Ok but what if Ingo accidentally ate something his particular breed of Sneasel can’t. Like maybe for the regular breed it’s fine and Emmet didn’t think anything of it but… Hisuian Sneasels don’t share the same immunities as Johtoian Sneasels, they are quite literally an extinct breed of sneasel for a reason and probably didn’t adapt a tolerance for things a normal sneasel would have, like certain types of food that are poisonous or unhealthy to certain breeds of dogs that others that have developed a tolerance for.

I couldnt think of what he could have a reaction to so im just gonna not fill that in (if i had to pick something i was gonna pick raisins they casue kidney failure in dogs but i dont want to make it too serious sooooo)

Ok so hi writing liz here. I spent like so long on writing the set up. Its 3:22am and im still writing the set up. Ok i had a thought of taking the whole thing out and just writing the key points here then making a full post for what i have. Yea im gonna do that but im gonna leave this note here.

Another note. Its 4:05 and i just realised i wrote this whole thing for food poisoning instead of allergy. Sorry im having a spout of food poisoning myself at the moment so its just on the brain. Damn you local dominos.

Ok so key points only LETS GOO

Ingo tried to hide it from Emmet. Emmet does a lot for Ingo now and Ingo feels bad about it. He used to take care of Emmet.

I headcanon Ingo cooked for them and Emmet sucks at it.

Emmet knows Ingo feels bad about not being able to take care of Emmet, let alone himself, so Emmet has to keep a closer eye on Ingo since he wont tell him if something is wrong. So you just get Ingo poorly hiding his pain/sickness and Emmet hyper aware of Ingos state.

Im gonna say it gets pretty bad. Like Ingo is awake halfway throught the night stubbornly trying to tuff it out when hes just like “yea no something is very wrong i need help” so he goes to wake up Emmet, who is totally awake and totally wasnt about to drag Ingo to a pokemon center in the next five minutes. Emmet rushes him down and finds out its food poisoning. Which Emmet is completely surprised about because he researched everything Sneasels can and cant eat. He picked that food because it was supposed to be safe damn it. The nurse suggested maybe its because his typing is different.

Oh side note Emmet pretending Ingo is just his pokemon drives him up the wall. He hates making his brother feel like a lesser being.

Anyway Ingo has a good three days of recovery ahead of him. Hes tired. Hes in pain. Hes dehydrated. Hes shaky. And he cant keep anything in his stomach.

Now i have given myself food poisoning many many times (im banned from cooking chicken at 3am now) so i know it just sucks. No you arent leaving the house dont bother. You ate too weak to try probably. Drinking lots and lots of water feels like its doing nothing but doctors say it helps so *shrug* do it. It hardly matters what you eat it isnt staying long. Vomiting is the worst. Though tbh my stomach has serious acid lvl problems soooo idk i might be a bad example for how bad vomits should burn. Dehydration adds a lot of the symptoms tbh. If you share a bathroom with someone rip them, because you live in there now. Ok again im a bad example because i pretty much live in the bathroom as is. I shower when im sick. Like a lot. If im sick then i spends hours in there. At least if i have to vom im in the shower ya know. Idk. I should when i write these posts mostly.

So Emmet is going to take his normal levels of peotection of Ingo and dial them up to 11. He feels at fault for this after all. Ingo is too weak to shove his brother off right now. Emmet isnt going to work at all till Ingo is in full health again thats for sure. Queue sofa living. Emmet only left the house to go to the store to buy sports drinks and oatmeal. Maybe banana or two as well. You may think these are weird choices but trust me fam you dont want anything else. The sports drink gonna help with the dehydration and the oatmeal/bananas help keep your stomach in less of a mess. That is once you get to eat. When going through the main symptoms Ingo cant reslly eat or drink anything without making himself worse. Emmet hates it. I mean so does Ingo but duh. Seeing his brother in pain again is something Emmet never wanted to do. But its worse this time. He blames himself for his mistake. Even though there was literally no way for him to know, wel talking it over with Ingo but he thought he had it covered. Queue Ingo trying to comfort Emmet while sick making Emmet feel worse. I saw a headcanon that Emmet stress cleans so the whole time hes not by Ingos side hes cleaning something.

