Hello all!

We're… we don't really have a system name! But for now we're going with the Glimmerfamily, just as a working title. We're a small system of mixed origin. We don't really have a collective name, but we'll all answer to Snail and we're fine with the collective pronouns they/them. The body is pushing 30 and we're autistic.

We're endo-supportive; possibly endogenic ourselves, or at least, we don't meet the critera for a DID or OSDD-1 diagnosis. We've tried to block mostly everyone posting in endo-negative tags, if we missed you just block us right back. No hard feelings.

“hey, i’m looking for the latest model. could you please show me where they are?�� a man asked. you were still working this same old job. but vox being there was a good bonus.

“yes, right this way.” you made your way to a corner and lifted the box.

“woah there.” the man steadied you with his arms on your shoulder. “must be pretty heavy. here, let me help you lift it up.” he grabbed the corner on the other side of the box and helped you carry it. you both set it down.

“how much will that be?” he grabs his wallet from his back pocket.

“that’s…” you tilted the box to see the price tag. “that will be… 2000 dollars. if your still up for it.”

“yes, yes, of course.” he hands you a stack of money, and you shuffle it, counting the amount. exactly 2000.

“thank you, sir. have a nice day.”

“oh and by the way—my name is jack. and who may you be?”

“oh, im Y/N. i’m just a normal employee here.”

“beautiful name for such a beautiful lady.” he kissed your knuckles and picked up the box with ease. “have a nice day, amorcita.”

you stood there, a little surprised he called you ‘sweetheart’ in spanish.

you wiped off your hand, and watched as the store quickly got busy. most of your other co workers were helping customers. right now, you were on break. you decided to take a walk in the park.

you sat on an empty bench, and picked a flower from the ground. it was a beautiful pink colour, and it matched your uniform. you sniffed it and put it in your hair. you heard sobbing, you turned your head and saw someone sitting on a different bench. you got up to talk to him. his pink and white striped shirt would go well with the flower… you thought.

“u-uh hey. i noticed you were feeling down so…”

you watched as a tear fell down. it stayed on his freckles. he wiped a tear with his arm and looked at you. “so what? no matter what you say, i’ll never be okay.”

“i just wanted to give you this.” you pulled the flower from your hair and handed it to him. “i thought it would go good with your outfit.”

he held it and studied it before putting it in his white, short hair. “thanks, toots, but i told you…” he said in a much softer tone. “nothing could cheer me up right now. not even drugs or alcohol.”

you sat down next to him. “maybe not… but maybe you could tell me what’s bothering you? sometimes it helps when you talk to someone. it may not help but… maybe it’s worth a try?”

he wiped another tear. “maybe.” he sighed. he crossed his legs and flicked a piece of dirt off his tall heels.

“so… would you like to tell me why your down right now?”

he nodded. “just… just my boss, Valentino.” he cracked his fingers, which were in long, pink gloves.

you remembered at the wedding when Velvette said something about a Valentino, who worked at a porn studio.

you nodded.

“I…I work in a porn studio, and tonight he had me workin overtime, gettin fucked by all these punks and the same shit as always… i just wish i��� could be free.” his pupils dilated, thinking about his job.

“you…you can’t quit?”

“nah. i’m under contract. lets just say i’m his little play toy and moneymaker right now, and in the afterlife.”

“don’t be, baby. it’s my stupid mind for thinking Val would actually love me…so i signed my life away.”

you could tell he didn’t mean ‘baby’ in a romantic way. that made you a little more comfortable around him.

“i’m Y/N.” you held out your hand to shake his hand. he gave you a cute side smile and shook your hand.

“Anthony. but… don’t call me that… my new name, under contract, is Angel Dust.”

“but what do you want to be called?”

he looked up at you, a little surprised you actually cared about what he wants. he gave you the same cute smile. “Anthony is fine…but make sure my boss isn’t around…”

“got it.” you smiled and checked your watch. “oh shit… i was on break, and now i’m a little late.” you stood up, and walked towards VoxTek.

