one of my headcanons about joker is that girlll he definitely has nerve damage. he so needs a physical therapist
#chronic pain besties teehee#HEAR ME OUTTTTT#so it could go either way#im more pro mysterious backstory joker (who definitely went thru trauma)#but especially if he did fall in a vat of chemicals#those nerve endings are fried homie#but anyway#dc joker#joker#um batman joker?#batman joker#it makes sense to me cuz he takes hits so easy#other than prolly being a masochist#the pain he gets from getting the shit beaten out of him#feels almost soothing in comparison to the constant burning pain#its still pain but in a different way for him#he definitely also dissociates sometimes and laughs as a coping mechanism for pain or extreme emotions#but when it comes to nerve damage#it can also numb#so if u scratch urself on a part of u that has nerve damage u wont feel the pain or wont feel it nearly as bad
