9. worst part of canon: we all know about this... taka(+orochimaru)s characterization thrown away in the war for jokes or to act as plot devices... i fear i may never forgive kishimoto. the atmosphere wasnt so tense that we needed karin to be crazy about sasuke again + that overt about wanting sasuke to bite her (?!). why is suigetsu acting like he wasnt captured and experimented on by orochimaru but worked for him like karin. why is juugo acting like sasuke is kimimaro when he clearly made the difference before. orochimarus weirdass change of heart because we needed the hokages to show up. or even suigetsu randomly stumbling upon a convenient scroll detailing how to undo shiki fuujin and his first thought (before he meets sasuke again) is to pocket it because it would be useful for sasuke?? like why was it in suigetsus hideout of all places. why does suigetsu even know what it means. im sorry i just dont think orochimaru discussed the matter of his arms & the first 4 hokages souls over the vivisection table and i dont believe sasuke ever brought it up during hebitaka because WHY WOULD HEEE. etc etc etc like am i making sense? they really are just there to move the plot along and play out a joke once in a while. nothing about what happened when taka separated matters at all in the war theyre barely even characters

10. worst part of fanon: 100% the tendency to make everyone friends i think its so boring!!! like in what world are taka invited to karuis wedding? in what world is karin a guest star on the real housewives of konoha (=joining them for brunch). what exactly do temari and karin have in common other than both having the Kishimoto Woman Personality Type #1.

its so much more fun to have characters who just cant stand each other. naruto dislikes taka for literally no reason and its hilarious we should keep it that way. no way im ever believing karui genuinely befriends sakura i think they should HATE having to see each other all the time because their girls are besties. it will always feel more natural &balanced to me + im more inclined to believe 2 characters whove never talked to each other could be great friends if youve also considered who they DONT mesh with at all.

Ida would schedule times to hang out with you when he's free. Not because he like hates you or smth but he just has a very set schedule he likes to stick to. If you want to hang out outside of the set time then most likely it'll turn into a study date.

Denki is a yapper and he often yaps about you. His poor friends have to deal with him mentioning you constantly. Something completely random comes up and he's going "Oh I remember y/n was talking about that one time, speaking of them..." he's a simple man you loves his partner.

Tokoyami is a drawer I feel. He'd have a sketch book/journal he carries around for sure. In a not creepy way he'd draw yiu a lot. Like a muse kind of way. He'd never show you butbthen you find it and he has to explain how he just finds you so perfect and then after that he shows you his drawings.

Bakugo would definitely not even realize how in love with you he is untill kirishima or someone mentions it and then he's noticing how different he acts with you. Have him tied around you damn finger.

Ida definitely wakes up hella early to exercise and specifically run (obviously). He'll try to get you to wake up early to but often times he wants to wake up way to early. You just kiss him goodbye most mornings and fall promptly back to sleep.

Tokoyami is a poet I bet. Or at least a song writer which is basically the same thing. His muse? You. In his journel/sketch book he has poems along with the drawings. Another thing he's probably embarrassed about bit high key he's just in love. He has so much to say but is too embarrassed to say it.

Denki would love to share headphones with you. I fear his tase in music would either be shit or the best in the planet. If it's bad you help him shape it to be better. He'd love to keep his in during class so then he can think about you isntead of whatever boring thing you are getting taught. Also I fear he'd forget to charge them all the time.

Bakugo is the type of guy to tell you no while simultaneously doing it. Like you ask him "could you get me a glass of water?" "No is already getting up to get a glass" or he'd tell you know and wait all of 15 seconds before doing it for you.

Denki when he gets nervous will let out little zaps on accident. As most the tickle or leave a slight sting but nothing crazy. So for your first kiss he's freaking out, obviously, and accidently zaps you. Face is bright red and he's now embarrassed for the rest of his life. Definitely wants to go die in a hole but when you start laughing and kiss him anyway he's fine.

Tokoyami would also like to share earbuds with you but like I said before his music taste is immaculate. Personally I like Korn and maybe im biased but I think he'd like that band to. And just all around metal/rock bands. But also just good music in general. Unlike denki he'd charge his earbuds religiously. He'd die without his music same bro.

Bakugo after a hard day of training would go straight to your dorm. Somehow he thinks it's way more comfortable then his. He just plop down on your bed before a shower before changing clothes anything. Which would be ew but he'd eventually do all that but first he needs a kiss and small cuddle with his partner first.

Ida would look up relationship stuff. This is probably cringe but like I fear he'd get nervous about his first relationship and then all the sudden he's looking up "how long should you date before you kiss your partner?" Eventually he realizes he just needs to take everything at his own speed.

• growing up you’ve always been told to keep your feelings to yourself because it’s a “hush hush” type thing (mainly because of your parents)

• even before you and blitz started dating you always kept things buried inside. you’re a typical yapper, but go completely non verbal whenever you’re going through some things

• blitz being blitz, he didn’t pay attention to it at first until he made a joke one day that may or may not made you cry in the bathroom

“thank satan you stopped talking, you were driving me crazy.”

you abruptly left the meeting room and locked yourself in the bathroom, leaving blitz to himself like, “wtf did i even say”

• later on he asked you about it, being like “did i say something orrr” and you told him you were already having a shitty day and that’s when the dots connected. “well if you ever need to spill your heart out you can.”

