first of all damn. like damn. they really did it. those crazy sons of bitches did it. they ended this beloved show in a way that was cathartic, happy, full of tension, and did all the characters justice. my faith in star wars has been restored. i am so happy

I like to imagine the unofficial sequel for tmdg involves Reader navigating her pregnancy while gradually falling out of love with Floyd, Jade being his usual obsessed, silly self, and Floyd slowly starting to fall for Reader because he thinks Shrimpy looks soooo cute when she's so pregnant and hormonal. OTL the timing is too unlucky because she likes Jade now. <3 aaaaa maybe one day the eels might share, but Jade won't let that happen anytime soon. ^^;;;

okay ive never really done any kind of structured behind-the-scenes explanation behind any of my things so bear with me LOLL

okay so i wanted to showcase just like. my interpretation of the lando/carlos/oscar dynamic ??? because obv carlando was such a special team combo, both because carlos was landos first teammate and their weird energy sync. and i think its special in a way that dando wasnt (no shade to dando i love u guys. carlando is just crazy) because both of them had their own ex teammate hangups (carlos and max) that they were fine just vibing with each other and being besties

then comes landoscar, which is special in a different way because now lando is the mentor and oscar is getting his first f1 teammate so of course there is a kind of bond inherent in that but again. carlando is just crazy bonded from that teammate stint and oscar can feel his ghost hanging around the team and then of course the carcar on track incidents happen and now oscars like ‘okay this is the guy who’s presence tinges everything i have with lando AND ALSO hes stupid’. ALSO also i think as him and lando entered the Papaya Rules era oscar felt doubly insane abt this because how have lando and carlos been able to maintain such a good relationship for so long DESPITE being competitive teammates and how can he replicate this with lando now that race wins are on the line ???? and then cue his obsession with carlos because he KNOWS that obviously carlos isnt just an asshole just annoying and the whole “the opposite of love isnt hate its indifference” thing

But Guqqie has fallen hard for Aimsey at this point and they'd do anything to keep them. So Guqqie becomes Gem's apprentice

And Guqqie's vigilante name was Frostbite and the heroes thought that was too edgy so she had to shorten it to Frost anyways

So Frost becomes Fauna's apprentice

(also Aimsey's hero name is Prince and False's (who is their mentor) is Queen and I did not mean to name them off of bands/artists--)

And like. Guqqie's vigilante bg is rly important because it means that Grian trusts her. All vigilantes are like. Mutuals. in the way you would be on Facebook but not on Tumblr yknow

But Aimsey's naivety is also important bc Gem can tell Guqqie stuff, but Guqqie will tell Aimsey, which is okay, and Aimsey will tell False, which isn't great but it's still fine, and then False will tell Ren which is a Problem because Ren doesn't shut up

So Guqqie has to lie to Aimsey to protect Gem. And it's sad.

The side plot is sad. This is side plot. These are side characters and Guqqie is semi important by sheer just being Gem's apprentice but omg I love them
