Its been almost 2 weeks since me and klitz had our kiss and i couldn’t stop thinking about it. When he got home that night he texted me: ‘i had a really nice time. and i would like to see you again:)’ it made me smile knowing he was thinking about it too.

earlier today klitz called me and asked me to come over. at first i was super excited to be all alone but he said his friend eli would be there too. i didn’t mind, i’ve met eli, he’s kinda funny. a little different but in a good way. i was mainly friends with Klitz, not so much his friends too but it should be fun.

right…?

Klitz and i were sitting on the couch flipping through the channels not really paying attention to it, mainly just waiting for Eli. He held my hand tightly, i could feel he was worried about us meeting all together. The doorbell rang and klitz quickly let go of me and raced to the door.

“Hey Eli! y/n is here on the couch, there's some food in the kitchen if you want,” opening the door letting Eli in.

“Klitzy so good to see you, wow y/n so it’s true you are together... good to see you, too.”

I gave him a quick smile and a small “hey” before turning my attention back to klitz. I wonder what he told them… Klitz came and sat back down next to me, putting his attention on the tv.

“You’re sure its ok he hangs out with us? I can tell him to leave and it can just be us.” it was barley audible, it was cute he was willing to do that for me.

“No its ok klitz, i promise. you dont have to keep asking me that, ya know.” he takes my hand and glances to eli, who was looking through the fridge, then brings my hand up and kisses my hand, ugh i’m gonna melt.

Eli came back in the living room and sat beside me, holding an array of snacks and putting them on the table in front of us.

“Ok guys i brought a really good film for us to watch, its a swedish horror without subtitles but you dont need to understand it to enjoy it” he got up and put it into the dvd player. Instantly it was loud and flashing red blood drippings onto the title screen. ok, interesting start. Klitz still had my hand in his but had them prominently displayed resting on his lap.

As the movie continued i could see eli and klitz glancing at each other and at me. Something weird is going on with them, did they get hypnotized by this movie or something?

A particularly gory part of the movie started and i winced into klitz shoulder, burying it into the crook of his neck. I could feel his pulse accelerate at the contact, i stayed there for a moment just enjoying that contact, and being genuinely grossed out.

“Scary parts over” he whispered to me, i gave his neck a small kiss and looked back at the movie. I took a quick peak in eli’s direction, was he staring at my legs? I looked him in the eyes and when he looked in mine he gave me a wide eyed smile and quickly looked back at the movie. What a weirdo… I schooched over to klitz more and put my head on his shoulder and held onto his arm rather than just his hand, he felt tense.

The movie ended and i was left mainly just confused rather than “enlightened” by a foreign film as eli said would happen to us. klitz cleared his throat and got up first, then eli stood up too. guess i should too since we all are.

“Um so what did you guys think,” i asked making my way to the kitchen to get some water

“Definitely interesting”

“Ya im with klitz on that. Have you seen this one already, eli?”

“Oh no i don't think so, i've seen others by this director but they're all very good in my opinion. Ya know i- i think im gonna go actually. Its getting kinda late” we all looked outside to the still blue sky. “My mom wants me home early”

We all said our goodbyes and he left pretty fast, taking the leftover snacks with him.

“I think he just stole from you klitz” i laughed going back to the living room where he was still standing. His fists were clenched and he was chewing on the inside of his cheek. “Are you ok?”

“What? Oh uh ya fine, just…”

“Just what?”

“I can’t tell you” he dropped his head. I put my hands on his face and lifted his head up to meet my eye line.

“Why not”

“I promised eli i wouldn't”

“So it's something with eli? What does he have a crush on me or something?” i joked but as soon as i saw klitz chew on the inside of his cheek again i knew i hit a nerve, “Wait are you serious??”

“no! no, its worse, y/n” he sat down on the couch and started flipping through the channels landing on some show mid-episode. “I told him about you and me and he told me he.. He always wanted to ‘bang’ you” he said in quotes, trying not to look me in the eyes. “I don't know why I even invited him over. He said he was just joking and it would be fine to hang out but i don’t know.”

“Well i don't really care” i said quietly sitting on the floor in front of him, looking up at him hoping for eye contact.

“You don't? Why not? Couldn't you see, he was staring at you the entire time, knowing me and you are-”

“Are what, klitzy?” i looked up at him knowing it would excite him.