Once Ingo finds out what had been going on he can help keep his diet in order. He knows what hisuin sneasels can and cant eat after all. But thats not till everything is said and done.

Ok its 4:21am im done i got nothin else for this one. I do have like the other post in the works but my phone is at 4% so its gonna have to wait. Sorry i missed the allergy thingy. I dont have many food related ones. I assume Emmet gets worse off for stress because food allergies are crazy bad news. Your throat swells. You cant breathe. Oh Ingo could have died. Yea Emmet isnt good

omegaverse prompt 8 with analogical?

Omega goes to an Alpha, who doesn’t look too menacing, and clings on them to get away from another creepy Alpha/Beta. 

Flipping another page of his book, Virgil picked up his coffee and took a small drink, the dark flavor filling his taste buds.  The sounds of the coffee shop around him soothed him, as it did every morning, when he came to relax before getting his day starting.  Above the door at the front of the store, the bells chimed their alert that someone new was coming in.  Taking another drink of his coffee, Virgil looked up as he heard steps coming towards him.

Barely getting a good look at the male, Virgil blinked fast as suddenly the smaller male was tucked against his side.

“Uhm.” Virgil said, resting his book on the table.

“I’m sorry, I know this is weird, but please don’t push me away.”  The other male, that Virgil could smell was an Omega, said as he peeked up at him.

Blinking a few more times, Virgil let his arm rest around the Omega’s shoulders, looking around the room.  The bells over the door chimed again as a man stepped into the cafe, eyes scanning around the place before landing on the male under his arm.  A small snarl curled the other man's lip as he headed to the counter and stood in line, side eyeing the pair of them.

“Someone you know?”  Virgil asked, pulling the Omega closer to him.

“He likes coming to my job and makes comments about me, and today he was coming in as I was leaving to walk home.  So I came here, because.” He trailed off, his face turning red.

“Because?”  Virgil asked, turning his attention fully to the Omega.

“Because I was hoping you were here.  I’ve seen you in here a handful of mornings and you looked like a nice Alpha.  I’m sorry.”

Virgil shook his head, giving a glance over to the male that was now sitting at another table, glaring daggers at the pair.

“Don’t be, I’m glad I was able to help.” Virgil trailed off, tilting his head.

“Logan.”

“I’m glad I could help, Logan.”

“Thank you, uh.”

“Virgil.”

“Thank you, Virgil.  Honestly I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn't been here.”

Virgil nodded, picking up his coffee and taking a drink, trying to swallow the bad taste he had in his mouth, knowing exactly what the other Alpha would have done.

“I don’t think he’s going to leave anytime soon though.”  Logan sighed.

“Then I’ll just have to walk you home.”

“You don’t.”

“Hey, you asked for protection, and I’m going to give it to you.  So just let me finish my coffee and we’ll go, yea?”

“Ok.  Thank you.” Logan mumbled, smiling softly as Virgil held him tighter, relaxing fully for the first time in a long while.  “Thank you.”

The Courtroom

Word Count: 1097 Warnings: Mention of Deceit (once, not a character), breakdown, being ignored, mentions of being left out, basically just a bunch of angst

“Of course you suggested a salad Logan.”

“Not just a salad. Of course we need protein for a well rounded meal so we should have some baked chicken.”

Roman groaned. “YAWWNNN! We should just get Chinese takeout!”

“But Thomas should be eating consistently healthy as the fresh food will-”

“Borrringggg! We don’t do it very often, just let the poor man eat his favourite tonight!”

Logan turned to Patton for support, but was greeted with a weak smile.

“I really do miss their dumplings…”

“Exactly! Virgil, you agree with us don’t you?”

Logan turned to face the anxious side who just shrugged. “He has been nervous about his work recently… Maybe this might help him.”

“Right! So we’re gonna order a dish of dumplings, spring rolls, rice crackers-”

“With the amount you are going to order he will feel sluggish and guilty for eating so much unhealthy food.” Roman rolled his eyes. “No he won’t, it’s only this once he’ll be fine.” He turned around and walked into the kitchen to order.

Patton gave a soft smile to Logan. “Next time you can choose the meal we pick,” he patted his shoulder before following Roman.

