This could've been SO MANY different Mountain Goats lines: at first I thought "I will be made a new creature one bright day", "Well, you looked me in the eye, ready to die/We were becoming what we are Collapsing stars". "See that young man who dwells inside his body like an uninvited guest" is possibly too on the nose. But this one, from Heretic Pride, caught my heart because of the sense of triumph in death. Soooooo... I read semi-charmed kinda life again... in the span of like four days. Absolutely recommend this fic to everyone, it is so gorgeous and well written and it is such a pleasure to read, absolute props to @griddlebait for understanding griddlehark so well and writing them so wonderfully. (also I love nona so so so much in the fic please know that) (and pyrrha!! and pal in his shawl!! i love these girls!!)

Is my attempt at a comic kinda jank? Yeah. Do I adore this scene and did I spend 12 hours on trying to draw it? Yeah. So BE NICE I WILL CRY.

saw a post saying that they didnt believe palamades was ugly due to the series being narrated by lesbians. i disagree. a somewhat offputting man with odd mismatched features and pretty eyes can be the most beautiful creature on this earth and that description does not need to change for that to be true
