i am on day 3? anywho i think i missed some stuff from day 1 bc i guess it based on real time- which i have no clue like how the timing works on this but whatever.

i am NOT here for the cat slander 😤 just bc the weird capitalist guy has a cat shouldn't mean that aLL THE OTHER CHARACTERS SHOULD HAVE A VENDETTA AGAINST CATS ???

anywho i figured out there's different routes and stuff? so this is gonna be a lot more involved than i expected 🥴 but wHATEVEr i'm going for Jaehee first she deserves better- ALSO MY EXCITEMENT WHEN I REALIZED SHE WAS AN OPTION??? OFF THE CHARTS.

there's apparently seven endings each??? or maybe i'm misinterpreting the "0/7" thingy. im trying to stay away from any spoilers bc i haven't been able to play something 100% genuinely blind in a LOOOONG time- but my small goblin brain wants all the answers immediately.

also from the way the game reads, it definitely aged! very much the way i typed in middle school, but i like the nostalgia :)

who TF is unknown and why am i involved in any of this,,,

CURRENT THEORIES:

yoosung seems weirdly suspicious of V and it's MAKING ME SUSPICIOUS TOOOOOOOO. ive honestly convinced myself that V killed Rika and then like ... idfk ... i haven't gotten far on this theory lmao

i'm simultaneously convinced that someone killed Rika, but also that she's just fully not dead and SHE'S unknown- i mean everyone made it overwhelmingly clear ONLY rika knew the apartment code. "but unknown just found her phone-!" EASY EXCUSE. I KNOW YOURE ALIVE BITCH.

PREDICTIONS

I'm assuming they're not going to leave the characters TOO flat, otherwise i'll be... so disappointed... so i'm gonna predict their character arcs/~big reveals~

yoosung probably games so much as a form of escapism (or maybe he used to play it w/ rika a lot?) also i'm guessing he's prolly a bit resentful that everyone looks at him as a child

zen ... i bet this man is SO insecure. maybe that's why he doesn't like capitalist man, because he seems so self confident?

jumin- i fully had to look up his name :,) -probably has daddy issues. he's entitled and has never faced a problem that he couldn't just pay to get rid of. this isn't a prediction but i just don't like him. i stan elizabeth the third though

jaehee is my wife ;-; i hoPE her arc is that she finally gets thru to capitalist man and makes him understand, or that she understands that she's WORTH SO MUCH MORE AND QUITS HER JOB !!! also i stg if it turns out she's NOT a datable option and her ending is a "friendship" route i WILL be going on a rampage

V has a secretttttt, but i wonder if it's like... a secret that he's hiding for selfish reasons or not? like the difference between 'i know the truth and im hiding it to avoid consequences" or "i know the truth and im hiding it to protect the RFA"

707 is a wild card i got no predictions on him lmao. although i did read somewhere i should do his route last, bc it reveals the most information?? so i predict his route is more following him while he uncovers the truth, rather than he knew the truth all along... if that makes sense

i also wonder if this game is gonna stay a lil silly goofy and lighthearted (...other than the dead girl thing) or if it's gonna have some weird twist. i have trust issues after doki doki literature club 😭

My answer is kinda biased since I do love Ray and V is sort of like meh to me, his route was the one where I most suffered

Hmm...

I would have to say Ray’s AE, because let’s see:

In Vs AE:

The twins do get to meet up again, but the agency Saeyoung works for is still active

In the forgive ending Rika does expose the Prime Minister and his crimes, yet nothing is concluded about him. We don’t know if he now tries to kill the twins once again, or if he manages to get over that bump in the road and becomes president

V does manage to get a better understanding of himself in both endings and is happy :D

Jumin becomes an alcoholic in both endings :(

In the judge ending Rika actually goes into a COMA, which honestly I don’t think it’s the best option for her????

Yoosung goes into psychology, which is something once again he is studying because of Rika (remember that when he wanted to become a vet it was also because of Rika)

In the forgive ending Rika doesn’t really face any legal repercussions, and ends up doing some sort of charity I guess? The thing is she starts up doing some ACTUAL good which I actually really like (she still should face some legal stuff tho pft)

Saeran also gets to see his brother and becomes a better person since now he isn’t under the influence of Rika and bad drugs and stuff, I think that’s great! :D

In Ray’s AE:

Rika and V both face legal repercussions (which I think it’s fine, and V does does get off with less since it was basically Rika that did most of the crimes. V was more of an accomplice in a way? Anyway the thing is V does face the consequences but not as strongly as Rika which I think it’s fine because he doesn’t really deserve super big consequences like Rika.)

Like Vs AE, Rika does admit and realize that what she did is wrong (like in the forgive ending.) although in Ray’s we can see her owning up for more and actually trying to actively change (I guess in Vs AE the forgive ending we could say the same thing happens.)

