SIGH…so I finally finished Xillia 2. Man, what an AMAZING game. Like, I already loved the Xillia 1 characters to bits and this game just exponentiated my love for them. Even made me like and appreciate characters that in Xillia 1 I either disliked or didn’t give much thought to, like Muzet and Alvin. And Elle and Ludger? just pure love everywhere. There aren’t that many direct sequels in the Tales series that I’ve played, since the only other I had played was dawn of the new world and…well, we all know it just wasn’t what most fans expected coming from the all-time beloved Symphonia. But Xillia 2? Showed me that Namco can do sequels right in terms of story, new characters, and treating the returning cast just right. ANYWAYS, more junk thoughts below!

let's start with the good things!!

the returning cast. as mentioned above, the amount of love i have for the original xillia cast is just indescribable. milla maxwell became one of my all-time favorite characters and the fact that the xillia 2 did such a good job at portraying them in this sequel was such a delight. they got new outfits and new skit portraits to go along with them, unlike the treatment that the beloved symphonia OG cast got in dotnw :( (how do 2 years pass and you still have genis with the same kiddy outfit like...c'mon) AND everyone's original voice actors were back for this game as well!!! EVEN DRISELLE!!! gaaahh as i was playing i just kept wishing that symphonia's cast had gotten half the love and care that the xillia 1 cast got in this game, but well, it is what it is.

and the side chapters that you'd get with the original cast? fucking fantastic way to get ludger actually grow closer to milla and the gang and have it feel natural, you know? like it didn't feel forced or anything like how it felt at some parts in dotnw (sorry for constantly comparing it to it but that's the only direct sequel i have to go off of). so not only do you actually get to grow your affection with the original cast, you get to learn even more about them and watch them grow! it was just so great to see elize more grown up and confident, leiah working through having more self-esteem in what she does as a reporter, learning more about muzét and how she actually wishes to get closer to milla's friends, and even gaius!! who i didn't even care for at the beginning, i loved how he realized that the chimeriad were actually his real friends and not just like warriors that were following his orders!!! AAAAA these bonus chapters were EVERYTHING!

the fractured dimensions were also soooo fucking good and so interesting to see how one single thing could make that dimension so different, but honestly all of them were so fucking heartbreaking! the one with elize and jiao was just SO brutal like...i can't even imagine how that must have been like for poor elize. OH and the one with victor where EVERYONE from the og cast is dead?? and you find the "dead" teepo!!! terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible especially when you try to go see driselle in that dimension and some lady at the mansion is like "please understand that lady driselle doesn't want to see anyone right now. she has lost every person that she considered family" like....DAMN this game is just devastating with its fractured dimensions!! but so juicy lmao. but yeah, i just really liked how the fractured dimensions brought back old characters you thought you'd never see again and even made you appreciate them in a new light (like presa and agria). who doesn't love a good AU?

fractured milla. i won't go too much into this here since i already had another post where i talked about how fucking great and a breath of fresh air fractured milla was, but i just had to mention her here as well since i have to say it: before fractured milla showed up, i was having a "meh" time with xillia 2, but once she joined the party and started growing closer with the rest of the team including elle, like...my enjoyment and love for the game increased immediately. what a damn good character.

elle. you amazing beautiful innocent brave child. i didn't care much for elle and found her...somewhat...annoying at the beginning of the game, but considering she is introduced by framing you for kidnapping her, i mean what else is there to expect lol. but my god, the way this game made me go from "who tf is this kid and why do i have to babysit her" to "if anything bad happens to elle i will kill everyone and then myself" was just fantastic. the scene where elle tries to save fractured milla by hitting rideaux with her sword and then like pretty much the follow-up scenes after fractured milla's death like....pure heartbreaking angst that just makes you want to go in and give elle a hug yourself (good thing the game gives you this option as ludger!). like i mentioned in another post, i'm not even the slightest bit interested in seeing the other endings where it looks like you can't save elle, like FUCK that noise and i don't trust anyone that doesn't choose to save elle lol. seeing teenager elle alive and happy WEARING CLOTHES STYLED LIKE HER DAD'S made me smile so fucking hard and made the sadness of ludger's sacrifice worth it just to see the kiddo living her life with the OG cast as her newfound family. LOVE WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also sequel with adult Elle when????????

the gameplay. the gameplay from xillia 2 is similar to xillia 1 so there is nothing much to say that is new here. i would usually stick with my party of ludger-milla-elize-leiah as much as i could. the linked attacks were as fun as ever and being able to switch ludger's types of attacks was interesting, but honestly i don't think i was very good at switching weapons lol.

the english voice acting. i also mentioned this when i talked about fractured milla in a previous post, but man the voice acting for this game is soooo much better than xillia 1. i think i even commented it in my xillia 1 post that i just felt like the VAs just...didn't do it for me (except teepo my beloved!!!!): the voices just felt flat and uninspiring and the skits suffered a bit because of that i think. i think the only one i liked was milla (oh and driselle!! but i mean who doesn't love driselle!!!!) but that's because the non-emotional voice acting fit her character and personality. HOWEVER, xillia 2?? i don't know why but everyone just sounded so much better! like the difference between fractured milla and prime milla was soooo noticeable in the acting, so props to the VA for that. and of course hearing older elize was such a treat!! just ahhhh phenomenal work all around, even for elle's!!

other miscellaneous good things: the skits were fun and even moreso with the choice options added in. i also liked ludger himself as a protagonist and thought going the silent-protagonist route was interesting, i just wish we would have gotten more voiced lines from him, especially at the end where he says goodbye to elle. i was also so glad to see driselle back in xillia 2, and although she doesn't play a major role in the main story, it was good to see her in some sidequests and side chapters. like, the love that elize has for driselle just fills my heart with so much joy and even more when elize called driselle her best friend. augh!!!! i need to play xillia 1 again aldsjkflasjflaksjdf.

and now....for the bad, or not-as-good.

the overworlds. my god i think i already talked about this when i finished xillia 1 but GEEZ these overworlds and dungeon levels are ATROCIOUS!! for the overworlds it's literally the same type of design for every single one of them except re-skinned to fit the theme (snowy, desert, swamp, etc.) so once you see one, you've seen them all. same for the dungeons: just cave-like systems that are re-skinned with no puzzles or anything interesting to them. honestly the way that the fractured dimensions forced you to go back to the old xillia 1 locations was clever but also ANNOYING because it's like...there was rarely anything worth getting in these dungeons, so exploring the same exact-looking caves got so fucking tedious after the third or so. the overworld and the dungeons are i think the worst part of this game, but luckily the characters, story, and gameplay were good enough that i can overlook this part a little bit... i understand that they only had a little bit of time to develop this game after xillia 1, but unlike dotnw, all the locations and dungeons stayed exactly the same and honestly is a disgrace. NEXT.

