i might be having a "guy whos only seen the boss baby" moment rn but like ive read worm and im currently reading the Locked Tomb series and my brain is making Connections between the characters in them.

but like theres something kind of similar between my 2 favoritest girlfailures Harrowhark Nonagesimus and Taylor Parahumans. Like theyre both fucked up creatures, theyre both so deeply intense about literally everything, theyre SOPPING wet beasts,,,,,

also they both have some kind of sapphic situationship bs going on that i can appreciate.

they both exist in a very particular part of my brain that makes me VERY normal about them, i think they should meet. they would fucking hate each other but it would be v interesting imo. i want to put them in a get along shirt

also unrelated but gideon and brian should hang out. I think that would be good for both of them

unpopular opinion: i think gideon could beat her in a fight but not because she's more skilled than cam but because gideon's more likely to do something fucking stupid that actually works

My research!! I went through the fucking trenches for it but i recently was able to present a project at a major conference and it was a really magical moment

This might sound weird but my athletic ability. I'm disabled w chronic pain but I've put so much time and effort into being able to still play rugby/lift weights and im very proud of myself for figuring out how to do that :-)

My cooking! I can cook most anything if given a recipe for it and i love cooking for other ppl

My dedication. Mama didn't raise a quitter. I try really really hard to not give up on things I care about, even when it gets rough, especially when I'm supporting other people

My introspection. I've been a person I didn't love for a lot of my life but I have worked really really hard to take a look at myself and improve my ability to be there for myself (and others) and forge a more positive future for myself :'-)

ok but the entire prologue of Harrow the Ninth and throughout the book, Ianthe telling Harrow that she'll help "if only you'd ask" and of course Harrow doesn't ask for help because that's not what she does. And the prologue fits into the rest of the chapters right before Gideon wakes up in Harrow's body (possibly the break in the prologue before "Hell spat you back out" fits in just as she's seizing on the bed in the river bubble, about to remember Gideon? something like that). And that prologue ends with Harrow saying "three syllables she did not even understand" which, obviously in my opinion, is Gideon's name.

Gideon comes because she asks! She comes because she asks her to! The whole time, everyone is all "I'll help you if you ask for help" and the only person she ever asks for help, through the fucking murk of her own slipshod lobotomy, is Gideon. And when she does, of course Gideon answers
