in re: what philippa is doing prior to the arc: just lil science missions. i wanna say shes done some triage before, so shes probably been in a warzone as a field medic by this point. i dont think shed be necessarily choosing short term missions for the sake of hearing news about her sister, i think shed do what shes assigned? (not really sure how it works tbH) and its more of an intuitive feeling just kinda eating at her. I DONT HAVE A NAME FOR THE SHIP(s), nothing too important or flashy. i dont think shed work on galaxy class or w/e the family ships are.

in re: time duration of things in general for the arc???: current influencers are like:::::::: its not enough time to where starfleet's concerned to go look for them in the DQ, but they havent contacted starfleet in a while (maybe the mission called for "comm silence") but regardless, it doesnt sit well with philippa. it also has to be enough time for amelia's ship to like, get out to the DQ for their mission, for things to go wrong, for her to take charge, for the ship to MAYBE??? be destroyed (hmmm put a pin here maybe theyll need the ship to transport crew……), for the crew to get separated/captured/enslaved/killed, for amelia to try and survive on her own, for her to get captured by the Kazon and eventually rise in status to command alongside Sessen,,,, develop their friendship,,,,, they seem a little friendship platonic with benefits to me,,, might change my mind on that idk. ANYWAY enough time for their Kazon sect to fall apart/be defeated, sessen to die, have a few months of amelia nomadically wandering the DQ again and be slightly pregnant (can be four months, can be less if u wanna heck w/ gestation) my brain wants to guess around a year???, just cuz i dont wanna waste too much time on this arc when i gotta shove philippa into command track and CAPTAIN. and it'd be like another year of philippa searching for her by the time theyre reunited.

Not super sure what happens to the rest of Amelia’s starship crew? If any of them are found, how do they get home? PUTTING A PIN IN THAT ONE, i see a few possibilities but nothing super uuuuuh Solid haha. YEAH I DONT KNOW HOW EXACTLY IM GONNA GO ABOUT THE CREW,,,,, but i figure thats probably A GOAL TO HAVE. i figure for sure amelia's captain is dead and it put her in that command position and she didnt like it and everything went amuck under her leadership blah blah blah i was thinking like, maybe if philippa has this experimental spacecraft this whole time, maybe she ends up using that, giving it to the crew to get home at some point,,,, but IM NOT SURE, seems like things could get overpopulated rather quickly, i also figure a lot of them are dead,,,,,,,,,,,,, id have to think about what weird quirky dangerous things you could do with a classified starfleet ship. ANOTHER IDEA is that maybe Amelia's crew's starship is crashlanded somewhere, and like, its abandoned, but as Philippa and Ed find more crew members, they start getting more and more people to work on repairing the ship??? maybe they use the lil craft Philippa stole to get around, but most of them are on this crummy planet working on the ship while Philippa and Ed are out searching for more of them??? i dunno haha.

in re: how Ed meets up with Philippa out in the DQ: one idea id had was maybe theyd meet in an alien bazaar or something, Philippa getting into trouble because shes secretly carrying a starfleet comm badge to communicate and gets captured or something bc the locals hate Voyager, Ed gets her out and they escape together.

Amelia finding out she’s pregnant while she’s still with the Kazon and Sessen, just ‘cause I think they’d talk about raising baby by Kazon standards and tradition and talk about the importance of names. I think "Sessen" would have been the name Seska gave him when he was born and then he kept it rather than earning an adult name for himself, Amelia has a weird history with her name as well. She’s nervous about raising their son here, but buries those fears underneath the assurance that they’re together.

I was thinking that in the time after Amelia loses Sessen and escapes the other Kazon sects and everything that she'd kinda just drift from place to place trying to survive making ends meet doing weird jobs and trying to stay hidden. Philippa and Ed find Amelia temporarily living on a planet or in a cluster of asteroids as a space racer maybe? She’s like a little visibly preggers…

