#deltarune#kris dreemurr#the player#im not tagging this spoilers bc frankly this couldve been construed from the first chapter alone#art tag#idk how many people read my tags but i DO wanna talk about this a lil bit for those who do#i really want to explore the relationship between the player (us) and kris in more depth bc i dont think its as simple as it looks#like. its not like we were given a choice whether or not to control kris. thats just how the game was set up#and i think im safe in assuming that most of us dont want to hurt kris and would talk directly to them if we could#(snowgrave/weird route nonwithstanding)#so i dont really think we're the villain unless we're being assholes on purpose#HOWEVER#even if we could talk to kris would we actually do what they want? probably not tbh#we all want to be nice to everyone and explore the world. i really doubt thats within kris' comfort zone#and some good has come of it (the friendship with susie for one)#but as someone with social anxiety i think i would really hate somebody puppeting around my body forcing me to be outgoing#i dont think kris is a bad kid and i dont think they ACTUALLY want to destroy everything#theyre just your average troubled teen with average teen angst#and we're interfering with that#get out of their room MOM
