dirtboss omg hi!!!!! has been a while since the last dirt ask. he was buried out in a hole somewhere thats where he got the dirt biking idea from.

anyway now for the mandatory infodump on dirt asks

like ive said before i always do my zelda infodumps on here bc idk i dont have anywhere else to do em. anyway OMG HI NEW GAME DEETS FINALLY.

the name combined w a lot of other aspects of the game we've seen before makes it look like its gonna be a spiritual successors to skyward sword within the botw mechanics and timeline, and honestly? that could be so fun. skyward sword sucked a little as a game (only game in the series w a cool water temple tho) but the lore was always really fun, and now we might get to explore new depths to it. what happened after skyloft descended, whether there was still any civilization left in the sky and what's happened with fi, and you KNOW my gay ass is hoping so bad for literally ANY sign of ghirahim.

the main villain(??) teased so far is exciting too? like the little stone creature in the trailer intro? we know we're getting ganon in this game, so im curious if its gonna be just him again but with a twimst or something created by or using malice, or maybe im wrong entirely for reading it as potentially villainous. i am curious tho.

the stone birds look dumb, however. i really enjoy that they are clearly a successor to loftwings, they look the part and are associated with a kingdom in the sky, but thats a hoverboard. for link. its so fcking silly.

plus yknow.... I love seeing games reference each other, regardless. Spectre's Blade, my little fangame, does that a lot considering a lot of it is heavily insp'd by Twilight Princess with some concepts and story from that game as well as some from BOTW, Skyward Sword, and Minish Cap/Four Swords so like.... <3 yeah I enjoy when they do that. my brain is soooooo full of zelda lore :)