“wait, toots!” you heard him shout. he got up and ran after you.

“yeah?”

“do you have a telephone number?”

you nod, and you gave him the number. he wrote it down on a notepad.

“how do i know it’s you calling?”

“my telephone is glitched, so it just plays this random song.”

“alright. call me later tonight!” you waved and ran back inside.

you took a deep breath. still as busy as always. people trying to get an interview out of vox, the same commercial always playing on a TV. something that says, “Trust us!”

Vox was obviously super busy at the moment, so you couldn’t exactly go see him. you still had customers to help. you were helping customers pick out the perfect TV in their price range.

you didn’t know why Vox decided to make and sell TV’s and make technology more advanced.

you watched as the evening rush finally ended. but your thoughts still lingered on Anthony.

is he going to be okay?

“ahh, darling! i haven’t seen you in a while!” he picked you up and spinned you around.

“well, i’ve been seeing someone-“ he grabbed your neck and pinned you to the counter.

“don’t you fucking dare see anyone else but me. you’re mine, only i can love you like i do.”

you gasped for air, but he tightened the grip.

“say it. say you’re mine. say you’re mine forever.”

“i-im y-yours…” you trembled in fear. he chuckled lowly and bit your neck. he broke the skin, and you screamed a little bit. he licked the blood off.

“LET HER GO!” you heard a familiar voice shout.

his hands left your neck and you fell to the floor. he turned his head quickly.

“d-dont choke her like that…” you saw Anthony take a deep breath and try to be brave for you as Vox got closer.

“and is it really your place to tell me what i can and can’t do to my fiancé?”

“y-your engaged?” Vox nodded.

“Vox, please! he was only trying to make sure i’m safe.”

“you’re always safe with me, my dear.” his tone got harsher with each word. “is this the person you’ve been seeing? because i’ll kill him.”

“Vox! No! don’t you dare kill him. he’s a friend i met on my break!”

“why didn’t you tell me that’s what you meant?” he chuckled. “Vox. CEO of VoxTek.”

Anthony narrowed his eyes, stepping away from him and closer to you. he set his hand on your shoulder, and whispered so only you two could hear.

“listen…Val treats me like that too, so don’t you see where I’m coming from? i know we just met but… i care about friends.”

“thank you, anthony, really. but this is my fiancé, and i know him good. i don’t think he would do that on purpose. and who is this Val anyway? do i have to teach him a lesson?”

“no… i would be punished for it anyway.” he looked at the clock. he tightened the strings of his robe before rushing towards the exit. “sorry toots, i’m running a little bit late.” he rushed out.

you tried to run after him, but Vox held you back. “baby, i’m sorry…”

“let me go!” you screamed.

“babe, just hear me out. i’m very sorry, and you know i would never hurt you on purpose. you can go now, i just wanted you to know that.”

you gave him a quick peck on his lips before chasing after Anthony. you saw him run into a building with a bunch of neon lights.

“don’t EVER.” You saw a man slap Anthony across his face. “be late again!”

“y-yes Valentino.” he hung his head.

“you’re fucking lucky you make me money.” he pushed him and sat in a directors chair. “Action!”

Anthony took a deep breath as four big actors made their way to his bed on the set.

“oh no! robbers! what should i do! perhaps they… want a piece of this?” he untied the strings of his robe and let it fall.

“damn right! we needed a piece of the Angel Dust, so spread those legs, you slut.” one of them said.

he grinned and spread them. his face was shocked when he saw you standing there.

“Y/N?” he called out.

“uhh… my name is robert.” he pointed his finger up, confused.

“nobody gives a shit who you are.” he pushes him off, and tied his robe back on. “Y/N, what are you doing here? if Val sees us, we’re both dead!”

“i’m here to get you out!” you grab his arm and try to sneakily pull him away.

“toots, im under contract-“

“Angel, baby, who’s this? whos this little friend you brought with you?”

Valentino walked over to you, with a big red coat on hanging from his shoulders. it was very modern, which meant he was all about fashion.

