to be very honest, i've been feeling kinda awful this last couple of weeks, and i haven't been able to do anything but stress over exams and complain about my life. today this will end.

So here's a hopeful but realistic list of habit's I'll try to implement

🏋🏾‍♀️ 1: Im going to start working out again.

Not everyday at first, and i still have to understand if it works better for me to work out in the morning or at night. Ideally im going to rotate between: arms/abs workouts, youtube ballet classes (there's a youtuber that seems to have great adult ballet videos, and its a chill way for me to work out), and hopefully going on walks on fridays, since i have the morning off, when it's not raining.

🫗2 : Im going to do the dishes right after i use them

i dont even hate doing the dishes, i dont know how i accumulate so many shit. But i do, and then i have no clean dishes and that makes me not want to cook, and delay eating lunch and stuff like that. SO DO YOUR DISHES!!!

💊 3: im gonna go to the pharmacy to get my meds and actually take them

self explanatory, ive been super anxious about taking my adhd meds, since im going to try to take a more intense dose than im used to, and i was a bit scared bc of side effects but my friend has already calmed me down a bit about it

Everything is being so weird rn. My friends are acting so weird, two of them are basically ignoring me, and other two are acting super shitty towards me and another friend. It's super messy, and we don't know why everyone is being off, so i think i need to let all this negativity out of my system and reflect about this, and see if i could also be in the wrong in this situation

rare RARE mini small genshin ramble from me (because I just usually don't do this outside of discord servers genshin is so big they dont need me yapping too yknow) but I'm brainrotted about Furina so I'm here but like .,.,, I keep thinking a lot about how at the end of the 4.2 livestream Neuvillette called her Focalors. And he calls her Furina all the time. Like he says Lady Furina, or just Furina, like a lot, and of course he would because their relationship is.. like semi formal, but not to the point he would call her Focalors? The only other time an Archon got called by their true/geotic name by somebody else was when Scaramouche had called Nahida "Buer" in this mocking, sneering tone and btw don't get me started on the similarities of Nahida and Furina

But like he calls her Focalors. And there's so fucking muuchh going on in the trailer with Furina getting the death sentence and the prophecy slowly becoming true and stuff but like obviously Furina isn't dead dead.

and he says, "Focalors, you are a devious woman." which feels so disconnected from Furina and the way he refers to her. And yeah, she was just declared guilty but he still looks notably upset and sounds distraught through the rest of the trailer so what is it that Focalors, not Furina, had done? What scheme did she have?? And like yeah they're the same person, that's the same bitch with two names, but there was something about what happened here that was the fault of Focalors and not Furina,

WHICH is more insane because Arlecchino commented that Furina didn't feel godly, and that she felt like she had been cursed. That was Furina. that was not Focalors. And that doesn't mean it was Egeria, one because Egeria is confidently 100% absolutely dead as a doorknob that's why everything's gone to shit, but two different archons of the same element have different geotic names. Makoto and Ei were not both Baal, Makoto was Baal and Ei is Beezlebul.

the 4.2 archon quest was so good, i loved it, the story unfolded so beautifully, the characters were created with so much love, it's left me feeling so wistful and even a bit melancholy, i know it's going to haunt me for a couple days but overall i really loved the direction they went with this, what an amazing end to this story ♡

I've defended furina ever since 4.0 against that whole 'neuvi is the real archon' crowd (who were SO annoying btw even after it was revealed he is the hydro sovereign) and my adoration of her has NEVER wavered because she is just a girl ! and she's doing her best ! && her character is BEAUTIFUL because she's just a girl, a human ! who has single handedly carried this burden (which wasn't even hers to begin with btw) alone for 500 years—putting on a mask everyday just to play the part of the archon, suffering in silence... & on the other hand, focalors, her divine counterpart, too worked tirelessly for the sake of justice, so she could sacrifice herself to fool the heavenly principles, and return neuvillette's authority

This whole arc had me in tears because it's so, "give me back my girlhood, it was mine first." I'm honestly so happy how it ended with furina leaving to live her own life, as she should ! she's free ! after working so hard for so long... like she did not waver once, not even when presented the chance, not even to the traveler in her own head. (& i loved this btw because i feel like all the other aqs we've kind of been 'the exception' with the archons) (also looking back, the whole plan to trap her and put her on trial was pretty cruel, though i dn't blame anyone cus no one knew at the time) but i was so so happy to read the other archons' new voicelines about furina, because even they recognized her dedication and perseverance and strength

