Eddie was lost. Completely and utterly, with nowhere to turn. He couldn’t talk to Wayne about this shit. He couldn’t talk to any of the kids, fucking obviously. He definitely couldn’t talk to Robin. He couldn’t even talk to Gareth or Jeff about it, not when they always called at night when Steve was already bundled up in his bed. Not to mention he couldn’t even imagine admitting the shit that was happening out loud, especially when it made him look like the biggest pervert to ever exist.

The person he wanted to talk to the most, who he needed to talk to the most, was Steve. Steve, his best friend, light of his life, bane of his existence, the only thing he could fucking think about anymore.

Outside of the nightmares. Because those were back, shit he hadn’t thought about in a year plus. His bad dreams had been replaced by images of demons and getting eaten alive, his real past taking a back seat for all of the supernatural crap. But now it was back with a vengeance, memories morphing into night terrors, all about the people he hated most in the world.

The timing of it made him feel sick.

Eddie wasn’t like his parents. He wasn’t. They were complete shitheads. Asshole cunts who were high seventy percent of the time and then pure hateful the other thirty. They always had been, for as long as he could remember. They treated him with contempt from day one, like it was his fault their lives were trash. Like he made the dipshits have him when they were nineteen. God, he despised them. He hated his childhood. He hated how it still fucking bothered him, the things he remembered.

How Eddie was never allowed to have friends stay over. What happened the one time he did, the way his mom overreacted.

What they did to him after.

He loathed the residual fear over something that he should have been over years ago. It was as infuriating as it was depressing. Worst of all, he hated how he was making it Steve’s problem. Because now he was the one waking Steve up at night. The man could sleep through his sex dreams and humping Eddie’s leg no problem. But the moment Eddie would shoot up in bed, his heart racing as he gasped awake, Steve would be right there with him.

no but really. NO for rent bug fixes in this last patch? the goth kit is the biggest disappointment i think ive EVER seen kit-wise. the googly eyed sims? they can't even make a kit without breaking shit?

without this community and the immense joy i get from downloading, making and using cc id be so gone so long ago. i feel no joy about trying out the for rent gp because im still so scared its going to cause corruption as it has for some others. im not even going to touch it.

its been years since this game was in an actually decent state lol. yeah im still bitter about the toddler face bug. THAT WAS YEARS. tbh after that my relationship with playing this game has never been the same. i just dont trust the game to not implode and break at every possible moment

Art school sucks: A rant (2/2)

A conclusion: Art school killed my inner artist. Graduating was the best thing that's happened to me. And education should have never been turned into a business. An update: Even though I've only graduated a few weeks ago, I'm already feeling the change. I feel like I can draw things that don't have to do with my studied subject without feeling guilty. I've gotten into anime and started developing my own style so much more efficiently now- The classes I've followed (none of which were optional) never valued work that you'd do outside of that subject. You're on architecture? You like painting flowers? Too bad, they're probably not gonna care, or even blame you for putting your energy into a different style instead of working on your homework themes. Some advice?: Don't kill the part of you that's cringe, kill the part of you that cringes. You're at an art school and hate your subject? Do the bare minimum and work on the art you love in your spare time. Your teachers aren't appreciating your style? Risk a lower grade for a lifetime of inner peace. They're being condescending towards you for having an artstyle that isn't appropriate for your profile? Either hide it from them and post it online, find your own community, or do what I did and be even more obnoxious about it. They're either gonna learn to live with it- or not. Their choice.

Working on a project

So to continue my art-parade I want to publish a teeny-tiny part of the thing I've been working on for some time.

I really wanted to start doing storyboards for some fanfics that I've read and finally started when Chapter 15 of Verde Vision by @emi-g came out. I started writing sort of screen play of the chapter (which I still haven't finished) to describe to myself how I wanted the frames of storyboard to look.

Here's the only example of a "storyboard" I can provide to you. It was drawn kind of hastily just to show what I had in mind.

And here's the corresponding part in the screenplay.

So what I have in mind for this whole screenplay is to be a kind of adaptation of Verde Vision to series (where each or so chapter is a single episode). This means I can't actually show in the scene what characters think and "emulate" the narrator which is present in the writing. Well, I can, but I thought about more of a realistic approach to this, so that it is more challenging than just showing flashbacks and/or telling outwardly what everyone feels.

So what I showed above is how I imagine the opening scene of Chapter 15 can be. I just use here a small "montage" to show the absence of Bruno in school with Esme.

I really want to continue drawing and writing but this is kind of conflicting with what I have to do for college and work so uh

THE house

Another short fic. In between s9 and IWTB

Three years have gone by since Mulder and Scully had been on the run. They never stayed in a place for too long, afraid there was still an ongoing search for them.

Finally they caught a break. Skinner phoned Scully to tell her there was no longer a search to worry about and as long as Mulder made no attempt to enter the J.Edgar Hoover building.

This news excited Scully. Over the years she yearned for stability. She wanted to return to medicine, to cook in her own kitchen, and to have a home with Mulder.

“Mulder, Skinner called to say we can stop running” Scully said through a smile with a single tear running down her left cheek.

Mulder had a thousand thoughts running through his head but all he could say was “So is the basement off limits or is that too much of an ask?”

This made Scully chuckle, “Since you mentioned it, that’s the one request the FBI made is that you are not allowed on the premises.”

“I had no intentions of stepping foot on those grounds Scully, I just wanted to see you laugh.”

“You know Mulder I have known about this for a few days and wanted to surprise you. I made an appointment to go look at home that I think would be perfect for the two of us.” Scully said as she pulled Mulder closer to her.

“And I was just getting to like this motel” Mulder said as he placed a soft kiss upon Scully’s lips.”

*A week later they met the realtor at the soon to be known unremarkable house*

“Scully this doesn’t seem like the type of home you would pick out for us.” Mulder said as he drove their SUV up the unpaved driveway.

“Sure it is Mulder,” she said grabbing his hand and placing a kiss.

“Remember when you said if you were to settle down you’d live in a place away from the city, a place where you do not have to lock your doors, no faxes, modems, or cell phones.”

“I can’t believe you remember that Scully,” Mulder said squeezing her hand tighter, a toothy smile on his face.

“I remember Mulder and I want the same thing” Scully says as she releases her seatbelt.

The realtor is waiting for them in the porch, “You’re both really going to love this home. It may need some updating, but with the land it sits on and the size of the home it’s quite a deal.” The realtor says shaking both Mulder and Scully’s hands, introducing themselves.

The home is the perfect size for them. It's white with a roof that appears to be in good condition, and a wrap around porch, perfect reading the paper and drinking coffee.

They enter the home and a flood of emotions runs through them both as they imagine their future life here. They don’t express it verbally but the smiles laid across their faces tell it all.

As they tour the home Mulder finds a room he knows would be perfect for his office, he has already picked the wall the wants to place an I Want To Believe poster. They are both pleased by the sizes of the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom.

There is an extra room located at the top of the stairs they know would be perfect for a child.

Neither of them acknowledge what the other is thinking. They haven’t spoken of William much over the years. The pain and guilt is almost to much to for either one of them to bear.

Sensing the emotions silently flooding out of both of them, Mulder pulls Scully towards him. Placing a kiss on her forehead. “ Scully I think this house is made just for us,” Mulder says trying to distract them both from thoughts about William.

“Me too,” Scully says. “I saw a Catholic Hospital in town. Our Lady of Sorrows, I believe was the name. I would really enjoy practicing medicine again” she tell him.

They both meet up with the realtor downstairs, who was giving them their space to tour the home.

“We would like to make an offer,” Mulder says.
