It's rarely a full fight like that, usually just them being petty and pissy for a while.

Horror and Dusts fight was a Big Deal, especially because it was actively destroying their house.

Sometimes, they just need to let off some steam/LV and will have a spar, nothing too serious. Those can turn into a 'real' fight, but damage is usually aimed at each other, and there isn't much collateral damage

adding onto this, people act as if lando has always disrespected max, or used max in some ways or the other.

they’ve known each other since 2012-2013, so clearly they have a lot of respect for each other (or at least, lando does). max is in the top 3 friends list for lando, and verstannies just conveniently forget that because they don’t like him. i don’t understand why they don’t like him, honestly, because i don’t think lando has ever done outwardly disrespectful to max. the simply love was not a dig, but banter between friends who have known each other for a decade. max did not “claim his catchphrase” again in brazil. it was something he said. so fucking what. yknow, i want lando to “claim” the simply lovely in lv. if that’s disrespect according to verstannies, then idk what they classify max’s behaviour as that, because his behaviour is way worse than anything lando has ever done. in a mental health charity stream, making fun of two of the biggest mental health advocates in f1 (lando and george) was disrespectful. making racist comments, making a joke out of child abuse, those things are disrespectful. in comparison, lando’s barely been disrespectful (as far as i know), and im not saying that to baby him, but because out of every interview, every interaction i’ve seen on media, this is the truth that i’ve seen, despite asshole journalists trying to change the narrative for more engagement.

hell, if lando’s ever been properly disrespectful (like after hungary with lewis), i’ll take full fucking responsibility as a lando fan. but, i need more than one example as compared to max’s list.

Thoughts on the Project Spacetime Outertale fangame? I thought it was alright for the most part (except the parts when it completely misunderstands Undertale and butchers the lore :/ )

I have a lot of thoughts about it, I havent shared a bunch because I haven't finished it and im not sure if I will! it feels unfair to critizise something If i havent finished seeing all of it, but there are many things that bug me about it!

before I get into that, I do wanna say that I am enjoying it a lot, i think the music is nice and it fits the vibes perfectly, the sprites are neat and the designs of the characters are super cute and I actually really like the added lore I think its vry interesting :DD

outertale is an au that I enjoy a lot as a concept and I think it has a lot of potential for a full fangame, and seeing ps!ot coming out is rlly cool :D

but like I said I do have some issues with it,,, most of them are personal and again, I have yet to finish the game

I think the way some of the dialogue is written, specially at the start(it gets better near the end of starton imo!) just feels very robotic and like its taking too much from the og game? but like i said, it gets better so it didnt really bothered me that much

there's a mechanic that makes you gain lv by being mean to monsters in acts, this is something i was not aware of and just realized because i had gone from lv 0 to lv 1, I think I accidentally fucked up my pacifist run?? Im not sure but it feels kinda odd that that's not something you would get warned about!

idk what it is about the way the areas where designed but I get lost really easily and they're kinda hard to navigate?? or maybe thats just me, thats more of a personal thing!!

RVB POKEMON AU except most of them dont have “battle teams” since most adults in the pokemon universe dont

RED TEAM

Grif: lv.31 Tropius, fruity king. Has a really close bond with his pokemon, and was never really interested in being a trainer.

Simmons: Has a full well-rounded team, and multiple in boxes he constantly switches out to give attention to. Ex-Pokémon trainer, and beat the gyms of his region, but stopped there. Main team… probably lv.70 Lucario, lv.80 Hydreigon, lv.77 Volcarona, lv.90 Sylveon, lv.80 Arcanine, lv.71 Gallade.

Sarge: lv.50 Red Garyados. Picky trainer that started later in life, and a picky pokemon to match. I think he caught him as a garyados after some anime-esque bonding scenario, but beforehand Sarge wasn’t much interested in having a pokemon of his own?

Donut: Pokemon coordinator, with a few battle pokemon! All of red team has the closest bonds to their pokemon, but Donut definitely makes it the most apparent! Donut will usually coordinate with his lv.30 Ninetales or lv.15 Jumpluff, and battles with his lv.45 Scolipede or lv.47 Luxray.

BLUE TEAM

Church: No pokemon, but a wild Shedinja seems to follow him around a lot! Tucker ends up catching the Shedinja before they leave the gulch for good.

Tucker: He wasnt interested in pokemon as a kid, but caught the Shedinja that used to follow church around. They bond over the weirdness thats epsilon.

