IKEA stuff & other missing content: "Please note that modern licensing restrictions have required the removal of 1 pack and some of the original songs, but we have included as many as possible." licensing issues for packs like this arent new (hi katy perry), interestingly theres no such notes for the sims 1 which includes irl celebrities, not just in superstar but also drew carey in house party since there is missing content, the file size may be smaller than UC

small improvements to the games graphics rules that u could DIY in basically any version of ts2

ts2 incorporates an old version of shadow fixes, without credit or nopke's permission (simnopke) (shadow fixes)

holiday stuff being hidden is an old bug thats present in UC, its still broken in legacy collection

it looks like bodyshop is gone?

ive seen several ppl saying that the denuvo tag was for the included sims 4 kits (why r those there lmao), that the old games dont actually have denuvo (sidenote it kinda bites that i alrdy have those kits lol)

some questions i have:

does the ui look better in ts2? cas notoriously looks bad on widescreen resolutions. chris hatch made a fix for this and if EA is making a habit of stealing modders fixes this is worth looking into

does the ui look better in ts1? theres various fan patches for that listed here, same questions as above

i dont think anyone can actually answer this but how tf were pink soup & texture memory corruption fixed? everyones guesses seem to be making it 64bit or large address aware which many of us know only work so well. i wanna know more than "someone got pink soup" bc i think players often falsely assume the pink flashing itself is the problem & not a symptom of another problem

is it available to mac users? i am not a mac user but this is the #1 thing that would make it worth re-releasing imo

which original songs were removed from ts2?

im ignoring anything abt whether it runs better/worse for now til i know exactly what changes were made, cos until that point its all anecdotal

I forgot to post this last month so please count it as a February piece. Also Larchkit, Petalkit and Patchkit's designs aren't gonna stay like that for the most part. Idk why I changed the designs I already have for them into these but just know that I've tried to stick to the right designs.

(Also scratch out the Mapleshade and Ashfur from January's drawings since I've changed their designs a bit too). Thank you.

Was thinking about drawing this after realizing the similarities between the shows and their fan bases, mostly their opinions on these characters. I'm not gonna explain it all on here.

Colored doodles of characters I felt like drawing, Idk I just wanted to see my progress on getting better at mimicking the respective art styles of each thing for the most part. Mostly because I'm into both Bob's Burgers and Ed Edd n Eddy rn, and pretty much everything else shown on here (besides Orel and Greg I just thought they'd be friends, and Bluey cause i never get tired of drawing her im also excitedfor more Bluey).

I drew this basically as concept for an AU where Mapleshade was good. I know exactly what goes down but for now I'll just post whatever and probably talk about it more with some more drawings of this AU.

Also my designs for warrior cats are never consistent.

Since my birthday I started drawing certain characters playing Lazer Tag (since that's what my family, my youngest sister's friend and I did on that day). So I included the characters that had their birthdays (that I at least saved on my calander) and also other characters I really like recently.

So Leafy and Teardrop was teaming up until TD betrays her and Leafy tries to get revenge but keeps on getting shot by her (based on personal experience).

The thing about Kenny is that Sniper headshot him with a real gun somehow, and Crocker was teaming up with him so he's unaware of Kenny's death here.

Don't mind ARG he ain't hating Mickey he's just in the zone and looking out for himself and possibly Mickey, they're friends cause I said so.

Also 2-D is here because I like Gorillaz rn. Frank is here because there's a whole thing that I can't explain here but that's why he's "alive" here. Also he wasn't really caring about the game until the tension was getting to him. He turns into a ghost and flees at the end.

Logan here is looking up at Louise and Joe who were at a high point. Joe isn't even really playing, he was practicing his swing with the baseball nets next door to the Lazer Tag arena, but joins in with Louise at the last minute. They're looking down on him and making faces.

I listen to a bit of everything, but I definitely hit metalcore/djent the hardest—it scratches my brain really nicely lol. For the same reason, I like a lot of electronic music too (I'm in a weird, on-and-off drum and bass phase right now) and more experimental alt pop.

bands/artists I like: thrice (beggars album and earlier), spiritbox, jinjer, alpha wolf, thrown, electric callboy, vukovi, ice nine kills, poppy (her heavier stuff), polyphia, mothica, nothing but thieves, etc etc lol. Sorry for the grocery list of names :P

and I've never actually been to a concert before! I'm seeing killswitch engage in Calgary next year, so that'll be my first one!

Today in dnd only 3/6 of us players (not including the dm) showed up so it was me and the other tank, and our healer.