The twins both manage to reunite, like in Vs AE. Although Saeran does manage to speak to his father, which I honestly think it’s something big for him. After all, he got to speak to someone who’s been hurting him for his whole life. And I think it’s really important for him to get some sort of closure with him.

Both the prime minister and the agency are gone for good

Jumin realizes that he actually wants love in his life...which I think it’s one of the things that I feel it’s better in Ray’s AE. Remember that in Vs he becomes even MORE closed off and becomes an alcoholic. In Ray’s though, he realizes that there’s more to life, that he’s actually allowed to express himself and that hey, maybe love isn’t as bad as he thought it was. Which I think is a HUGE step for our boy 🥺

Yoosung ends up studying something that he’s really passionate about (he said he really like baking and such, which I think it’s great bc the other things he chose were closely related to Rika. This is something he chose on his own!)

VANDERWOOD ALSO GETS TO BE A PART OFTHE RFA AND TO VISIT HIS OWN FAMILY YAYYYYYY

Saeran also learns a lot about himself. He gets so much character development that I just think it’s AMAZING

Zen also becomes pretty famous and appears on Broadway ‘Cats’ he’s probably the Rumtumtun (is that how he’s called? I’ve only seen the show once IM SORRY) lmao

Jaehee does still work with Jumin but she does imply that at one point she may quit and start her own life :D

We don’t get much conclusion about V and Rika though, and I’d like to know if she did start a better and purer charity thingie like in Vs AE.

Also V is just...I think he’s just super depressed or something. I mean he was acting weird the whole time and we don’t know what happens to him :( I hope he at least gets some help.

In my opinion, if we want to see actually who ends up happier in what ending, I’d have to say that in Ray’s. Not only because he’s my favorite but we can see that even more people are happier than in V’s. In V’s the agency is still active, we don’t really know what happened with the prime minister and Jumin ends up an alcoholic :(. In Ray’s though, Jumin ends up emotionally healthier, Yoosung studies something he likes, Zen gets to be a Broadway star, the twins are happy,VANDERWOOD IS HAPPY YAYYY and we could say Jaehee is chill. The only ones that are sort of meh is Rika and V,although if we see how much Rika had changed her way of thinking, I like to imagine that she ended up doing good like in Vs, and thus ended up happy :D

• 100% they’re the friends that literally everyone is always pressing that they’re a couple in secret

• But they’re genuinely just? really good friends?

• You know that Zen is constantly asking Jaehee to come over to critique his performances to see how he can improve and what his fans are wanting to see next

• Just how Jaehee seeks Zen’s advice on learning how to relax every once and a while and not stress over every little thing (since Jumin literally destroyed her ability to take some time to herself)

• They also fiercely defend each other, and it becomes more prominent after Jaehee leaves her job as Jumin’s assistant (which is why everyone thinks they’re a couple

• We all know that Zen would try his absolute hardest to get Yoosung away from his computer and out into the real world

• Zen understands that LOLOL is Yoosung’s way to cope with his loss for Rika; but he just wants what’s best for him so he’s always urging him to try a little harder in school and leave his dorm once in a while just to get some fresh air

• Yoosung’s creativity combined with Saeyoung’s resources meant that there was usually a lot of cleaning up to do on both Jumin and V’s ends (sorry guys we all know that Saeyoung automatically reverts in age when around Yoosung)

• Yet when they’re not being silly together Saeyoung is actually extremely protective of Yoosung (and that may stem from what happened with Saeran)

• Whenever there’s a slight hint of hacker activity Yoosung is normally the first person he checks on through his cameras

• And when they went on that mission to mint eye you bet your ass Saeyoung had never felt so shitty in his entire life

• Even now after Yoosung has successfully coped with his eye he still continues to blame himself because “If only I hadn’t of been so careless he would have never gotten hurt”

• Yoosung cares deeply for Saeyoung too; and despite Saeyoung being older Yoosung doesn’t really see him as the big brother type honestly????

• It’s more like an equal in a sense; he knows that Saeyoung surpasses him in almost everything but when it comes down to it the they way they talk to each other when being serious; they hold a lot of respect for one another

     You turned off your phone and rushed down the stairs, quickly unlocking the door. Mingi's soft brown hair covered his eyes in a messy mop; evidence of him jumping out of bed to come see you. He rubbed his hands feverishly up and down his biceps in an attempt to generate warmth.

"Extra ass" you sighed, yanking him by the shoulder into your house. Once he was inside and you'd locked the door again, you turned to him angrily.

"Why are you here? Mingi I told you I’m over him. I’m fine”

"Bold of you to assume I'm here to talk about that jackass" He huffed walking right past you and into the kitchen, fully knowing you'd follow him. You stomped behind him waiting to see what he'd do next.