in re: Ed's thoughts about Suspiria dying::: i think Ed has a very unique perspective on life and death, going around studying other cultures' religions, i think both him and her would have an understanding and acceptance of things by the end of their time together. like suspiria's EFFECTIVELY the last of her kind; string theory ends with all of the Nacene "ascending" and Suspiria is presumed dead so shes not there the entire book. and LIKE, my idea with that is just that shes unknowingly searching for her people to no avail the whole time. :^) anyway Ed and Suspiria's WHOLE THING is finding weird little alien short term solutions to help keep Suspiria alive so she can return and replenish herself in the nacene realm Exosia,,, which unbeknownst to her is impossible now hohoho :3c I DIGRESS THOUGH ed's perspective on it likeeeeee i think he'd miss her but also be happy for her in a weird way that she was finally ready to move on from grasping onto life and all that. :^) dark kermit me wants to have her die protecting/saving Amelia's hypothetical baby boy but I DUNNOOOOOOOO hehe :3

Philippa and Amelia inevitably returning home to Starfleet with the remaining crew members of Amelia’s ship. Starfleet pardons Philippa for stealing a classified experimental shuttle (that Jace helped her steal) maybe Amelia (and Philippa?) is/are offered a promotion? Amelia ends up declining and resigning from Starfleet, maybe Philippa gets promoted to Lieutenant? Starfleet presumes it was more of Amelia’s doing in getting her crew home. :( Amelia corrects the error :)

HOTD Modern AU where everyones dragons are some kind of reptile or amphibian.  Sooo, I finally gathered the courage to add my own stuff to the HOTD fandom, lol. I love reptiles, specifically Komodo dragons, I’ve made like 3 different college projects with them and it was impossible for me to not see Vhagar as one, I’ve seen other really good takes with old grandma V being a snapping turtle, an alligator and so on, and then I decided to imagine my own modern AU were all the Targaryan dragons in HOTD are some kind of reptile pet! -Because Targ shenanigans they do have a special bond with their reptile friend (Thats the only way you get a croc and a Komodo to dont eat you, lol). -The dragon keepers are a special reptile breeder company, the Targs are like one of their most important clients . -To add more lore and stuff I like the idea of them living in a made up european country called Valyria, like Genovia from the princess diaries, or at least just a modern westeros and Valyria being their something something big company where they work. -If they live in Valyria they do have the monarchy problems, but without the murder plis, Aegon ll its like fuck you all and runs away to Italy or France and starts a wine company called “The usurper” xD.  -Because I like Jacegon, Jace goes along with him so he doesn’t die from bad decisions and because I think he’ll be more reliable with the new company stuff hahahahaha, Aegon just tests the wine ok 😂?  -Lucerys its also like, the crown? No thanks, and goes to college to study literature, also in the some college as Aemond, who’s in a History major, they’re roommates 👀. -Joffrey its even less interested in the crown and decides to help his grampa Corlys with Driftmark. -I’m mexican, I dont know how Dukedoms and all that fancy european stuff works, Driftmark can be one of those or something, I’ll do some research after the reptile drawings ok xD? -That way the crown can go to little Aegon the younger without anybody dying yay. -Rhaenyra its not that ok with this, but she loves her kids, and hopes little Egg doesn’t run away too.... Im just starting with my favorite incest deranged couple, Lucemond 😚. I think its obvious this is not completed at all 😅, but I was really exited about it and wanted to talk about it after being working on it all day 😄.

More stuff about the not dragons! -They can’t live the hundreds of years of the dragons, so lets make them live as long as their owner lives, an average 80-90 years, for this HC sake hahahaha, specially because turtles, komodos and crocs are able to live long lives too! So lets make all the other special Targ reptiles/amphibians live longer too 😝. -This makes Grandma V, Vhagar ll, because Vhagar l was Visenya’s, when Laena dies in some kind of accident Aemond claims Vhagar ll so she doesn’t die, specially because she wasn’t that old then, wiki says Laena dies at 27, I havent thought that much about what happens in the Driftmart incident, but something happens 👀! -Then the Viserys l Balerion it’s Balerion ll too! Vissy T gets to keep his croc and makes him an awesome enclosure, lol. Alicent never goes there 😂, but Viserys likes to see when the servants feed him or to just chat with his friend, he has this really nice enclosure like in the zoos where you can go like underground and see them swim.

-Helaena’s kids can have little geckos or something cute like that, I need to think about it 🤔.