the music. nothing new here. i mean, considering 85% of the locations are borrowed from xillia 1 and thus the music is borrowed as well, there were i think only 1 or 2 songs that i'll need to add to my collection, one of them being the theme for when you are fighting one of the fractured dimension catalysts. other than that...? yet another tales entry with disappointing music. symphonia stays winning.

the ending. look i'm not saying the GOOD ending is BAD, but like...enough with the bittersweet endings! it's not enough that fractured milla and victor and julius are dead, let's kill ludger as well in order for elle to live. like....c'mon!!! i knew it wasn't gonna be possible to save both given what i had heard about the game, and also at least it wasn't fucking terrible where elle dies no matter what. i guess i was hoping for something like dotnw where we get to have our cake and eat it too: ratatosk saves the world but lets emil live out his human life with marta. i know xillia 2 is an old game but considering some of the tales games after this were zestiria (sorey sacrificing himself) and berseria (velvet sacrificing herself), it's like....c'mon can these protagonists STOP having to sacrifice themselves during the endings, please????

other miscellaneous not-so-good things: ok when prime milla appears she says to elle something like "i'll go to the land of canaan and show you what it is that i do so that you won't have to hate me for having made fractured milla go away" but like...once you get to the land of canaan and see elle, idk if it was just me forgetting things cus i DID finish it at 4 in the morning, but did milla do anything?? lol like i felt it was all ludger and that's it. elle DOES say to milla "i'm glad you're here too" or w/e but it's like...i never really felt like prime milla actually got to close that gap with elle, ESPECIALLY because there's a skit beforehand where milla is sad/worried about what she could give to elle once she sees her again. and then after the final battle she (understandably) leaves with muzet so it's like...oh ok, thanks.....??? just me being annoyed with that just because of how close fractured milla and elle were so i thought we would see more interactions between prime milla and elle. oh well elle has elize and uncle alvin and the rest of the gang so it's all good but seriously what was that lol

i was expecting the final dungeon to be super long like it usually is with tales games but this one was only like...two sections long? i mean sure it's sort of a maze but honestly it wasn't so bad, and the enemies weren't even that annoying. just kind of disappointing in terms of a final Tales of level.

oh and origin. like, not only his design was kind of weird and uninspiring (the only other Origin from Tales of is the one i saw from Symphonia lol) but it's like c'mon little dude, ludger and elle passed the trial, let them both live!!! just felt like there was a lot of build up to origin and he was just some little kid at the end who made a trial for humanity just 'cus he could. oh well.

anyway!!! i guess my biggest gripes were just the overworld and the dungeons. the story, characters, and gameplay were just so fun and enjoyable, so i would definitely replay this if i had the time (and cry 1000 tears from the ch11 ending UGH). xillia 2 made me love the world from xillia even more, and i DO have a replay of xillia 1 pending since i only played it from jude's perspective, but maybe i will leave that for next year because who can get enough milla maxwell???

with xillia 2 done, i honestly wouldn't be able to say if i prefer 1 over 2 or the other way around. i think they complement each other perfectly, so i'm gonna cheat and say that my ranking for tales games played would stay the same so far lol: symphonia, berseria, abyss, xillia 1/2, symphonia 2, zestiria, arise, vesperia. thank you berseria my beloved for reigniting my love for tales games, otherwise i would have never had the thought of playing through all of these games!!! and now on to phantasia! :)

im obsessed with amamota, and im in BIG oumami hyperfixation hours right now. tenkaemaki is absolutely flawless. harumeno gets me good. (its the kin+comfort character combo.) pekobuki, hinanami, mahibuki. naegiri, naekusaba. ikuzono is so fucking cute. sakuraoi. kuzusouda is hilarious and im biased because of friends. saiibo is adorable, always love some good saiouma... im really into kaimaki (sorry beanie) and oumeno (sorry beanie ×2) because i just think they are neat!!!

I am coming down from a 12 hour panic attack/mental shutdown/depressive episode where I was nonverbal for 8.5 hours, and when I finally started calming down I had to speak with people and stand up and walk and make food for 2 hours. So all in all. Not great.

I mean, there are several, but theyre all highly personal and meh.

So my fam and I spent the last.. 2 months? Or more? Moving 1800 miles across the country. We have 99% of all our stuff in one (1) storage unit that is still at our old town. (We took 1 suitcase and several bags of our stuff. That is it. For months or maybe even a year. Clothes and stuff included.) I had to leave my desktop BUT I have a laptop.

I mean it's literally held together by tape and can't be unplugged and overheats faster than Satan's flambe kitchen in high summer, but it works and I can write so it's mostly good I guess?

And I have my (bad and outofservice) phone, AND ALSO AN AMAZING TABLET SOME FRIENDS COLLABORATED AND BOUGHT FOR ME AND I CAN DRAW ON IT AND I ALREADY HAVE SO MANY PICTURES I CANNOT WAIT TO POST THEM RKSLDNNFJSLSMJFKSLSKDBJDJSKSNDJPAMAJEK

Tumblr is a silly fun way to escape reality but I dont have the energy or mental capacity or time to respond to people if they tag me (unless it's 1 sentence or less but that is still pushing it) or write or anything or even post.

I havent been sleeping well, (lol thanks asthma, allergies, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and altitude y'all are doin amazing) and I had to leave my entire irl friendgroup back home. A lot of them dont have Instagram or ways for me to contact them aside from texting.

We moved to my previous home when I was very small, but it took me almost 12 years to finally feel like I was home. And that was because of the people I met and cherished and loved. I finally had a support network.

And then I got the news we were moving 1800 miles away.

I have left the life i've spent 12 years rebuilding. Heyhey, depression when did you get here? 16 years ago? Dandy.

Long story short, i've been through all the stages of grief already but I'm still on shakey ground. (The anger stage was the fastest? Bc I dont get angry? Except at people who are genuinely bad or disrespectful towards their audience for no reason other than petty revenge or ego. I'm talking about Thomas Austruc, in case it wasnt obvious. Friggin Miraculous...) I accepted what happened, and have accepted it since about 2 weeks after I heard. I accept and adjust to things quickly and easily. Doesnt mean I like it, but I can and do adjust my mindset and lifestyle to the winds of life.

Kinda sucks at times tbh.

Bc my brain shoves the whole messy business of 'processing' side to acknowledge and move on.

