8. Hi! I'm looking for this fic where wwx and lwj are thrown into an arranged marriage together, and don't know each other. Wwx is generally happy and excited, and lwj sees this and immediately hates him, bcoz he wanted a calm, quiet spouse to live with. The whole thing is orchestrated by Madam Yu, who basically abandons wwx at cloud recesses bcoz she figures he would be miserable here. Lwj doesn't like him to or try to understand him, so wwx slowly gets more and more depressed and suicidal, kind of as a parallel to Madam lan. I think he tries teaching for a while, and he's very good at it, but the elders step in and claim he's corrupting the children, so that's that. He finds the yin iron, and plans to destroy it worth a circle that will also take him out along with it, but before he can go through with the plan lwj realises how depressed he is and starts making an effort to help him. The fic ends with lwj offering to run away from cloud recesses with him, and wwx telling him no, he doesn't want to be some sort of shameful indulgence, if lwj really wants him he'll stay and fight with the elders on his behalf @arsonistbydaylibrarianbynight

9. Hi! For the next Fic Finder, I’ve been trying to find a fic where LWJ leaves the CR to go help WWX in the Burial Mounds. It kind of starts of with LWJ and WWX confrontation after WWX rescues the Wens. There’s a sequence where LWJ is gathering stuff to take to the Burial Mounds. Then in later chapters it’s LXC, LQR, and a couple of Lan Elders going to Yiling to try and bring LWJ back to the CR. They find him in Yiling, selling produce, only to discover that LWJ is living a happy life with WWX and is no longer following Gusu Lan’s rules as he lets a bunch of kids decorate his hair. Sorry this is super long. I can remember what happens in the fic, but for the life of me I can’t remember the title. Thanks a bunch!

11. Hi! This is for fic finder. I honestly dont remember if it was a fanfic from this fandom or a chinese bl novel i red years ago. It didnt help that i dont remember much of the story. I will call them mc and ml (if it was a fanfic, wwx is the mc). They are an actor. The mc got a big role and there are a sex scene in the film with the ml. And then the mc catch a feeling to the ml. The plot of the movie they shoot is where the mc always running away. The movie plot kinda resobate with the mc feeleng. And the writting style is tell a twi stoey. The movie plot and the fic. Long story short, the mc get kidnapped. I dont remember if its trully happen or the movies's plot but i think the mc was genuinely kidnapped. The kidnapping is meticulous that make people tell the ml to brace himself for the worst case scenario. The ml helped to find the mc. In the end, the mc is found but in the bad shape. Near the end of the story, they are in shooting where the plot is the ml found the mc. They hugged and the staff say that it feels genuine.

like. dude im just so tired. were understaffed and overworked and underpaid. am i talking about my workplace or every work place. hiring freezes no ones hiring everyones quitting because the job is so exhausting and the higher ups dont care about the people they exploit because they think were all replaceable. if you want to get anywhere or get a higher wage you have to move up in the company but that takes away workers from the place youre already working in and then they have to scramble to replace you and run everyone else into the ground. for dirt wages. i want to spend time with my friends i want to be there for the people who need me i want to go out to bars with people and get drunk and be stupid i want to get high and spend intimate time with my fiancee i want to have time and energy to cook dinner every night i want time and energy to draw more i want the motivation to write back i want the time to go to church every month again i want the time to go to rituals and pagan holiday parties again i want to have the time to do crochet again i want the energy to do anything but get high and watch youtube and feel exhausted.

#i know its not productive to wallow in the exhaustion and sadness.#but it sometimes just. feels so endless lmao #i do have stuff im looking forward to!! roadtrip at the end of may to see jay and wonder. but i can only afford to be away from work #but i can only afford to be away from work for so long #same with my trip in august. if i could afford to go for more than a week i would. in a heartbeat #but i cant.

Austin finally took a deep breath, the last few days had been an absolute blur. Packing his bags, visiting his parents, ordering and arranging all the flights, but it would all be worth it once they got there.

Tiffany, his beautiful wife, would now get proposed to in Spain, at one of their best restaurant, El Pico. She laid her head full of Lucious brown locks beside him now, their flight from Australia, their home would take almost a full day, plus airport time and settling in and such.

Either way it was worth it, she had always dreamed of Spain, he didn't know what made her love their culture so much, but she did, and he would be the one to take her there. Fulfill his darlings dreams.

The majority of the flight was over, at least he thought it was. They had served them 3 meals already, meaning the day had flew past. The served waffles, eggs and chicken for breakfast, Austin was allergic to eggs so he just had waffles, but either way, their first class meal was delicious.