-Im not very sure about Caraxes being a red Tegu, they’re awesome, but I don’t know if I should make him be something else, any thoughs anyone 🤔? If you have any other ideas that are different from the ones I have so far let me know 😉!! The only ones that Im very sure about are Vhagar and Arrax, I’m really in love with the idea, and I also like them all being something different, except for Silverwing and Vermithor uwu.

eh i feel like generally i talk mostly about magnus bc Every Other Blog (not literally obviously but like, in general) talks about Only Alec just like…..24/7

so while i like him fine, he’s like, mostly Magnus’s Love Interest on my blog lghjflgkhjfgh but honestly just generally while i do like him i honestly don’t find him that….interesting, individually, i guess? i mean he’s not quite boring, but he’s not a character i really relate to

so the reason i don’t really write alec-centric stuff is like. 1. i just don’t find him as interesting (although i’ve had a few ideas, they’ll likely never be published thanks to…) 2. Spite

aka the alec stans suck. the Alec Stans™ to be clear, the ones who suck, not everyone who likes alec. but like, yeah

anyway let’s not just talk salt and me being petty, despite alec being not my fave i can afford to answer one (1) ask without my entire blog crumbling down and revealing i’ve been an alec stan this whole time without me even knowing it

ok so alec headcanons i guess

1. alec was a chatty kid. not what you’d think, right? but then like, he was taking care of izzy, bc she’s his baby sister and Protective, and jace wasn’t really the type to listen to him. like, ever. alec would suddenly realize jace hadn’t been listening the whole time pretty much every time he tried to have a conversation with him or talk about things he was interested in, even when he listened when jace talked about his latest crush or whatever he was interested in. alec started abruptly going quiet before his sentence was finished, and jace didn’t seem to notice or was just like oh good you’re finally done talking, here’s what i was gonna say. eventually alec gives up. he still talks to izzy but she’s so little it’s a lot slower paced and he usually pays more attention to her than what he wants to say bc Baby Sister. by the time izzy’s old enough to like, properly, hold a conversation (she is also pretty chatty) alec’s already gone a lot quieter. by the time we see him, he basically doesn’t initiate conversation on things he’s interested in that aren’t work-related. he does still sometimes talk to izzy, but it’s hard to get the words out and get everything sounding right, so he gets annoyed with himself. it doesn’t come as easy anymore.

and not to show my magnus stan roots but magnus is kind of similar, albeit way less clear cut, he tends to ramble and talk a lot about his special interests only to shut himself up when he realizes he’s definitely boring whoever he’s talking to (he isn’t, necessarily, but after enough times being told to shut up when you get excited you believe everyone wants you to shut up.) and then he was trying to keep up the whole classy unaffected stylish “def not an adorkable disaster bi nerd, i am dangerous deadly unaffected lothario man who has never even heard of star trek or whatever” facade, and rambling about whatever interested him didn’t really fit that. so he retreated more into himself, too. he did have his friends to talk to, but catarina is so busy and he doesn’t want to bother her and raphael doesn’t want to hear his foolish old dad ramble on, does he, and ragnor–he’d always put up with magnus’s babble, and listened, but magnus felt like he was boring him and then ragnor was–well.

anyway so to united these, then, they met each other. and it takes a while, but they get comfortable with each other. magnus goes on a long ramble about a potion he’s been trying to get just right and then cuts himself off, embarrassed, and apologizes for probably boring alec, and alec’s like what? no, that was really interesting, i was listening, can you explain the thing with the mandrake root? and magnus is like…oh.. (also side note: magnus is incredibly cute when rambling about things he’s interested in, he waves his hands a lot and his eyes are all excited and warm and he’s so lively, and clearly passionate, that it’s engaging and pulls you in. like a really good professor. and sometimes he starts talking about something way above most people’s heads without realizing how Smart he is, but if you ask him to clarify he’s like, totally non-condescending and explains it in creative and understandable way????? sorry im in love with adhd magnus thanks to someone anyway)

and then vice versa, alec slowly feels more comfortable talking about things that interest him, like a book he’s been reading and how it’s so fucking stupid the heroine went for the “blonde bad boy” when he’s such a dick to her, or whatever, like it starts as an angry rant about something but before he can cut himself off he realizes magnus is listening. like, actually listening. and like, if it’s appropriate, magnus will ask questions, engage in what alec’s talking about, and alec finds himself getting better at putting to words what he means and magnus is never mean about it, always patient and understanding