“ooh, a woman.” he licked your cheek. “do you need a job?”

“uhh…” you stood there awkwardly. “no i… i already have one.” you nervously laughed.

“she’s just here to say hello. she’s leaving, right now.” you could hear he needed you to leave.

“no, we want to welcome our guest. welcome to my humble sex dungeon!” he took off his hat and tossed it to the side. a giant feather fell off from the hat. “you can see Angel after he’s done working.” he said in a harsh tone.

he stylishly walked back to the chair. “anddd… action!”

“oh my! a couple of big strong daddies are here!” he took off his robe. “maybe they want this?” he spread his legs.

“ohhh yeah baby~” he grinned as they entered his ass. you couldn’t watch. two of them had their dicks in his ass, and one was forcing his dick down his throat. the other was just masturbating, waiting for his turn. it disgusted you, even though Anthony loved sex.

that wasn’t the bad part, it was how Valentino treats Anthony.

“how long does this…go on for?” you asked Valentino.

“mmm, around…two hours. why do you wanna make me money and join in?”

you chuckled nervously. “nah, im good.”

you sat on a chair by Valentino, thinking about Vox again.

“whatcha think about, pretty lady?” he noticed you staring off into space, and he grinned mischievously.

“oh um…my fiancé. Vox.”

“THE Vox Borle? The CEO of VoxTek?” you nodded. “mm, tell him i said hi.” he gave you the same grin, and you stared at his sharp teeth.

after two hours of being traumatized, Anthony’s work was done.

you were laughing with Anthony, about to leave when Valentino called out.

“Angel, you better fucking be back by curfew!”

“Y-yes val…”

you walked out, and you closed the big door behind you.

“curfew? when do you have to be back?”

“four A.M. most days though. umm… are you up for ice cream?”

“i’m always up for ice cream!” you walked to the little ice cream shop, still laughing and joking, just having fun.

“what can i get you guys.” the worker asked, with a stoic expression.

“i’ll have…a vanilla.” Anthony licks his ice cream, and you order a strawberry ice cream. you paid and you walked out.

you sat on a bench, licking your strawberry ice cream.

“today…today was fun with you. thanks, Y/N.”

“your welcome, Anthony. and it was pretty cool to hang out with you too.”

you sat there for a few hours, until Anthony pulled something out of his pocket. he pulled out two bottles of liquor.

“where did you get these?” you unscrewed the top of yours.

“stole ‘em. it was in the shop.”

you couldn’t judge him since you murdered someone before.

“cheers to… living another day?”

“cheers.” you clinked the glass bottles and drank.

you both were pretty tipsy by now.

“i fucking hate Valentino. i cant believe he treats you like that.”

“i do too.” you both stared at the ground.

“what time is it?” he asked, finally breaking the silence.

“i think its around two.”

“oh, okay. i mean, i’d hate to abandon you here, but i have a busy day tomorrow, and i need sleep.”

“no, i understand. i’m getting tired too. thank you, anthony. it really was a pleasure meeting you again. oh, and make sure to call me soon.”

he gave you a thumbs up and made his way back to the studio.

you walked back to your shared home and unlocked the door.

you were pretty drunk now. you walked back to your room and collapsed on the bed. it woke Vox up, and he stared at you with sleepy eyes.

“baby, what are you doing here so late…?” you interrupted his sentence by passionately kissing him. he held the back of your head.

you laid your head on his chest.

“so… this Anthony.”

“he’s a really good friend. and, i’m pretty sure he’s gay, so don’t worry about us.” you had no idea if he was gay, but he was getting fucked by four guys.

“sleep well, my dear.” Vox said before you drifted off.