• you appreciated it, but didn’t want to feel like a burden to him since he already has his problems.

• years later, you two started a serious relationship. he trusted you already, so he wasn’t afraid to talk to you about his stuff (you had to pesterize him for it, but he did managed to tell you things)

• you on the other hand was still afraid of being a burden to him. you didn’t want him to think that you’re too much for him to handle so you kept things to yourself.

• blitz still caught on that you’re not being honest about your feelings, so he would ask you allll the time.

“i’m fine, okay? im fine. don’t worry about me.”

“just tell me what’s going on.”

“i’m just tired.”

“bullshit and you know it.”

•after arguing back and forth you finally told him what’s been bothering you, which consisted of people being shitty to you in the past and how their words still affect you to this day, your own thoughts haunting you, anxiety, etc.

• blitz understood 100% about what you were getting at and he told you that he won’t ever think of you as a burden and that you shouldn’t be afraid to talk to him about things

“but you already have your own stuff to deal with, i don’t want to be added on your plate.”

“and you were always there when i needed you and i want to be there for you.”

• he comforted you as many times as he could. whenever you’re not talking or slouching in chairs he’ll take your hand into his wherever you guys are at. in a meeting and sees that you’re not okay? he’ll sit beside of you and hold your hand while continuing to talk. Time seems to be more calm, the last update he was at the verge of screaming (to shut them all? to call for help to control all these links? who knows) now he looks very thoughtful, taking in every detail of the whole place to see if he can get some sort of puzzle solved

This question i feel like it has more impact that it looks at first, a lot of people are pointing out the little owl friend we saw at the first doodles of the AU, yeah the owl in oot was a yapper in all rule, but he was some sort of guidance during his journey

Twilight connects the owls to Shad, a guy who has a lot of knowledge and can help him at any moment if he needs some sort of information, Four remembers the owl that helped the colors during his second adventure, and Legend connects the owls to the statues in Koholint, together with the owl that gave him hints to where he had to go

Here it is made clear the point that i was talking before: Time recognizes that even if, for a kid, it was just an anoying bird, he helped him in some sort of way, and he should appreciated that small detail

putting that joke aside, Hyrule seems to be more careful inside a dungeon, sure he can try and explore all he wants outside, but he knows very well the dangers of a dungeon, and he would like to no take any risk that could put them in danger while he can help it

Warriors during his adventure he made friends with the fairies, so he obviously will have something for her

Okay, getting us started we have Jungsu. First things first, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He would always want to make sure you’re heard and appreciated, so he’s more than willing to let you ramble on about the things you enjoy. He would ask questions, put in a few words of his own if he felt like it- but for the most part, he would just gaze at you with a soft smile, fondly listening to you go on and on about your subject of choice. And he would remember it forever too. Expect gifts based on this fixation of yours. He’s probably taking mental notes as you talk and writing things down later.

Next we have Hyeongjun and Seungmin. Both great listeners, but I feel like if they didn’t know much about the subject they wouldn’t know what to say? They would love to ask you questions and give you more to talk about, but they aren’t really sure where to start. Hyeongjun is a little higher than Seungmin in my eyes, simply because his quiet personality makes me believe he’s a great listener- but they could truly be tied for second here.

Next is Jiseok and Jooyeon. Again, they could be flipped around, but hear me out for a second: Jiseok strikes me as the type to go all in on conversations about your passions. He would be great- asking questions, following along, and being willing to learn… but then one thing you said would remind him of something else, and the conversation would probably derail quickly. The same with Jooyeon, but especially if he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. He’s still happy to listen- don’t get me wrong! But if it isn’t a mutual interest, I can see your passionate ramble being taken off course quickly.

Which leads me to Gunil. I didn’t think he would be last, but here we are. One thing about Gunil… he’s a talker. Nothing against him at all! As someone who is also a yapper, I respect his grind. However, that also means I know how these conversations work all too well. These conversations can go one of two ways:

He pays great attention! Listening, learning, and nodding along. Maybe even asking a few questions.

He asks too many questions… which lead him to a story… and suddenly neither of you remember what you were talking about in the first place.

Love him to death, Gunil, but there is no way in hell that that conversation would last. Just… try again another time. You can get through to him eventually.

but what i have always been curious about is joel and scarlet's relationship, the rise and fall! (i think that was her name?)

like, we know that joel tried to with her what he does with blossom, but like...... how did it start? had he dated young girls in jackson before and she was the first he went crazy mode with or was she the first girl ever he tried to have that dynamic with?? did he approach her first or did she?? how far did he try to get her to do all the stuff he likes? what were her feelings towards all of it? did she genuinely tried to run from him and he just wouldn't let her? was he truly that scary with her? i assume its his fault that went so downhill bc im always down to blame the men, but was it really? is it possible she lead him on or something? did she have a family, a mother and father who found out about the whole thing? did they went after joel? and what im most curious about.... what did joel that was so terrible the day she ran to tommy for help?? how did the aftermath of all of that played out aside from him just leaving town?