“That’s what you said last time too,” Logan mumbled.

Virgil shuffled his feet a bit, not making eye contact with Logan. “Sorry, I-”

“It’s fine Virgil, I understand,” Logan interrupted Virgil apology.

Virgil gave an awkward nod before scattering into the kitchen with the others.

Logan watched them go off, laughing at something Roman said that he didn’t quite catch. He probably wouldn’t of understood the joke anyway. He never does.

Logan didn’t participate during family dinner time. He passed it off that he was feeling unwell, and before Patton could pull the puppy eye trick on him, he had sunk out of the room. But he wasn’t going to his room. Instead, he rose in the middle of the courtroom. He stood in front of where Roman sat as the judge, just a mere week ago. He turned his head slightly to look at the witness box, where he had been brought up as evidence for Deceit’s case.

Even though he was the most qualified to help them do it properly.

Even though they knew he liked to play pretend for the sake of knowledge after he opened up to them.

Logan closed his eyes, adjusted his tie and cleared his throat. When he reopened them, they burnt. They burnt with a sense of passion, fuelled with anger and a hidden sadness.

Then he let loose.

“Would you like to explain to me why they won’t listen to me?” His voice boomed, echoing in the empty room. “How no matter how many times I am proven right, they won’t take my advice? Why I’m always cast to the side?” He stepped forward, hands slamming against the front of the witness stand as what little control he had broke as he started to scream. “Why is it that no matter how many palm cards I make to assist me with understanding their language, that they just don’t love me? It’s so obvious that I try so hard! The evidence is there! I’ve opened up to them, I have followed their stupid ideas to please them, yet nothing is reciprocated! Why does this even affect me?! Why does this hurt!? I don’t want to… to feel this anymore.” His eyes were watering now, his yells starting to go raw. But his voice quieted down to a whisper, as any louder would make him crack “How do I make this go away?”

He stood there for at least ten minutes, allowing the shaking that was going through his arms calm down and stopping the speed at which his chest was rising and falling. Once he was able to take a deep breath without it being caught in the lump in his throat, he slowly started to move. His feet took him up the step and sat him in the seat behind the witness stand. He tucked the chair in and stared out. He looked out to where Virgil sat in the Jury, eyes gazing over to where Deceit and Patton played the lawyers.

Where he should of been.

Logan’s gaze went up beside him, where Roman ridiculed him and laughed at him for being hurt. For being lied at and for being left out. Again.

Finally, his eyes fell to the back of the room, to the seat that he was forced to. Out of the scenario, where everyone else got to participate but him. The only time he got involved was when he was used to correct and check information.

“That’s all I’m good for, that’s why,” He mumbled. “That’s all they keep me around for. Because I’m needed to correct information. They don’t want me. They need me, but they’re never going to love me.” Tears fell from his eyes, his voice wavering. “I… I l-love them… and it all hurts so much… I am done being used. I don’t just want to be their pawn. I am just so, so tired. These emotions are exhausting. I’m logic and yet I feel… this.”

Logan had to take a second, taking a deep breath because he was going to break but dear god did he have so much more.

“I don’t know how long I can keep going like this. Where every decision of mine is belittled and I’m constantly left out. Where I’m called apart of their family because they need me, when in reality th-they… I’m not… I just want… I want to be apart of the fa-family… and I can’t go much longer pretending I’m fine that I’m n-not…”

That was where Logan shattered.

He leant forward on his arms as he started to sob. It rippled through his body and shook him of everything he had. His saw throat cried out more as he choked on everything he had been holding in and all his suffering. He lost track of how long he had been sitting there, feeling disgusting at how he expressed his emotion. How it shattered every bit of him. Slowly, when someone the sobbing stopped and the tears had slowed down, Logan could no longer keep his eyes open. They inevitably closed from the weight of emotional turmoil and exhaustion, pulling him into a deep slumber. In his sleep, he would slowly pick up the pieces of his broken self. Then he would spend the morning stitching himself back together, piece by piece until his mask was perfect in place again.

Until he shattered yet again.

Day 1 | Bangkok | 1/26

Early Thursday morning, January 24th, Jeremy and I set off for Thailand. Our first ever long vacation taken just the two of us.

