Day 3 - Victorian Times/Confession for @jonmartinweek!

late but better than never lol, im not used to drawing so much! i ended up with bad wrist pain and couldn't finish this last night

anyway thought of a gothic horror victorian au - jon is the newly appointed housekeeper for the Magnus estate (succeeding the late gertrude who died under mysterious circumstances, so he's not entirely qualified to be organizing the estate's finances and directing staff but alas here we are). martin is newly hired gardener who tracks mud into the freshly cleaned house on his first day 😬 but when he's not ruining the estate, jon finds him oddly charming - and when he's not getting yelled at, martin finds the housekeeper is far nicer than he's letting on 🤭 cue the loathing at turning into pining from afar, brushing hands, and then touching without gloves on??!! also them on a gender journey together is so important to me

romance aside (lol) it would be kind of a mix of Haunting of Bly Manor meets Dracula meets Crimson Peak in terms of horror - i think it'd be fun to translate TMA into a victorian estate (like how it's kind of creepy that no one has ever met Magnus himself huh 👀)

It's hard to describe what kissing an angel feels like other than warm. He could always feel Lucifer's body heat seemingly radiating out, even when they just lay next to each other in bed, but this was much... stronger, he supposed. It felt almost like Lucifer was somehow pouring some of his divinity into Alastor as they kissed, as if doing so long enough might turn Alastor into an angel as well.

This is Mr. Winky. He’s named that because I thought at first he was supposed to be one of those little blankets with heads on them because there is no stuffing in his body and I couldn’t pronounce blanky right. He has a music box in his head that plays old McDonalds when you pull his tail. Everyone says he looks more like a dog but he is a cow. He has a blue plaid bow tie and he’s a gentleman. He loves tea and pie. I got him from a babysitter when I was very young to help me sleep at nap time because I always had trouble sleeping at her house since at home I slept with music on the tv and a nightlight so she got Homs because he played music. She ended up letting me nap alone anyway because the other kids were bothered by the noise :( her name was Beth she was so sweet🥹 he’s my best friend forever (and always my favorite but don’t tell the others🤫). That’s why he looks so well loved 😊

OOOOOHH he is so so so sweet i want to tuck him in and give him a smooch :~) what a sweet backstory aww 🥺