clears throat, cracks knuckles. it's time to YAP (edit: fuck i wrote an entire novel when i tried to answer everything i'm so sorry)

first of all, i picture joel's sort of journey/background slightly different to canon. like i imagine he ended up in jackson earlier than the game, like in his 40s, but he'd lived there certainly for years before he moved out to the cabin. also without ellie involved, he never got to have that moment of transformation so he was much more stunted in his processing and grief. cause as i've said in the past, my idea for this joel was sort of taking a worst case scenario of how he dealt with his grief and turned it into this unhealthy obsession.

i also have debated if tess was part of his picture in the past, and maybe she died as in canon and that was just like a final straw for him and that's how he found himself in jackson, to be close to literally anybody he had left in the world. so he was in a bad place. i imagine he was very secluded, grumpy and just generally not into much socialization in jackson. he'd probably drink alone at the tipsy bison and that kind of thing, or lock himself away despite tommy trying to help. but when he was out, he noticed himself starting to fixate on younger women, maybe to the point it started to force him out of the house to keep watching the ones he fixated on. i sort of imagined there would have been a few other women before the whole thing with scarlett happened. like the more joel gave into these desires he deep down knew were wrong, the more he started to kind of trail back to all that porn and dynamics he'd been interested in pre-outbreak. it was like something he'd had to bury a lot of resurfacing seeing pretty young women looking so enticing and he started to lose sight of himself. i think that he didn't approach the first one, but even though he thought he was slick watching them they definitely noticed and then approached him. at first he wouldn't have known how to handle it, and maybe that last thread of himself hanging on would have said that it was wrong to be interested in someone that young. but at some point he gave in, and i don't think there was anything serious about the first few, just a lot of getting sex out of his system, or trying to go further into the bdsm he was interested in maybe? i imagine there was always a point where he got to be "too much" for the woman involved, cause maybe he even was going further than we saw him go with blossom, or genuinely hurting some of the women when he didn't really practice everything safely. i do kind of imagine that he had chilled out a little by the time blossom came around, so he was asking for maybe some more intense things from other women there or trying to push them into a dynamic they just were not comfortable with (lbr ddlg isn't always taken well by people)

but scarlett was different. i think like blossom, she was more innocent and just really had a specific appeal that joel had subconsciously been looking for. since he was emboldened by his other experiences atp, he would have approached her first and she would have been so flattered etc and probably a little easy to manipulate into joel's bed. his obsession with her grew faster than she knew what to do with, but she was having fun and very enamored by the attention he gave her, constantly wanting her around. it likely got to a point where the people in their lives noticed that they were constantly preoccupied, but joel tried to have her keep it a secret from her family. i imagine that joel's behavior just got increasingly more intense, kind of trying to live out the full time dynamic that he did with blossom, only scarlett wasn't able to really fully go in despite being into some of the elements of it. it was the fact that she didn't feel fully comfortable and she had other things going on - a life, friends, work she did around jackson and it all started to "interfere" and joel got jealous of her dividing her time because he was getting too lost in the madness and obsession.

at this point they'd probably be a bit more public knowledge since joel would hardly want to leave her side whenever he could and got more comfortable sort of showing her off but he got sick of everyone telling him what he should and shouldn't do. oh and scarlett would not have been down for the collar and leash even at home, and joel did not like that lmaooo. SO ANYWAY, basically kind of like you said, at some point her family did find out how serious things were because he kept telling scarlett they should run away together and avoid all this judgement and live the life they were meant to live together. and his behavior just became increasingly more scary and unhinged with how much control he wanted over her. when she tried to tell him that no she wanted to stay near her family and everything, it became kind of a separation conversation even though i do believe scarlett really did care about joel 😢 but she was just young and afraid. he would have went off the rails, probably tried some scary stuff to keep her around like tying her up or threatening to take her away anyways, things like that. i have always imagined he's having like a full on like unintelligible mental breakdown facing the grief of losing someone he got so enmeshed in the dynamic with to the point where it feels like the loss of his child all over again. scarlett manages to get away and just runs to the first person that she knows could help joel which is tommy and then it's kind of how the original chapters portrayed everything. joel stayed around for a while but i kind of picture he made a public scene in front of tommy's place so word spread and all kinds of rumors about him flew in regards to what he was doing with scarlett. people would have been kind of pushing tommy to get him help but joel refused, and i bet a lot of people did not feel comfortable having him around given that the rumor mill may end up twisting things to sound even worse than it was. so he left within the year and was on his own for those five years before he met blossom 💔 definitely did some reflection and while he knew he couldn't necessarily shake the desires he had completely, i think he figured out and streamlined just what he would want in that dynamic, even if it never came to fruition, which i think he never even expected it to!

holy hell sorry i rambled like BAD but i kinda just wanted to throw out the whole story i had pictured as lore when i was writing those scenes where it was coming to light. thank youuu for being so interested in hearing about this ❤️

as for art, ive been doing digital art since late 2018, i love it so much. i may or may not post art as im a little nervous of AI getting trained on it or it being reposted.