Lunch and Dinner followed, Quesidillas, chicken or beef, along with fried beans and rice. Then for Dinner, they had steak and potatoes, the smell of the meat still lingering in the air. Tiffany had fallen asleep shortly after finishing it, her head resting in his lap. Her twirled her brown curls in his finger, pulling the knitted blanket over her arms, and then resting his arm on her side.

3 hours later, the plan landed, and he had to wake her up.

The Next Morning

Austin woke up first, Tiffany was always a late sleeper, getting sleep anywhere and everywhere. His brown bunny, snored softly, as he eased out of the bed, and headed to the balcony. It was around 11:00 in morning, but he was still slightly tired, the jet lag was really killing him.

After staring at the coast for a while, he returned inside, he found the bed empty, and he heard a bunch of rattling in the bathroom. He found his soon to be wife, already munching in the morning in between brushing her teeth.

"You know the point of brushing them is to get the food out of your teeth. If you eat while doing it, it defeats the purpose."

Tiffany turned to him, putting the bag of chips on the counter, she spit the toothpaste out before rinsing it out in the sink. "The last time I checked, I didn't need you to argue my brushing methods. Keep all the lawyery stuff at work."

Austin paused, before he could come up with a combat she spoke again, "That is unless you want me to start giving you a bunch of mental health and therapy talk when we are trying to have a romantic moment." He chuckled.

He passed the bar, and the Lsats, he was hired a big firm two years ago, he met Tiffany, a budding therapist, Dr. Monty. With his junior partner check, he bought this trip, could it get any better?

"Whatever you say, Dr. Monty" Austin raised his hands in surrender, getting a judging look from his girlfriend, then quickly dodging a fast thrown hairbrush.

El Pico, English for the peak, one of the best coastal restaurants in Spain. Tiffany had raving over this place for the second half of her live, around 6 years of it she had known Austin. Now dress in a tux, he was more than happy to guide her and in have her seated across from him.

Her long curls dropped behind her back, her bright blue eyes, complemented her dazzling turquoise dress. She was all he could look at, he wanted for nothing else.

Her ring weighed in his pocket, he would propose to her after feeding her cheesecake, her favorite desert in the world. He participated in the small, not really catching much of anything, only looking at her lips, nodding and smiling. When desert time came, he cupped the ring box in his pocket. Unfortunately for him he never had the chance to say a world.

A bullet grazed his shoulder, flying straight into his soon to be wife.

(So this is the first part kinda like background I guess, so there is no whump unfortunately, but everything following will have some sort of whump and Im already giggling in anticipation. See y'all soon

Cash wiped his eyes, The music was giving him a headache. He stood at his post next to the bar. There wasn’t a fight tonight so cash got to work upstairs in the club.

He watched drinks being served. Making sure none of them got spiked. He saw people drinking and having fun with each other, something he hadn’t done in a long time.

He leaned up against the wall and pulled out his phone.

11:40pm

Cash put his phone back in his pocket with a small growl. His replacement was meant to be here ten minutes ago.

A tired sigh escaped his maw. Tomorrow was Sunday. The thought of sleeping in tomorrow made him even more tired. But now he had plans on Sundays, buying groceries for two and seeing Shelby.

Cash flinched as he felt someone tap his shoulder. He couldn’t hear them coming, the music was too loud. They wore the same uniform as him.

“Ay, you can go on break now.” They said

“Thanks.” Cash said as he walked off.

He walked around the dance floor. The loud music and flashing lights made his head throb. In the wall behind the DJ booth was a white door. He took the keys he had in his pocket and opened the it.

The bright light of the break room hurt his eyes as he walked in and looked around for a place to sit. Most of the tables had people sitting at them so he sat at the emptiest table he could find. He rested his head in his paws. He shot a glance at who he was sitting with. He was nothing he had ever seen before.

He had a canine-like head with ears shaped like pointy half circles. His fur was a warm brown with a cream colored mouth and Spots covered his face and neck.

But his most notable feature was his hair. Thick red hair sprouted from between his ears and ran down his neck into his shirt

Cash looked at the papers he had in his paws. They were lists of things. Vodka, water, tequila, etc. just a bunch of drinks with costs next to them. All the papers looked like this

The guy wrote in a notebook, seemingly taking notes of everything

What are you? You don’t look like a wolf. Too big to be a fox… what are you doing-

The guy looked up, meeting Cash's gaze.

Shit, was I staring?

Cash quickly looked away, embarrassed. “sorry.” He whispered.

The guy chuckled “it’s okay.” His chuckle was weird. It was a throaty sound that didn’t Match his raspy voice.