Mingi ran his hands through his fringe while he opened the fridge, scanning its shelves for something to drink. Although you were a lot less emotional than you were this morning; today had been a lot and you weren't in the mood to speak to anyone, not even your best friend.

"Can you leave? I'll see you at uni tomorrow" you whined as he picked out an apple juice box and pulled the straw from it, totally ignoring you in the process.

"I'm serious, I don't want to see anyone. My parents are out for a while and this is the only time I get alone" The boy shut the fridge door and turned to you, leaning on his forearms against the granite countertop. It was awkward when he looked at you, holding eye contact as he slipped the straw between his lips, staring down at you condescendingly.

His expression was an uncanny blend of amused and standoffish. His brows were perked up and his eyes were blank in a way that seemed to challenge you without saying a word.

Go ahead, get mad. I dare you

And oh boy, did that piss you off.

   "I'm sorry did I say you could come in and open my fridge?" you asked leaving a pause for him to answer while you organized your angry thoughts; you weren't actually that mad about him taking a single juice box, it was more like the straw that broke the camel's back. Mingi simply shook his head, just waiting for you to go off.

"Then can you maybe have a single ounce of respect and ask before you come over for once?! God, guys are all the same you're so- so selfish and rude! I said I wanted to be alone today and you couldn't respect that, you didn't even try to comfort me or talk like a normal person!" Your rant was cut short as loud slurps irritated your thought process. He was stood there crushing the small carton, squeezing every last drop into his mouth before tossing it into the bin to his left.

Your head felt like it would explode into a million little pieces right then and there. His cold nature had you right on the verge of breaking out into tears of fury.

"Are you really that childish? Knock it off right now, Mingi. I've had one of the worst days of my life and I just- I just need to let it pass right now. You're not helping by being such a fu-" your voice was breaking and tears were unknowingly streaming down your cheek, but a sudden action surprised you enough to bring them to a sudden halt.

Mingi hated seeing you so mad but he knew you needed to let it out somewhere, and if he had to be your vessel then so be it; When he saw you start crying though, everything single brain cell in his head thought of how he could fix this. And being the quick - totally irrational - thinker he is, all Mingi could think of was to kissing you.

And kiss you he did.

As soon as he pushed off the counter his hand found the back of your neck like a magnet to metal. His grip was strong enough to show you how desperate he was but gentle enough to show you he meant no harm. His lips connected to yours in the blink of an eye while his other arm found its way around your waist, holding your much smaller frame tightly against his.

His lips moved slowly against your own, the feeling of electricity rushed through your veins as you melted wholly into the kiss, feeling loved and warm for the first time today. His plump lips were colder than yours from being outside and tasted faintly of the drink he'd had moments earlier, as you moved your head to the side the fruity smell engulfed you.

You could definitely get used to this.

With his fingers running a final stroke through your hair, Mingi pulled away gently as if asking for permission to do so. You complied and took a step back breaking away from his warmth as you ached for more. A satisfied smile graced his face, you'd never know how long he'd been waiting to do that.

Your mind was blank and the room was dead silent for far too long as you stood there, trying to process what had happened and trying to calm the furious red shade consuming your cheeks. Mingi broke this silence by laughing after he licked his lips. It started as a light giggle but quickly turned into a painful wheeze.

"W-what?" You asked, quite frankly seeing that smile on his face brought one to your own, his laugh was contagious.

"For a sad girl, you’re still so extra. Are you really wearing cherry flavored lip balm?" He continued to laugh, licking the glossy remnants off of his lips; you could've sworn your heart had stopped.

"’Min, that's gross! You can't do that!"

"But it tastes good" he frowened like a lost puppy, suddenly all was forgiven

"What are you doing to me?" Your head was clouded with far too many emotions to work normally so you thought out loud, hoping he'd have an answer.

"Hopefully cheering you up a little?"

"Song Mingi stop it right now! Can you just not mess with me like this? If you like me you can say so just don't if you...don't" your words wouldn't have made sense to anyone sane, but Mingi wasn't anyone; and he sure as hell wasn't sane. Your mum had always told you that guys only want one thing and it stuck with you, but He wasn't like that; your whole being wanted to believe Mingi wasn't like that.

"I would never hurt you Y/N. I wouldn't kiss you like that if I didn't mean it" He didn't need you to ask what he meant, years of friendship meant he could read your expression like an open book.

"I really really like you Y/N. God it feels good to say that. So I've like, liked you this way since freshman year but you've always treated me like a little brother - even though I'm a billion times taller than you - and I didn't think you'd want to date me anyways" Mingi kept that childish glint in his eyes as his hand rubbed the nape of his neck, waiting with baited breath for you to say anything, anything at all.

"Well you know, you could've said something because I thought you had a thing for Yunho" You snickered walking over to trap him against the countertop, your arms either side of him.

