yesterday's exam went terribly. but hey, it's like that every year. ive never been able to pass all my exams on the first try and that's okay.

but the meeting went really well! i mean we don't know if we're gonna get the thing we need yet, but i did learn a lot talking to the person we saw. it was v thought provoking in a good way.

i was thinking about maybe volunteering at the sorting centre. and while i was thinking about it i kept imagining B's reaction to it. he would say "don't waste your time doing a job that's so bellow your capacities! you need to focus on studying! you're too intelligent to spend your time sorting people's trash". or whatever he would say. but idk i think i'd learn a lot at the sorting centre and they need volunteers bc it's the kind of job even minimum salary is too high for. idk it made me think of that one story we've all heard of before about a guy who was flipping burgers at mcdonalds and then made his way up to ceo. and it's a neoliberal fairytale, whatever. but i do feel like if i want to achieve big things in the domain im working in, i need to start with the very basics. and the very basics is working at a sorting centre.

im excited for valentine's day this year even though im gonna be alone for the first time in 5 years... i saw a recipe for red velevet heart shaped cinnamon rolls on instagram and im gonna make them! even if i don't have a boyfriend to give them to. im gonna have a lot of fun making them and that's what counts.

im gonna watch european fs championships today! and im v v excited to go skating tomorrow! and on sunday! <3

GUYS, so I managed to meet Shun Sato after his Short Program at the Bavarian Open today, and he was so so sweet. Look at his signature, the little skating shoes!! 🤧🥺🥺 He did so well, he's currently in first place and I wished him all the best for the Free tomorrow!~