And we went into a sidequest in a mansion filled with ghosts but surprisingly the first spirit was friendly (she was the was the one who met us outside and was bleeding out. We thought the guards who were right there would take care of her (one of their own kind) cuz we couldnt cuz the guards were hostile towards our healer)

She tagged along and we came across our first fight. It was going on as normal with us trying to find a way to get it to be able to be seen but then the dm was like, only spirits can injure spirits and then we decided to throw our spirit to help fight. Our healer mentioned that its like pokemon, so the dm gave the spirit we were fighting a trainer and we went turn based mode, our spirit was given a few moves, we played pokemon battle music and sfx, i drew it in the pokemon battle screen and was the one keeping track of our pokemon's and the opponents health since i was the one with the soul pouch (pokeballs)

We continued on. Caught more that we fought, went by pokemon logic. The final boss champer was a few trainers with 1 line of npc diologue anf there was a healer for our pokemon (we spent SO MUCH GOLD on her) in the end we had 5 pokemon

For the final boss we deciided to split our 5 pokemon between us three to fight against the boss. I was the one to keep track of everybody's health including the boss D: so constant maths wich i DESPIISE but we did it.

Was keeping track of all this on the back of my character sheet, very messy cuz it was improvised and now im gonna make a seperate stats sheet for the pokemon.

We have no idea how we are gonna explain these events, as well as the pokemon, as well as the extreme loss of gold to the others next session 0.0

So my SWRPG group is midway through our second campaign (working title Rebel Scum just took so we kept it the tags gonna be swoopposting tho cuz its in the same swrpg setting as our first game, swoop gang which is also still ongoing) and my character Vikho Ried just hit 29 morality last session and its all ive been thinking about for the last four days. Looking back so far shes had two distinct stages and were on the brink of her third. (with stage four either being jedi knight or dead)

the original vikho concept was to hop in with a suave shitty smuggler from a backwater planet whos force sensitivity went unnoticed because she was so far out of the way of everything. Dolly Parton x Han Solo with enough Revolver Ocelot and Eva Metalgear mixed in to make a green skull cloud bubble out of the cauldron

she quickly turned into one of the party’s icons because shes a dramatic bitch who loves doing stupid flashy shit mid fight, and leverages her genuine dumb curiosity with seductive and a conniving edge to act as the party’s charm/deception face. She got a boyfriend, who then turned out to be a spy and thus was executed by the party while she wasnt looking. She never really got over that. BUT!!! around the same time she also fell in love with another party member, Noelle, played by @butch-paladin​, who also drew her a bunch early on like this one that genuinely had more impact on how i visualized early game vikho more than my own drawings.

this was like peak vikho, every time she got her hands on a new thing i would draw it, theres easily a dozen of these little skitcherins around but theres no way in hell im sorting thru my unsorted pile of sketches (i started this stack sophmore year of highschool)

noelle and vikho where such a charming duo and stayed together for most of the campaign up until last session when her slowly declining morality finally hit the breaking point and the dark side corruption finally GOT her ass. Noelle ran away in a panic because holy shit Vikho just let an imperial POW go so she could shoot him in the back

Now that Noelles gone its set in to Vikki just how deep the rot goes and shes having a total breakdown because in her detatched and simplified understanding of the force yellow eyes = inquisitor = evil = marked for death. so shes abandoning the party, including Noelle, to go find a corner of the galaxy to curl up and die in because she is CONVINCED she cannot be redeemed now.

such a fundamental change in her character arc spurred me to do a character redesign since shes throwing out her old wardrobe and i nailed it on my first try

I'm glad you liked the little Chapter 2 sweater Seb!! That was the last thing I drew, because I couldn't stop thinking about him in Mark's oversized sweater(also conveniently hiding the plaid I didn't wanna draw again), and of course I had to add cat ears 🤭 It's fun to draw the chibis because I scribble that kind of thing every day so I dont have to think too much lolol, I wish I could've drawn more little direct references!

I couldn't help but have Seb show a little bit of midriff in the Chp 1 drawing, this is incredibly specific but, there's that vid of him from Australia 2011 with the sheep, right? And when he's bending over, his shirt is riding up and the top of his boxers are poking out, and that's been stuck in my head for weeks, so I absolutely had to include that(especially since he always wore such baggy pants) I agree with NAYQ!Mark calling them the ugliest shorts ever, I had a bunch of ref pics of his real-life shorts and I'm just like god...you're so right...who let him wear those so often...

With that Chp 3 one, I have to say, even though I've now drawn it, I still can't stop envisioning his outfit as this outfit from that one post-2010 press conference:

I'd hopefully like to draw nayq!Mark at some point? I just haven't drawn men in so long.....but like I said in the tags, it's a lot easier to draw when there's descriptions available!!! Because I tend to deliberate so much over drawing, but your writing inspired me so much!!

Which is your favorite holiday inspired fic? i dont think i have any up tbh lol, but ive always been very fond of christmas themed fics. i'd love to say halloween, but due to cultural differences thats never been a staple for me. even christmas is difficult cause of the same reasons, so i guess its more about seasonal stuff than holidays for me, really? so in that case yeah fall and winter tropes my beloveds