We left from Santa Cruz heading to Pleasanton to say bye to the fam. Then Papa, like the amazing grandpa he is, took us to SFO.

Smooth sailing. Checked into our flight with China Southern, bought a breakfast sandwich to share and tried to walk around as much as possible before our flight.

Seated at the very last row we slept, watched movies, snacked, played games, and watched the 14 hour flight slowly tick by.

From there we had a layover in Wuhan, China. At this airport, they don't transfer your bags apparently so airline told us that we needed to get our luggage from baggage claim then recheck-in at the ticket counter once we land. And in China, even when you have no plans to leave the airport we had to be fingerprinted twice, go through customs where they glared into our soul trying to see if we were criminals, wait in another line to get our bags scanned for contraband, then start all over again at the ticket counter. At this point we were deliriously tired but we made it through all the craziness to eventually get to our next flight.

Once on the plane we fell asleep before the plane had even pulled out from the gate. However, I woke up maybe 45 minutes later totally confused because the plane hadn't moved. We missed whatever the reason was but our flight was delayed over an hour. This was a little stressful because I wasn't able to connect to the airport wifi. We were being picked up by a family friend we had never met before so I was super worried they would get to the Bangkok airport at 1am and have to wait forever for us. It ended up being totally fine though, Pu and Aaron who were picking us up, had luckily checked the flight before leaving the house.

Speaking of those two, Pu and Aaron have started off our trip so well. Standing at a predetermined exit gate they welcomed us with open arms. First thing Punsaid was, "Welcome to the kingdom." From there we didn't stop talking until we got to one of their favorite 24 hour markets/restaurants. Pu did all the ordering. He wanted to give us a course on "Thai food 101." We learned how these types of meals are typically shared, how there's no knives only spoons and forks, and how to create the "perfect bite," which is apparently the only way to eat Thai food.

The perfect bite starts by getting all your foods thrown onto the middle of your plate. He told us to start with these veggies that looked like a cross between green beans and broccoli, chicken basil, wild rice, and some kind of fish dish. You plop that all together then on the table are four little dishes of sauce/ toppings. Sugar. Dried chili flakes. Chopped chiles in fish sauce (v. spicy). And bigger chili slices in a lighter fish sauce (not as spicy). Pu recommended the chopped chilies one and oh lord was if good but my mouth was on fire. I started sweating instantly. We also had Tom Yum, a kind of mushroom soup, and Pad See Ew, a large flat noodle dish.

At the point it's 4:30am. The restaurant is still packed with people who looked like they just got dome clubbing and then there's us in the corner. Next we went to the market next door where we looked around at the different offerings. They had a type of cookie there called 'Santa Cruz' and it was oatmeal raisin. So weird. Pu bought us some of his favorite fruit, he says it's similar to a grapefruit. It was so good, not as sour, more white than pink, and I really liked the texture of it.

Next they took us to their home where we will be spending the night. Tomorrow we have plans for mango sticky rice in the morning, followed by real Thai tea with boba. If you can tell they asked me what I wanted the most and are making it happen right away! They rock. Then around 2pm we will leave for Hua Hin where we will be staying at their beach house and Pu plans on making us a lavish dinner. He is a self-proclaimed "crazy chef" so I'm very curious to find out what that means. Aaron says he is a really great cook and we are gunna love it.

Newt stumbled through the doorway sopping wet. His hair was matted down and his clothes were sticking to every part of his body. His case was in his one hand and he set it down, shaking his head like a wet down and letting the water fly off.

“Newt!” Throwing your hands up you shielded yourself as the water droplets flew in your face.

“Oh!” Giving you a lopsided grin the wizard kicked off his boots and replied, “Sorry, love... didn’t see you there...”

“Why, or how, did you get so wet?!”

Wringing out his sleeves, Newt glanced up and answered, “I forgot my wand and it started raining on my way home.”

Holding in a slight chuckle, you grabbed a hold of the Hufflepuff’s arm and dragged him towards the warmly lit fire. He was dry rather quickly and the two of you spent the rest of the evening cuddling on the couch while Pickett braided your hair.

“Achoo!”