"You- That's kinda fair though. Yunho is a fine piece of ass. But what do you say?"

And just like that the words you never thought you'd hear from your previous best-friend left his lips

heya!! i wanted to request hc’s for RFA with a methyphobic mc? i get rlly nauseous and terribly anxious (shaking, stuttering, sweating, tearing up, etc) when alcohol is around me or mentioned. my mom was a pretty horrible alcoholic, and that’s where it sprouted ^^;; my friends and family all think i’m weird for it, but i experienced a lot of trauma bc of alcohol, so it makes me feel rlly bad when they don’t try to understand. i was hoping for a bit of comfort through this!! thank you so much!!

it comes out when you’re playing LOLOL together with some mutual friends of yours

one of them mentions how they just got back from buying beer from the nearby 7-eleven and how they’re gonna get wasted later that night

you want to say how uncomfortable you are, but out of fear of seeming “uncool” to yoosung’s friends, you stay silent even though you’ve been talkative all night

after around 10 minutes, the friend actually does bust out some of the beers and starts drinking

that’s when you start to really get nervous

as soon as the match is over, you start scrambling for any excuse to log off for the rest of the night

yoosung notices this, and since you two are literally in the same room, he spins in his chair and starts asking you what’s wrong

you remind him that he forgot to leave the match and it’s still going on,

but he doesn’t care about that dumb game right now.

he just wants to know what’s wrong and what he can do to help

after a lot of hugging, you finally tell him about your methyphobia

he’s a little taken aback, as he’s never heard of it.

but when he thinks about how much his friend was mentioning alcohol he gets

really irritated at his “friend”

you have to tell him that his friend didn’t know and that it’s okay but he still insists on telling him how uncomfortable he made you

after a long back and forth, you realize there’s no stopping him

as if he read your mind, he immediately shoots up to his computer and starts typing

then, when he’s taken care of that, he takes your hand and starts reassuring you again

he’ll never let any mention of alcohol touch your ears again, not if he can help it

and he means it.

he’s really glad that you told him so he can try preventing something like this ever happening again

he never, ever wants you to be uncomfortable.

you’re trying to catch up on social media and your favorite TV shows when you hear keys clicking outside the apartment and the door creaking open

as soon as you look over, you see zen stumbling in

from the look on his face and his posture, it’s easy to tell that he’s had a horrible day on set

you try to comfort him and make conversation, but he only mumbles in reply while getting a beer out of the fridge

moments after he pops it open, your palms start getting sweaty and you freeze

you try to tell him that that makes you uncomfortable, but your voice only comes out as murmurs

he has to ask a few questions, such as why this came to be and the like

when you tell him about your mom, he’s disgusted with her

he can’t believe it? how did such a wonderful person come out of such a bad family situation?

you really cannot believe he asked that when he came from a bad family too

after a lot of talking and venting from you, he promptly throws out all his alcohol and promises never to drink any or mention it to you again unless you’re okay with it

if you ever start panicking while eating out he’ll be by your side in a flash, rubbing your back and giving you breathing exercises or whatever you need

he’s 100% supportive of you, and he’ll give up any bad habit he needs to if it helps you at all

it’s a sunday, and a lot of families came to the café after church together

it was packed all day

when you get home, you try to unwind by binging jaehee’s bottomless collection of zen DVDs

she’s a little late, telling you she has to get something from the kitchen really fast and asks you if you want anything

you refuse, you’ve had dinner and you already have water

she understands, and dashes off

after about a minute of you setting up the DVD, she comes back with a cheese plate and a wine glass

as soon as you see the crimson liquid in the glass, your hands start to vibrate and shake furiously

you try to hide it by holding them tightly, but she notices before you tuck them away in your pockets

“is s-something wrong?? did i do something??”

she’s, so worried,

you’re a little hesitant to tell her but you’ve been dating for a few months and you have to tell her eventually, right?

through shaky breaths, you explain your methyphobia and why it came to be,

everything.

she never interrupts you, purely focusing on listening to you until you’re done after about 3 and a half minutes

afterwards, she apologizes for never asking if you’re comfortable with her relying on drinking wine as a stress reliever

she says how she doesn’t blame you in the slightest for not telling her sooner, it’s hard to trust people with such sensitive information and she would have struggled with it too.

you have a really long conversation about your lives and everything you struggle with talking about to others

you both forget all about the DVD

after you tell her that you’re starting to get sleepy, she dumps out the wine, puts the cheese away, and gives you honest to god the tightest hug you’ve ever gotten from someone.

as well as a kiss on the cheek heehee

she gives you a lot more cuddles that night

and when you’re both awake, she delays the shop opening so she can do as much research on methyphobia as a woman could possibly do in one morning

she’s very sensitive about it afterwards, and always makes sure that you don’t get reminded of alcohol (when she can help it)

you’re playing with elizabeth the 3rd and waiting for jumin to come home when you get a call

speak of the devil!!