His voice… It was so familiar.

“I’m a hyena, if that was what you were wondering.” He continued.

“Oh. I've Never met a hyena before.” Cash mumbled

“Heh, I get that a lot.” He smiled “I’m guessing you're a leopard?”

A leopard, something cash was often mistaken with. It was wrong of course. “No, I’m a jaguar.”

“Ooooo, never met a jaguar before!” He said as he looked at another one of his papers

His voice, where was it from?

Cash fiddled with his paws. Should I ask? He looks busy with all his papers. Meh it wasn’t important anyways.

“Oh! Weren’t you one of the security guards in the basement the other day?”

“Oh, uh yeah.”

“I saw you break up that fight. You're fast!”

Cash’s ear twitched “You were there?”

“Yeah! I was the announcer. Didn’t you hear?”

“Oh that was you?”

“Uh huh! It's probably a one time thing tho…”

“Is That’s not your job?”

“Nah, I’m an accountant.” He said as he held up His papers. “You think they would hire someone just to talk over the speakers?” he asked, not a hint of spite in his voice

“Uh, I don't know.” Cash shrugged, feeling a little stupid

He pulled out his phone and opened a note app.

Lettuce, apples, pork…maybe some fish? Cash thought as he typed. He typed slowly, always correcting his spelling.

His grocery list was coming along well, But his headache wasn't going anywhere. He rubbed his head, letting out a small groan as he did, catching the attention of the hyena.

“You okay?” he asked

Cash rubbed his eyes “yeah, im fine.”

“You don't look fine.” he said as he put down his papers.

Why don’t you mind your business?

“It's just a headache, I'll be fine.” Cash mumbled.

“Oh you should rest then.”

“can't, I have stuff to do.” Cash groned

“Like what?”

“Budget stuff.”

The hyenas yellow eyes lit up “budgeting? I'm good at that! I can do it for you if you want.”

Cash raised an eyebrow “For free?”

“Sure!”

Cash handed the hyena his phone and put his head down in his arms. He watched him as he quickly typed. Cash wasn’t taking his eyes off his phone.

“Why are you doing your work here? Don’t you have like, an office or something?” Cash asked

“Oh yeah I do. But my manager doesn’t want me there. She said I talk too much, so I come to the break room to work and talk with whoever I can find.”

I see where she’s coming from

“Ah, okay.”

“So what’s your budget?”

“Right now, most I can do is 150$”

“For all this? Heh heh, don’t worry I’ll figure something out. A lot of this stuff you can get from a farmers market, that’ll save you some. Hmm, but the meat you can just get from a supermarket.”

“…”

“Oh! I can also price everything and tell you where to get them. So the lettuce is gonna be that and the chicken…” the hyena trailed off into a whisper. “What kind of lettuce do you want?”

“Romaine.”

“Alright… heh, you don’t talk much, do you?”

“…”

The hyena chuckled as he kept typing.

The sound of him typing everything was so calming. Cash’s ears focused on the sound and slowly began to drown out the loud music from outside. He ran his fingers down his arm, they felt soft and warm to the touch. He nestled his face into them. The room slowly became dark as he closed his eyes

“Done!”

Cash jumped as he quickly opened his eyes. “Huh?”

The hyena laughed, flashing his huge teeth in a toothy grin. “I’m done budgeting your groceries for you.” He handed him back his phone

Ugh, Did I fall asleep? In public?

Cash took back his phone and patted his pockets, making sure no one had taken his wallet or keys. Thankfully, everything was still there.

Cash felt his eyes widen as he scrolled through his notes.

Wow. Everything is priced and labeled. Damn, he even said where to get the stuff and what brand.

“So after you get everything your total should be around 90$ - 120$. It varies depending on the weight of some items but it should all fit within your budget.”

“Huh, I didn’t expect you to go into so much detail, thank you.”

Cash glanced at the time. It was 12:00 am

“Oh, my break is over.” Cash said as he stood.

“Thank you uhhh… what’s your name?”

“Hena!”

Cash cocked his head “Hena the hyena?”

“Yeah…” Hena sighed. “Obviously I didn’t choose it.”

“I’m Cash.”

“It was nice meeting you, Cash!”

“You too!” Cash gave Hena a gentle wave as he walked out the room.

Cash wiped away the small smile he had on his face, not wanting anyone to see it.

He stood back at his post. His headache wasn’t gone, but he was feeling a bit better. The thought of having his grocery list planned out was nice.

He folded his arms as he leaned up against the wall.

Hena… talks too much. Nice guy though.