Hi :) I'm watching for like the third time and each time I see the first episode I wonder why its such a big deal to get the booze for the party. Are they really strict about minors drinking in Sweden? Why is Micke a dealer? Is it difficult to get alcohol in Sweden in general? Its mentioned that they did checks at the school to prep for Wille but apart from that I cant figure out why getting alcohol was hard for them. Maybe Im just used to American media where they don't mention issues like this

Wait, didn't I write about this? Oh wow, talk about cultural blindness, I thought the whole thing was obvious...

In Sweden, the drinking age is 18, but in order to buy alcohol in (the government monopoly) store, you have to be 20. This means that even though there's a bunch of 18-year-olds among August and his friends, they're not old enough to buy for a private party, and they're also stuck at the school.

So the usual way for kids to get alcohol is to ask someone to buy for them. You ask an older sibling, or friend, or maybe even your parents. Someone always knows someone. August's usual contact is not available, and Vincent is nervous because the school is more locked down than usual. August asks Simon, because Simon goes away from the school everyday. Simon asks Ayub how he got alcohol for midsummer (It's not just a horror movie, it's a real holiday featuring lots of booze) and he says that he asked Simon's dad, which is how the entire storyline of Simon getting back in touch with his dad starts.

In Swedish, all the characters are consistently talking about "köpa ut", which means to buy alcohol for someone who is underage as a favour, but the subtitles and dubs are really struggling with this, and settled on "dealing". But this makes it sound like Micke is some kind of prohibition era gangster who drives around in his van, selling moonshine to kids, which is not the case here.

What happened is that August sent Simon a list of what he wanted, Simon gave the list to his dad, who went to the store, bought the stuff, gave it to Simon, who gave it to August, thus starting the whole subplot of August being broke and unable to pay for it. That's it.

Sander absolutely loves to tease him and keep him at the edge of the seat which is why he told him the place only half an hour before their meeting, for which Robbe intended to tell him off. And then all hell broke loose and the storm that had been loudly talked about in the media came to Antwerp and made a puddle out of the two of them.

They looked really miserable, but somehow Robbe couldn’t care less as they were running to Sander’s house holding hands, water in their shoes, the sunflower cradled carefully underneath his shirt, huge smiles on their faces as they finally got there, tripping in their haste to get inside.

The hot shower that followed next and Sander taking the lead oh so well will definitely rank in the top 5 moments of Robbe’s life. He’s very grateful Sander’s parents are on holiday in London because he’s not sure he’d ever be able to look them in the eyes otherwise.

Sander’s only reply is a low chuckle and a kiss on that sweet spot under Robbe’s ear that never fails to send a shiver down his spine. Without barely having to move at all considering how close they are, he tilts his head and noses along Sander’s defined jaw, leaving a peck or two on his cheek.

“Now shush, I can’t focus.” He unceremoniously turns away from Sander’s searching lips, a sly grin on his face when he hears an affronted huff.

Robbe loves to be a little shit sometimes, especially if he wants to get a certain reaction from his huffy other half.

“Look how cute he is.” He has to press his lips hard to keep the giggle in when Sander whines in protest.

“Stoooop, why are you being mean to me.” He now has a full-blown pout on his face. “Jerk.”

The laughter finally comes out and Robbe pauses the show, cooing at Sander’s little frowny face and brushing the runaway strands away from his forehead, leaning up to press a kiss there too.

“It’s okay, I still think you’re the cutest prince in the entire kingdom.” He runs a thumb over his jutting lower lip, kissing it once, twice, three times, until the corners of Sander’s mouth pull up.

“Whatever. Simon is cuter than the other one anyway.”

Robbe grins cheekily. “You just think that because he has curly hair like me.” Sander’s jaw drops at that.

“Wow,” he exclaims, voice faux-scandalous as he shakes his head at Robbe. “Someone’s cocky today.”

“It’s my birthday so it’s allowed.” Winking at him obnoxiously, he turns back to the screen, hands reaching for Sander’s arms to wrap them around himself again as he settles in his embrace with a content sigh before pressing play.

Sander’s quiet behind him for a second, and then his lips touch his ear again, tongue slightly peeking out to play and lick the shell of his ear with just the tip, hot air hitting Robbe’s skin turning his insides into mush, butchering his focus again just as Sander purrs, “I think it’s hot when you’re like that.”

There’s something important happening on screen, but Robbe can’t make any sense of the subtitles because Sander’s lips continue their path down the column of his throat, stopping for a second to suck a kiss in the middle, killing any rational thought Robbe might have had. His hand rushes to Sander’s head to keep him there without his permission, eyes closing as he sighs when the kiss turns into licks and nips to the thin skin.

