I am obsessed with the phrasing of "their own bones", of course implying either chickens collect bones that are not their own such as that of a sheep or perhaps that chickens have bones in their bodies that are not their own which itself implies either a terrifying dystopian system or like, some kind of cooperative ownership mayhaps.

Okay and I am now making chicken existence appear kind of fae-ish which I'm admittedly not opposed to the idea of because it's both delightful and hilarious.