Anyways, that's not the point.

Point is, I am mentally royally screwed atm. I am not medicated for any I my issues, (ADD, major depression, multiple severe anxiety issues, to name just a few of the 'nom-physical' issues) which means life is about a billion times harder to exist in. So in short: my online status will be steady but my posts? Only time will tell.

I would like to apologize for everyone who follows me @un-romancible-npc for my Chance Maribat MariDami/Daminette AU, I am working on it, but I'm also aware of my own issues right now. And I can get about... 500 words a week at the most? Because we're so busy and I'm studying for my driver's test (several years late sadly but when you can barely afford food every month it isnt as much of a concern. Dont worry, we're better off now but it's still a struggle.) and organizin everything at home, and looking after my 2 younger siblings and my big bro, who is currently practically bed-ridden and puking his guts out. Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: hhmmm, ok, so i’m not even sure if it classifies as a multi-chapter haha but i think so cus i wrote them as a continuous story in mind haha. i posted the “chapters” separately but i like to imagine it was just one story, Safehouse Sleepovers (consists of Safehouse, Safehouse Singalongs, and Hot chocolate). it’s my only multi-chapter story (not even sure if it classifies as one haha) so de facto most popular one hahaha. oh and it’s essentially a canon compliant post ffh fic bout pj bonding in the parkers’ safehouse hehe. (oh but i guess maybe the newly named airports could also be considered multi-chapter, is 2 chaps enough to call it that? haha so dunno maybe i take back the only mc story thing haha. it’s still the more popular one tho cus airports i wrote before ffh even came out haha)

Story You Were Nervous to Post: ALL BRUHHH i mean im just not that confident with my works yet haha. buttt the one i was rlly the most nervous about was Home for the Holidays cus it was my first time writing with an actual person in mind to write it for haha. plus, it was the first fic i wrote after pj month so oof gods was i rusty by the time i wrote it hahaha haaysst. i think it was ok enough tho. plus they said it was good so yay. im just glad i actually did it haha.

How Do You Choose Your Titles: eh just whatevs i feel is catchy and is a good concise nice indicator of the plot heh. hhmm i feel like i usually come up with titles during the brainstorming process for the fic, like before actually writing it or while writing it.

How Many of Your Stories Are:

Complete: if im counting the “chapters” i mentioned earlier as one story each, then probs round 24. i say probs cus there’s some fics i wrote somewhere, where i feel like i finished em but i dont have access to them currently so im not 100 if it’s complete by my standards or nah haha

In-Progress: hhhhmmm im not sure if it’s write to call these in-progress. i’d rather call em unfinished, like i have 16 unfinished stories, or just written out story outlines. im not sure if i should call em in progress cus im not sure if i even still rlly plan to finish em, yknow? haha like they really are genuinely fun interesting n creative story ideas n plans thus far, i feel. but i just- lazy, yknow? haha i have to build up to writing a story for A LOONGG TIME haha

Upcoming Story You’re Most Excited to Write: oofff im not even sure if im actually gonna wind up writing these buuuut, dancing pj still seems so cute n pure n fun. and also, in addition to the countless other aus my annoying brain came up with on pj month, my brain annoyingly got even more fic ideas rolling around it now:

a moulin rouge au (peter’s the famous singer/dancer known as the spider-man who attracts men and women alike in the famous moulin rouge run by liz toomes with a gallery of other colorful rogues, heroes, villains, and just other sorts of attractive characters based on the comicbooks of old. mj is a young new budding writer looking to gain world experience to write about. she winds up in the moulin rouge, meets the infamous spider-man and gets to know the kind man behind the alluring and mysterious mask. im imagining tom’s lsb, laura’s hollywood, and z’s halloween euphoria ep costume for the aesthetic im going for haha. im still torn on whether to keep the og ending or not hahahaha)

maybe a friends with benefits fic. where it’s not so angsty or full of drama. and genuinely just keeping it cool and chill til they inevitably just decide to actually get together/stay friends. it’s all up in the air and they’ll figure it out when they figure it out.

producers inspired, roommates au. the kdrama did the trope well and it made me want to see it applied to my two dorks 🥺🥺🥺🥺 

lastly, a first time fic for our two dorky virgins hahaha. i kinda like the idea of them planning out their first time to the most minute of details and just the actual process of figuring out what they want to do n stuff haha just seems real cute to me 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

BNHA AU Ideas : Twin Star Runaways

TL;DR:  On the run from houses they never called home, Bakugo and Izuku make some unlikely friends and make the worlds least conventional steps towards being heroes. 

They'll be amazing.

Bakugo and izuku were a little closer than in canon

when izuku's quirk didnt come in bakugo didnt jump straight to being mean and izuku didnt develop like, most of his issues because his best friend didnt abandon him

but everyone turned against the "quirkless weirdo" and when bakugo didnt leave him? they turned on him too

bakugo was a "villain in the making" or was crazy, scary, or "the weirdo's rabid dog" and he tries to play it off, like it doesnt bother him, but izuku gets angry, not that people are talking shit about him, but that they are coming after bakugo just for being a good person

not getting into canon, but in this au mitsuki is really abusive. inko is absent/neglectful because shes upset her husband divorced her and works nights as a nurse

so, the start of junior high, aged 11 and 12, izuku and katsuki run away because honestly anything is better than what they've been living though

as pretty cute kids they get pity food but they look so young no one will employ them

then they meet Touya, who for the sake of this AU is 17 at the time

so dabi runs into these 2 kids that look the same age as his little brother, one of which tried to blow him up within 20 secs of meeting him and the other was hiding behind a dumpster

and hes just like,,, "shit i cant believe i have 2 little brothers now"

that is cemented when he finds out izuku, hiding behind the dumpster? ya boy had a knife and was katsuki's backup

so dabi shows up where he knows these kids hide, he brings them food bc they are getting really thin, brings a new coat for katsuki bc he didnt have anything, teaches izuku how to use his knife better and sharpens it for him

he tells them about stain about corrupt heroes, and about his dad and katsuki and izuku latch onto this

katsuki's mum wished his quirk was "less violent" and that hed never be a hero because he was too scary and izuku's dad threw him away the second he realized his kid was Quirkless

and so izuku and katsuki decide they want to meet stain

dabi gives them some change and his email so they can contact him if they ever need to, and they set out for hosu (why is stain in hosu even tho it doesnt follow canon timelines? because i like hosu and i like tensei)

so in this au, stain skipped forward a bit, attacking hosu in some of his first rounds of hero purging

izuku and katsuki catch wind of a "cover up" by iidaten but izuku quickly realizes it was faked by another hero agency to try and get iidaten’s funding cut

and then they get a terrible feeling because thats the kinda thing that would cause stain to go after a hero so they end up running across hosu every night, taking turns to try and cover tensei as they look for stain

izuku and katsuki find stain over tensei, about to deliver the final blow and katsuki freezes because, stain is really scary and he has a bad vibe around him that almost made endeavour puke

but izuku throws himself inbetween tensei and stain

and stain is a little annoyed, but mostly impressed this scrawny kid is trying to stand up to him but then izuku tells him the scandal was faked and lays out every detail while hes pouring with tears because "ingenium is a good hero chizome"

and stain is like

wAIT WHY DOES A 10 YEAR OLD KNOW MY NAMe

(the answer? Dot connecting, the UA sports festival, and Steinhal. our boy is a smart cookie!)