“Do you think he could kiss you and touch you like that?”

The question breaks the fog in Robbe’s brain for a second, and he barks a laugh at the slight possessiveness in Sander’s voice that’s poorly hidden under a joking tone.

“Like what?” He presses, excitement bubbling in his stomach when one of Sander’s hands sneaks underneath his t-shirt, fingers grazing the skin and leaving goosebumps in their wake as they finally reach the place Robbe needs them most.

“Like that.” He flicks his nipple with those black-polish covered nails of his that make him look so hot Robbe’s head spins. “For starters.” He keeps it up, tugging and pinching unhurriedly, with a dirty smirk growing on his face that Robbe can just feel on his collarbone, and he pulls on his hair as he arches his back a little, seeking more of those skillful fingers.

With his hooded eyes, he can see Sander closing the laptop and putting it away quickly before his other hand joins in the fun, a featherlight touch to the growing bulge in his sweatpants, nothing more than teasing for now.

When Sander’s teeth tug at his earring, Robbe lets out a frustrated whine because it’s too much and not enough at the same time, and his boyfriend reads him like a book because he pulls the t-shirt off him to gain full access, mouth latching on his neglected nipple just as his hand dives inside his pants. It doesn’t grant him any relief though, bypassing his dick completely and traveling lower, caressing the soft skin, one finger running back and forth without reaching any further, and Robbe grabs Sander’s thigh in desperation.

Patreon update

so... i figured i should do another one of these since ive now formally requested the translation of all the non-translated portions of the Hakumyu Kazama-hen extras... which means most of the funds ive earned on patreon since i had the translations commissioned for the non-translated portion of the LIVE extras, will now be going towards that.

In regards to that, @tofutortoise has been helping me with the subtitle timing for a lot of the LIVE extras (the file’s not done yet and im in the process of editing a significant portion of the lyrics as i have received permission to use someone’s translation of the LIVE lyrics), but since I didn’t pay to commission the translation of the hanetsuki, kakizome or recruitment call extras as they were already translated before (unless someone else wants to fund the cost of commissioning someone else to translate them, or if someone else wants to volunteer their time to translate them, i have limited funds so im obviously going to cut corners to save where i can, especially when it’s for a completely unnecessary expenditure), the file that I eventually stick the link for to the LJ fancom will not have them as I never received the permission to use them (i did try contact the individuals who translated the hanetsuki and kakizome extras but i havent gotten response... and it’s been more than a year. as for the recruitment/cast call... im assuming one of the parties i tried contacting translated it, though im not 100% of that since the video with english subtitles i found for it was on bilibili and couldn’t find out where it came from).

i’ll write something about this again once the LIVE extras file is ready... also i suppose the next extras files i’d look at getting english translations for would probably be saito-hen... as they’re significantly shorter than hijikata-hen’s? gonna take a really long time before i get the funds for any of those though as im currently in the red at -$38.43 for this stuff right now (for the record i chose LIVE first because there was the least amount to have translated then kazama-hen’s extras since that musical is my fave. after saito-hen and hijikata-hen though... i have no idea what i’d consider next, but i suppose it’d probably be whatever musical has the shortest extras, or requires the least amount of translating for?).

as for the thumb-sized samurai drama... the person i commissioned ended up doing a shit job since they used deep.tl [the document they sent me literally said “Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)”] and it would be a vast understatement to say that i wasnt pissed off as i havent been willing to even consider getting someone else to translate the last 3 tracks translated since.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. I would say that with grammar it’s never really too early to start (and I do know there are people that really like to nail down some basic grammar points), but you might benefit more from already having a bit of a vocabulary - or rather building up grammar and vocabulary at the same time. This is really a personal preference thing, although I would say I did focus heavily on vocabulary and wish I had studied more grammar alongside it.

A skill you’re going to need to practice a lot is listening though. This means introducing Russian music to your playlists (or having exclusively Russian music playlists). It means watching videos in Russian (without subtitles!) even if you don’t understand what’s being said. Finding beginner podcasts will help you a lot, as will introducing a lot of Russian youtube channels that focus on teaching the language. Listening is the skill which will really help the other skills fall into place. It’s also the skill you need to practice the most (as in it takes you longer to make developments in it compared to other skills). The earliest you start developing your listening skills the better.