you pick up almost instantly, asking him how work is going and telling him what elizabeth has been doing all day

he lets out a small .. nose exhale? of a laugh before telling you that he actually called you to inform you of a sudden change of plans for the afternoon/evening

you’re really excited! you’re usually just stuck in the penthouse all day, without anything to do

so any chance to get out is a good thing, especially with jumin

he continues, saying how he has to go to an event for work purposes

it turns out there’s a nearby wine tasting and there’s a lot of potential customers there

as he went, the smile on your face slowly fell until he said the word “wine” and any sign of joy was smacked out of you

your head started spinning, you were spluttering trying to think of an answer

“o-okay, i’ll s-s-see yo-you the-there”

he notices your panicking, but decides not to say anything and save it for later

Hey lovely~ I’m sorry I haven’t been as active recently 💜 I saw that you’ve been feeling a bit demotivated and I just wanted to offer my support!! And also, I just wanted to say as someone who writes for Yoosung, one of the least requested characters on MysMe blogs - I completely understand the struggle of writing when sometimes there is no audience engagement afterwards. It feels really frustrating when you’ve put aside your time to pour your feelings into a request and then not even have it acknowledged by the person who requested it. Writers have it tough! It’s demotivating but I found that when I took a break from requests and started writing scenarios and headcanons that *I* wanted to do, it was easier to try news things and experiment with my writing without the added stress of hoping it was the person who requested it wanted - I began to enjoy myself more. Now I mostly write non-requested scenarios but that hasn’t meant that I’ve gotten no engagement from those posts- readers will enjoy scenarios that they hadn’t even thought of, sometimes more than scenarios they had.

This sounds really lecture-y all of a sudden 😞I hope it didn’t come off that way!! It’s just that your writing is special 💜💜 I’m constantly coming back to the posts that I have requested (and I cry every time 😭) so I hope things get better because I really love this blog, and admire the writer behind it all ^^ 💜💜💜💜

When that is solved, he would go back to MC.

Even though I had my eyes set in Jumin from the beginning, Jaehee was my first route and is impossible to not love her in her journey. (Though I really wish her route didn't end with her backstabbing Jumin, he didn't deserve it)

Tsuna is really annoying at the start, the character development he has is amazing! (He kinda of reminds me of Yoosung now that I think about it)

Can't think in one for Ranma since most of Rumiko Takahashi characters tend to stay the same once they are introduced... Maybe Ukyo or Kasumi?

Hi! Yes, Saeran’s ending was unfinished for reasons that I felt were right. I kinda have been lowkey working on something and I have just been meaning to find the right time to talk about it before I abandoned it (Like i do with a lot of things v.v) Okay so here it goes. 

I have been working on this sorta fanatical idea of this MC Sick AU-verse so there are a few HC’s of before the Rika Saga and a few after the Rika Saga. Namely, because someone sent in an ask that gave me the idea and I just had to go with it (I will give credit to the person once I post it along with a masterpost list someone asked for.) 

About Zen, in the original draft he did get mad and hit V and then Yoosung (because of his denial of Rika’s involvement), but I didn’t go through with it because what stood out most to me was just how defeated Zen felt. Also because it takes him a while to catch onto a reaction and in the scene, it was a quick reaction. Like when he catches on (in the deep story in 707′s path) that 707 and MC are together alone and so I based it off of that (IDK why but it just happened lolol). He does take his anger out in another way. I focused the Rika Saga on mainly 707 and Jumin and the follow-up I want to focus it on Zen, Yoosung, and Jaehee. 

I did not know that about Hangul being the alphabet. I apologize and will fix it! I didnt look too much into it and I felt bad at my error v.v Thanks for pointing it out though! I really appreciate it :3 

While I am still here, lolol forgive me, I received an ask about a masterlist post and I will post it up in a few days (along with the pre- Rika Saga) and it will have a bit of a mixture of things. And that’s where I need help. I have only read a few Mystic Messenger headcanons that I loved before I started mine, and I don’t think that will be enough (because I will want to also look back at the list and read lolol im so sorry)! So I ask that you guys submit some (or anything you guys want to see) so that I can add to the list. In additions to HC’s, I have made playlists for each of the characters based on how I saw them in the Rika Saga so there is also that too that I will add to the masterlist.

but as long as they were happy, well, he was too 

they did grow close, though! the two of them were good friends

zen actually met the person mc was dating 

they seemed nice and seemed to have a connection to mc

but he’d be lying if he said that it didn’t hurt a little

mc’s date mate kissed them in front of zen once and wow did that sting  

but one night, zen heard a knock on his door. and he was so confused because it was past midnight

he opened the door to find mc, crying and with a developing black eye 

automatically brought them inside and had them sit on the couch

“mc! are you alright? no, that was stupid, what happened? who hurt you?” 