at this point katsuki snaps out of his fear and tells stain he'll set off the loudest explosion he can manage if he doesnt step away from "one of the real heroes" and stain is honestly? pretty shook

so he does

and he just kinda, vanishes into the night

and izuku and katsuki swear because thats the guy they have been looking for for 2 weeks and they are out of food money and they just wanna get back to mutsutafu already so they start running after him

by the end they are freezing, 1AM and izuku is honestly worried about katsuki bc he gets cold easier because his quirk makes him sweaty even when he isnt hot and stain just takes pity on these kids and just kinda asks them is they have anywhere to go

izuku starts sobbing again because thats the kinda person he is, and katsuki tries to tell stain to go fuck himself but his teeth are chattering so hard he almost bites his tongue

stain just kinda sighs because god these kids remind him of Touya

and he laughs as izuku deadlifts a complaining katsuki and asks stain where hes gonna take them

also please: a subplot in this is tensei trying to work out who the kids that saved his life were

and he finds hospital records of katsuki and izuku for various brusies and broken bones

and sees that they havent been at school for 3 months, but also sees that no missing reports have been filed

and hes really upset because these kids are his little brothers age

anyway, after stain saves them from freezing they tell him ab how they cant be heroes but they wanted to be like him

and stain tells them they would make great heroes anyway and they cry

(at this point the AU changed from what was going to be a villain duo au into a vigilante au because its Soft AU Hours)

so, when they get back to mustutafu they meet up w dabi who says he has a present for izuku

(dabi said he join the leauge if afo gave izuku a quirk, and afo is interested to see how this goes so he said yes)

he would have joined the league anyway but he wanted to do his honorary little bro a solid if he could

afo was read to give izuku a kinda meh quirk honestly because the kid was going to want to be a hero and thats just bad business sense

then he finds out stain is fond of them and he pauses bc, thats pretty odd

then izuku walks in, is greeted by kurogiri and he bows to him bc hes a polite kid and afo is starting to like this child

izuku then tells shigiraki that he likes his shoes and shigiraki looks pleased with himself

so afo turns on the monitor and says hello and izuku pauses for a second and says

"sensei right? are you hurt? Why else would the video be off… oh sorry! I ramble when im nervous"

and afo just kinda,, "oh lord this child is sharp" so he chats with izuku a while and hears about how kids hurt him for being qurikless and afo kinda relates because people tried to murder him for having a quirk in the first place (i then ran through like 30 quirk ideas trying to work out the one I wanted to give him oops)

all for one gifts him the quirk guardian: can create hard light barriers. the more ambient light at the time of creation, the stronger the construct

he has the quirks perfect counter anyway, blackout: remove all light in a area, so hes not worried.

he works with katsuki to create barriers at the moment katsuki lets out explosions to maximise the strength

they start working as vigilanties

these lil baby 12 year olds and dabi is a big concered bro so he gets them some platform boots to make them look taller and masks to hide their voices

they wear big baggy hoodies bc they take them impacts and hide how thin they are

because they work at night they see aizawa a lot and aizawa is kinda confused because they have some pretty legit looking gear (big bro touya) so hes not sure if they are new heroes or not

izuku like, maybe stalked aizawa a little and found out hes a teacher at UA and izuku is so impressed and starstuck over this underground hero

katsuki is just grumbling because hes really impressed too but emotions are lame

izuku gets really hurt and katsuki knows this bitch is in trouble but he doesnt know what to do

katsuki asks eraserhead for help n aizawa is like "what going on??? are you a villain?" and katsuki rips off his mask, and is visible a super underweight 13 year old and aizawa just kinda feels his heart sink

and katsuki is trying not to cry and hes begging aizawa for help and aizawa is like "ahhhh fuuck I have 2 sons now"

vigilantes izuku and katsuki becoming wards of UA bc aizawa found them and has a deep seated hatred of the foster system

and the teachers just kinda accidentally adopt them

they take the ua entrance exam and manage to tie for first place, bakugo is all villain points and izuku got 50/50 rescue/villain points

and they have their letters playing at the same time as they hide in an alley way and the both start crying

because they really can be heroes

9. What is the longest fic you've read?

Okay, so this is a hard question for a few reasons. We talking chapters because then it was this fic called "Dear Mr. Diary" and it's a hilarious story I've read like 5 times and laugh at every time, without fail. First read it when I was in high school with a friend and we just DIED. That was a twilight fanfic though and, oddly enough, the story that opened up the fanfic world to me. Words wise? Longest would be... I have no clue? Probably one of your fics honestly cause, imma be honest, I'm a baaaaaad fanfic reader. I mostly write. Which probably makes me a bad kid. I'm just awful at reading and keeping up with reading. I do better if it's already complete but even then I 10/10 dont go hunting to read a fic because I'll just go write it if I wanna read something in particular?? Gosh that makes me sound horrible and like a total poop nugget of a person. I do miss reading fanfics though. I should get back at it honestly... I'm like a fanfic hoarder where I favorite all these things I INTEND to read and then never end up doing it. I'm a bad kid 😬