When you listen to the language a lot you’ll be able to hear it as actual words rather than a rush of noise. Russians can drop sounds, shorten words, and speak very fast. Getting used to hearing Russian without understanding it, and accepting that you don’t understand it will make it a lot easier. You’ll begin to develop the skill of being able to pick the words apart, and slowly pick up grammatical constructions and vocabulary. You’ll get a feel for the way Russians play about with their words, and just get used to different talking speeds. When we have subtitles we tend to focus on reading, making it more of a reading exercise than training our ears. That being said ‘Easy Russian’ can be a pretty good resource.

I’ve been watching a playthrough of someone playing ‘Thief: Master Thief’, because even the in-game audio is in Russian (not all games Russians have access to work that way). While I don’t understand what’s being said I have found that just listening to it has helped a lot, and I have been picking up some vocabulary (and insults) here and there. Game playthroughs aren’t everyone’s cup of tea though, so I mean finding the content you like will make this a lot easier.

I have a Russian Cases cheatsheet [here], I think having this handy and referring to this as you’re developing your vocabulary would help you a lot. Because being able to understand the Cases will really make a lot of things easier for you.

If you’re struggling with knowing what to do then I would recommend using a resource that has a more structured course to go through. This will make the process less daunting and can give you specific areas to focus on.

The New Penguin Russian Course: A Complete Course for Beginners is a really good book. You can find a free (and legal!) PDF version on Archive.Org [here]. It’s slightly dated in its references but the explanations, exercises, and the texts it gets you to read are really interesting.

Real Russian Club: From Zero to Fluency [here] this covers a lot of really good points, and she has a lot of other great videos on her channel.

Russky.Info [here] is designed to go from A0 to A2, there’s a lot of content to learn from.

Memrise [here] has a lot of beginner Russian courses. I would recommend using the desktop version (unless you’re willing to pay for a resource, then I would say the app is worth it). They use videos of real Russian natives to introduce you to vocabulary and phrases. On the app (not sure about desktop) they have an immersion feature, which is kind of like Russian TikTok's dedicated around vocabulary. It’s very short simple videos with Russian subtitles (and the ability to switch to English) showing how words can be used in different contexts and so on. While it’s very light on grammar, I would say it’s a good way to get listening practice and learn some immediately useful vocabulary.

Busuu [here] is also a good resource. Some of it is free, but I would say if you’re using it to upgrade to a premium version. As this will allow you to post answers to some Russian questions and get feedback from actual Russians - it even lets you post recordings and to get feedback on your speaking. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really let you post any kind of writing exercise that you want but the exercises that it gives you will still be good practice.

ok let me see if i’m ready for this.and if you’re ready for this.

first of all:

here are some trigger warnings for the drama (you can tell me more). and you can watch this drama on youtube (it has subtitles for different languages) or on your netflix,if they have it in your country!

LET’S HAVE A LOOK. (sorry if i have any mistakes, this took a long time and it’s late lmao)

the gays: not gonna lie. this is the thing that caught my attention. before you ask, it’s NOT on screen, even if the source is canonically gay (aka, the two main characters are in a relationship) but they can’t do that because it’s on China, and the laws are homophobic. But even with the censorship breathing in their necks, the romance of their relationship is on screen. If they added a kiss in the end, nobody can say that “that didn’t make sense” because the whole relationship. dialogue, symbolism, parallelism….that’s. without words. thats romance. that hits you in the face even if you don’t want to see it. they can’t have some of the romantic scenes in the book but they added romantic scenes in the drama….i can’t with them. with or without the laws allowing them, the story TELLS YOU that they are soulmates. anyways, i have some issues with the actual source of this material (the book) as a queer person, but i didn’t find anything bad in the drama. and the female characters have a better presence in the drama than in the book. which…thank you so much. i can’t not explain a lot of this because i haven’t finished the book yet, but if there’s anyone willing to comment, please do.

the plot: you know the idea that if ur gay ur gonna watch whatever because there’s gays on it? well, you know that that’s not how thinks should work, because we all watched some trash over the years only for the gays. this, thankfully, is not the case. this is a GOOD fantasy story. it’s an amazing world building, with heartbreaking arcs and so many interesting developments. moral codes, rules of society, justice, ties between people & revenge, all in 50 episodes. the idea of “what’s wrong? what’s right?” really sells the story. i cried, i hated, i loved, i was confused over my own feelings, i was shocked….i can talk with friends SO many things about this show and never get tired, even without talking about the romantic bond.