yeah i think people don't really realize when it comes to alec that choosing to be immortal is like a REALLY REALLY big decision it's not just whatever

i mean, i’m sure people interpret things differently so i don’t want to say that they haven’t thought about it enough or whatever, but idk man the massive and enormous difference between mortality and immortality is so significant that, as i’ve said before, really makes it hard for me to even really fathom this issue on a character level - like there are very significant burdens to immortality as, like, every single piece of fiction with immortal characters can attest to lol

like again because immortality doesn’t exist in our world it can be difficult to really think about which is why i dont like to bc i get too caught up in it lol. i think a lot of people think of immortality as just an extended distance between point A (birth) and point B (death) but immortality isn’t just a longer lifespan, it’s point A without any point B and therefore no possible linear progression from the start to the anticipated destination so it really Changes the entire game of, like, living and aging lol it becomes agelessness, in a sense. we’re obviously all mortal so we don’t always realize, i think, how very very very very much our lives are framed by their own finite-ness and the implicit understanding that we are in, essentially, a linear progression to the point B that represents death BUT that’s entirely irrelevant to immortality as it relates to alec that was just a huge tangent lol 

to preface: none of this is me saying that malec should have a tragic mortal/immortal ending, or that i don’t think alec could or should choose to be immortal at some point down the line (he could! he should!), but just factors that i think should be considered when the immortality problem is solved in the show so please just please be calm

but back to alec, i think the loss of loved ones who aren’t magnus isn’t something people think about in its complete implication - like i see a lot of people treat alec’s love for his family as an obligation he deserves to be freed from. and don’t get me wrong, one of my favourite juxtapositions Ever in life and fiction is the contrast between alec’s love-from-duty for his family and alec’s love-equals-freedom for magnus so there is a significant and not-incidental sense of obligation there compared to with magnus that is one of my favourite things about the malec relationship, but i don’t think that undercuts the immense love that alec feels for people like izzy and jace and max, for one thing, and the utter devastation that having to experience their deaths would bring. 

but that’s pretty intuitive, but i don’t think people always take into consideration the fact that the lightwood line isn’t going to end there. i presume (hope) that clary and jace would have kids, and maybe izzy and simon if simon gets de-vamped as in the books. so having to watch those children grow up and loving them as family, they have children, then they die, and watch their children, and their children’s children, your entire lineage, everything that ever connected you to someone else, everyone who was even ever alive when you were young, every memory and keepsake you had of these people you loved with all your being, just fade into oblivion…………as im sure magnus can attest to, that would be frickin harrowing. so it’s not just “yeah izzy and jace will die and it’ll suck but he’ll get over the grief after like a hundred years or something and plus he gets to be with magnus forever” like the burden of immortality isn’t one to be taken lightly tbh like im sure there will be a million happy wonderful things to look forward to with immortal husbands magnus and alec but there are two sides to every coin that i’m sure would need to be taken into consideration by alec as well as by the writers who would need to bring this organically into his character arc - like the benefits should clearly outweigh the costs in the way that it should be depicted on the show imo

also, im sure this isn’t one that alec would be like, focused on over the idea of all his other loved ones dying before his eyes, or the thought of having to lose or be lost by magnus aka the eventual love of his life, which i think would be the two main (and warring) impulses behind the choice of being immortal (assuming that that’s even a ready choice, but really this whole thing is stipulated on that assumption) - but i would be interested to know what the implications might be on his career and work as a shadowhunter, being like the only immortal shadowhunter ever, or at least one of few. i feel like it would be affected in some way, but i dont really have any thoughts that merit discussing, just a random point that might be interesting to think about lol

so yeah. immortality is like. Significant lol. so, you know what i mean, i really really really really dont want it to be just “oh magnus i want to be with you forever let me sip this immortality potion!” after, like, a two-episode arc. like i know and have faith in the show that they would never do it that stupidly and callously, but i’m talking like a season-long arc at the very least lol like i need this shit to be handled with a Lot of care and attention to character of alec before it happens, if it happens at all in the actual canon, is all i’m saying and all i ever usually say lol like i have 100% faith that the malec relationship will easily become something that can justify something this huge, because it is already a beautiful relationship even as it is in its fairly early stages, but i need it to be done so properly you know what i mean because the implications on both the character and the relationship would be So Damn Huge that it shouldn’t be taken lightly but i mean who knows SH could be cancelled after like season 4 and then where will we be lol so this entire discussion could just be for nothing

