Birthday hcs! (doing them now so i dont forget on the 24th)

In her earlier years, her birthday presents were rarely given on her actual birthday, as her father was typically so absorbed in his work that he had no idea what day it was in general, and her (foster) mother wasn't often around on the day to give her any presents, though she did try send her packages and hoped they would arrive in time. When she ended up at the orphanage, the people running it did their best to make sure all kids got something on their birthdays, it was quite the surprise to Levy, who had learnt to never expect or hope for anything.

As she began to make friends with other kids, particularly ones that joined or were involved with Fairy Tail, she made an effort to make note of their birthdays and give them something on the day if she could. She still makes the effort with her friends on their birthdays now and never takes it for granted when she gets gifts (or anything) on her birthday.

She considers the day that Shadow Gear formed as the team's birthday, so she makes sure to have special plans with Jet and Droy on that day. They tend to go to dinner somewhere nice and exchange small gifts.

One of her favourite gifts to receive on her birthday is of course books, but she also loves getting craft supplies or any 'hobby starter kit' type packs, as she loves trying new activities and hobbies. Lisanna got her a candle making kit one year and Levy was obsessed with it for a good while (and still enjoys making candles now).

Other gifts she loves are anything bird, butterfly, or flower themed. She has quite a collection of art, ornaments, and accessories that are related to those.

When it comes to cakes, Levy has quite a few she likes, such as; coffee cake with caramel sauce, carrot cake, and lemon cake.

More than anything, she just loves to spend her birthday with her closest friends.