good characters: i can not really get into this without giving spoilers, but i can say that i could do ESSAYS for MANY characters of this drama. each character touches different aspects of humanity and even if i hate some of them, i’m in love with how they are potrayed and their developments. they are flawed, they are all different, they can not be analyzed in only one way and maybe that’s why im so fascinated with how deep they are.

sibling bonding: THIS POINT HAS ME SCREAMING EVERY TIME. honestly, this is my weakness. There’s so many sibling relationships in this drama that represent very different ways to be siblings, all of them complex, real and beautifully made. as someone with siblings that i would give my life for, this part really speaks to me and makes me wanna cry every time. And something that caughts my attention is thats one of the first things that everyone wants to talk about when they watch the untamed, because its THAT good.

places & costumes: the places, the cinematography, the colors, the aesthetic and the costumes of each character are SO beautiful. sometimes i got distracted by the scenary because it’s just amazing. the buildings, the cities, the nature and how they are used to give different reactions on the viewer? ugh. so good.

the soundtrack: OH you thought that these bitches are fighting with instruments and they wouldn’t have a soundtrack??? ur wrong. a lot of the characters have One song representing their struggles and relationships. Let me tell you: you WILL cry, because they’re beautiful and the lyrics are very touching. But also, watch it after you end the drama if you want, because they can be spoilery.

my attention span: so. i started this drama when i was in a very bad mental place, and i wasn’t enjoying anything in my life at that point and part of that is that i couldn’t pay attention to anything, because nothing grabbed my attention. but this worked! it really helped me to distracted myself from things and take my mind somewhere else. so, you can try it as well. if you have a similar experience, place share it!

the team: i just. have such a big love for everyone who make this possible? you know when you consume something and witht the time, you realize things and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth? that didn’t happend with this one. everything that came out from the team, or the cast itself, was only wonderful to hear. they actually cared for this project and everyone is so in love with it, everyone cares so much about their work. they made this work even with homophobic censorship, and told an amazing story.it’s obvious, listening to the main cast that they KNOW that this is a story involving a gay relationship and they had that in mind when they acted and speak afterwards (and yes, specifically the actors of those characters) i can not thank them enough, especially knowing on the risks that they took for this.

Hey Im currently trying to learn norwegian aswell. But I find it kind of hard since the most efficient way of learning for me is listening to audio books or watching movies/tv-shows in that language. But norwegians usually watch everything in english. How did you deal with that? Did you mostly learn with books and rehearsing Vocabulary?

Heya :) You can watch Norwegian TV shows on NRK TV (a lot of them aren’t available outside Norway but I enjoy Evig Ung, Dialektriket and Blank). I Kveld Med Ylvis is a popular chat show you can find on youtube with English subtitles. All the Harry Potter audiobooks on are youtube as well as The Hobbit too. If you’re willing to pay a little you can also use ebok.no to buy Norwegian audiobooks. A very kind person whose username currently escapes me recently uploaded a folder with some Norwegian-dubbed children’s movies that you can find here. NRK radio is also available online and in app form and you can get several podcasts for free - my favourites are Språkteigen and Kulturhus. You may find Norsk Lærer Karense very helpful too - she explains Norwegian grammar entirely in Norwegian, but she speaks very clearly so it’s easy to follow along :)

Other ways I learn: listening/singing along to Norwegian music and translating the lyrics (if you search norsk + whatever genre you’re into on spotify you’ll get plenty of playlists!), Duolingo (not that I’ve used it in forever because I cba with crown levels like at all), reading Harry Potter, learning vocab, reading articles/recipes on the NRK website, talking to my cats, writing short blog entries in Norwegian, and yeah I have books too :)

hi im, uh VERY new to touken ranbu. like i only heard abt it bc someone i follow started reblogging stuff abt it. my japanese is subpar really & a lot of buying and watching these things seem pretty difficult for me.but im willing to give it a shot! honestly i think my best bet is to just buy the dvds when i can but theyre p expensive so i just want to be sure of what im buying. r all the things listed in ur masterlist separate stageplay/musicals. and is it worth it to save up so much to buy em?

Hi, welcome to the fandom! Once you enter, you can’t go back, so be careful! xD

Whether it’s the stage plays or he musical, yes, the DVDS or BDs are pretty pricey. And if you have to add shipping fees and import fees to the bill, buying them becomes a real hassle. Thankfully it has become a lot easier to purchase the DVDs/BDs as international fans, so fortunately proxy fees have (in most cases) become an issue of the past.