I've always a certain amount of luck all my life. i don't know if you would consider myself extremely lucky or extremely unlucky. ever since i was born I've had countless near-death experiences. my first was when i was born. i was born blue and not breathing with no heartbeat. the doctors proclaimed it a stillbirth. but after a few minutes, i was breathing normally.

I've been declared legally dead more times then i could count. eventually, my mom couldn't take the stress anymore and gave me up for adoption. i never knew my dad and he wasn't on my birth certificate.

dying wasn't new to me. but something weird happened this time

the other 17-year-old boys who would use pick on me said they wanted to start over. i was foolish and ii believed them

i went to where they wanted to meet me. it was an old playset next to a river and well. I started walking there and i met with the other boys.

now i would like to say I'm a nice kid. i never wanted to hurt anyone. at least i never wanted to kill them. i like birds and puppies. i cried when i stepped on a beetle. and this made me weak to the other boys my age. i was always the but of the joke. they would always hit me and beat me up when other ones looking. they would do it even when someone was looking to. because the teachers hated me.

so i was happy to finally make some friends.

Shadley, the leader of the group came up to me first with his minion's kade and Jace in tow.

"hey, chase. good to see you buddy" he said placing a meaty hand on my shoulder

"h-hey" i stuttered

"look, i just wanted to say how sorry i am for what we've done to you and i would like for us to be friends," he said giving me a wide ear to ear grin.

this seemed too good to be true

"o-ok?" i said hesitantly

"great!" he said " and friends play games dont they? do you want to play a game with us?" he asked

the air suddenly felt colder. and i felt uneasy

"I'm sorry but i have to get back or ill miss lunch" i muttered eyes looking at his white Nikes

i suddenly felt two hands grab each of my arms

"come on, it's just a little game" Shadley smirked as kade and Jace hauled me up by my arms

i screamed and kicked but i was a stick compared to them. i cried as they brought me over to the old well. the hung me over the darkness by my ankles.

i screamed and cried for them to pull me back up and i promised i wouldn' tell anyone. not that it would have mattered if i did.

i looked back up at them my tears trailing and falling into the darkness below

"its just a game, don't be a baby. hey guys, i think he wants to go down father" he smirked

the grip on my ankles slipped and i fell another few inches into the well

i screamed again.ut not because of the boys dangling me. but because i saw two blood-red orbs looking at me through the darkness. they seemed to stare into my soul.

i screamed again this time the creature screamed along with me. a loud screech burst from where its lips should be.

the sound of the screams together in a tight space must have been too loud because the grip on my ankles slipped and suddenly i was falling.

down...

down...

down then i hit the water.

and i died.

then i was back. i was now sitting in front of the well. where it was summer it was now snowing. i stood up confused. this has never happened before. i walked over to the playground and sat on the swings.i almost didn't notice the person who took a seat next to me on the other swing.

i looked over and there was a girl. about 14 with long dark black hair and pale skin. she was wearing a white dress.

"hi?" i said

she turned her eyes to me. they were dark. like so dark they looked like they were sucking in all the light and none would escape.

"hello chase," she said giving a soft smile

"how do you know my name? i asked uncomfortably

"i know a lot of things. like how your mother gave up on you. how older people hate you. how much you have those bullies" she said

"how-who-what are you?" i asked stepping off the swings and taking a step back

"my name is Riley. and I'm a Reaper" she said like it explained everything

"what? you're the grim reaper?" i asked skeptically.

she shook her head

"I'm a reaper. there are more than one"

"Why are you here? what do you want from me?" i asked. is it my time to finally die?