“Merlin’s beard, who’s there?!” Shooting upright, you knocked Pickett over who fell asleep on your shoulder as you fell asleep on Newt’s who fell asleep on the couch pillow. 

“Ugh...” 

Newt shuffled next to you, sitting upright and rubbing his nose with his sleeve. He let out another sneeze and you quickly grabbed the box of tissues beside you, handing it to him.

“Awe, I think you caught a cold.” Rubbing his back you watched him glance over at you, his eyes red and tired. Placing your hand to his forehead you confirmed that he indeed did catch a cold and you immediately sprang up. Pickett chirped and you quickly scooped him up and placed him on your shoulder. 

“Don’t worry,” You began, placing a blanket over him and giving him another pillow, “Pickett and I will take care of you.”

“I’m fine, love... really. My creatures, they-”

“Uh uh.” Crossing your arms you shook your head and gently pushed him back down. “I will check on the creatures for you. They can survive without mummy for today.” 

Letting out a sigh of defeat, Newt settled himself in to the blanket and let his head sink in to the pillows. You smiled and walked off with Pickett to the kitchen. With your wand in hand you began enchanting various kitchen utensils and began preparing a warm cup of tea and a hot breakfast. Pickett slid down your arm as you stirred his tea and began to help prepare the rest. 

With a warm pot of oatmeal on the stove, you let Pickett toss in the raisins as you sprinkled in some cinnamon. Humming lightly you poured it in to a bowl and placed it on a serving tray. Carefully you carried it in to the room and placed it on the coffee table. 

“Breakfast is served!”

Peeking up at you from under the blanket, Newt took in a deep whiff of the delicious food and immediately pushed himself up. He smiled up at you, watching as you handed him his tea and letting him take a sip before handing him his oatmeal. 

“Thank you, love.” Newt’s voice was hoarse and he winced at the sound of it. The warm tea helped though and you smiled as you watched him eat his oatmeal. “This is delicious.”

“Thank you!” You beamed, “Pickett helped.”

Chirping, Pickett waved his leafy tendrils and Newt let out a tiny chuckle. He thanked the Bowtruckle, earning a delightful chirp in return. Once he finished you cleaned up and returned with a cool wash cloth and placed it on his forehead. 

Newt allowed you to fix his blanket for him and get him more tea all while trying to convince you he was fine. After his tenth sneeze you glared at him and put your hands on your hips. 

“Newton Artemis Fido Scamander.... you will lay here and get the rest you need. Do you want to be sick for longer?”

Newt sighed, shaking his head. Winning the argument, you placed Pickett on the pillow beside him and interacting him that if he needed anything to just have Pickett get you. 

“Now, you rest and I’ll take care of your babies, alright?” You pushed yourself up and made your way towards Newt case until the sound of his voice called for you and you spun around, waiting for what he needed. 

To your surprise he just smiled and replied, “You mean our babies.”

A huge smile spread across your face and you blushed. “Of course.... silly me.” And with that, you descended down the case as your sweet Hufflepuff laid back down and got his much needed rest.

an introduction.

Basically, i dont feel my best. my higene isnt optimal, nor are my eating habits or my skin or my mind. but i know i can help it be.

ill tackle things slowly while adding habits and some goals per week, my priorities now that im starting is 

- my eating habits. lately i feel either starving or im eating till it hurts. its all processed stuff so i dont do well in dance classes cus im so tired all the time. (goal) to find balance with eating. starting w a 12 hr daily fasts since im  never hungry in the morning (i will indeed break them if im too hungry - the idea is not to just eat cus its time for breakfast) and eating more whole foods. instead of sugar raisins, SOME honey, fruit, oatmeal; instead of wheat lenti, chickpeas, thick soups, sushi, salads, etc.

- hygiene, i forget to shower AND brush my teeth. i need to make it a strong habit. every 2 days shower, and brush teeth up to 3 times (ideally)

- dont miss dance class

- study dutch as soon as i get on my computer

Third day of the new year!