they can’t answer through their tears at first so zen kneels in front of them and wipes them gently

“how is this your fault, mc? babe, you did nothing wrong.” “Don’t call me that! Please..don’t” they yelled that first part, which surprised zen 

he was about to ask, but there was a bang on his door 

mc yelped, sitting back on the couch. “they found me…” 

oh now zen is Angry. he opened the door and found mc’s date mate

“I know they’re in there! Give them back to me, right now. I wasn’t done with them.” mc is shaking in the back

zen, however, stood his ground. “how about you fuck off. mc isn’t going anywhere”

they punch zen (!) mc yelled out for him when they saw him stumble back 

zen is quick to recover though and punches them in return, harder. 

he manages to get them out of his house, but goes back to mc with a face worse than theirs

“zen! you shouldn’t have done that, I’m so sorry!” 

“they won’t bother you anymore, mc. you don’t have to apologize.”

“but-” “how about instead of apologizing, you stay with me instead?” “…i’d like that”

yoosung

yoosung was happy just having mc as a friend, at first

but then he developed a crush on them, which would’ve been fine and all, but they were already dating! 

he thought he was cursed for a few hours tbh 

unlike zen, yoosung never met mc’s date mate, but he’s heard stories 

mc smiles every time they tell those stories, so he tries to smile along with them, but it’s hard

and it was getting harder, but today was the day yoosung was supposed to meet mc’s date mate. he was going to go over to mc’s so they could all have lunch

when he got there, however, they were arguing.

“why do we have to have his kid over? I’m sure he just wants to get in your pants. And you’re gonna let him, aren’t you?” an unfamiliar voice. “of course not! yoosung is my friend..” mc’s voice 

“you don’t need friends! you’re dating me. I’m all you need, you whore” 

ok yoosung hates language like that, so he knocks on the door

mc’s date mate spoke again. “fuck off! you can’t have them, they’re mine.” “i’m sorry yoosung, maybe we can reschedule?” “reschedule my ass”..yoosung kind of lost his patience

he takes off his hair clip and picks the lock wow someone’s a badass

the door slams open and he can see mc flinch, but their date mate stands up

“mc is coming with me” and mc tries to go over to yoosung, but their date mate pulls them back over “take them from me, if you can” they smirk

yoosung knows that he probably can’t fight the person, but there’s something else he can do

no one is exactly sure how this happened, but now mc’s date mate is laid on the table, with yoosung holding them there 

“let me say this again. mc is coming with me.” “yeah, ok, sure dude.” 

yoosung lets them up and goes to take mc’s hand, but then the other person tackles yoosung instead

“yoosung!” mc yells out, running after the two of them, trying to get yoosung free

they eventually do get him off and mc slaps their date mate(ex date mate now) 

they run out and when they’re far enough, mc tells him that stuff like this has happened a lot..

yoosung hugged mc and kissed their forehead, “it’s over now, ill protect you”

jaehee

jaehee knew that mc was dating someone else, but that was fine, jaehee just wanted mc to be her friend, anyways. r u sure jaehee?

things were just fine! they all got along, everything was fine

until, out of nowhere, mc started hanging out with jaehee less

by now, they haven’t hung out with her in going on 2 weeks

jaehee gets a little worried, so she calls mc

and they pick up! but she can hear…sniffling?

“hey jaehee, sorry I haven’t been over lately” “I’m more worried about you, mc….is everything alright?” “oh, yeah! everything is ok, just..i don’t think i can hang out with you anymore, im so sorry-” 

and then mc hung up. well….that was weird

jaehee had a feeling there was probably more to this than mc let on

so she decided to head over to their place to check on them

but they weren’t there. their date mate’s house, then.

jaehee knocked on the door, mc’s date mate opened it and crossed their arms. 

“what do you want?” “is mc here?” “that’s none of your business” jaehee raised an eyebrow. “as their friend, it is a bit of my business…so they are here” “even if they were, you can’t see them.” 

jaehee takes a step forward, mc’s date mate doesn’t move. “mc?” she hears a little noise from inside. oh, they’re in there.

“you can’t keep them in here.” she says. “watch me.” they answer

“I won’t let you.” jaehee says, “i’d like to see you try.” they say in response

and then they spit on jaehee’s face

she wastes no time at all and literally flips them out on the ground outside. jaehee walks inside and picks up mc, leaving

they go back to jaehee’s apartment and she wraps mc in a blanket with hot chocolate 

“mc, love that person did not deserve you. and no one can keep you from doing whatever you like, okay? i’ll make sure of that now”

jumin

mc’s date mate showed up to the party

mc was talking to jumin while they walked up and pulled mc’s face over to kiss them

jumin found that both odd and unneeded, but he didn’t understand couples

he also found himself a bit…jealous? except he wouldn’t kiss mc that roughly in public..

so it was already off to a bad start 

things got really bad, however, when mc’s date mate decided to interrupt an rfa meeting at jumin’s penthouse

they made a ruckus. the guards were having trouble because it seemed like they were throwing a temper tantrum

mc stayed quiet when the others asked if they wanted their date mate to come in, so jumin decided to check it out

when he found mc’s date mate with his guards, they were drunk. it wasn’t even one in the afternoon. 