32. Fav AU tropes

So I am gonna be honest, I had NO IDEA what a trope was... I didnt know it basically was like a "what if" scenario lol. I guess I'm a morbid kinda bitch because I like the trope of like, "what if this very important character dies from a very serious issue" scenario or like "crazy coincidental car crash" (ooh check out that alliteration my marshmallow chilli babies) situations. I love that crazy stuff. Probably why I have literally written 2 stories about those exact things: The Club, where I legit killed Olga from a brain tumor and Humans Without Wings where I forced Helga and Arnold to get into a car crash with each other. OH and Spaces Between My FiNgers where I killed Arnold's grandpa AND for bonus points there was Autumn Leaves where I straight up like either killed or paralyzed Arnold... I cant remember honestly. I like dark sad things that make me or the author dig deep into the psychological thoughts and actions of a character and why they do what they do and how they react. Maybe that's why when i play sims I torture the people... I'm not a serial killer I promise. Also-- I'm not ALWAYS mean. I really like AU tropes of like ZOMBIE APOCALYPTIC scenarios and I've always wanted to try writing one I've just never thought up a good enough plot for it. Or like just an apocalyptic scenario in general but NOPE. that's still probably traumatic for the characters. I see that now. Hmm. But the trauma stuff really only seems to go for HA! Stuff maybe because it's a kid show? I'm not as mean to my twilight buds aka my main man Embry or Leah or Quil but like... so many of the twilight characters I care about already had tough mean things happen to them because smeyer is mean and racist and sexist so like... maybe give them a break? Like currently I'm putting embry through some tough shit but he kinda needs it but im not killing anyone to dig into his brain like I did helga. I'll be real. That was just mean. I'll admit that. And I always make helga smoke and sometimes try drugs. I made her get divorced once like me... idk sometimes my headcanon involves embry sleeping around and being a lil rebellious cause hes bummed about not imprinting but not quite as bad as what I've put mah girl helga through. I'll shut up now though. I could talk about this for AGES and I'm straight up rambling now. You didn't ask for this.

33. Least favorite AU tropes?

Oh boy. Freaky Friday situations are lame to me? Idk I feel like that's so overdone these days and unless theres something really unique to your idea maybe just dont do it? I'm also gonna drag myself here and say groundhog day scenarios are lame sometimes (yeah, I know, Lindsey-- YOU wrote one of those. It's called "rent a life," you dingus) but to be fair most of them are the same concept and I probably should have left well enough alone but MEH I tried it and I dont regret it but MEH. Whatever. There are a bunch of strange ones in the twilight fandom I cant even begin to start talking about tbh... like I give them props for being creative and stuff but like... idk if it's just me but I'm a pretty canon-y person and YES that series is ULTRA problematic and needs fixing, I AGREEEEEE to the nth degree that is NOT the stuff I'm talking about, it's some of the incredibly straight up bizarre off the wall plots I've read or even been asked about and if you want to know the one I'm referencing, I'll tell you privately. It was... something else. I digress though. AU tropes... honestly those are the only ones I can think of that I dont care for that much. I'll pretty much try anything. I have mostly a hard time if characters are OC or if the plot is SO AU that it makes no logical sense to me... I'm lame I guess idk. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In her second year at Hogwarts Hilda goes running head-first into trouble to defend Elven rights and David with Frida get pulled along as always.

Hogwarts AU. (Hilda is Hufflepuff, David is Gryffindor and Frida is Slytherin).

Hilda Berg always made a lot of noise when it came to magical creatures. Her whole first year at Hogwarts was nothing compared to the second, which held so be called “the Elven Affair”.

It all began in the middle of October when she had seen an elf, dusting a fireplace in the second-floor corridor.

 ….

“What’s your name?” Hilda spoke softly kneeling down to see the tiny elf in red hat closer.

The elf looked up, blinking few times, his eyes wide open, or at least Hilda guessed they were, she couldn’t see his features that well since he was only a few centimeters tall after all.

”Huh?? You-you can see me? Oh silly me, of course she can see you Alfur, she would not be talking to you if she didn’t.“ The tiny man immediately stops talking, his high but not loud voice cracking. He looks even more shocked than before. “Oh goodness, I am babbling now. I am terribly sorry Miss Hilda.”

“Don't you apologize. It's a pleasure to meet you Alfur. How do you know my name?”

“It is my duty to remember all the residents of the castle. We elves take our obligations very seriously.”

“So, you are really brainy."

“You are being most gracious Miss Hilda, but I'm just a simple elf. Memorizing is one of the few things we are good at.”

Hilda frowned, she just didn't like the way this was beginning to sound.

“If I may be so bold to ask, how is it that you can see me, Miss Hilda?”

“It's just Hilda, everyone calls me that.”

“Oh, my apologies, Miss Hil- Hilda the Just.”

Hilda couldn’t help it but giggle.

“I mean you don't need to call me ‘Miss’.”

Alfur looked as shocked and starry-eyed as his little face could be.

“Look what got here; a freak talking to her imaginary friends.” A mocking voice shouts from across the corridor, joined by a wave of laughter.

Hilda scowls, picking up the elf against his protests and set him on her shoulder. Turning around she sees Trevor, one of those Gryffindor boys that she can’t stand, along with some of her other fellow second year students.

 “Just because a troll-brain like you can't see it doesn't mean it isn’t real. Oh, I’m terribly sorry,” Hilda takes a very dramatic pause, “I just insulted all the poor trolls out there by comparing them to you, you doofus.” She turns around and walks out of the corridor and onto the stairs before Trevor gets a chance to think of a comeback or something worse.

She rushed to the Hufflepuff basement, then through the common room and into her dorm room. It's empty, except for her Deerfox, which startles awake, basically leaping up with fright when she storms in.

“I'm so sorry for waking you, Twig"

He looks as annoyed as a Deerfox can.

“I know, I always do that. But now I got a good reason; we have a new friend!"

The Deerfox turns his head to the side as if to ask where.

“Oh, you can't see him from there, right."

Hilda holds her outstretched palm by her shoulder. It only takes few moments for the elf to stop clinging to her neck and hesitantly jump on the palm. Hilda sat on the bed and let Alfur sit between her and Twig. When the Deerfox begins to snarl at the elf, Hilda snarls back until he stops.

“Alfur this is Twig, my pet Deerfox. Twig this is Alfur. He is an elf. Like those that lived around our house, you know, the ones that wanted to evict us.”

“You’re met elves before?” Alfur blurted out excitedly, his pale complexion getting almost as red as his hat.

“We have!” Hilda just smiled back at him “Before Hogwarts my mum and I lived all by ourselves, out in the wilderness. But we were never alone...”

So, she told the story. One that began with an eviction note, continued with lots of paperwork, almost war, and ended with their house getting smashed by a giant foot.

With Alfur sitting on her ear—a place he deemed most comfortable, yet inconspicuous—Hilda stormed through the Great Hall, decisively heading towards the High Table. Alfur, however, had none of her certainty.

“Miss Hilda… I mean Hilda. This is truly not a good idea. I was lucky to get a permission to act as an emissary to students since the only student who can see us elves is yourself. We should not do something so harsh and unprepared. You follow none of the protocols I spoke about and...”

