr staff be angry.

Shallan Davar-The Stormlight Archive

Qualifications:

She's bisexual (word-of-god and heavy implication in text) and has DID (clear in the text). Her thirst for both men and women is somewhat legendary, as is her fractured mental state.

Propaganda:

She's bi and has a nuanced representation of DID, along with other mental illness and severe trauma. She's also a rogue-slash-magical-knight with powers of light, illusion, and bad jokes under horrible pressure. She's cute, a great artist, and a great murderer too.

Anything Else?:

There might be other submissions of her (who knows); if they provide different image selections, please refrain from using one where her features look more white than East Asian, as some of the official art is whitewashed, and likewise lots of the fanart. Such is the burden of book fandoms. Anyway, thanks.

He's so cool. He builds his own prosthetics that interface with the prosthetics he built for his disabled dragon. First viking to ride a dragon. Chief that brought a new era of prosperity to Berk.

Probably one of the most popular physically disabled characters. And although I personally am not disabled, I have heard a bunch of disabled ppl say that they like him as rep. As he pretty much just exists with his disability. It is not ignored. He doesn't not always function the same as people with 2 regular legs. But it is not made into a tragedy. He just has a prosthetic leg after an accident which caused him to loose one. And nobody really makes a big deal out of it, which makes sense in the society they live in.