Went to hangout with ryan and leighton. They wanted to try marugame udon so!!! Also i saw adam but didnt say hi, oops. In any case. We were like hey let’s do something like walk around! But it rained a little so we bought some cuties from trader joe’s and ended up at ryan’s house and basically sat in his kotatsu for 4 hours then i came home. I also finally know how it feels like when the manga says that your legs get tangled inside the kotatsu. And when you literally cannot get out of it. Plus the feeling of losing the ability to walk because ya gurl tried to stand up after crawling out of the kotatsu and just fell back down What a day LOL

my brain in general has forgotten how it feels like to study …oh dear

Mommy helped me dye my hair yesterday! It’s lighter than i thought but it was the gray ochre color from palty! And it smells like grape hichews Facetimed vania & yuri today and they noticed the color! And then facetiming with dad and he also noticed LIKE WOW I DIDNT REALIZE PEOPLE COULD TELL? <3

went to portland with alice to check out apartments!!! woot. lots of fun going around/looking at the city. landed on thursday night and waited at the airport for alice and ate mcdonalds/watched the office haha friday: alice had work all day ): so i went out to meet up with yuri and leslie who happened to be out in portland too! walked to the alberta arts district to eat with them at pok pok noi. just walked around afterwards exploring in the rain before getting back home to eat dinner with alice at like 8…lol we went to bamboo sushi in sw and alice treated me to omakase as a congrats on getting my new yob!! woot also did some walking around in the neighborhood - will likely spend quite a bit of time in the powell city of books! saturday: the day we actually went out to see properties! grabbed some blue star donuts and headed into nw district - looked at some apartments and then grabbed lunch at this cute italian place that i will most likely frequent. started talking to alice about stuff and being weak, i cried and then we got free hazelnut ice cream…LOL. it was really good sunday: since we toured places that i actually liked yesterday, we basically just decided to walk around different areas. waterfront park, pioneer square…we spent a while in nordstrom rack and sephora looking for stuff for alice! lol. then dinner again at bamboo sushi and dessert at salt & straw :> monday morning: waking up early to get to the airport for alice’s flight. bought more donuts at the airport for mom! then i sat at the airport watching the office and eating until the airplane ride where i got a whole row to myself~

and that was my portland trip shortened LOL. but~ excited about the new city, definitely excited about the donuts!

THE SOFT SQUISHY ONE. But failed in the shower curtain department cause it’s too short… Makeshift bed with blankets and bed sheets lol…we shall await the mattress coming in tomorrow~ Do have quite a bit of stuff to buy in general…): Anyways. Had a burrito for dinner and like ?!! Aluminum foil gave me an aluminum cut so…ow No internets yet - good thing han downloaded some movies!

February 19th

My first day of work!! Went in earlies and had onboarding for about two hours with amother new hire. Then i returned to my room where i met my coworker and my manager! Both of whom are in the same room and we each have a desk. (Ima have to request a standing desk :O) anywayss. Got a company laptop - thank god it’s not bulky. And then i’ve got two monitors on my desk too! #bless

Then jlw went through more ux stuff with me and i also went to a stand up meeting. Like. Those are real man. Then went to company lunch! Where new hires introduce themselves and i realize that i have never used a dishwasher before and everyone was shookt lol.

Afterwards, i went to a sprint meeting AND BOIIIII PLANNING POKER DOE??? Lololol. I have to say i did not understand a single thing that was going on. Took about an hour and a half…

Anyways. went back in where jlw continued where she left off and then finally let me read some onboarding stuff on my own before she headed out at 4 and then me, leaving swiftly at 4 as well LOL

SO that was my first day! Trying to get everything in order - i hope that everything goes great and that i learn lots and lots! :> although…windows computer already killing me, no wonder people use mouses instead of the trackpad. Also…gotta learn Axure + in depth photoshop so…WOOT WOOT

Oh and we also have a huge snack cabinet i might just become a potato

I went bowling today!! It was an engineering celebration so i thought - why not, let’s be social for a little bit. And it turned out to be fun~ we had some fuds and i played two rounds. And I got a strike in one of the rounds! Woot woot. Anyways. It was enjoyable, not as awkward as i had envisioned. Also i was able to successfully catch the bus home so that was great :>

I think i’m reverting back to my eating habits because there are ENDLESS SNACKS IN THE OFFICE. Oh dear
