OOOHHH hmmm i have so many favourites... u give me fluff vibes so i'll give u one of my fav fluff tropes!! couch scenes :)) like when it's movie night and two characters are on the couch and one falls asleep on the other... ough... i LOVE that trope so much. more specifically i just love the. trust that comes with feeling safe enough around another person that one can fall asleep around them. so yeah i love the specific flavour of it being a couch scene but tbh it's more just about the trope of a character falling asleep around another character. and yes :)) this is def one of my fav tropes to read omfg

the overarching watcher hate is so justified and hilarious, they really just exist to be the most obnoxious and toxic livestream chat ever. at least, the ones who hang around jimmy are LMAO

AHA i’m glad u liked the part abt jimmy not liking to cry, i’ve been told he’s got a bit of a prideful streak in other series that didn’t come thru as much in his double life run, so that was a little nod to it.

and YUP i got a lotta good username ideas from those suggestions. and it WAS very difficult to keep track of them all thru the chat backlog. i don’t know how long i spent going thru each player’s sequence of events, one by one, JUST to make sure i hadn’t forgotten to have someone die for the last time, or show up again without a new join message.

and unfortunately for jimmy he made the classic error of “typo in the group chat.” joel did what he had to 🫡 (buuuut once he saw how serious the situation was, he decided not to push it anymore)

atlas is a clever bastard and i love that yall love to hate him 🙏 he saw a virtual ocean of wolves storming down the hill and was like “ok clearly i’m not dealing with that, so let’s see where my efforts can be better spent.” the hired grunts don’t possess that kind of critical thought 🎻

like all patty’s doppelganger/henry saying “what are you” to her in the bathroom/“girl from nowhere” stuff vs “even Maria isn't really sure what or who she really is, but by the time she first encounters James, she is beginning to "remember" him.”

Maria “remembering” james vs the weird “connection” between patty and henry… and “it could also be assumed that Maria is one of James's wishes, since Mary, in her bedridden state, wasn't everything James wanted. It could also reference James's wish to see his wife again, even if it is only as an illusion.

Cumulatively, Maria was likely constructed by a combination of James's delusions as a result of his inability to bear the weight of the crime of killing his wife, and Mary's lingering clinginess and desperate desire to be the perfect wife. It is also possible Maria was created by the powers of the town to test James's loyalty and devotion to Mary.

Another theory likens Maria to a guardian angel of some sort. This could be evidence by her desire to help Ernest Baldwin move on, assisting James to realize the truth, her desire to protect Laura, her working at "Heaven's" Night, and the Lady of the Door (who is claimed to be an angel), as Maria is killed by Pyramid Head after entering the door.

However, it is also possible that Maria is a negative being such as a monster, female demon or succubus, meant to punish James by keeping him trapped in a sort of purgatory. Evidence which could support this reading can be found in Maria's apparent illness (which the game points out twice) and her repeated reincarnations after violent deaths, which has an obvious distressing impact upon James. If this is the case, the monstrous final boss could be interpreted as Maria. Pyramid Head and Maria also both have tentacle-like appendages.”

All of that vs patty’s angel imagery but also her creature imagery and james henryglock’s (not james silent hill) big post wip and GHRHRBF !!! Like theres So much more to say re: maria and patty vs james and henry but im soo sleepy rn… thinking about how maria constantly reminds james that shes “real”…. And maria Specifically hating being alone/talking about that repeatedly vs patty talking about how she doesnt want to be alone again and talking repeatedly about being lonely.. and Born From a Wish Maria having no idea where she’s from or how she got to silent hill vs patty being the “girl from nowhere”…

And also forever haunted by the way patty swaps personality wise/regular patty vs bathroom scene patty etc etc vs a.) maria doing the same sort of thing but also b.) ernest telljng maris to watch out for james because he’s a “bad man” because hes “looking for the you that isnt you” vs pattys “this isnt you” line in tfs to henry but also the scenes i just mentioned where patty isnt acting like Herself and that way both patty *and* henry do that/the way they Both get a “what are you” line said By eachtoher To eachother vs it being very similar with maria and james re: POV fuckery and the “wrong” version of people/james seeing maria doing bad things from his pov vs maria seeing james as doing bad things from her pov vs all the silent hill weirdness and the fact that the versions of eachother they were seeing werent the “real” versions because of all the pov And illusion fuckery…

And something about “mary” vs “maria” and Mary being the original/james’ actual wife vs maria not being her but having her memories & partially being manifested from her/from james’ memories of her and “patty” vs “patricia” and the same sort of idea there and just rgrhrhrh and like those excerpts from earlier talk about maria being entirely a manifestation/“not real” but then theres also another section of the wiki talking about the possibility of her being real/the “real” maria & wiki aside even theres the stuff with ernest and maria and the idea of silent hill maria having the “real” maria’s memories of her convo with ernest (since nobody else besides james can see the “fake”/ silent hill maria, including laura, so the maria ernest was talking to Was “Real”) vs the possibility of “fake” and “real” maria being one and the same/the idea that maria was also a “real” person in silent hill, like james, but then got muddled by his POV/what i described earlier about how they both seem Weird to eachother from their own POVs & how there def seems to be more to maria than Just being a figment of james’ mind since she wouldnt have that stuff with ernest if she was just always solely a figment vs smthn i was talking about the other day/am working on a post about re: patty’s “crossing between worlds” references & all the references in st regarding crossover between “fake” worlds into “real” worlds and vice versa & the idea that “fake” tfs patty & “real” patty might be one and the same…

OK now i know why ppl dont drive stick... soooo fkn scary today for realll. i mean idk its just hoorrifying . i wanna learn and like nothings changed i just need to practice more but driving to the mall today was soo scary honestly tho the most horrifying thing was me having trouble getting my rear view mirros right LOL like i was scared for my life when i noticed i pulled to the side and went in a parking lot to fix them to the best of my ability. i think its good now but even aside from that eveyrhint is so scary ._. also was at the mall for like 3 hrs cause the ppl i was sellign the stuff to were like “honestly the longest itll take us to look thru your stuff will be like at most an hour we’ll text u when we’re done” then like 2 hrs went by and i asked them and they were like “ohhh yaa we totally forgot abt yours uhhh we’ll do it rn” -_- so i was rly there for a long time and ran out of things to do and was sleepy n shit. im so sleepy rn but have to pick up my sister in a hour or so T-T either way i learned i dont think im quite ready to go thru big streets yet n stufff i still need lots of practice was def like the fight for my life there anyways literally jam packed exhausting day today just got home and only get like an hour of relaxing before having to drive again! soooo sleepy i mean i think i could do it soon i just have to rly practice and not get nervous n stuff the fact they had me standing there for three hours rly made me tired and made the drive home real nerve wracking. deff lots of practice  i need to do n stuff but like all things considered i did well. looked it up and u can go from neutral to 2nd if the car hasnt slowed down enough to be in first so thats neat to kno hopefully thatll save me lol. like thats what i was messing up w/ but like idk i did it and survived! lol. i think only 1 guy honked at me when the car rocked a bit but i think he just did that cause he was like wtf dude lol. or cause i didnt shift into 2nd quick enough so he wanted me to go faster. tho like yaaa also greaet finds today for average prices at book off got get yer ya yas out on CD :D and singular adventures of style council fuuuuck yea. they werent there last time i went so they mustve just been put out and both great things i really have been looking for literally just listened to ya yas on yt the other day ive rly been in a stones mick taylor mood lately
