SPEAKING of dreams I mentioned this a lil bit ago but a month ago I had a dream about the DS game Princess Debut and i haven't stopped thinking about it since and Im gonna talk about it 'cause I thought the plot was NUTS and you know how I love wild plots

So like y'know how Princess Debut's method of dealing with plot questions is to just kinda go "don't worry about it" and throw some rabbit fairies at you before you can ask anything else? God that's so valid....anyway yeah that's super valid and the game does not need to explain its world or any implications since it's a fun and cute rhythm game with lots of bunnies but I do often think about how like.... Green eyed Sabrina (Princess) and brown eyed Sabrina (Player) just.....switch ...like forever, like they just swap places leaving their old lives behind and it's whatever....and honestly? Princess just abandoned ship when someone told her she had to learn to dance and like...valid

But anyway this dream was neat 'cause it was set like 10-20 years in the future after Princess and Player swap dimensions and go about their lives, it was set through the eyes of Princess whos been living her best life in our world, she got like an office job, currently single but that isn't that much of a big deal, she has pet rabbits, girl is THRIVING but sometimes she does think about her old home so she decides to check in on the princess dimension?? Its been a while since ive played the beginning of the game but I don't remember if they established if the portal between dimensions was like a one time thing or if they could go through whenever they want but I'm assuming they didn't talk about it at all so for the purposes of the dream it was assumed u can go through whenever u want lol

So Princess goes through to her old dimension to visit Player and see what's been happening in the past like 15 years but when she arrives the kingdoms kinda a mess 'cause no one knows what's going on with the royal family like no one's seen the queen (Player) make a public appearance in like five years, the king spends all his time in the basement of the castle, their kids are off living far off alone in the country being raised by relatives, and the country seems to be run by some sketchy lady who's the current advisor for the king so Princess is like bro what's been going ON since I left

She can't really go directly in the castle or the town tho cause I mean.....she did swap with another identical girl years ago and that would be a lil hard to explain so she's gotta find Kip now since he's the only person she could talk to easy enough and find out what's happening shdgshs

The king had black hair so I'm assuming in the timeline of the dream the Player got together with Luciano and they had like 3 kids and they had a pretty good time living a happy life for a while and kip was with them like he's the shitty uncle so right now kip is with the kids in the country so that's where Princess goes

When she gets there she reunites with Kip and finds out that there's huge and complex tunnel systems beneath the entire kingdom which it's existence is hidden from the public and most of the royal family and the Player vanished under there like five years ago Mysteriously and adult Luciano (he had a moustache..) low-key lost his mind a bit over that, sent his kids away to protect them and threw himself into research about these weird caves that no one knows about and no one's explored

Since this was a dream and y'know how dreams are weird Princess did end up having to do like....sidequests....like super video gamey sidequests with like waypoints and shit for the kids (one middle child son and two daughters, one older and one younger) to learn about their home life leading up to before the disappearance like this is a detective game dhvdhsb

Princess did try exploring the caves at one point!! Only a lil with like a string so she doesn't get lost forever but she finds like an entire ass abandoned carnival down there on one cave which is funky

A lil later despite Princess's efforts to stay hidden Luciano does see her at one point which does kinda break this dudes head a lil further 'cause a green eyed woman almost identical to his missing wife just showed up........that's some Wild Shit

I woke up before anything was resolved!!! Like most of my dreams!!!!! But I still think it had some neat concepts and setpieces and the plot was kinda cool and weird, I drew some doodles of it hold up I'll post some of those tomorrow~ I just like to talk about dreams, especially when I have dreams that are sequels to things, I'm sorry qwq
