hudson: now this is a trumpetist. strong, flashy, yellow....

warren: timpani. mighty warren chae is bursting the ear drums of the poor fuckers sitting in front of him

sally: viola, often overlooked but necessary harmonically to support the rest of the orchestra. also has such a rich warm tone when allowed to shine PLEASE GIVE HER MORE SCREENTIME FUCK

johan: violin originally, but he can play anything...i think some of his favourites are the clarinet and the flute. they sound beautiful but they have a very piercing tone, which reminds of martial arts like taekwondo (the guy loves his axe kicks)

big deal

jake: oboe........the orchestra tunes to it which parallels jakes leadership under big deal. also just as flashy as mma, requires a ton of skill

jerry: the other oboe player LOL he lets jake have first desk. or he plays english horn (the instrument the oboe doubles, like how flutes can play piccolo)

sinu: ....french horn? trumpet? he also just feels like the players i know. but lorewise he also plays oboe i guess

Fun Fen Fact! Some back surgeries require surgeons to go through the abdomen, and although newer research is showing the complications of doing so, I don't think feywild witchlight doctors really care about that! :) In my own personal headcanon (hehehe) I say that Torbek has quite a large scar on his back and a thin long scar on his abdomen where the tubing of the witchlight was pulled through and grafted to his body tissue and possibly organs. Each of the scars that has a witchlight tube connected to it constantly seems infected and angry. Both because Torbek messes with his tubes a lot and because his body is still aggravated by the witchlight. The only scar that has healed somewhat cleanly is the scar on his front, which will probably eventually grow fur again in time once Torbek stops picking at the scabs (so me fr). The notch in his ear is from him ripping out the tag that was once in it. His right paw is more or less permanently disfigured and discolored, being the dominant hand that he would use for combat and therefore being the most witchlight-manipulated. The visible veins of witchlight on his right claws glow and pulse, sometimes entirely seeming to disappear. I really really really wish I knew how his canisters work I want to know their mechanical secrets so BADLY!!! I'm only up to ep 34 im dying to learn the secrets of the Torbek I also find it extremely amusing that I did the lineart for the warning but not the lineart for the actual piece that the warning is for LMAO

Okay, I have made a list of the 7 tiers of DC popularity, this is mostly focused on DC projects outside of the comics while they may be popular within comics they are nearly unknown to those who don't actually read the comics. I am using the term "project" for anything outside of comics books (TV shows, movies, games).

Top (1) tier:

Batman, I don't have to explain this one

2nd tier:

Everyone know these characters if they are a fan or not, has been in many popular projects throughout their times, and has at least 1 project named after them and has been a main character in many many more.

Examples: Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash (Barry), Harley Quinn, Green Lantern (Hal)

Dick Grayson is also in this category, but he doesn't have a name title by himself, but he does share a title, so he is still aloud here (also, let's be fr everyone knows who Robin is)

3rd tier:

Has been in more than one popular adaptation and usually plays a big role/ large effect in that adaptation. Most people will also know these characters, and they play leading roles in more than one project but are not always the main character

Examples: Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, Green Lantern (John), Flash (Wally), Supergirl (Kara), Tim Drake, Jason Todd

4th tier:

These characters have been in at least 1 popular adaptation and played an important role or has been in many different unpopular/ mid adaptations. This will also include upcoming projects.

Examples: Green Lantern (Jess), Green Arrow, John Constantine, Deathstroke, Plastic Man, Zatanna Zatara, Martian Manhunter, Superboy

5th tier:

Has been adapted into a DC project outside of comics, but have only been in a few mostly unpopular adaptations, or only appears in one thing and was kinda important to that, but the project or their character wasn't very popular, they're just not enough for 4 but appear too much for 6

Examples: Black Canary, Roy Harper, Deadman, Joey Wilson, Atom, Death of the Endless, Green Lantern (Guy), Cassandra Cain, Garth

6th tier:

Cameo's. Only around 5 minutes outside the comics max, you might not know about any of the things they appear in, or you blink and miss them. They are on the fine line of existence

Examples: Green Lantern (Kyle), Donna Troy, Pantha, Red Star, Wildcat, Lian Harper, Shade the Changing Man

Bottom (7) tier:

Comic purgatory, self explanation, these characters have never left the comics, not even for a cameo

Examples: Mia Dearden, Green Lantern (Alan, Simon, Jo), Jesse Quick, Risk, Supergirl (Mae), Omen, Kid Devil, Damage

This was made mostly of the top of my head, so if something's wrong, I'm sorry. Also, feel free to add more characters to the different tiers, or if you think one of the examples should be moved, I'd love to hear who and why you think they should be moved. Also, if you wanna know any appearance of tier 6 characters, I can show you.