GET TO KNOW THE WRITER - VAL EDITION !

what  made  you  pick  up  the  current  muse(s)  you  have?   i  first  played  ffxv  back  in  the  fall  of  2017  and  fell  head  over  heels  in  love  with  the  game.  to  this  day  i  don’t  think  there’s  ever  been  a  cast  of  characters  that’s  had  such  a  lasting  impact  on�� me  as  the  boys  have,  and  at  this  point  ever  will.  i  actually  first  started  off  writing  prompto,  sometime  in  early  2018  and  shortly  thereafter  kind  of  fizzled  out  of  that  because  i  was  new  and  super  shy  and  didn’t  really  know  anyone  in  the  community.  i  was  around  18/19  then  and  actually  took  a  break  from  tumblr  for  a  little  while,  but  always  kept  in  touch  with  the  xv  community  on  twitter/instagram  so  the  love  i  had  never  went  away.  fast  forward  to  2020  and  after  replaying  the  game  i  decided  to  pick  up  noctis  who  at  that  point  had  been  my  end  all  comfort  character  for  a  few  years.  he very quickly became my little pincushion and then unintentionally a processing tool i used to process a lot of issues in my own life. i notice  a  lot  of  nuance  in  my  old  notes  and  ramblings  that  100%  reflect  my  struggles  at that  time and its like huh! wow! didnt know it did that. regardless, noctis is the muse i hold most dearly to my heart and someone i will love for the rest of my life. < he 3

is  there  anything  you  don’t  like  to  write?  ive  seen  it  all  brother.  i  can  be  convinced  with  one  skimmed  over  ao3  tag  and  then  some.  regardless,  i  don’t  have  any  hard  no’s  that  aren’t  the  incredibly  obvious,  and  i  think  rp  is  a  great  way  to  develop  and  analyze  your  likes  and  dislikes  in  a  safe  environment.  it’s  okay  to  be  into  something  in  one  thread  and  then  change  your  mind  later,  that’s  something  i  had  to  learn  the  long  way  but  i'm  better  off  for  it!

is  there  anything  you  really  enjoy  writing?  i  really  love  angst.  not  sure  what  happened  developmentally  to  get  here  but  we’re  here.  i  think  that  shows  a  lot  in  my  preferred  range  of  media  i  write  in  (or  just  consume  casually,)  there’s  just  a  certain….  je  ne  sai  quoi  🤌  in  writing  your  character  going  through  the  absolute  extremes  of  the  human  experience.  besides  that,  i  really  go  crazy  with  character  analysis/general  meta.  i  love  to  deep  dive  into  mundane  (or  otherwise)  aspects  of  a  character  and  build  up  traits  to  fully  flesh  out  a  muse. 

do  you  write  in  silence  or  do  you  play  music?  i  need  complete  silence  or  i  will  literally  never  finish  a  sentence.  i  am  way  too  scatterbrained  to  focus  on  two  things  at  once  and  need  to  lock  the  fuck  in  when  i’m  writing  a  reply. 

do  you  plan  your  replies  or  wing  them?  who  do  i  look  like  shakespeare.  i’ve  never  planned  out  a  thing  in  my  life  im  consistently  operating  strictly  off  vibes. 

do  you  enjoy  shipping?  im  a  dirty  little  shipping  whore. shipping is god's gift to the planet what else would i do if not daydream about my two little guys passionately kissing in a field of wheat.

I feel like I should make an intro post so here goes..

Hello! My name is Vrisk but I go by many many different names; Lovi, Jojo, Val, Kieran, so just pick and choose!

Im 18 years old, an artist, a writer, and a very novice musician. I plan to go to college for Psychology so catch me being ur therapist in about 4-6 years haha

Im in many different fandoms and my fixations change rapidly! They mostly switch between Demon Slayer, Pokemon, Hetalia, and Enstars, with the occasional odd thing like Gakuen Handsome, Nyan Neko Sugar Girls, and Hatoful Boyfriend. I’m also super into reading classical literature now, and I am in the process of reading some highly acclaimed gothic literary books :)

This should’ve been said earlier, but I use He/She prns! I don’t care at what rate you use them but I do prefer She/her more despite it being second.