“you fuckers give mc back to me right now.” they said. “do you need them for something important?” he asked. “yeah, I need some sugar. now.” 

jumin han is…disgusted. and could only imagine how mc felt. 

“we’re in the middle of an important meeting. if you could wait for-” they cut him off. “i don’t wait! i’ll have mc whenever I damn well want mc.” 

and now, jumin han has a little brain click and he is angry

“hm. well, you can’t have mc at all anymore.” he tells the guards to take them outside, as well as one or two other things

but, of course, this drunk asshole decides to punch jumin first 

oh, now it’s only fair. jumin punches them back, and they are out. thanks alcohol

the guards are surprised, but he tells them he’s fine and to do what they’re told

he comes back into the meeting room, everyone but mc really surprised

*clears throat* “i’m afraid i ran into mc’s ex..but they’re taken care of”

turns out, he didn’t need to. 

he got a call from mc, which he answered right away 

“seven? can you give me a ride?…and stay on the phone with me?” “of course”

he put it on speaker, hopped into one of his babe cars, and started driving over to mc 

he heard their argument over the phone

“you’re not leaving, mc.” “yes I am! I’m done with you cheating on me! i’m done with you acting like you’re sorry about it and then doing it again!” 

saeyoung was proud of them for that

“but, babe…you know i love you, i couldn’t live without you. i’m nothing without you.”  mc made a sound, one that sounded like they were believing that

“that’s bullshit, mc. and you know that. i’m almost there.” he said 

“don’t listen to that stupid redhead, mc. i’m in love with you…you’ve helped me with so much..i’m getting better, love”

saeyoung was two minutes away. “i…seven, hurry” 

he pushed the gas harder. “be walking outside.” 

he could tell mc was doing what he said, they were moving. “let go of me!” they yelled, presumably because that ass was holding them back.

seven pulled up, got out of the car, and took mc’s bag, using it to hit their arm off of mc. “watch your back, okay?” was all he said before taking mc with him

when they drove off, saeyoung took mc’s hand again. “thank you for calling me..” they sighed, wiping a tear away. “i knew you could take care of me..”

they were really uncomfortable at first, especially with zen

it wasn’t entirely his fault since they never met before and seven introduced mc by what was on their records

so, yeah. the rfa had been misgendering them for a week now

thing is, mc never told them they were nonbinary

they knew it wouldn’t be a problem - they all knew seven was genderfluid and all of them were totally accepting 

but they didn’t yet

and now they were on their way to zen’s house 

they were glad for the chance to see him and cheer him up, but they weren’t prepared for the misgendering that was bound to happen

the worst part is that they were already feeling super dysphoric

maybe they’d tell him tonight….or maybe not

too late to think more about it, they pulled up to the house 

zen opened the door, automatically smiling, “mc!” 

maybe they wouldn’t 

but then zen started calling them “princess” which was a really cute nickname, but it did not ease their dysphoria at all

it was on the roof that they broke

zen told them his life story, about how he felt about their connection

and about how “men are wolves, including me, and that he didn’t want to ruin a cute girl”

“alright, just making sure, love” immediately switches nicknames what a catch 

he refers to them by their proper pronouns for the rest of the night, doesn’t use princess as a nickname anymore, and when he does mess up, he feels so bad and apologizes 10 times minimum

so all this misgendering mc was really starting to get to them

they’ve thought of telling the rfa, but things have gotten so weird with zen breaking his ankle, to the stalker, plus the hacker

mc thought it wasn’t the right time

but one day, they couldn’t take it anymore

it was the day yoosung asked them to be his ‘pre-girlfriend’

they called him right after that

“oh, mc! i was just thinking about you..” he said, making mc smile

“hey, yoosung. i was thinking about you too. and i, uh, i have to tell you something”

“anything, mc.” “can you please not call me your girlfriend?”

oh wait. there might have been some misunderstanding there…

“oh…o-of course. i mean, now i’m kind of glad i asked in a ‘pre’ way..”

there’s silence for a bit before yoosung speaks again

“you scared me! I thought I made the biggest mistake of my life!”

today was not the day for this

the cafe was loaded today, it was one of their biggest days of the month!

but all these new customers meant all these people saying “thank you ma’am” and “hello miss!” to mc

which didn’t really get to them on a normal day, but they were already feeling the dysphoria since this morning 

and it was really slowing their progress

which is how jaehee noticed something was wrong with them

she was walking over to ask mc about it when she heard the person they were serving speak, “have a nice day, ma’am!”

ah, that’s it. 

during their break, jaehee pulls mc to the side and smiles. “let’s go outside, hun.” 

mc nods and they go outside first 

jaehee meets them with a pastry to share and two water bottles

“it’s busy today..” mc says, taking the water bottle from her

mc looks up at jaehee, who sits beside them

“i know you, sweetheart. do you want to take the rest of the day off?”

