I finally got into the void. I've been trying for sooooo long, like a year now and honestly I spent a lot of time not even really trying so its kinda my fault but I finally pulled myself together and I've been listening to all of your void subs and then last night I tried gorgeouslypinks fild method and I didn't even wake up 6 hours later because I woke up randomly in the middle of the night like 3 hours but I did it then and it was so weird, like I was finger tapping one second and then the next I was like walking somewhere and then I had done some research about lucid dreams before and there's this thing called reality checking and for some reason, I decided to reality check so I poked my index finger through my hand and it literally went through and I realized I was in a lucid dream. I knew some people got kicked out of lucid dreams for being too excited so I tried to calm down and walk around some more and then I created a portal for the void state. I felt hella stupid because I like pretended I was doctor strange making that portal but it acctually worked and then I just went into the portal and the void is acctually so scary. Like yk everyone describes it as calm and like it was but it was sooo silent and like idk how to explain it, it felt like I was stuck in the deep sea. I wouldn't know how that feels but like that's how I'd think it would feel. So I just quickly affirmed that I had my desired face and left and today I woke up and I look so pretty. Like im so obsessed with my face. I kind of look like a Olivia Hussey, Kate Hudson mix. Honestly, I look really similar to Romee strijid but like honey brown eyes and dimples. Honestly, I regret not affirming that I enter the void state every night or anything like that but now that I know I can do it, I'm more confident and I'll do it next time and I won't be scared of how silent the void is. And just thank you so much. Honestly your posts motivated me so much and made me get off my lazy butt and actually work towards getting into the void and I feel like your subliminals really worked too, like I really felt my mindset changing and I'm just so emotional rn, like a mix of happy, regretful, excited, sad, and grateful.

aaaa ofc !! i’m really bad at explaining my art process but here’s how i usually do it : long post ahead

1. reference !!!! references are my life savers !!!! usually i’ll try to find references with a very dramatic lighting, as the lighting is what makes my art interesting (imo) !! for ex. this is what i’ll be using

2. make a sketch/lineart, whatever u want, i usually just do messy lineart, color, then render

3. notice the contrast between the dark and light, identify the light source??? for this one the light source is red and coming from the bottom

4. it looks really bad rn but trust the process… notice how the person in the ref has shadows on their forehead, over the lip, on the nose except the tip, cheekbones, neck, and under their eyes. honestly just copy where the reference puts their shadows, i always start with the dark colors (you can color pick using the eye dropper, or try to identify the colors ig? some say that just using the eye dropper doesn’t help u learn and that it’s cheating but???? art has no rules so just do it until u figure out how to

trust the process…

5. transition colors!!!!! blend the colors ur using and u will get them ?? sorry idk how to explain

6. kinda where things get a little confusing??? i color pick the main color and make it lighter and more saturated and put it where the light hits, and do the opposite for where the shadow is— put a mix of those colors randomly idek

just keep color picking ???? i’m so sorry i can’t explain but make splotches everywhere and don’t blend too much

after it looks something close to that, i start to render on a different layer/ if im too lazy i’ll just change the lineart color to something a little darker

to render, color pick the color around the lineart and make it slightly darker, go over the lines and blend????

add any extra details?? notice how the lighting hits the hair?? and highlights whatvevevrbrbrndjd

it doesn’t look like the ref but that’s not the point, sometimes i’ll add a darker color (usually dark blue) on a different layer with the mode overlay, then another layer with a bright color where i want dramatic light to hit on the layer mode “add”

um truth be told my love i have been in SUCH a slump lately,,,, its been tough out here.

i only read like 3 books very recently (last month or so)

I did read All The Little Raindrops by Mia Sheridan my QUEEN. its like a mystery thriller with a side of romance!!! Sheridan's books are ALWAYS a hit (she's very popular for her booktok famous Archer's Voice? And Travis !!) I've read like. most of her books at this point. I have never devoted myself to an author so much. She got me into the whole thriller genre and I LOVE her. so much. ITS SO GOOD AAAA. its not for the faint of heart and on more than once i find myself with the need to throw up with how HORRIFYING and messed up some of this stuff is (most of her thriller books are not for the faint of heart. lots of horrific stuff that is all too real and it makes it 10x more disturbing). Anyway i loved it i think i gave it a 4/5 stars it was so so good

2. i ALSO started Ana Huang's If Love series. I literally never shut up about Ana Huang like. EVER and i had been wanting to read this for a while and IM SO GLAD I GOT IT STARTED !!! Its a LOT less popular than hr Twisted and Kings of Sin series; she wrote it well before she got popular/published but its so good. its def not Twisted/Kings of Sin series but it makes it sooo clear how much she's grown in her writing, character development and general story telling!!! I read the first 2 books and UGHGUGHUFGHUFGHG yeah. new comfort series fr fr fr fr.

I also got digging through Lynn Painter's works (Love Wager, Mr Wrong Number, Better Than The Movies, etc) 10/10 her rom coms are sacred to me. this was a while ago though like. months ago lmao but i think abt her books always!!!

OH OH OMG I READ BIRTHDAY GIRL BY PENELOPE DOUGLAS !!!! SOME TIME AGO!!! yeah it changed my brain chemistry. i dont remember if i told you or not. but it changed my life. i think about it always.

edit: omg shut up i forgot i read some banger books months ago that i did not mention. i ate up Liz Tomforde's sports romance series (Windy City series) it was SO FREAKING GOOD. she had hockey romance, she had basketball romance she had BASEBALL ROMANCE. 10/10 amazing vibes

I ate through the latest of Lauren Asher's (Love Redesigned) IT WAS ALSO HELLA GOOD!! Ana Huang's King of Greed was also a vibe. not my fav but it was good. I ALSO delved into hockey romance SOOO DEEP. Fav series is probably Becka Mack's Playing For Keeps. It's the silliest stupidest fluffy no plot head empty series ever. the first book is 90% porn. its just for the giggles. the second is a bit better but the third is def the best in terms of actual plot & character development for example but the vibes are astronomical and i live for them

i ALSO started reading Sarah Adam's small town romance series (very very good). All fluffy fall vibes. CHLOE GONG HAD COME OUT WITH A NEW BOOK IN THE SUMMER AND I GOT TO IT AROUND THE NEW YEAR AND IT WAS SOOO GOOOD. Immortal Longings mm......she destroyed me once again.