Im not necessarily new to tumblr, I just don’t have any tags that I keep count of since that’s hard to do and I don’t really feel like looking back at old blog posts I’ve made, haha

i shouldve let go from chip months ago, but here we are!!

ive been going through my old posts and found some art i reblogged from my friend - the spoon time diary post!! i saw how crazy i was going in the tags (because OH MY GOD ONE OF MY FUCKIGN BIGGEST INSPIRATIONS MENTIONED ME IN THE TAGS!!!* /POS) and it made me really happy seeing old me that happy.... but at the same time kinda sad, for many reasons. seeing how innocent and happier i was than i am now, seeing me and the others pre-modern-chip-fandom.... yknow. my chip special interest isnt as strong as it was back then now (which was bound to happen even before the modern fandom came along), and recently ive been craving those times back so i could stim to vosim art and songs that had vosim singing in it all over again.

um. what i typed down during my stim moments was nothing compared to how i was behind that computer screen. for example, when i saw that vosim and dee gijinka post and the vosim gijinka post back in march + april of last year, i literally couldnt look at it w/o feeling nervous + excited (/pos!!!). and like i said, the time i saw that spoon time diary post back in january of last year too. i was there running around the room, flapping my hands like mad to calm myself down, making my happy noises with tons and tons of animation ideas all coming to me in a nanosecond. the hansel cover. i stimmed so hard that day that i ended up with a nasty headache afterwards!!!! and it was all worth it!!! >:] does anyone else have this thing where they cant look at their hyperfix/special interest without getting nervous or excited?? its weird how that happens!!!

recently ive been trying to get back into drawing my vosim gijinka (ive been mostly drawing lil guy). im animating him actually!! and the others.... may 27th is coming and thats the day i consider it to be vosim's bday (its also his chipanniversary - the day he was released lol)

Pam saved me from a bad relationship so ill always love her. Im basically Pam irl but classier and not as physically tough (also shes literally fucked everything and everyone on the show minus ray, not for not trying, so shes cooler than me). She says the most inappropriate things (as above) but she tells it like it is

Jane (from Daria)

Jane was so cool. Jane is more who i am as an adult vs as a teen, as a teen i was all sourpuss daria wishing i was quinn. She has some of the best lines in the show, she always rebelled against authority, and was just a bamf. I love her

Lisa Simpson (the Simpsons)

Cant tell im an animation geek? While simpson finally lost me in s33 but Lisa raised me. Im not sure i could ever meet Yeardley Smith, id prbly snot cry

Ed (OFMD)

I love him. Hes a damaged hottie whos a murder and a softie (much like Guillermo). I cried when he was in the blanket for. Taika seems to be immensely annoying as a person rn (blackfish wife and not apologizing for terf ass shit from 2013-14) but ill always love his acting in this. Thanks Kayvan for teaching me to separate the character from the actor

Miss Fisher (Miss Fisher)

I dunno why i took so damn long to watch this show given i love feminists, 1920s, and sassiness. She is the og bamf. And id kill for any part of her wardrobe

Val (Uncle)

Val is so awesome (nvm gorgeous con o neill with his titties out owning a male strip club and being a good dad). Val isnt a main character and you can tell by the end they were figuring reasons to keep him (Val identifies as male) around. His relationship with Andy is really great too. Starts out pure hatred, for bothering his daughter (Andy’s ex). Ends with them being good buds

Laszlo Cravensworth (WWDITS)

Much like ofmd this list could be pure wwdits if not per fandom. Im going with Laszlo. Id fuck him today. Id also fuck matt berry today good god that man is sexy af. Believe it or not pre wwdits i hadnt really heard of him (i hate it and im american so most of it passed me by). Hes a good dad, unlike nandor he found a way to grow even if small. Hes a loving husband, and beyond that he doesnt give a fuck about anyone. Just fucking and sucking, loving his wife and his son

Franklin Sherman (The Critic) (shame on tumblr having no gif)

Franklin is what u get when u mash Frank Reynolds with Pam Poovey. The Critic was a brief but shining star and its Simpsons crossover gave us some great lines. Franklin was rich as piss, former govenor of new york, and completely well despite being a weirdo (theyd tell ppl he had a stroke to explain his personality like nandor). I love Franklin

Peter (The Great)

I call The Great straight Ofmd. Same loose history as ofmd about Catherine the Great. Irl she killed Peter. In the show she imprisons him. He starts as an enemy and does shit as dumb as Nandor (kills her lover cuz she actually loved him despite peter fucking everything). BUT then he takes a Laszlo turn: hes deeply excited to be a dad and is actually a good dad to the point other rich ppl are like ew wtf? Hes also extremely wtf?

