watching everyone around me get into a silly game you can play with friends while i get neck deep into a lore heavy single player game is oddly um, isolating. as it has been all the previous times this has happened. which it has. multiple times

#im not kidding when i say xiv is one of my first actual multiplayer games...#a lot of games w multiplayer function i tend to only play solo bc. not wanting to bother ppl. not wanting to play w strangers #xiv has been really good for me in that sense. helped me socialise a lot. probably part of why i latched onto it as hard #but idk im kinda waving my flag at ppl from afar atm... shuffles my feet. trying not to alienate myself about it #certainly dont intend on spending money just to feel included tho fuck that not worth