"I'm here to help you," she said smiling softly again

"why would you want to do that? I'm a nobody. go help Shadley." i said looking down

"no. your more important then you can ever know," she said while placing a hand on my face gently.

she continued" I'm your friend now. you always wanted a friend right? a real one? i can be that for you. i can help you get rid of your enemy. and i can rule by your side. Shadley,Jace, and Kane. we can stop them"

"i don't want to hurt anyone" i shook my head

"but it's not only you who they are hurting. other kids are being hurt as well. if you won't stop them for yourself cant you stop them from hurting others?" she said softly

it's not fair. they get everything want. they hurt whoever they want. a feeling that i never felt before flooded into me. rage. pure unbridled rage

"take my hand" she smiled. and i did. her skin felt like ice. we walked to the orphanage. i looked down and noticed she wasn't wearing any shoes. but her feet crunched on snow without showing any sign of hyperthermia.

as we walked past people sitting outside i noticed none of them looked at us.

"don't worry.long as you with me, they can't see you," she explained

we walked until we were inside the room that belonged to the bullies.

i was about to ask what was going on when the three but into the room bringing a scrying screening girl with them

i wanted they tried to hold her as she screamed and tried to get out of the room.

i looked at the reaper

"do something!" i yelled.

"you have to give me permission," she said narrowing her eyes

"fine whatever!i give you permission" i yelled. god, i wish i had stopped to think but the screams had reached and gotten into head.

suddenly the girl was standing above Kane holding what looked like a scythe made out of bone. she swung it down.

blood splatter everywhere and got all over me. then it was Jace's turn. the girl waved her hand and his neck snapped so hard the bones came out and sprayed blood everywhere, on me included.

then Shadley. having seen what happened to his friends he tried to make a run for it. his ankles were grabbed by the reaper and she sat on his backstabbing with the scythe. he cried out and the blade was drawn across his throat

i thought it was over.

but then they scythe was buried into the girl's throat.

tears ran down my face

"why?" i cried

the reaper didn't answer but picked up a dish that had fallen in the chaos. she filled it with the blood of the 3 boys and girl then walked up to me

before i could move the blood was shoved down my throat and i collapsed choking

"the blood of those who hurt you along with the blood of a virgin" she said raising her arms

then she started a chant. it wasn't any language i knew but i could still somehow understand it.

"a child of death and darkness shall be brought into the light

he shall be the end of heavens might

a demon father and a mother gone

have left his mind fractured and done

to remember who he was before

to help the blood stain the floor

though the angels try to bend and break

the Reapers will help him serve his fate

the blood of tormenters and pure combined

shall raise the new king to all demonkind"

i couldn't breathe. my eyes rolled back into my head and i felt blood pouring out through my nose. my tail bone hurt and so did my head and mouth. i screamed until the pain vanished. i ran my hand over the spots only to discover horns had sprouted from my head and a large spiked tail from the end of my spine.

my teeth sharp and to bite. i stood up my head now clear

i remember now. the angels. they wanted to kill me. they knew i was too strong.

i looked at the girl who was now smiling with approval her eyes growing red.

i let out a guttural screech and she joined into my battle call the sound shattering all nearby glass and causing other people in the building to clutch their ears and fall to the floor bleeding out.

i have to go now.

hell was waiting for me.

no matter what even did, they could never stepped fate.

i used to be weak

but now i am strong

i am not human

not anymore

i am the antichrist.

and all of heaven and hell shall kneel to me, or be destroyed.

there will be a cliffhanger, if only minor

at this point, with how connected the curse has made them, if julian or emma were to die, the other one would as well, not from sadness or killing themselves, but because they sustain each others injuries and physical pain(the spell put on julian seems to suspend this, however im not certain that will last very long)

thule is a Thing thats happening 

the unseelie king has a personal score to strike with emma and julian, on top of his overall hatred of, and plan to end, the shadowhunters

emma, julian, clary, and jace apparently spend a significant portion of the novel in faerie and if they are in unseelie lands, their runes and other shadowhunter weapons will be useless

its been heavily implied the horace knows about julian and emma being in love

furthermore, the centurions, who are primarily cohort members, were alone in the la institute for most of los, leaving them with free range to poke around anywhere they wanted(emma’s room, which has stolen clave files in it, julian’s studio, that has a room full of paintings of emma, the attic, the office, etc)

the kids just??? dont like helen??? they blame her for not being around?? im sad