Roger Smith (American Dad)

Wonder why Guillermo doesnt bother me? Been watching this dude since 2005. Hes an alien the smiths take in while playing every gender and sexuality he can think of (to the point the world falls apart without him unless the illuminati have killed him). Hes also a serial killer, commits many acts of violence, says he hates sex back home on his planet cuz its ‘all consensual.’ Hes also fucked and been many celebrities real and imagined

One friend would include you. I actually spent a week with you and had a lot of fun. The trip to the zoo and playing video games together were my faves. We go to each other Animal Crossing islands too and I love seeing the improvements on yours.

@theamazingchickenman - I visited him twice and he is always fun to hang out with. I had a blast at the arcade with him and my sister, dinner at the rainforest cafe, and the aquarium. We also went to a zoo and witnessed the porb (puffin orb). I always have fun when I see CM-mun! He’s a wonderful friend.

@the-expatriate - I known the Mun as far back as my FF7 rp days. I love seeing updates about her and her cat. My hope os one day, we will meet.

@quantumseraph-blog - It’s been a very long time since I heard from them. But I miss them a lot. We met a few years ago, even went through a haunted house together. I still think about them and that adventure. I hope they are doing well.

@pinklocksoflove - We often talk on Discord. I would love to talk more but things have been a bit hectic on my end. However, I appreciate the pictures of their muses and cats that they send. I think Karine is adorable too.

@sunflower-dancing - We sometimes talk but I consider the mun as a lovely friend. I like their portrayal of Saphir and their OC’s are wonderful!

@skullboysfinale - Another great multi-muse rp blog! The mun is someone I enjoy talking and plotting with and look forward to their updates on their muses!

@makoheadrush - one of my first rp partners here. She inspired me to try fanfic writing which I still do from time to time. I see her on other social media platforms and I love seeing updates about her trips, pets, and cooking.

@lickmyemr - Another friend who I met in FF7 rp. I miss her but I still see her on other platforms more and I’m glad she is doing well.

@tredispade - I known the mun for a few years now since I used to rp only FF7. I moved on to expand to other rpcs focusing on horror rp but I am always open to writing with them and catching up when give the chance.

@shutupreno - Known them for years. We used to send each other stuff from time to time. I still have their post cards and the French coin they got in their trip to Europe. I pinned the cards to my board in my room along with the cards from friends and family and tickets, one of my omamoris, and stuff from my travels. I keep the coin at my workstation. I think of it as a good luck charm. It’s special to me because they thought of me by sending it.

@mybikeasmypride - It’s been a long time since I heard from them, but I miss them. They’ve been a good friend. We got pretty close and talked on Skype several years ago. I still have the woodblock burning that’s a picture of Reno and the scarf they made. Sometimes, I wear it when it’s cold out.

@myfreespirit23 - I write and talk with them on and off Tumblr. I love seeing their muses like Joe and the story we created for them. I hope to talk with the mun more soon and write with them more!

@beloved-death - I’m grateful for Val! They have a great multi-muse blog with Mason being my favorite. I enjoy talking with Val, too. I think we followed each other for several years now but it was around last year when we got closer, which I am happy for!

@whispers-in-daydreams - I met her through two mutual friends, Rene and Blair. I’m glad I crossed paths with her because she is an amazing writer and friend. We share picture of our cats and updates while also writing threads and reply to ic asks. She is lovely and so are her muses!

@s-talking - Blair is someone I look up to as a writer, artist, and friend. He’s a dear friend of mine and I love his muses like Envy. I write more horror and dark romance because he and Rene are big inspirations. I always love seeing his ferrets and we share a love for animals. I always wish the best for him and I hope we will be friend for a long time.