Hilda stubbornly ignored him, instead choosing to stop right in front of headmaster's omelet.

“Good morning, Professor.”

All professors just stared at her, as did most of the students.

“Good morning to you too, Miss Berg.” Dumbledore looked completely stunned for a fraction of a moment, but he managed to cover it well with a jovial smile. “What is so urgent that it couldn't wait until after I enjoy these exclusively made eggs?”

“It, as a matter of fact, is rather urgent. I don't know if you are aware, but there are Elves in this castle.”

“I am well aware Miss Berg,” Dumbledore replied, unmoved by the statement.

Half of the staff looked very much ready to give her a detention right then and there, but Hilda didn't let it scare her off.

 “Well, then I must sadly inform you that elves—those intelligent creatures with a magnificent culture—are used as unpaid slave labor in this very castle,” Hilda announced, probably a lot louder than she needed to.

A murmur broke out at the High table, most of the professors giving Hilda incredulous looks. Alfur’s shocked gasp was so loud it made Hilda’s head jerk, but the most vocal of all was definitely, Professor McGonagall.

“Miss Berg!” Her voice steadily rising, “It’s not your place to –“ She was silenced by headmaster’s risen hand.

“It’s no bother Minerva,” Dumbledore said, as serene as always, “it’s just a little misunderstanding, nothing more. As your little friend can tell you, elves are no slaves of ours.”

He made it sound so reassuring, but it wasn’t enough for Hilda, who had spent the whole night preparing what she would say. However, before she could begin, Dumbledore continued.

“Now, I understand there is a lot you want to know, but why don’t you first ask your elven friend, maybe go to the library. Then you are welcome to ask me anything you’d like.”

Hilda opened her mouth to protest, but a dismissive wave of Dumbledore’s fork and McGonagall’s scowl discouraged her from it. So instead she just turned around with most of her dignity still intact. While walking towards the Hufflepuff table, she felt them all watching her.

 ….

“You confronted the headmaster, are you insane?” Frida whispered as loud as possible. She probably would have yelled, if it wasn’t for Madam Pince giving their table hard stares since they arrived at the library.

“That’s what I told her,” David commented. Hilda had spent most of Gryffindor-Hufflepuff Herbology class telling David all about the elves and occasionally fighting with the elf on her shoulder. At least she said it was an elf because to David it seemed as if she had finally lost her mind and was talking to empty air. Well, at least until the elf spoke right into his ear and made him almost get strangled by a Devil’s Snare.

 “I must agree with your friends, Miss Hilda,” A squeaky voice with no visible owner said. Both Frida and David jumped up a bit.

“That is seriously creepy Hilda,” Frida said, “Can’t he un-invisible himself or something like that?”

Hilda stopped browsing through the four giant books in front of her to think.

“Well back then, elves made themselves visible after I signed some paperwork. So maybe that could work.” She looked at a fifth— smaller, but still giant—book on the table, whose pages were creasing slightly as if tiny feet were walking on them. “Could you do that for them Alfur?”

The squeaky voice was back, “It may be possible. Although my clan has not mastered the sacred art of paperwork, we should still be able to do this. However, to get a hold of that form you must apply for permission, and for that, you must fill a form of stating the requirement, but for that, there is a sixteen-day waiting period, and to get that you must…”

“So, it’s possible?” Hilda cut off his train of thought.

There was a short pause.

“It should be.”

David already knew this would get really complicated, and he knew it wasn’t just paranoia speaking.

I know this was totally meh, but 2 upcoming parts are where party happens.

“Yes, Alice, but i don’t think i still have it here.” You followed him entering your own room. He began looking for it in your closet, in the box where you stored winter clothes and everywhere else he thought where you’d store it.

“There you go!” He squatted up with a blue and white dress already in his hand after a while of wild searching.

“Jeez, i didn’t even know it’s there.” You took the dress from him.

“Wear it.” He walked to your bed and sat at the edge of it. You quickly undressed and put on the thighs before wearing the Alice in the Wonderland dress.

The school was a bit different today. There were a lot of colorful decorations along the hallway, kids were running in various costumes; animals, princesses, dream jobs and many other costumes their mom probably spent the night to made.

“Look! It’s Alice!” A kid with Ariel the mermaid costume shouted when you walked to your class.

Turning around, you saw someone in a suit, complete with a bow tie and a sleek hair do.

“And what are you?” You scanned him from head to toe. “A… prince?” You narrowed your eyes as he walked closer.

“Justin Timberlake.” He put his hand inside his pants pocket before he started walking along with you. You almost laughed at the way he confidently told you who he was today.

“Justin Timberlake?” You asked, holding your giggle.

“Yeah, why? Doesn’t fit me?” He opened his suit jacket, exposing his clothed torso.

Somewhere inside you felt relieved. There was no awkwardness between the two of you after that happened. He didn’t text you nor call you, but at least he was still being himself and didn’t avoid you at school.

“What? Sexy? This is my halloween costume for two years ago, can’t you see it’s almost worn out?” You looked at your dress.

You finally loosened yourself. You actually faked yourself to being calm in front of Changkyun. Like, how can you calm yourself when he looked so good in that suit? No– not just good, but he looked damn sexy in it. Plus, the way he styled his hair, gosh, he looked even more mature than his age.

“Oh– shit.” You put your purse on the table and began the class.

You closed the door behind you and sighed as you leaned on it. Closing your eyes, you shook your head, hoping the dirty thoughts of him fucking you would go away.

The same thing happened to their timeline and they escaped, bumping into Dream. Dream had felt their negative emotions and attempted to try comforting Malachi, eventually convincing them to come to the Justice Reigns castle. There they met Blue and Ink (Greenscreen hadn't been found yet). Despite being comforted by Dream's efforts, Malachi didn't feel this was right and planned to escape. And when they did try escaping, they bumped into Cross and Nightmare. (That's also when Cross and Nightmare originally met- Cross trying to find Ink and Nightmare.. doing whatever he was doing, I can't remember). I can imagine it going like this- Nightmare: Wait do i know you? Cross: LET'S TALK LATER. Nightmare: Not arguing. Malachi: *bursts out of nowhere* IM COMING TOO- (oh boy im laughing xD) Then the trio escaped and Malachi just kind of melted into the group, in a "we met whilst in a dangerous situation and we're somehow friends and not friends and also family in my mind cause i have no family but you're my friends and now i live with you" way. eeeee im getting excited about my own characters lol.