Is it worth it? If you ask this to a fan, they’ll probably tell you: Yes, of course! So, that pretty much what I will tell you. I have completely fallen in love with all these guys, so to me these DVDs/BDs are worth every cent I pay. Aside from the main performance, most releases also come with some great bonus video footage. Lastly, if you do own a BD player, I recommend paying just that little bit extra to buy the Blu-Ray instead of the DVD. Watching everything in HD makes it only better! Also, to put the price in perspective. The DVDs/BDs are about as expensive as ticket to the show itself, so… if you don’t view it as paying 8500 yen for a DVD, but as 8500 yen to see a musical, the price isn’t actually all that bad. (At least to me.) The language barrier can of course be a reason to refrain from buying the DVDs, but… there was a time I didn’t understand any Japanese either and it didn’t keep me from buying and enjoying Japanese musicals, so…

Alternatively, if you can’t afford to buy the DVDs, but still wish to watch the shows (semi-)legally, you can turn to DMM to rent the streams of the main performances. Unfortunately DMM is a Japan-only service, but it’s relatively easy to work your way around this region block. If you need more information on how to use DMM’s service as an international fan. Please check here!

Hey guys, so i’m not sure how to format this, but i need somewhere to put this where i can get some help.

So, if you know me irl, or you read any of my more serious tags, you probably know that I’m disabled. I’ve been professionally diagnosed with a long list of things, no idea what i have and what was a misdiagnosis, no way to tell because symptoms between them overlap so heavily it could be either, or, or both. Who knows. The total list, as of this year is Autism spectrum disorder, major depression presenting with psychotic symptoms, generalized anxiety disorder, attention deficit disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, gender dysphoria, and two specific phobia: one of heights, and one of needles. All are under some form of medication or theraputic treatment, and have been for years, with only minor progress on anything but the PTSD, I am at least being kept out of crisis-mode and have not attempted suicide for almost a year, so it could always be worse.

The situation is, my family is pushing me to get a job. My mother is pushing the angle that its for my independence and self-esteem, my father is pushing the angle that its my responsibility. I recently turned 21, so i need to either find work, or get on disability and stop asking them for things. Either way, they have made it clear to me that it is unacceptable that i am 21 now and have no work history or source of income. The issues with this come in three flavours: i cannot drive, and i cannot care for myself without regular supervision, and i have little in the way of marketable skills or skillsets. Not to mention the standard mental illness difficulties.

The mental problems come in the standard “autistic with sensory issues” fare. I cant be around bright lights or loud noises, anything brighter than a fluorescent office light is too much, and even with those i often need sunglasses. Loud or sudden noises, anything above say, the level of a car-door shutting is too much and sustained sounds above the level of a printer are intolerable enough that i cannot think around them, freezing up or outright attempting to curl in and cover my ears/face/front and getting nothing done. Being allowed to wear noise-cancelling headphones helps, but muffles conversation to a point i cant understand others. Being around people for more than 4 hours a day, 5 if i push it and am willing to be irritable and upset for the rest of the day is my limit. I have difficulty understanding speech over digital media if i cant watch the lips of whoever is speaking, or be provided with subtitles or a transcript. Telephone-based jobs are right out thanks to this particular issue. I have difficulty holding attention, and cant process complex commands well, or deal with things that aren’t sequenced. I don’t deal well with other peoples emotions, and barely cope with my own. I cannot think of any job that would tolerate a worker like this in your standard retail/restaurant/gas-station entry-level, or anywhere that takes workers without a resume, or anything to put on one did they have one.

Driving, which requires many tasks (keeping track of your hands, both of your feet, the speed, the road lines, other cars, road signs, stoplights, the mirrors, the gas, etc), is impossible for me without risking my life or another drivers. I live rurally, and with no public transport to speak of in my area, I have to rely on my parents to get me places. Their schedules are rotating, and at odd hours of the day, and i have to budget for two hours around their schedules to get me to and from college. With the schedule i have now, and their schedules to work around, i cannot find any work during the week, leaving the few days of the weekend being necessary to find work on. But even this is limited, as I cant go far from home, and I still have to work around my parents rotating schedules since they frequently work weekends.