“jaehee, i can’t do that. and i can’t leave you, either.” “mc, we own the cafe. it’s alright. the others can handle the work.. you’ve trained them well”

mc smiles and the two go back inside, jaehee telling the staff they were going home. mc wasn’t feeling well. and they understand

as they walk out, one of the employees calls out to them, “feel better, mc! you amazing person!”

mc was terrified of telling jumin

he was so exposed to the press and they weren’t ready for the questions that were bound to come 

but all of jumin’s staff - and jumin - kept calling them ‘she’ and ‘her’ 

and all of this misgendering was driving mc crazy

at this point, they wanted to yell at the staff members. but they didn’t deserve that

so they went to Elizabeth

“Elizabeth, do you think it’ll be such a big deal? will the press start more rumors? will jumin…i don’t know, change his mind about me?” they asked, petting Elizabeth

they got a ‘meow’ in return

“he would, wouldn’t he?” they sigh

“why would i change my mind about you?” jumin says and mc turns around

“honey-” “what’s wrong, mc?” 

well now they have to spill. jumin won’t let this go

“….can i get a glass of wine first?”

jumin is actually more curious than anything

he asks a bunch of questions. about pronouns, if they’re really comfortable with all the dresses he bought them. what really makes them feel dysphoric, everything.

it ends well, but there’s still the press to worry about. though jumin says that’ll be a process. as for the staff, mc says they’re willing to come out to them

the next day, mc goes to the office with jumin. and they’re a reasonable distance away from jumin so he asks one of the workers

“can you call my spouse over here?” the worker is like, “…your wife, mr. Han?” “no, my spouse.”

mc hears him and smiles

the door closed with a slam, followed by a loud groan from mc

saeyoung spun his chair around. “bad day, 606?” 

they walk over to him and he stands up to be engulfed in their hug

“i’m tired of people calling me a girl.” they mumble into his shoulder

he smiles sadly and strokes their hair

“ah, one of those days.” he says

“yeah..I feel like just running and screaming it out, you know?”

“we could do that, you know.” 

mc looks at him confused, but he’s dead serious

so they get in one of his cars and saeyoung drives them to a secluded place

they both get out of the car and saeyoung gestures to the empty field

“run and scream to your heart’s content, hun~”

so…mc does. 

they run to the middle of the field and just yell it out

“i wish people would stop misgendering me! i’m nonbinary, for christ’s sake!”

and they fall to sit on the ground

saeyoung walks over to them, clapping. he sits beside them

“you feel a little bit better?” they nod and move to put their head on his shoulder

“it sucks sometimes.” “you don’t need to be out now..you can be out whenever you’re ready. and we can start small.”

they were out on a date, just walking around and stopping by whatever place caught their attention

and all kinds of people were misgendering mc. 

they did when they bought something, were welcomed into the store, leaving the store.

and mc was trying to have fun with jihyun, but all this was getting to them

they kept moving closer to jihyun, their dysphoria growing

he noticed pretty quickly and pulled them to whisper in their ear

“let’s go home, angel.” 

when they get home, mc sighs. “i’m sorry, jihyun”

“there’s nothing to apologize for, i want to make sure you’re comfortable.”

“but you can’t go up to everyone who talks to me, love”

“i can if i try hard enough.”

“ah, there she is. rfa’s princess.” he says, after breaking through the window

“don’t worry. i won’t hurt you..for now. i’m here to take you to paradise.”

“no, that’s not it at all, look-”

lmao mc isn’t even scared

“what?-” saeran starts to ask

“can you maybe not��refer to me as a princess? and not use ‘she’ pronouns?”

saeran blinks. “what?”

“i’m nonbinary.” “….can you explain that?”

they end up having a talk in the apartment instead of saeran taking them anywhere

and saeran learned a lot. he understands, asks questions, and makes sure he’s getting their pronouns right

“…have you told the rfa?” “….no”

“i’m sure they’ll listen.” “weren’t you supposed to take me somewhere?”

he stands up and shrugs. “I can come back. give you time to think about if you want to tell them first.” 

mc decides to test him a bit. “come back for rfa’s ‘princess’?”

saeran smiles and shakes his head. “no…I’ll come back for rfa’s savior”

and then he leaves