They had no physical form, and were only a rough sketch (as most universes should be at their early stages of development) but Ink soon fixed that. The powers they had already been given in their own AU remained, but this being a different multiverse, different things changed- like Greenscreen being full skeleton instead of half human and half skele, and their personality changed considerably. Aghhhhh i never realised i could draw skeletons before i am proud of my achievements- (also im sorry if the personalities are off in some places.)

a/n: i am back after 2 weeks i am so sorry...as you guys know i had finals for uni, that itself was stressful enough but then after my first exam i got really sick so i couldn’t bring myself to study or write or do anything so i’m really sorry. I FINALLY HAVE A SCENARIO FOR YOU GUYS YAY if you haven’t been to a youth group you can just imagine it as a social gathering where people play games and mingle but if you have i think we can all relate to wanting to meet the cute guy who plays guitar, sings and leads worship. its weird writing this bc im actually a youth leader HAHAHAH well this is something different to my other scenarios but i hope you guys enjoy it :) 

so you’re a high school student and your church has recently had some issues so your family has been looking for a new church to join

so for the past month, you’ve literally been church hopping checking out different youth groups 

and it was just hard to find one where you felt welcomed and really enjoyed it 

so here you were, another friday comes around

and your parents have recently started going to a church saying that the service is really good so they encouraged you to check out the youth group which was on friday nights 

and so you do 

you’re in front of a surprising really modern looking church building 

you took a deep breath and headed in nervously 

you wandered around as it was pretty big inside and finally found the big hall where the youth group was to take place

when you entered you were greeted with loads of loud noise and energy and fairlylights decorated aestheticaly all over the hall

at the front of the room you could also see really professional looking experiments and you thought that the worship here would be really good

the room was also slightly dim creating a nice atmosphere

you were greeted by 3 youth leaders who had a welcome desk set up 

they had name tags on; seongwoo, minhyun and sejeong 

they all stood up and smiled brightly at you

“hello!!! welcome to our youth group!!!” said the girl named sejeong 

“hi uh this is my first time here” you replied nervously

“thats so great we’re so happy you can join us!!” said seongwoo 

“thanks” you replied as you started to be more comfortable around them as they were super friendly and welcoming 

you made some small talk with the three youth leaders and you were surprised at how easygoing and chill they were as most of the past youth leaders you’d encountered weren’t as laidback and harder to talk to 

they gave you a name tag to stick on your sweater and asked what grade you were in 

you told them and they called over the other girls that were in your grade

they came over and were also really nice 

you learned that their names were yoojung, somi, chungha and doyeon 

yoojung and doyeon were from the same school and were  good friends 

somi also recently started coming to the youth group and chungha was introduced by doyeon

they were super lovely and you chatted with them and got to know them before the night officially began 

the girls also pointed out which guys were in your grade 

“there aren’t really any cute guys but they’re all really nice” said chungha as she pointed at a group of guys on the other side of the room 

you weren’t that interested in boys atm so you were like meh 

“oh jaehwan’s the cutest out of all the guys in our grade but he’s a little crazy” said somi

somi looked over at the group of boys “he’s not here yet he’s always running late” 

you didn’t take much notice of what your new friends were saying about jaehwan as you were more focused on settling in 

so the youth group night officially began with prayer etc. etc. 

“ah jaehwan you’re late again” said minhyun who was the youth leader that was the mc

everyone burst into laughter and you turned around catching sight of a boy dumping his stuff at the back of the hall and you could only see his back view

you shrugged and focused to the front 

“ok we’re going to play a game called the chair game..” said minhyun 

you’d played it before so you were excited (basically its a game where everyone has a chair and its in a circle, the person in the middle doesn't have a chair and they have to say a statement e.g. “move if you have been overseas” and then everyone that has been overseas would have  to move to another chair and the last person remaining would be in the middle and it continues by them saying another statement) idk if that makes sense feel free to message me if u didn’t get it and i’ll explain it more coherently lmao

the game started and it was pretty basic and fun and not too crazy 

until.......

someone in the middle was like “move if you are wearing a jacket” 

you were only wearing a sweater so you didn’t have to move but it was hilarious 

bc 10 or so ppl were fighting for seats and when there were only 2 boys left fighting for one chair 

they both rushed to it and one of them started laughing like a psychopath and his laugh echoed throughout the hall as he ran and tried to fight for the chair 

you laughed along as you watched the poor boy with the crazy laugh determined to fight for the last seat 

unfortuately he missed out and fell to the ground as the other boy claimed the seat in victory 

you expected the crazy laughing boy to be pissed off or slightly annoyed but instead he had the brightest smile on his face while still laughing his head off 

“that was a good one sewoon, i admit defeat” said the boy cheekily 

you suddenly had newfound admiration for his sportsmanship and attitude 

“that’s jaehwan,” whispered somi who was next to you 

and when you looked at him, he definitely was a little bit cute 

just as you were eyeing him (well everyone was as he was in the middle) he noticed you and made eye contact with you while smiling cheekily 

“ok hmmmm....move if this is your first time at our youth group” said jaehwan 

you quickly stood up trying to find a chair but you realised you were the only person that was new and jaehwan had sprinted to your chair claiming it as his 

he smiled cheekily at you again and even though you were embarrassed his smile was actually really cute 

so now you were standing in the middle trying to think of a statement 

“WOOOOHOOOOO” cheered jaehwan “WELCOMEEEEEE” he said screamed in a high pitched voice 

everyone else laughed and clapped encouraging you to not be shy and you eventually thought of something and the game went on 

after several more rounds the game ended and it was time for the bible talk 

you were a little distracted as you wondered why jaehwan had singled you out but in reality he just wanted to welcome you and make you more comfortable

plus at youth group he was known for being friends with everyone and taking care of the younger ones too 

the talk was really good and encouraging and you learnt from it 

compared to the other youth groups you’d checked out this was definitely had a great atmosphere and you were able to learn as well 

then it was discussion groups

and then worship 

before issues started arising at your old church you were actually on the worship team and played piano so you curious as to how this church’s worship team was like as the instruments at the front looked quite pricey

minhyun asked the band to come up and you noticed someone familiar go up....jaehwan??

