I'm so heartbroken after reading the news about Bale's retirement.
Remember watching that game against Inter when he scored a hattrick. That moment made me a Spurs fan.
He broke my heart when he went to Real Madrid (I'm a Barca fan) but still was proud of his achievements. That goal in the Copa del Rey final? Absolutely iconic and I wasn't even mad about it.
He made me a Wales fan. He and his team made me fell in love with Wales and I was truly happy with their Euro 2016 run.
That goal in the Champions League final against Liverpool? Absolutely legendary.
I was extremely happy with his loan to Spurs. He wasn't playing much and made me so happy to watch him in a lilywhite shirt again.
I wasn't thinking we'll see him at least until next euros. That this will be his last dance...

I highly recommend everyone having pen pals.
It’s such a wonderful experience! The shear joy and fun of picking out cute little items and treats to send in the mail that either reminds you of your friend or what they might like. Writing letters and sending cute little drawings and getting to actually hold what they create in your hands and treasuring it forever. Hoping for the day you get to meet them in person and that even though you live far away from them, they still mean a lot to you and how you can show that through your letters and packages. 💌