@spectralhunter - Rene is a great person! I love his muses and I’m always happy to see him on my dash. His muses are becoming stronger characters and I love his ideas like with Takumi and his pet rat, Hunter. I’m working on fanart for Hunter (and Mrs. Saebom) and plan to finish those soon.

All in all, I always look forward to seeing him when I get the chance.

okay i just saw love and thunder and i need to get some things out. spoilers alert yk the drill

first of all i’ve said this in the tags a couple reblogs back but MY GOD don’t go see this movie if you want to see an action movie or worst a serious movie. this is not what this is. idk about you, but when i’m considering paying 15 bucks to see a movie i kinda want to know what i need to be looking forward to and L&T gave exactly what it said: an unserious, ridiculous, weird, corny ass lovecom that will allow you to turn your brain off for a little less than two hours and have fun

literally they described the plot as “imagine if you put a bunch of kids in the writers room, asked what they wanted to see in a thor movie, and then said yes to everything” and that’s what we got! why are you having a fit on twitter!!!!!!

ANYWAYS besides that it was really fun!! the room i was in was very open to the corny kiwi humor, everyone was laughing the whole time and even when it got cringey it was more funny than annoying and we all had a great time (im thinking of the “fake bad acting” choice in the directing but again i’m familiar with taika’s work so it didn’t bother me but some might find it upsetting)

AGAINNN its not the height of cinema and its not supposed to be. would i have liked more character development for val? yes absolutely this was my main hope so im a bit disappointed. but also i understand that there are more thor movies coming up and this one was about thor and jane and bringing closure to what we knew had been a serious/long-term relationship that just?? ended off screen suddenly. so i am hoping val is getting that next time and im not too worried about it

though you can’t take this away from waititi: the movie was really fucking pretty (yes ik a few wonky green screens but even actively looking for them i barely noticed besides the War Baby Flashback)

like hello the second face-off with the villain was insane???? christian bale is a crazy talented actor and i loved the video game-ish vibes it had (although ik my friend was kinda put off by it) but it was actually one of my favorite scenes

actually yk what the thematic of love was refreshing as hell… the fact that the antagonist had it against selfish and unresponsive gods rang with me and it was nice to see thor acknowledging that although he had very much been like that, he’s working on himself to be better

choosing to admit you’re defeated and just choose to pass ur last moment with your loved ones rather than fighting a loosing battle? how the movie treats important and heavy themes such as a loved one fighting a deadly illness, wanting the best for them and yet NEVER making choices for them… choosing love over hate always

again some people have HATED the last scene but guys? although i was not expecting it, it actually makes sm sense for thor. all he’s ever wanted was to take care of smn/someone, but the position he was given (crown prince then king) was just too much pressure on him and he just knew too well how utterly unfit he was for the job, and well although he could have grown into it, it was just not in the cards for him with the whole thanos disaster/ensuing depression

with this new development, he gets that AND stops this long cycle of loneliness and self-doubt he’s had going on for literal years. here he can’t doubt that he’s loved and needed, cause he now has a literal child in his custody that very definitely both loves and needs him and he CANNOT doubt that and thats so good for him and his confidence i think. also that single interaction was so fucking cute and natural are you kidding me??????

bonus points for the fact that it also allows him to grieve in a more healthy way because again, he can’t take care of a kid if he can’t take care of himself. no more brusso brothers alcoholism bs we’re in a healthy household now!

we knew it but val’s sexuality was confirmed and so were gay rock dads (squared)!!! and it felt damn good since last time we got that was with phastos which made me tear up a bit in eternals lmao