Yk it really bothers me when I see people talking about eurylochus and the crew like they were the problem. It just feels like everyone is just missing the point. Yes they stopped listening to ody, yes eurylochus opened the wind bag, but that's what makes them so human.

Picture this, you leave your home to fight in a war. It takes literal years for this war to be over. You've lost friends, you miss your family, you've been through hell. You're starving and your captain tells you they found food on this island.

And then the cyclops happens. More friends die, you barely escape with your life, and your captain gives his name to the creature that killed your friends.

And everything after that is a direct cause of that decision.

So you hesitate to trust him. Yes he's smart, he's capable, he always has a plan. But he would do anything to get home, and you know that. So when he comes back to the ship claiming to have a bag full of wind, and when he refuses to let anyone near, refuses to trust his own crew, you get suspicious.

Its been about a decade by this point, and your captain seems to get more and more desperate to get home. A god is after you. Odysseus is forcing himself to stay away, all to make sure nobody touches that bag.

Its human, it's realistic, it makes sense that someone would open the bag. Because odysseus stopped trusting you, and so you stop trusting him. So you open the bag.

I just find it frustrating that people look at the crew/eurylochus as bad guys because of this, as pawns for ody to get home and thats it. The point of the show is that ody has become a monster, has dealt with and left behind his humanity. We, as listeners, root for him. We give him grace because of his circumstances. Because he's the main character.

But for some reason, people don't give that same grace to the crew. They're human, their circumstances are awful too. They have no idea if they will get home, they aren't sure then can trust their captain anymore. They question things. They make mistakes. They cause the deaths of others. It's human, its that feeling you get when you think that maybe hope is lost after all, it's what this story is about. Mistakes and loss and blame.

People dislike Eurylochus because he opened the bag. But odysseus gave the cyclops his name. And polites trusted the lotus eaters. And Athena told odysseus to be cruel to a fault. Nobody here is innocent, not really. And none of them knew better either. They were working with what they had, with the terrible circumstances at hand. It's no wonder they made mistakes. It's no wonder people died.

Why are we ignoring the humanity of the crew? Why are we arguing that they, or that eurylochus, deserved it? If the story was about them, odysseus would be seen as the bad guy. But he's the main character, so the others are stupid and wrong, right? All that matters is that odysseus gets home, right? Even if it costs the lives of his crew. His crew who stopped trusting him when he stopped trusting them. His crew who he sacrificed to get home.

I think we're missing the point here. Odysseus did become a monster, and although we cheer for him getting home and Penelope and Telemachus forgive him, we have to acknowledge that he did do terrible things. Those men will never see their families again. Why are we erasing that humanity in them?

Humans do bad things for the sake of saving themselves or the ones they love. That includes Odysseus. That includes Eurylochus. That includes the crew. And that includes every other character in this musical.

still makes me crazy months after playing about aitsf's insane familial relationships. date who took mizuki in and raised her as his own where renju and shoko couldn't. mizuki who still loves shoko and renju dearly, but they can't provide what she needs. but she's able to find that parental love in date. hitomi who raises manaka's daughter like her own, and who means so so much to her she can't bear the thought of losing her. she'll go to great lengths to stop that from happening. mayumi who just wants the best for her son no matter how hard it is. ota who loves his mom so so much but doesn't really realize how much effort she puts in for him until her dementia's getting worse. saito who lacked the proper support system and any love or care from so sejima at all. ryuki who still can't get over his twin brother's death, like he lost his other half. komeji who's falling on hard times as a comedian but really just wants the best for his family and allows himself to get into dangerous situations for shoma's sake. shoma who, really deep down loves his dad, despite everything, but can't express that until it's too late in the true ending. bibi who cares so much about mizuki and is deeply protective of her even when mizuki's too young to really know it. kizuna who only really knew bibi for a few years as her foster sister but that time meant so much to her. shizue who took bibi in and just kinda lets her do her own thing, once she's grown. jin who was born out of an affair, and adopted by a different family, but his birth parents still going to great extremes to get rid of the tumors on his body. uru who was abandoned and kidnapped and used as a glorified organ donor, imprisoned and secluded away from the outside world, but longed for maternal love from tokiko, and resented jin for receiving the love he didn't get. tokiko who taught uru the teachings of naix out of pity. amame who's been forced to choose, forced to deal with the terrible hand she's dealt, wishing that if things had gone differently maybe her father would still be alive.