“is that jaehwan?” you whispered to yoojung who was sitting next to you

she nodded, “yeah, he also has a really nice voice” 

you nodded in curiousity as you eyed him go to the centre and take his guitar while standing in front of the microphone

the girl on the piano started and then jaehwan started to sing

and you were blown away 

mostly because was this crazy loud guy with a psychopathic laugh really the same guy that had a voice like an angels?????????

his voice was so pure and beautiful and natural and you happily sang along 

his voice was passionate and you could tell every word he sang he meant it with his heart 

you were so mesmerised by his voice that you didn’t even realise the song ended already 

you didn’t get to talk to jaehwan until youth group ended

it was when your parents came to pick you up and they were talking with another couple

you approached them and the couple started talking to you and asking you how you found it 

they were mr and mrs kim

“oh btw have you met our son?” asked mrs kim 

just as you were about to reply mr kim waved his hands 

“JAEHWAN HERE” 

you were shook bc the ppl your parents were talking to were jaehwan’s parents 

you looked over and jaehwan was pouncing over with a backpack put on at the front and his guitar case swung over his shoulder on his bag y’all pause and take a moment to picture this HOW cUTE WOULD HE BE O M G

he looked like an adorable muffin and you couldn’t help but lowkey fawn over how squishy and cute he looked

“jaehwan have you met y/n? this is her first time here” said mrs kim 

“not exactly” replied jaehwan and he turned to you smiling “hey i’m jaehwan nice to meet you” 

he offered his hand to shake and it was funny bc he had his bag stuck to his chest lmao this boy 

you gladly shook his hand and told him your name

the parents continued talking so you guys continued to talk

“by the way sorry if i made you feel a little uncomfortable during the game” said jaehwan

“nah its fine i enjoyed it” you replied which was true 

“thats good to hear! i just wanted to make you feel welcome we haven’t had a new person in a while so it’s really refreshing and encouraging that you came” said jaehwan

you were honestly touched at his words

“thanks that did help! by the way you were really great at singing and playing the guitar” you complimented him

and you guys started talking about both your fave ccm songs and he learnt that you could play piano too 

he made you promise to show him you playing the piano next time 

you guys talked for a while and it was super comfortable 

sooner than you hoped the parents said it was time to go home 

“oh y/n the kims actually only live two blocks away from us so from now on we’ll be taking turns sending you two to youth group” said your mum 

you and jaehwan smiled in response

you were happy bc that meant more time to get to know jaehwan 

“bye y/n see you next week!!!!” said jaehwan

“see you jaehwan!!!!” 

you knew you definitely wanted to stay at this youth group ^^

best movie? no. room for improvement? yes. a really good movie overall and the characters were good and made overall good/decently logical choices? absolutely.

 fin good. i love him. and the obvious hint he can use the force is 10/10 he did so much work in this movie. i like poe/fin or rey/fin. or all three together, fuck it, they all hugged in the end anyways

poe is good he’s a good boy him and finn are so good. poe gets a lot of development and care and we love that he struggles but loves his friends and wins in the end by believing in others to come. (he did think they lost but only for a second. he was proven right that people would come. thanks lando we appreciate you here.)

rey is amazing and her growth/struggle is great i love that she’s a palpatine that’s so metal. and she stays good oough yess. palpatine wins in the end? or at least A palpatine? the only survivor? no more sith OR jedi. just. rey palpatine and any other new force users like fin. FINALLLY, evil wins! kinda lmao hahhaahhaha

i like how technically the series stared with palpatine and ended with rey. 

it started with a slave child in the desert (anakin) who became dark, and ended with a child soldier in the dark who became light at the end (ben)

shut tf up. either he possesses rey once she killed him, or he sucks the life outta her and restores himself once he found out about that bond power with ben or force healing whatever it was if she refused (like he did), or just kills her and sends his troops out to take everything over like. that’s not a bad plan bro. he wins either way. the only reason he lost is because the dummy killed himself with his own force lighting (AGAIN, DIDNT YOU LEARN FROM EPISODE 3 OLD MAN????). she did not strike him down, she defended. he killed himself, technically. she pulled a luke in that sense. it was not the jedi way. (though i guess by the end she is neither sith nor jedi)

plus he made an armada in secret the man was geared for success and had access to cloning tech too, as shown by snoke. if he couldnt have rey, he would have cloned himself or some shit. he has space voodoo, the man is scary and i love him for it.

ben was. ok. kylo was much more intimidating and straight forward with his actions at least. and ben switching sides made sense. what i didnt like was his ending very much. why tf did he and rey kiss????? they were enemies for 2 and 3/4 movies. they didnt even speak until he showed up to help fight palpatine. 

there is a bit of tension but not romantic whatever, he just poofed once he resurrected rey anyways. rip all skywalkers 2019

side tangent bc i’ve been seeing some fans crying over ben’s death, which i get it if you are a big fan of him:

((i guess i was just way more invested into rey as a character than ben solo. he was. there. he was alright, i could see the struggle but the tone-shift from TLJ really threw things wack and i just ended up not caring too much when he died unforntuately. i wish i did more. i mean it was sad, it would have been neat if he lived, but i kinda saw it coming as soon as rey “died”

im like, oh, he’s gonna climb up bc of course he’s fine and then save her since he saw her use force healing, so he’s gonna try it. he’s resurrecting the dead so it’s either gonna kill him or really make him weak. we got the former so. yeah. it was anticipated kinda. leia dying was much more emotional for me i guess. the love between her and her son was way more impactful than ben and rey. 

like i said!! they were enemies for so long!! he tried to reach out, but he was a slimey dark side bitch who was trying to convert her and she knew it and wasnt down with that shit!! that aint romantic ya’ll!! christ! he was only good for 20 minutes before he died and they didnt even talk before he just showed up! if they had more time really getting into it and if he was good and reached out to her to talk, that would have been way better and more convincing is all im saying. 

sure they fought together on snoke’s ship and talked, but it was still very. scary for rey. and then he attacked her friends and rebellion again! bitch, why did she kiss him!?

nothing against reylo shippers, i really dont care, that’s your business, i personally enjoy fin/rey much more, im just saying it seems forced in this situation. they tried to kill each other so many times. that’s animosity, not love.))

WHERE WAS ANAKIN AND OBI FORCE GHOST UGH. at least we got all of the voices of the jedi past helping rey in the climax that was awesome (including jin, obi, yoda, anakin, luke, leia, ect)

yeah also rip leia. she should have died in the second movie but she was good in this and it really hit the feels since carrie is... dead for real.

luke was good in this!!!! helpful boy!!! nice boy!!! i liked the flash back to when he trained leia it was so sweet to see them young again, if only for a moment.

the han solo scene was good ough my heart. 

all of the character’s choices were overall good and made sense in the scheme of things, everything was streamlined bc it had to be.

it kinda felt like 2 movies crammed into 1 but it kinda worked and that makes sense bc of TLJ’s.... choices and changes in direction. 

i dont think this movie was a train wreck. it’d place it as my 3rd fav star wars movie. for now, i may shift things around but you get the idea.