The usual recommendation at this point is to move somewhere with transportation, but here’s the real kicker. I cannot care for myself on my own. I cannot, on my own power, remember to eat, drink, bathe, or sleep properly. I cannot get my medications in without reminders and double-checks. I have difficulty with any amount of flexibility in a schedule, as i get lost when i cannot check either of my watches and know where i should be and what i should be doing, and will instead simply scroll through blogs or edit code or mod games for hours on end, doing nothing productive or useful. I cannot enforce a schedule myself, and any attempts at reminders through technology or mundane means have repeatedly failed. Ive utilized calendars, day planners, sticky notes, alarm clocks, watches, cellphone reminders, other people calling me to check if ive done something, and any other number of methods. Without another living being hounding after me to get something done, it slips my mind.

At this point, i’m usually asked, in disbelief, how someone can forget to eat. It’s simple, i do not feel hunger until i am in physical pain from it, and often only eat one meal a day as a result of packing a meal and just, grabbing something out of the bag as i see other people eating. Often, this gets to a point where i forget to eat so long that i wind up in pain. This, as most people know, disinclines one from eating. You hurt, you’re tired, and you feel nauseous, you likely do not want to eat anything thanks to this, and simply want to go to bed. I have been hospitalized before for winding up in such a condition that i couldn’t stand thanks to this odd spiral of not eating. The same goes for drinking. I am lucky if i get more than 10 ounces of fluids in in a day separate from any snacks i might have shoved in a bag or pocket or other carry-able container. It is a wonder I am not sicker than i am regularly.

regardless, the point is made, i have extreme difficulty with remembering and motivating myself to preform basic daily activities, and will often do without to the point i sicken myself if left to my own devices. I assume it is like living with a large, depressed, child. I assume it is unpleasant, irritating, and difficult living with someone with these issues, and can think of no one who would willingly take care of someone they are living with to this degree short of a spouse or the parents of the person. Seeing as i am not exactly a catch for marriage given my life difficulties, lack of income, and lack of looks, and cannot live on my own, im rather stuck in a poor, rural area, with few job opportunities and even fewer that wouldnt essentially be working in hell for someone like me.

Im certain, by this point, if youre still reading, you understand why im having difficulty finding a job i would want to put myself in, or even be able to tolerate. All of the career options ive considered, that i think i might be happy in, require a degree (which requires money we dont have, and years of student loans, and a job in the interim while you earn the degree), or are too far away, or require a cost upfront (such as starting a home business, or taking up a trade where you have to buy your own materials [any type of craft work]), or simply have skillsets that i can only do part of and would be incompetent to outright incapable of the rest of the skillset.

the longer I think about this, the more depressed and frozen i become, and the less and less it feels like i have any options. I’m at a point in my life where i have been unhappy and stressed and frequently outright suicidal too damn often, and i refuse to even potentially put myself in a place where i risk becoming that again. I dont know how to get past that and force myself to take a standard job. I do not know if i have any other options, with my lack of skills and mostly useless talents. I do not know how to run a buisiness, or have to cost for materials and real trainign needed to learn a craft, or the ability to run off my wn schedule that working from home would require.

i feel like i have no options. I do not want to continue this. I do not want to have no options. I do not want to be here. i do not know how to make this stop. i do not know how i can be 21 and be incompetent enough that i cannot find any sort of work i would be suited for. i do not understand how someone could end up with no motivation or skills or any amount of ability to make money. I do not understand. I do not know how to fix this. Threapy is not helping, medication is not helping, support (what little i can get of it) is not helping, i do not know how to become competent. i do not know how to become a person. i do not know how to get money at a price i am willing to pay or even can pay. I do not understand.

Food stamps for people on low incomes would be cut over the next 10 years under the White House plan and the families of undocumented workers would be frozen out of key tax breaks.

We are no longer going to measure compassion by the number of programmes or the number of people on those programmes, budget director Mick Mulvaney told reporters. Were going to measure compassion and success by the number of people we help get off of those programmes to get back in charge of their own lives. Were not going to measure our success by how much money we spend but by how many people we actually help.

The Trump blueprint is unlikely to become law because it will face opposition from both moderate Republicans and Democrats worried about its social impact and from fiscal conservatives who fear it will increase the deficit.

Chuck Schumer, Democratic minority leader in the Senate, condemned the proposed cuts to Medicaid. This would pull the rug out from so many Americans who need help: those suffering from opioid and heroin addiction, people in nursing homes and their families who care for them, the elderly, the disabled, and children, he said on the Senate floor. Medicaid helps not only the poor but increasingly the middle class, as well as 1.75m veterans, Schumer added. Heres what candidate Trump said when he campaigned: Im not going to cut social security like every other Republican and Im not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid. He promised he would help take care of those suffering from opioid addiction. If it cuts Medicaid, hes breaking that promise right in half.