&& a shoutout to navia who is so beautiful and strong and she's lost her father and now silver + melus... their love and devotion to her literally had me in tears within the first like 5 minutes of the aq. Like the two oceanids protecting her !!!! they were already in the collective consciousness but were still defending her literally til the end, literally in death. rare npcs that i care abt 'n cried for + i really thought they were gonna come back at the end but they didn't like they actually DIED ?? idk me personally i think mayb furina's second story quest will bring the dissolved ppl back mayb idk but i'm manifesting, ik we're def not done with fontaine yet so give navia her family back !

&& also i loved that for once, we are not against the fatui. for a while now i've been under the impression that the fatui might not be as bad as we're made to think they are at first, cus obviously everything is not black and white. im normally pretty whatevs abt childe but he's so silly for fighting the whale for like a month & then unintentionally saving the day whilst dissing neuvi with that thumbs down at the same time HAHAHA

ok i think that's it for now, i just really loved this archon quest. sumeru and fontaine really set the bar so high and i hope hoyo keeps this standard when we go to natlan as well. the overall story just keeps getting more 'n more interesting as we go and i'm honestly so excited cus we're learning sm yet there's also still so much we don't know ahhhhhhh !!!

I didn't have an opinion on Furina for quite a while because of how less we know of her, but regardless I think that she doesn't deserve whatever hardships she'll face, like the prophecy that says she'll be all alone after fontaine drowns & the sound of her crying in the fountain of lucine? I mean just look at that adorable little idle animation of her blowing bubbles with her little friend *sobs uncontrollably* must protect at all costs!!

And that part of Neuvillette looking extremely sad— like how dare anyone make him sad! Must protect both our hydro lovelies!! And Navia too!!

hi! sorry to bother you but me and a few friends are very curious about the tags you left on the ffxiv translation post about Hien's response to Yotsuyu's abuser. im really happy to hear he doesn't say "well i can't condemn him for using her as a sex slave" but do you remember what his response is then?

its totally fine if you don't! none of us are that familiar with jumping between the dubs so we dunno if they have the ability to completely add new shots/lines, or if he does speak there but says something completely unrelated.

You know I typed out a whole response saying "god I wish I could remember the exact context here but I can't, here's a whole summary of what I remember I hope this helps" and then I FOUND THE QUEST with the EXACT DIALOGUE IN ENGLISH thank you FFXIV wiki.

The quest is specifically Elation and Trepidation, during the 4.2 quests. General context here is that you just learned one of his soldier, Jifuya, owned a brothel and "employed" Yotsuyu before she rose to power. He is clearly terrified and guilt-ridden upon seeing her (which yeah, fuck that guy) and Yugiri and Gosetsu move him to a different post so that he doesn't have to see Yotsuyu.

When you finish the quest, you talk to Hien, who was caught up on the entire situation by Gosetsu and Yugiri. He then gives you the standard three text-bubbles worth of dialogue to close the quest. The dialogue is as-follows, and the italic section is what I was remembering in the tags:

Hien: I thank you for your help in the search. Gosetsu has told me all that transpired. Hien: I would not presume to defend the life Jifuya led before he joined the Front. Nor will I condemn it. Frankly, it is not my place to judge. I will only say this: the Jifuya I know has ever been a man of courage. That he should feel driven to flee bespeaks the depth of his terror. Even now, Yotsuyu casts a shadow over the realm... Hien: But the question of what is to be done with her must wait. The Empire is on the move once more.

From what I've seen of other translation talk about XIV, the italicized lines are not present in other languages. French, German, and Japanese all have Hien commenting on how Jifuya is terrified of Yotsuyu, but they do not have Hien saying... all of that.

Which is like, horrific, because imo that section just MURDERS Hien's entire characterization. If Hien really does want to change Doma for the better so that the circumstances that lead to Yotsuyu's traumatic life don't happen again, why wouldn't he condemn Jifuya's actions? He is exactly in the place to judge, he's now the guy leading the entire nation!

To be clear: I'm not fluent in the other translated languages (I wish there was a Spanish version, but alas), so I'm relying on the information given by others. If this turns out to be wrong, then I would be more than happy to learn that! But either way, this line exists in English, and it really killed any excitement I had towards Hien's character.