THIS WAS A MOVIE FOR KIDS!!!!! and that was so wholesome. yeah it’s a movie for kids and by kids too since the actors’ kids were all included both in the writing and monsters designing process (and featured in the movie too!) and i think it’s great that little kids out there can watch this movie and go huh i too can be a hero! it’s alright if i’m scared and it’s normal but i can do anything! and thats what heroes comics are about babeyyyy

might be repeating myself here but gd yall threw a fit because marvel was boring and yall wanted smn different and now you’re like “TOO DIFFERENT TOO DIFFERENT!!!” like pls go touch some grass its a fucking marvel movie it couldn’t be LESS deep

if, again, the movie was all about lame jokes, when it got to heavy scenes it did it very well. a few people got choked up during the final showdown and the scene just before it. and i think it takes talent to have people switch from hilarity to sad tears so organically

unfortunately the after credits scenes did not do it for me. although the prospect of bringing in greek mythology is cool ig, after seeing so many cool looking gods in that one scene i was like 1) zeus could have stayed dead actually 2) hercules is not the most exciting option but again? benefit of the doubt…lets see whats gonna happen…… also pretty sure the second post-cred was just waititi being like ‘aw fuck they killed heimdall? >:(( fuck that hey idris mate get ur ass on set’ bc it served nothing lmao but hey! not complaining about seeing heimdall one last time!

the way I actually learned more about him and his personality was through his tag on tumblr where people were sharing posts from his official Instagram account which unfortunately is empty because he got previously banned for being. Well. A misogynist. He acted too in-character and apparently people reported the account for abuse, which honestly sucks because there was like, A LOT there?

I can try and round up some posts about his general disposition and shit though! I actually put a decent amount of posts together because it was fun for me to dig through them all again. It's good character reference

Val makes Angel run small errands for him like shopping and ALSO look at Angel's wrist and sleeve. that is very clearly some sort of mini replica of Val's signature jacket so, Val apparently sends Angel out visibly marked as his property. Also in the comments Val is threatening him to hurry back to not miss another porn shoot so, controlling dickhead sent him out on an errand and then basically has a stopwatch out timing him. Why send him on the errand if Angel had a shoot scheduled anyways? I feel like it's just something to belittle him

Ok, this one took me a second to understand im context. Do you know those videos about cakes that can look like super realistic objects? Apparently Val takes Velvet out and plays a game where he has her, maybe even both of them together, STAB people to "see if they're cake". Is it just random people or does Val have her take down deliberate targets for his own needs? Who fucking knows but it's fucked up????

I don't have the link to the post specifically but it's been implied or stated through one of the Instagrams or livestreams that Valentino, Vox, and Velvet all chose their names, which I think is 1) found family and 2) them leaving their pasts behind. I think they all probably had really fucked up pasts and bonded somehow and then became The Three 3 Triumphate or whatever they call themselves. But then again they're all from different time periods so I assume they all met in Hell? I dunno don't listen to me

Anyways I would highly recommend checking out that Instagram archive account in some of the links above because it seems to be pretty thorough and has all the characters on it. I just may start doing some digging through it myself 👁👁

alix and val vidus are both ocs from barotrauma (the submarine horror game) and warframe (the meat robot dressup game), but they've gone very far from their source material so they might as well exist in their own original space lol (the ideas for alix are actually older, and ive made him over and over again for other games like risk of rain 2 and sunless sea, but his current self is the one im most happy with)

alix is the one with the most posts and mostly just exists as an excuse to make the most fuckable thing i can think of. he's a half-human half-"something" (alien dragon eel eldritch god thing) and the captain of the moreia submarine

val vidus is a mad scientist who gave herself the power of the infestation, an ability that lets her corrupt and change things and gives her fun bug anatomy. in her warframe lore she's kind of a silly villain who is aware of the players and likes to mess with them

murmur is one of my many, Many warframe ocs and he's closer to the game canon. he's a very large catboy meat-robot (a modified warframe) who works for val and thus is a silly villain like her, although he's very self-centered and assumes everyone is a fan of him. he's also the blog mascot lol

rhonda is alix's medic companion, also from barotrauma and significantly closer to canon than alix. she was originally an assassin sent to kill him but betrayed the orders of her superiors to use alix for her own personal goals

pretty much those 4 are the guys i make the most posts about while the other warframe ocs occasionally appear here and there sdkjfhskj