Caboose: Ex-Trainer! He only has his base team, and has poured a LOT of love into training them! He definitely spoils them. A suprising ammount of his pokemon are… “stolen” from bad situations. lv.50 Shiny Galvantula, lv.65 Silvally, lv.75 Deoxys dont ask how…, lv.60 Cofagrigus, lv.55 Cacturne, and a lv.60 Arcanine that has playdates with Simmons’.

Kai: lv.30 plusle and minun! Not a trainer or coordinator, but loves her pokemon!

Misc and Freelancers in another post im sleepy… if someone wants to show me their pokemon headcanons please give em!

Simmons having the “strongest team” even amongst some freelancers (will write later) is really important to his characterization to me? He doesnt talk about the fact that he was an Extremely Successful pokemon trainer much at all, and his pokemon usually only battle eachother (or have private battles with caboose’s) so no ones really shown how strong his pokemon and his bonds with his pokemon are! Just kind of like how he’s always walked all over and stepped on. He definitely bonds with Donut since he has one of the “weakest” pokemon in the gulch, level wise.

Church (and temporarily Tucker) never having pokemon is also really important to me!! Something something trauma and subjugation, but I also like the connection of alpha!church dying, and leaving behind two best friends who only bond after his death- Tucker, and the Shedinja. Especially since Tucker and Church’s friendship gets glossed over so often.

Most people dont know Caboose has a Deoxys, even the reds and blues dont find out till a LONG time. Deoxys does love to battle, but hates people knowing it exists as it considers that dangerous, so for the longest time only Caboose and Simmons knew. The people “in the know” expand over the seasons through accidents or big dramatic happenstances. Usually the “bad guys” only find out right before they see the red n blue alien hyperbeam their brains into dust.

Im very very new to Yugioh, but is this cooking? Memento is so good at searching and Horned is a free summon and Dark Hole Dragon basically pops out for free if you draw it since memento payment doesn't target. Just gotta remember to detach Horned to the GY. These are also 2 lv 8 dark dragons, if you want something else. (Surely there's some 2 lv 8 dark or dragon requiring XYZs out there)

The downside is, while this sidequest is certainly not hard to achieve. Getting Horned to hand while doing full combo, I'm definitely not qualified to achieve it at the moment.

(used the bg from the 4th boss since it matches wanderer's palette better and bc im sort of obsessed with dead shaker's everything)

essentially, the swap comes into play with solo wanderer coming upon dead shaker first instead of kiruka (who has been traveling alone up to this point as well). it would then be kiruka and maybe a pair of other characters (jinga and leona...?) that show up around the same time to fight. which would still show kiruka the benefit of working together like in canon, but possibly still wouldn't convince wanderer--they have their own reasons for traveling alone (???)

honestly can't say if it makes sense for dead shaker to. 'brainwash' (洗脳) solo wanderer when. they could just steal more of their body but the idea was pretty visceral and i doodled it a bunch at work so. yeahg : )

i have to look at the capricorn stella again but wanderer would have at least 2 capricorn, so their move distance would be +1 from that, and probably an extended attack range since kiruka actually has an attack range that exceeds what you get from her cancer stella at lv 3, which i think is neat. other than that, there's the evasion counter stella, which would mirror kiruka's high evasion buff, or the skill that ignores resistances... plenty of options yanno?

okay so as my roster's nova, they know damn well on how i go from "gone for literal years" to "bulldozing through every quest available within a day" — the latter being specifically when i spedrun through the liyue quest (that i've been neglecting for years now whoops) for the taste testing teapot event. yep, i have shit priorities and it shows lmao

little note that i believe the aurora bot allows the sunshines what the nova's current status is at the bare minimum unless asked for further information

if your system aurora is a menace, it would report what your current motivation is if its nova don't talk while playing — for extra ammo, it might even go full throttle by telling the sunshines even the most minute detail it can tell them i.e. if you're too busy staring at zhongli's ass and the like

moving on, so after twelve (12) hours of grinding i finally have my teapot at trust rank 4 and im just gonna bullet point it with a bit of chatbox-esque dialogue thingie:

deadass prioritized aloy > everybody else

which def would've made her uncomfy if she is self-aware whoops

left my mansion empty until trust rank 2, which caused me to go on a shopping spree

i felt bad when kaeya's lines hit me with "well decorated" and "homey" but there's only a dining set there