Economic experts were also quick to dismiss Mulvaneys claims that Trumps tax plans and budget would boost economic growth to 3%, balancing the federal budget within a decade.

Although Trump is an unconventional president, the budget shares much with the conservative orthodoxy of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher. It is entitled A New Foundation for American Greatness and Mulvaney said if he had a subtitle it would be, The taxpayer first budget.

Cuts to Medicaid over the next decade exceed even the more than the $800bn reductions contained in a health bill passed by the House of Representatives earlier this month.

The president also aims to slash welfare by $274bn over a decade, including $193bn on food stamps, driving millions of people off the programme. This would be several times bigger than cuts attempted by House Republicans in the past. The number of people claiming food stamps spiked to 47m people at the height of the 2007-08 recession and had not come down as expected, still totalling 44m people, Mulvaney said, despite near full employment in the US.

Some $72bn over 10 years would come from social securitys disability insurance programme, including $50bn in savings which would be achieved by helping recipients get off the programme and find a job.

Mulvaney continued: If youre on food stamps and youre able bodied, we need you to go to work. If youre on disability insurance and youre not supposed to be, if youre not truly disabled, we need you to go back to work.

He added: Theres a dignity to work and theres a necessity to work to help the country and succeed and we need everybody to pull in the same direction.

The Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Credit would be limited to those who are authorised to work in the US. They would be required to show proof of a social security number a move that would have a negative impact on children who are US citizens but whose parents are undocumented.

I could ask you for your money I think, in good faith and good conscience, and say, Look, I need to take some of your money and give it to this family, who deserves the Child Tax Credit, but I cant do it to give the Earned Income Tax Credit, which is designed to help folks who work, to give it somebody whos in the country and working illegally. Its just not fair. Its not right when you look at it through the perspective of the people paying the taxes.

Trump would also reduce federal employee pensions and farm subsidies while keeping campaign pledges to leave core Medicare and social security benefits for the elderly untouched.

He also promised a groundbreaking proposal to provide six weeks of paid family leave to new mothers and fathers, including adoptive parents, championed by Trumps daughter, Ivanka, and costing $25bn over 10 years.

Mulvaney confirmed that the budget plan defunds Planned Parenthood, on the premise that the American Health Care Act will become law, and winds down the support for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which feeds the money to outlets such as the Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio.

The blueprint also shaves 31.4% off funding for the Environmental Protection Agency and 29.1% off that for the state department and other international programmes.

The cuts to domestic spending would be redirected to the US military, law enforcement and supporting veterans. It allocates $2.6bn to border security, including $1.6bn for the bricks and mortar construction of a wall on the Mexican border, with the remaining $1m allotted to technology and infrastructure.

But the plan a wish list to fund the Trump agenda faces numerous hurdles. The healthcare bill is likely to undergo significant changes in the Senate while a rewrite of the tax code only has a broad outline so far. It also makes assumptions about growth.

Mulvaney said Trumps package of spending cuts and tax breaks would boost the USs economys growth rate to 3% over the next decade, a considerable increase from the 1.9% forecast under current policy by the Congressional Budget Office.

The director, due to testify to the House and Senate this week, said: I think what Trumponomics is and what this budget is a part of is an effort to get to sustained 3% economic growth in this country again. I think its sad that the previous administration was willing to admit that we couldnt get better than 1.9% growth over the next 10 years … That assumes a pessimism about America, about the economy, about its people, about its culture that were simply refusing to accept. We believe that we can get to 3% growth.

But economists were skeptical of the claim. Gus Faucher, PNC Financial Services chief economist said US productivity growth had averaged 1.75% over the last 45 years and that the period between the late 1990s and early 2000s when growth topped 3% was the exception. Its asking a lot to expect the exception not the rule, said Faucher.

Marc Goldwein, head of policy at non-partisan thinktank Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget said the budgets numbers did not add up. He said Mulvaneys promise of returning to the 3% growth rates were unrealistic at best.

We are not bringing the 90s back, he said. Three percent was normal then because the baby boomers were in their prime and we had a tech boom. Now baby boomers are aging out of the workforce and the tech booms impact has fizzled, Trumps budget would likely add decimal points not percentage points to US growth, he said.

This is like pretending you have won the lottery when all you have is a handful of scratch cards, he said.
